discussing at our local supporters club tonight about renewing season tickets - a member has highlighted the increase that green intends to impose on us all next season. On the back of that apparently the prospectus says green and all the other people on the board will get a bonus equivalent of 100% salary as a bonus just for promotion.
Season tickets going up by 25%-33% and bonuses being handed out to the board in excess of £3m.
And this is the info that's in the public domain!
Time for Charlie boy to understand, we appreciate the fact that we have a team on the park, but there is no way he will rip the **** out of us. We will back the team but don't think we will do this out of blind faith. We were taken for clowns in the past by shysters and to try it again will be his ruination. Let him show his commitment by freezing the season ticket prices and refusing all bonus payments. Now that would earn him and his board good brownie points.

This was all in the prospectus as you say but was not questioned. Even the supporters of Mr Green must agree this is excessive for a third division title win. The worst part of it is that he has not brought any investment, apart from the IPO which is cloudy, in to the club. I suppose it would be acceptable if he had brought in let's say £4-6 million in kit and sponsorship deals, but so far nothing has been signed. I wonder what the bonus structure for the players and coaching staff amounts to? There does seem to be a lot of money going out and very little coming in. The fact Mr Green is negotiating payment for football debt would suggest funds are there. You would hope after all his promises that an announcement might be made soon relating to sponsorships etc.
The 2 mill we will get from the naming rights will cover wages and bounus mate
Well Charlie,
The product is not worth the money just now, so I think charles is in dream land if he thinks all the season ticket holders will renew at increased prices. If I am totally honest it is like watching paint dry just now on a Saturday afternoon.
Think Green needs to be careful regarding ticketing pricing for next season. No matter how the league construction goes or doesn't Rangers won't be playing against anyone much better than this season. IF prices are raised 25%-30% that could see a fall in purchases. Green got the pricing spot on this season let's hope he does the same again next season
Get a grip posts 1 and 2 did you really think prices would be static as we worked our way through the divisions? Only a fool would think this.
Rangers need every penny and here you are squabbling over a few pound a year- Bet if Sky raised their prices there would be less of a grumble.
As we rise- prices must go up if we expect quality to improve and the team on the field to be better than the previous year and so on until we are in the top flight of whatever league set up we may be in.
As a Rangers fan from years gone bye the ticket prices did not influence me as to a season ticket or not I blindly follow my club where ever they may go and if that is oblivion so be it!
However I like many bears know that certain stories are untrue and have no substance or purpose other than to cause confusion among a strong support and these stories should be treated as such!
The next few days will prove to be pivotal to the cause and we should show patience and not let our loyalty waver all will be answered and accounted for. In Rangers We Trust.
@6 Prices are never going to stay the same but 25-33% even you must see that is OTT in the current economical climate no matter how blind you are.
If Rangers need all the money they can get why is your board taking £3m in bonus for winning the Scottish 3rd Div.
You can see more grumbling from fans as CG's wild statements are still unanswered. You really need to be asking him some probing questions rather than what school did you go to.
I don't want to see your club die a 2nd time and this is what will happen if you don't stand up to Green and ask the probing questions that you should be asking.

Seems Green bought rangers on borrowed money (like murray did!) but at HUGE interest rates, hence £3 million payback per year - for the £5m borrowed. sucking life out of gers for years to come.
Trick is 9000 less ST last year, and 40% less income.
If still in div3 (re-construction) and same teams, why not same money, but get some of those 9000 back?
Or raise by 10%, 20%, 30% and risk loosing more than 9000 renewals. ?
brown trouser time approaches.
Naming rights may be just share swap and so no real money exchanging hands, Ashley is real smart with his money. invest £2 million shares/swap means no money handed over.
gets ibrox renamed for peanuts.
Has Charlie not previously rambled about 40,000 season tickets at an average of £500 each raising £20 million which MAY be given to Ally along with the £10 million already in the warchest? Plus, what's the prize money for winning Div 3 in relation to the bonuses handed out for winning it?
Paddy Malarkey
Prize money for winning D3 title is £43k!
To 6] As poster 1, I admire your blind loyalty but your logic is way off. I was taken to Ibrox as a youngster in the 50's and have been a fan ever since. I've seen the good and the bad over the years and have been ripped off at many away grounds, but will not be with these proposed increases.
To call me a fool for this logic is laughable and I think you need to have a good look at the real world as you must have more money than sense. Also, any bonus payments made to the board should be generated by themselves and their initiatives.

@3. Please tell me you're joking.
The 3million bonus money could strenthing us back to top league surely it would go a long long way in getting us challenging for top honours cheers
