"McCoist targets new signings", he really is special, the club are looking to cut costs and he wants to go shopping! unfortunately this is just the latest in a never ending stream of nonsense from the clueless one. Along with "McCoist wants to keep momentum going", what momentum, his team of overpaid pros struggle to compete with part timers, but best of all is "McCoist is relishing the next step" god help us all!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Yes Smokey he has more front than Blackpool and thicker skin than a bull rhino.

Agree0 Disagree0

If mccoist is relishing the next step how many bears are wanting him to be in charge for the next step?? now we hear he is talking to acouple players for next season probably a couple of geriatrics out of still game which maybe an improvement on some that are there at the minute

Agree0 Disagree0

My take on it is if we are looking at new players the manager must know we will be financial sound that in itself must be a good thing cause let's face it ally knows more than us as we can only guess

Agree0 Disagree0

@ 3 tmwnn you are assuming Ally's sole interest is for the good of the club

Agree0 Disagree0

Nbear yip surely nobody could disagree he might not be good enough to manage us in top league but never in a million years would his best interest not be for the good of a club he has made his name at and also a very good lifestyle

Agree0 Disagree0

If he is targeting new signings then I hope it is a decent CD, jig ha done well there but with cribari leaving (thank god) then I think one should come in. the rest of the team is fine (more or less) but that is one area where I think we are short. unless gasparotto (spelling?) is good to step up and play a full season there

Agree0 Disagree0

This page has just become the Ally haters page what the hell do you think he would want if not better players this wil be the first transfer window he will be allowed to buy players if the money is available (if not where did it all go ) you lot need to start looking upstairs we need to bring in better players we need to win the championship and then challenge Celtic if we land up sitting mid table in top flight all hell would break loose yous go on about youth we don't have the young players ready to play week in week out in first team we have no scouting network and the good ones we had left so that side will take time we have a semi final to play which we will need a lot of luck to win our players are not playing against the standard of player each game that Dundee utd are so it will be very hard to win it but that's where we have to aim for now am I 100% convinced that Ally is the right man for the job answer is no but i'm willing to give him that chance to prove himself this year has been ok well clear in league still in two cups football not pretty at times but some of the players are not good enough I know you will say he brought them in but all on freebies started off last season with six players and just a few weeks to get a team together so yes we grabed who we could and now we can't get rid of them they are on contracts so this rebuilding will take time but any managers worth his salt will want the best players he can get we need to get the likes of King on board and any of his friends who will invest we need to have another share issue I know that will dillute the current share holdings but that's includes me as well and i'm ready to put more in I know my investment is at the bottom end but relative to earnings its what I can afford we need to build a team to go in to he top flight with a chance to challenge we can't start cutting back on playing staff if we do that we will remain where we are its new investment we need and no more lining of the leeches pockets we need to get back to the top

Agree0 Disagree0

I am not renewing my season ticket until we get rid of him, he tells us to forget the Gazzas etc, then the next thing we are linked again to has beens like Kenny Miller and Kris Boyd for gods sake Ali give youth a chance, you were given a chance at St Johnstone, If Messi was at Ibrox as a youth he wouldn't get a game as he would be 1) too young 2) too small. He is a Walter Smith clone, Barry Ferguson was in the youth ranks and couldn't get a game when he left the dutch master made him captain put him in the 1st team. If I was a youth at Ibrox I would walk.

Agree0 Disagree0

The list of potential signings appears to grow by the minute but so far there is no word of any departures with a playing staff 55 we cannot add to it without significant movement out the lad from Manchester United and miller and boyd how is it going to be funded and miller and boy can't be longterm because of there age surely this is another bad decision by macoist an co

Agree0 Disagree0

@ 7 mate I dony think he's talking about buying players I think itll be more free transfers @9 I pretty sure a lot of the players out of contract will be leaving

Agree0 Disagree0

Poster 7, it is not a case of hating Ally, it is just that there appears to be a growing majority that don't rate him.
He has to get real with our current predicament and cut his cloth to suit.
He has far too many players, some good, some not so good and some untried. This has to be weeded out before a single player is brought in. He must also get a playing system in place to progress as a TEAM.
Also, forget all King and other's crap about competing with Celtic until we get our foundations right and that is nowhere close.

