Got to agree wholeheartedly with both sweep1 and Molsgoals regarding steven davis and scotty arfield!
Both have the ability to play for rangers and their experience is invaluable. Certainly and rightly so, gerrard will be keeping hold of these 2 midfielders.
You can see a mile off that both davis and arfield, have played at levels above what the scottish premiership level is. Both IMHO are better midfielders than that egg head brown as i doubt very much broony the loony could have cut it down in england.
He knew his level and that's why he chose to stay safe, in scottish football! He always has been overrated and it honestly kills me, when that other mob say he was better/ or as good as barry ferguson 😂😂😂. Nowhere near baz's level and that's not being biased whatsoever! Couldn't lace our former captain's boots!

I agree that Davis and Arfield are two of our better players, also, I believe that Scott Arfield also had a personal tragedy this season, but, still ontinued to do his best for us. I also see that a French Club are showing interest in Katic, I personally want him to stay.

I think wee need a Ferguson or arteta type and calibar centre mid to dictate games and slow them down see out games would help and obvious one but much better qaulity on right side of attack than ojo and proper right back for the first team and maybe 3 or 4 squad players is what wee need to beat them to our trophy 🇬🇧.

Its consistency that's causing us the problems. The majority of our first team players are capable of winning the league. We've proved we can beat them, its the consistency in the so called smaller games that's costing us. If we had the same concentration we had against celtic make no bones about it, we'd be capable of winning the league!

I agree john25 starting with an experienced CB that will walk in and command the back fore no questions, there’s not a leader in our current back fore. If Kamara is to leave then he needs replaced by someone with bags of energy and loves getting involved but clever with it, Morelos is Undoubtedly going so we need two strikers and hopefully we’ll complete the signing of Hagi but these signings need to be pushing the current players into fringe players, also has anyone see much of Ross Maccrorie at right back for Pompey I can’t say I have, but he seemingly done quite well and could be the answer at RB for us if we can move tav on.

We need to stop reminiscing and comparing players we had in the past when pots of money was spent signing them and on their wages. I'd love an Albertz, Hateley, Laudrup, etc but we can't afford that type of player now. The poster who said consistency was our problem is right.
Having players like Morelos getting himself banned didn't exactly help. We still have a top-notch goalkeeper and the like of Katic, Edmundson, Jack, Barisic, Hagi and Morelos are very good players indeed. I'd bring Docherty back from loan and bring Hastie into the squad. I also wouldn't be too quick to send Kamberi back to his club as Defoe, great player though he is, will get more injuries as he gets older. Jury is out on Arfield and Davis.

Like most of us and assuming alfredo does move on, i would like us to sign lyndon dykes + another striker. I would like us to sign leeds utd left back barry douglas and hearts young left back aaron hickey, as i honestly think borna barisic may be sold (hope i'm wrong) . I'd give greg docherty a chance along with jake hastie on the right, as i do think hastie is a player. Obviously hope we sign hagi permanently and i would also take a punt in signing lawrence shankland from scumdee utd. Martin Boyle the hibs right winger could be another shout!

Right let's be clear I don't think ojo has been a success for us but he wasn't 'hopeless'. Early in the season he did contribute and in Europe he scored the winner against feynoord.

I think it 100% matters who wears the arm band. Players need someone to look to when its not going our way. Agree with you though on Tav. His form was up and down but he didn't deserve some of the $h¡+ he received!

There were to many players who enjoy playing for Rangers and in front of the greatest supporters in the world, but there was a huge thing missing. There was a lack of desire, commitment loyalty and fight. Some weren't interested if we won drew or lost, as long as they got their huge pay check every month. That has to stop, we need players who understand what playing for the mighty Rangers is all about.

I cringe at the stick Tav gets, the lad is a much better defender than most will admit. He is asked to play an attacking full back role, he will be missing at back from these attacks, this is normal.

If the remaining Scottish cup ties are not able to be played. Would they be wanting it awarded as joint winners.
Now bear in mind the SFA have said that no matter how long it takes the ties will be completed. Which is incorrect as winning the Scottish cup gives access to Europa preliminary rounds. So will need to be completed before this starts.

Its a 5 year deal with castore so going on your assumption it would b a £15million deal not £12million. The deal will be easily £5million + per year! I disagree with you both Me2 and John25,as i think hagi is a game changer for us. He has terrific vision, great technique with both feet, can score with free kicks and will only get better and better and that hopefully will be with us. He's that good with both feet, you don't know which foot is his better foot!
The young man can see a pass early and has the killer ball, he's a top talent for me, who'll make is big money in the future.

