Use our rumours form to send us rangers transfer rumours.

The most worrying thing in the immediate future for Rangers must be that that yesterdays performance was the 2nd match of 17 before April 16. The team looks tired and bereft of ideas. Naismith is out for weeks apparently. Add to that stories of Bougherra falling out with Walter Smith, Weir's inability to cope and the strikers miss firing spectacularly. Not to mention McGregor and Edu at odds over their wags.

You are very very lucky that you've had Walter Smith at the helm. Without him you'd have been struggling to match Hearts. And you still might struggle to do that.

The people coming on here saying you should buy this player and that player need to get real. Others have realised the truth. You could not go the extra five grand a week for Commons. How do you think you could attract Pirlo and the like?

I take no pleasure in rubbing your noses in it. I recognise that a weak Rangers is bad for Scottish football. But you need to realise that there is no quick fix, there is no saviour waiting in the wings and that it's going to get much, much worse before it gets better.

I have no doubt that Rangers will get through this, but it won't be anytime soon.

Rangers outplayed on sunday but that's been and gone can't change lets look to the future. the league is still winnable still another old firm to go. celtic arent unbeatable and both teams will no doubt drop points in the run in. rangers need to just get back to the basics simple none of this sit in and soak up the pressure for 80 mins and hope we score a goal we have good attacking players lets use them. if we play attacking against celtic they can't handle it look the quick start against them in the cup we could have been two up inside ten mins. sorry to say it weir must now move on try bartley in there with bougherra. these tactics have worked the past few years because celtic haven't been upto scratch but that celtic team are not a finished article theyve not one anything so in that case we have the advantage stick by walter and the players theyve done us proud and stuck by there team in hard times. not like money grabbers who left for fortunes abroad. in walter we trust without him we would have been playing like this for years. considering how poor we are to still be in four competition in february is good.

Centre forward on left wing. Central midfielder on right wing. Real winger on bench. Centre half in midfield. Edu (can't even think of a football term for him) in midfield. One forward. Hard to blame the bank. Thanks for the past Walter but your time is over. Good luck at sky Ally (if you have nothing to add to management now you never will).

Walter Smith is without doubt the best manager for the job. He has a squad of 16 players to compete with Celtics 25 of which they have spent a lot of money on. Realistically Celtic should win the league, they should have done last year as well. As Sky pointed out at the weekend we have more points at this stage of the season this year than we did this time last year. If we win our two games in hand we are 2 points behind, hardly league over. We still have Celtic at Ibrox, it's not over yet although I do think we will struggle to win the league. Personally I'd like to see us focus on Europe. SPL winners will need to qualify for the CL next season so virtually no chance of getting in. EL will give us more money and who knows maybe heading to Dublin. Don't be so ridiculous to suggest Walter should go. If he can't win the league with this team then no Rangers manager could.

Breaking news. . McCoist offered SKY job.
He told reporters "it's a more lucrative offer than Rangers but I've never fitted a dish before".

To make mistakes once is bad but now every match is so negative. We deserve better.

Pirlo or Gattuso? are yous having a laugh? we couldnt get kris commons cos he wanted an extra 5k so where are we getting the money for them? people on this site have clearly lost the plot

it's just wondering who we could bring in if the takeover is completed.

Would someone tell Smith to actually play Weiss and then he might have a chance to put a cross in.

Ed did you see the match yesterday and if so do you think we have any realistic chance of winning the spl coz with games in hand it's only a two point gap and alot can change in these last, maybe 10 games {ed's note - of course there is a chance, but it is very unlikely now.}

That was a discrace yesterday no excuses. Lets hope walter can see big davie is just to old. Been a great player for rangers but is definetly just to slow for top flight football.

In the 40 odd years I have been watching Celtic
I can't remember an easier , more comprehensive
Victory over you lot , not even the 6-2 game , David
Weir is now showing his age , and too many others
Are frankly not up to the job , Walter Smith can do
Very little about it , and. Ally McCoist has a very hard
Job on his hands when he takes over , Celtic can only
Throw the title away , Rangers have a hard job on to
Even finish 2nd with Hearts only a couple of points
Behind them , the Celtic garden is rosy just now and
It will be in full bloom come May
