Niedercorn where drawing 1-1 with ten men till 89 min in limisol maybe they weren't so bad .

20 Jul 2017 21:33:00
Very good team. I think they might even finish top 3 in Luxembourg this season.

20 Jul 2017 23:21:11
What! You are having a laugh. They wouldn't last in the Scottish Prem.

21 Jul 2017 13:47:13
Aye we got tough draw against Luxembourg 4th best take your medication g man

20 Jul 2017 19:55:55
Just watched 0-1 St Johnstone game highlights from the other day.
Again let's not look at result as gers changed the players constantly to this was just a pure training game.
Positives to take from this was.
Dorrans. Got into the box with late runs and almost scored. Plenty of forward passes.

Herrera. Got some good chances on target, wonder save from keeper.
Tav and Candehas producing good crosses.
Fredo. Great burst of pace, powerful, pulled off a great save from keeper at a near post header and almost scored a good solo effort.
Candeas put a right back, Holt on right mid near end - shows flexibility.
St Johnston hardly had a sniff.

Their goal was Anwicks fault, he got a pass back, instead of putting the ball into a safe area he elected to pass to Jack just outside the edge of the box, Jack took a bad touch, their player first time chipped Alnwick.
Overall going in the right direction.

I will say unless Dalcio has a double leg transplant we won't see much of him, hope i'm wrong though he's still a young lad.

20 Jul 2017 22:03:29
Dalcio is MOH without pace and Baz without skill and pace. So sorry but the truth. Pedro get Dodoo back in the first team squad before its too late. Display some self awareness and humility for goodness sake man.

20 Jul 2017 23:50:57
Dodoo? Oh aye, he will sort us right out 😂

21 Jul 2017 00:03:27
I might be wrong but was it not Fod in goals when they scored? Not Alnwick

21 Jul 2017 01:04:39
No Alnwick was the keeper. He blasted it at Jack who then took a heavy touch. Alnwick is much like a Matt Crooks in the sense that many fans somehow believe the guy is a world beater. When in reality, they were signed from the third and fourth tier of English football and therefore we should be cautious of how good these players are.

21 Jul 2017 06:05:14
Its a bit unfair giving players a few games (mostly preseason) and calling them a worse MOH. The lad in young, adapting to a new team and country give him some time before ridiculing him lol

21 Jul 2017 13:10:35
No it was alnwick, not hard to tell.

21 Jul 2017 13:17:47
How can You be pleased with the ST Johnstone game when we still never scored no matter what chances we had and again not a clean sheet, you Say onwards and upwards, i say definitely time to worry, Pedro Will be sacked or gone by christmas.

20 Jul 2017 19:14:58
Anyone any info on rossiter noticed he didn't feature in bounce match and no sign of him at training! Back on the treatment table I fear!?

20 Jul 2017 18:59:46
I can't believe the treatment some 'fans' on here are giving Fods. He has been an excellent keeper for us and is a great shot stopper. Also, lot's seem to want Caixinha to fail before he even get's a proper chance with his own players. Get behind him and the team, pre-season results are meaningless, judge him by the league challenge this year. Follow follow.

20 Jul 2017 19:56:12
Bizzmy you are right. No point in chopping him now. Need to pay him off. Find a new manager who needs to work with Pedros players. However if after 10 games Rangers have say 18 points and are 10 behind Celtic and in 3rd place, what happens then? I am telling you Pedro is going to be a disaster. If anyone thinks Rangers are going to get close to Celtic this year they need their head examined.

20 Jul 2017 21:36:25
Why do you assume that anyone wants PC to fail?

Some of us don't think he'll be a success which is completely different. I would love to be wrong but nothing he has did at Ibrox suggests that will be the case.

21 Jul 2017 00:39:54
Fodderingham is a shandy drinker mate.

I'd rather put the missus in goals

21 Jul 2017 13:46:45
Nobody wants Pedro to fail we want gers to succeed . but man not up to job with him in charge we be fighting relegation. sorry to say title 1 horse race

20 Jul 2017 18:43:03
Regarding changing the captaincy. I think Wallace conducts himself impeccably during post and pre match interviews. Speaks positive, very confident and in great detail. However he is not a leader on the park. Shy's away from his duties when a true captain should step up and give them a right bollocking when needed. Given Alves' experience I think he is the man for the job.

20 Jul 2017 19:08:00
Wallace club captain Alves team captain imo

20 Jul 2017 23:20:21
What some people seem to forget is that you can have many captains on the park without actually being given the official title and armband of being club captain! As far as i'm concerned lee wallace to remain our club captain which doesn't stop big bruno alves doing captain duties within the game! Common guys try and understand that and what goes on in football! You would think some of you guys came up the Clyde in a banana boat!

20 Jul 2017 16:15:47
If we could get over £1m for Foderingham and bring back McGregor I would be delighted. Fod had a decent year but to get a decent transfer fee and bring back a player of McGregor's standards would be a great piece of business. I think a bid of around £500k for McGregor and he would be back in a flash.

On a side note: I am still gutted we did not offer Gordon a contract when he was training with us, we missed out big time there!

ALVES FOR CAPTAIN!

20 Jul 2017 16:10:11
Barrie McKay quote i wasn't treated the way any human being should be. Really son were you starved beaten no you were paid to play football. Just because you were not good enough grow up.