Hagi is class. Top players can play in any league, whether or not other teams try to kick them off the park. They tried that with Laudrup and Gascoigne but it didn't work. We need class, not journeymen. How about promoting one or two of our youth players. If now is not the time, then when is?

Tackling in itself is a dieing art and its soon nor going to be allowed its unreal the diff of tackling when you watch old games. however i don't think, as with most attitudes on here, we should be ruling someone out, esp an attacker because he's a bit lighter n doesn't steam into tackles. His brain and ability are enough for me to sign him. The rest can be worked on.

Lads, I’d sign Hagi. I appreciate the argument about being lightweight but look at Christie for them - he’s hardly built like a tank. Hagi’s awareness and an ability in the right position to make a killer pass could be invaluable. Who else do we have who could play no 10 role?

Already we're seeing that our kit partnership is going to be much better than anything in a very long time under Castore. I don't think there's any doubt that castore are going to do a lot of different, novelty items for rangers, that will be available for all us supporters to buy.
Tom beahon one of the co founder brother's said yesterday, that as well as manufacturing the normal replica kits, they're also going to manufacture the pro rangers jerseys, which is the actual shirts our players will be wearing and that our supporters can also buy if they want.
I think its a very good Idea, as under any other kit manufacturer we've had, we have never had the chance to buy the shirts, the players actually wear. Of course the pro shirts will be more expensive than our normal replica shirts, as their even better quality, better tailored etc.
Although more expensive it gives our supporters that choice and for anyone of us who want/ can spend that little bit more on the shirts, we can buy them. I reckon myself our normal replica shirts adult sizes will be around the £60-£65 mark, whereas the pro shirts will be around the £100 mark.
As I say its the option i like and we all have the choice to buy what we can afford. I think this could potentially be the best kit makers we've had, for a very long time. The quality is going to be something else and the novelty of the rangers items castore will make for our supporters will be of a big variety. Also the novelty of being able to go to our club megastore to buy all these Castore items, superb! 👌👍.

Been over to the Celtic site pages to see what they're spouting and a couple of crackers:
1. One of them say they should sign andy halliday
2. Rangers should have an asterisk next to our 2nd place as other teams could've taken over us. yet they shouldn't have an asterisk as they were 13 points clear. personally i think all teams worldwide that have been either awarded a title relegated or could've been caught and have had their season cancelled should have an asterisk. even the teams in between. So yes i agree we should have an asterisk for 2nd and they should have same for top.
Whether they want to admit it or not. this is not 9iar. this should be put down as an unregistered title. same as our war years titles because if you think about it there is 1 major thing in common with both

Well our war titles were not registered because a war started and not everyone was able to play football. cov 19 a different kind of war but a war nonetheless and absolutely no one was able to play. so i firmly believe this title should officially be declared unregistered. and its definately not a 10iar chase now. fair enough they've won 8 as all games were played . wether we were there or not they won them all fair and square. probably 85% certain they wouldve won it this season aswell but they didnt. an awarded title is different from winning it. there's no ifs or buts.
Only thing i'm wondering is do they now start at 1 again or does it continuefrom 8.

The motivation factor should be even higher for us then if everyone is saying its 9.Does anyone of our persuasion want to contemplate then getting 10? A once in a lifetime opportunity to shut them up and wipe the smile from the faces and we simply can't allow it to fail. As much as i enjoyed watching us win cups at Hampden in years gone by i'd happily get nowhere near that stadium if it means we win league. The players and manager will know what is at stake and its time to deliver. I believe we lost 10 in a row when it was announced Walter was leaving at end of that season, that in my eyes was a fatal mistake and i don't want to do them any favours whilst we try to stop it this time.

You can't say that it's not possible to play 8 or 9 games to determine the league, then say it's fine to play 3 or 4 more games to win a cup. Everything has to be finished as of now. It's not possible for the spfl to come out now and say that it's alright to play the remaining cup games. End of. They won the unearned title unfairly and square.
Any more games relating to this season should be cancelled. No more winners of anything. Doncaster will probably come out now and say that instead of points won we'll do Celtic names. Oh look, brown and edouard. The winning name combination. They've been awarded all cups in Scotland as well as being the best Celtic footballers ever. As for Europe, who knows.

I can’t see how Europe goes ahead the pools of players used by a fair few teams in the competition will have radically changed
As an example if games go ahead after the transfer windows in Europe close and certain teams make major improvements can these players play given they were never in the original European pools submitted?
How can that be fair?
Apart from cash I can see no reason for Europe to be played after all some leagues called some playing on so again how’s that fair we see it in qualifying rounds every year where a team just starting season play a team well into their season and struggle.

Spfl have no say on when remaining 3 Scottish cup games will be played. SFA will determine when cup games will be played.