Agree0 Disagree0

What sandy a says is 100% right the amount of bears not renewing tiskets grows daily cooperboy is another put to sleep during nine in a row and brought back at hogmanay and been blotto scince the bears not renewing tickets may become a bigger danger than the boardroom battles if between 10/20% don't renew where does that leave any buisness plan or 120 day study in the small irish town called jeopardy me thinks

"My take on it is if we are looking at new players the manager must know we will be financial sound that in itself must be a good thing cause let's face it ally knows more than us as we can only guess"

Yeah right, Ally who was happy to praise Craig Whyte only a week or so before we went into administration and then urged punters to buy season tickets and then shares in RIFC on behalf of Charles Green?

I'll take my guess or whatever claptrap Ally spouts any day of the week.

Agree0 Disagree0

Billy b is correct no longer do we have a silver spoon feeding us it is more like the wooden spoon now or jam instesd of steak

Agree0 Disagree0

#7. Surely he could have signed players in the last window "if money had been available". That's the problem, isn't it?

@7 You recognise that we have no scouting system. don't you think we'd be better investing in that first, then signing players later? let's get some priorities right here.

Agree0 Disagree0

15/17 no he couldn't sign in last transfer window ban was still on and yes we need a scouting system but if we set one up today it would take years to see any results from that

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed039's Note - We could have signed players in last window as the transfer ban ended on September 1st 2013)

Naz ally was conned like all of us by cw and charlieboy maybe you weren't but that makes you the exception eh you could have put the rest of us wise to it shame on you

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed039's the transfer window in Scotland closed on the 1st of Sep 2013 a day before England and the rest of Europe as I've said I'm not pro Ally but I'm willing to give him the chance to build a team by buying players just as all other managers of our great club have it's upstairs we have a problem the guts of £40 mil has went out the door in 18 months and not one transfer paid no scouting system we need that now as it will be years before we reep the benefits of that we need new investment to buy new players and yes we need to get rid of dead wood they have done their job got us as far as the championship but they aren't good enough to play in top league so we need to get players in who are because if we are not competing when we are there you lot will be shouting again I've seen the team through good times and bad but this is way below that but we are where we are you can't judge this team against teams of the past let just get back to the top league and build a team to compete think about it this time next year we could be sitting here talking about the end of the journey so let's just clam down next year will be a better league better teams if when we get to top league and its no better we can look at change then

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed039's Note - that's not what I meant, the transfer ban ended in September and since then the January transfer window has been and gone where we could have traded freely)

#18 Actually I called him Craig Whyte mk2 on here when we were in administration but not under the name Naz and also pointed out a number of his lies on here but was slurred by some posters with insults like Timmy. Maybe you were one of them.

Agree0 Disagree0

Nbear2 have you proof he hasn't because that is an outrageous inference you make there.

Agree0 Disagree0

Naz you can be rest assured I've never called you timmy on here or anywere else for that matter

The latest signing rumours from ibrox is their looking at somebody being compared to messi who goes by the name of sweep 1 he's very attack minded in front of the keyboard lol

Believable0 Unbelievable0

TB82. Oh you are a naughty boy. LOL mate.

Agree0 Disagree0

The bear -hope his mammy dizny catch him at her laptop!

Agree0 Disagree0

Your insults don't bother me at least I speak what I think not from behind blue tinted specs, rangers are guff just now and I don't mind pointing that out, anybody who seems to talk rangers down on here seems to get insulted, even George from the sons of struth got people trying to chase him from here and he was trying to help the club.

Agree0 Disagree0

@ sweep 1 soz mate I wasnt trying to insult you its just a bit of humour after all you likened yourself to messi everybody that posts on here knows we are playing guff and that includes those who wear the blue tinted glasses

Agree0 Disagree0

Aye no probs thebear1982 probably ser myself up for that, what I wasn't basically meaning was lee Wallace looks great because of the opposition he's facing and shouldn't be anywhere near the scotland team till he proves he's got it at a higher level, you can't go from facing east fife 1 week and Germany the next, I know Hutton ain't playing for club but he's proven to me that he can still play at high level.
