I see Kenny Miller captained the development squad today vs Brentford's B team. (We won 5-2).

The article I read stated Miller didn't appear a player that was out the squad due to being a distruptive figure. Giving tactical advise and spurring the youngsters on etc.

Seen a few pics from the game and everybody laughing and smiling with him also. Dalcio, Namane, Hardie, Beerman playing also.

I wonder if Kenny actually is the leak or something else happened? Strange one anyways.

whilst I don't read the Record, my wife messaged me the crux of what Jackson was saying and TBH I think that it is on the whole true. This is simply my opinion - I just don't think the manager cuts the mustard - he was a gamble to say the least and if it works the board are messiahs, if not, well - they have a LOT to answer for.

Get Novo on board, give him a job as "striker coach" or whatever you want to call him, part time if need be. Ideal link, our 2 main strikers (and Pena who's supposed to be an attacking player) speak Spanish and he could do extra work with them and the youngsters. I just think he should be part of the staff espeacially at the moment, and most importantly part of the coaching staff on the touch line on match day. If there is a divide at all the wee man could help to bridge it with his character and love of Rangers. he's our very own Medeteranian Scotsman!

Matt_rfc, wee novo has got a pub to run now, ie. "THE ANGEL BAR", which of course i've heard he's changing the name to, "NOVO 10"! This opening his own pub, will take up a helluva lot of the wee man's time, especially at the start, as he plans to have it open in around 1 months time!

No disrespect but novo as much as I loved him at gers and get what u mean regards passion and language barriers he wasn't a player of great technical ability so not sure he could pass on much in that respect

Novo has handed coaching CVs into small, US based coaching organizations and didn't get the job. I think Gers are deserving of/ requiring a slightly higher caliber of coaching.

How do you know Novo can even coach? He's never shown the slightest inclination to go down that road. I think he knows his own limitations better than you do.

Been thinking over past few days about a lot of the comments saying Pedro should get the boot as he's "Not the man for the job" which I will come back to in a moment.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but during Rangers 9 in a row. How many times did Celtic finish 2nd? The answer is twice. Just twice?!

Up until this time they finished 3rd 4 times, 4th twice and even as low as 5th once.

My argument as to the reason for this record is because they never at any point had a settled team. Too much chopping and changing until eventually, they brought in Tommy Burns who finished 4th in his first season. His team settled, strengthened key areas the following season and mounted a serious challenge. Obviously he was against Sir Walter or it might have been a better outcome for him.

Anyway, this brings me back to my initial point. If we don't show patience and continue to give the manager the bullet every 6 to 12 months, how are we ever going to settle? New manager comes in, changes full team and we are back to square one. Walter Smith came in with a settled team from Souness. McLeish from Advocaat. Smith Again from Le Guen (decent core to the team and strengthened key areas) .

Pedro has come in a built an entire new team and we are still sitting 3rd. But for a few positions (left wing and full backs) we do now have a decent core and I personally do see improvement.

Patience Bears. Give him at least a season, see where we are before making a hasty judgment.

Spot on Big Bear 😃. For me Pedro will now be judged on his ability to see through the next few fixtures, victories against St. Johnstone and Motherwell would be massive for him and would hopefully convince the haters to give him till the end of the season to reflect.

Declan John was very good on Friday and I see him as our left wing solution in this formation. I is blindingly obvious that we need full backs who can defend and Pedro needs to address this in the next window (s) or from the youths below if possible. Until we start keeping regular clean sheets we are not going to challenge for much!

What I would also say is that hopefully some investment has been made into scouting players as this along with youth promotion is where we are most likely to build a challenge. We aren't going to buy our way to the top like the past, Morelos is the only summer signing I can see at present who is likely to move on to bigger things (at a sizeable profit) .

Convince the haters? Think your being a bit dramatic. I doubt very much anyone who doesn't think he is the right man for the job actually hates him. Very strong word to use and very over dramatic. All Rangers fans want whoever is manager to succeed but sometimes think he won't. Everyone should be able to come on here and give their opinion without people using words like that

Pundits like Boydie, the Fergusons and Alex Rae all know a lot more about what is happening inside Ibrox than we do and don't seem to believe Caxinha is doing a good job and so are speaking out about it as they feel it's the right thing to do being Rangers supporters.