20 Jul 2017 19:49:43
Just about to post something similar mate, even toward the end of the bread and snake reign he was lacklustre, no passion, no desire to play for the guy that "developed me as a player" he was mediocre at best, couple of flashes of brilliance doesn't make you the superstar a lot of fellow bears dress him up as, I believe if his attitude was right he could've been a cracking player for us, however not to be.

Hope he does well, there's no hard feelings toward him developing as a pro, I just dislike his attitude toward Rangers and think if you're going to take a pop at the club who made you, maybe think first before spewing allegations, it's not particularly classy or gracious to be fair, all very soon after the move and it's like he's been waiting desperately to get tore in.

20 Jul 2017 22:04:29
I wish McKay all the best as well mate, but I honestly can't see him being a success in the English championship because that is 1 tough league and I don't think he's got the strength mentally or physically but that's just my opinion.

20 Jul 2017 13:45:38
Charlie adam, alan mcgregor and steven naismith then get a left back and if Fod leaves a new keeper that's it.

20 Jul 2017 13:54:34
Mcgregor is a keeper

20 Jul 2017 14:52:19
charlie realy? non starter IMO why go bk for old players we need young blood with future sell on clause, we
not out the woods fiancialy and midfield is a bit heavy with DOF sureley has a few aces up his sleave a statement of intent from him would be nice or did i miss it?

20 Jul 2017 19:05:44
Would that left back be John Greig going by your list? I reckon we should be pushing the boat out to get Jamie Walker and consign Miller to the bench where a 37 year old belongs. He adds little value if he's not a number 9 inside the box. Worrying comments about Pedro from Barry McKay in today's press and questions his man management skills. We lost our best player because of it and if Foderingham goes that'll be a blow.

20 Jul 2017 19:30:36
The only one of these I'd bring back is Naismith

21 Jul 2017 13:21:51
I would have Naismith and McGregor back but that's it no more and definitely not toothless Charle Adam.

20 Jul 2017 13:15:42
If bruno can sort out tav and wallace keep the defence tight wee should go all out for walker and weisse.

20 Jul 2017 14:45:47
And end dalcios loan and free candies as in my opinion they don't look even half Rangers class

20 Jul 2017 14:59:33
Do you think Ped will change the Captaincy for the Sheff or Marsaille game?
Hope he does as I actually think it'll be a weight off Wallace's shoulders!

20 Jul 2017 17:37:14
frustrated bear before he has even had a chance, most of us are prepaired to give them time to 1st settle into our goldfish bowl 2nd settle in with new team #lwt them settle in

20 Jul 2017 19:34:59
why let candieas go and end the loan of dalcio they guys have just came in and need to get used to the game here the weather and language. what happens if alves is the same the first few games. people going to call for his head.

the gers fan that call for players and managers head are disgraceful. new team new manager all be it he he had a few games last season. end of the day teams take time to gel and it's a long road ahead for us. Pedro is the man for the job and I'm sure he will do great at the club and the boys he has brought in will do good also. just everyone give it time. sakes the league hasn't even kicked off yet!

20 Jul 2017 19:50:43
Tav's no good enough and Wallace might take the huff if he's not captain, which in turn could impact his performance, which is ropey at times. I'd be worried of making forced changes to the back line unless we recruit better replacements, might gel quicker if a better standard but still a risk.

Don't think he'd be happy about it publically, I would expect him to be passionate about proving the 'demotion' a wrong decision and showing that, don't think he'd admit a weight off his shoulders but think he'd be quietly happy about it and I 100% agree with you that it would be, might even help his game as he's got less responsibility and can focus on playing his match.

20 Jul 2017 12:56:12
Would anyone on here have swapped Fodderingham and Makay for McGreggor and Walker at the start of the season?

Just curious.

20 Jul 2017 13:09:42
In a heartbeat fod is decent but mcgregor is class. And as for barrie, hasn't looked up to scratch, walker scored plenty goals in a poor hearts team

20 Jul 2017 14:46:45
McGregor has propbably got another 3/ 4 good years I. Him and by that time I would expect one of the young boys to be coming through from auchinhowie

20 Jul 2017 19:26:04
McGregor would love to come back but won't be coming back

Straight from horses mouth

20 Jul 2017 21:42:14
and when did shagger tell you this deeb?

20 Jul 2017 09:15:59
Hoping fredo can pick up this season I know he's struggling on grass pitches as the bounce is not as consistent as the astro turf he was playing on in Finland.

19 Jul 2017 23:32:48
Thing is its going to take time and games to reastablish our position not just physically but mentally. Teams that go to the Piggery go hoping for a draw even when the tic come to there ground its a draw that's in their heads. After what happened to us Teams mindset totally changed but things will get better it'll just take time!

20 Jul 2017 10:45:10
So the answer is to do nothing and wait for things to get better?

20 Jul 2017 11:46:42
I agree that it will take time to allow new players to adjust ( how long though? ) therefore one solution is to take on an established scorer in the SPL and the most likely candidate is Mr Moult! Like him or not he does know where the goal is and is physical around the box that could benefit the likes of Fredo etc

20 Jul 2017 14:58:38
Miller?
