Just like to say, l would really like to give a great big thanks to G Murty, after some of the managers we have had he has been a breath of fresh air. I know he has had some hiccups but he just seems to ooze confidence, which appears to have got to the players and fans.
It always felt good to be a bear but it feels great now.
He took over when we were at a bit of a low, but look where we are now.
So a big thanks from me
We are Rangers.

01 Mar 2018 18:12:21
Well said Caldow, a big thanks to G Musty

01 Mar 2018 18:25:26
Well sid that man i honestly think the florida trip did it, they got time to bond outside of football aswell, can't believe the difference

01 Mar 2018 18:41:03
Bang right mate. Brought a calm manner to the club. He has class and thinks before he speaks. On another note Ian Holloway can shut the hell up. Loudest mouth in football him. Didn't like his tone against Murty. Of course if a loan signing is good you would look to sign them. Common sense please.

01 Mar 2018 18:44:50
Pity the guy wasn’t in charge sooner mate. Got donkey gub thinking for sure. Let’s keep the momentum going now. Do them proper. Bring them on

01 Mar 2018 21:09:26
Sometimes the answers to your problems are right under you nose!
Imagine McInnes, Pardew or Pulis at the helm? Dodged a machine gun.
Class act so far Murts. Tie him down now.

01 Mar 2018 21:15:06
I think Graeme Murty has shown enough to merit a permanent contract but I would also like to praise Jimmy Nichol since he has arrived everything seems to be running more smoothly and it has been a good mix with him Murty and JJ.

01 Mar 2018 21:38:07
agreed jaws, since nicholl came in the team are more consistent. interesting end to the season for sure. hopefully sundays game goes ahead and we keep the momentum going into the old firm

01 Mar 2018 21:58:58
Was thinking that myself Jimmy Nic
deserves a bit of praise also as am sure
he must have some influence

01 Mar 2018 17:56:06
All our january signings have been good imho! The question i want to throw out there,
to all fellow bears is who's been the best signing so far? If the ED, would be so kind to run a poll on which rangers signing in january,
has been the best thus far, russell martin,
sean goss, greg docherty, jamie murphy or jason cummings! Cheers ED!

{Ed033's Note -

Rangers Jan Signings Poll

01 Mar 2018 18:27:32
That's a hard one theve all stood out, i am excited by docherty by goss is so comfortable he should be wearing slippers that pass on the volley the other night was total class

01 Mar 2018 18:42:32
I went with Goss but Murphy just as good. Others all added something.

01 Mar 2018 19:36:00
Gotta be honest Martin worries me. I won't write him off but he is quite shaky which is making Bates a bit shaky. We are scoring for fun just now but we need to be better defensively to beat Celtic on the 11th

01 Mar 2018 21:10:34
Best signing so far has been Graeme Murty

01 Mar 2018 22:16:02
Dont think its martin making bates shakey. he's good enough at doing that all by himself haha

01 Mar 2018 23:57:38
Haha paul86 i think he was better alongside Danny Wilson though. I think he needs someone who is better on the ball beside him. Bruno might get back in the team soon

02 Mar 2018 08:36:39
Its hard to choose just one, both murphy and goss have been outstanding. Murphy has let windass move central and we are seeing the best of him there. Most of us wanted shot of windass😞. Do you know what I don't get, the dhims go on about us having to rebuild again in the summer because our loans will go back to their parent clubs. But what they don't get is that murphy is ours, so mccrorie would replace martin, dorrans replace goss, and cummings doesn't start but a fee of 600k is agreed should we want to buy.

So what they on about rebuilding? Goss would be a miss but he would love to sign. So adding two or three quality to that is hardly rebuilding. Anyway I went off track, the best bit of buisness made by rangers is the appointment of murty👍

02 Mar 2018 08:39:42
Jimmy nicholl is a great bit of buisness as well👍

01 Mar 2018 16:01:30
We are finishing like a train. The league is Celtics to lose but if they slip up I can see the bottle crashing. Bring them on.

01 Mar 2018 18:02:40
If we win our last 9 games in the league I think we win the league. It's a big if but why not. Good to believe it's possible for the first time in 6 years.

01 Mar 2018 18:02:33
The Murty Juggernaut will steam roller right over them on the 11th. Cue TIMPLOSION and 55 will be in the bag👍

01 Mar 2018 18:04:10
Got there only winning it cause we list a couple games if hey win he title it's because we allowed it not cause we lost it lol.

01 Mar 2018 18:46:29
Not sure what your saying mate. If they win the title it's cause they have more points or better goal difference no? I don't think we allowed anything.

01 Mar 2018 21:46:05
if we get close to them let's see how they react to the pressure. the only times i remember celtic winning a title that went to the last game is when we got to the uefa cup final and had to play 4 games a week, and when they stopped 10 in a row in 98. every other time its been us. so let's make it close. beat them on the 11th and see how "invinvible" they really are

01 Mar 2018 22:05:41
"invincible" oops

01 Mar 2018 15:18:22
Sfa will decide tomorrow about cup games

01 Mar 2018 14:16:57
It would be funny if the Saturday fixtures get cancelled but weather clears and are game goes ahead on the Sunday as if we do beat them the week after we will be just 3points behind and they will then have a mini backlog with the game in hand and the cup game just something to annoy them a little more lol.

01 Mar 2018 16:28:53
dont care about other fixtures tbh just want our games to go ahead as we are looking better with every game going by and another win at weekend will only help build momentum and confidence going into unwashed game

01 Mar 2018 13:15:44
(First time poster, life long fan 😉)
If Jamie Murphy is out not be an option to give cumdog a run on the left see how he Morelos and windass would play as a three pronged attack? Want to see JC be a success and get his chance, this could be it!
Although Jamie being great last couple of games.

01 Mar 2018 13:26:32
From my own personal view, i don't think jason cummings would do well out in a wide left position! He's a central striker, its as simple as that for me! Cummings doesn't currently suit graeme murty's favoured system! Cummings is much more suited to a 442 system! Although he's a central striker, cummings is not suited up front himself, whereas morelos is very good in that role or as part of a 2 up front!

01 Mar 2018 14:10:52
jw left and cumdog in the hole IF murphy is out

01 Mar 2018 14:23:24
Agree with supercoop Cummings is a striker and playing him out wide would be no good. I would put O’Halloran in and keep Windass in the position he has been playing in

01 Mar 2018 15:29:23
I just don’t see the clamber to get Cummings in the team I just don’t see what he brings to the team he is a mediocre player nothing more

01 Mar 2018 15:56:54
Dodoo can play wide on the left, about time we saw him. Last match time was as substitute against Fraserburgh and he carried threat every time had the ball. Think he could play the Murphy role well. Definitely not for Cummings and MOH is way of the pace and mentally somewhere else.

01 Mar 2018 16:47:37
Blueblood he played in the the number 10 roll when Candieas went off against St. Johnston but didn't do much he's not a runner he's a striker a penalty box player not a runner. If Murphy is injured bring in the Middleton boy he's rapid and skillful would rip lustig a new one. We can't swap Windass positions he's on fire right now we need to keep the same shape and same personnel if possible.

New image uploaded to the
Rangers Player Sightings page entitled, My new neighbours are celtic and hibs fans

01 Mar 2018 18:50:09
Hahahaha in hysterics so funny

01 Mar 2018 10:44:53
Your thoughts on not catching Tic rather pessimistic. 6 points up 4 grabs in last OF games plus run in very competitive. Don't think they'll get beat but I smell draws aplenty. Their record proves they can have draws.

01 Mar 2018 12:25:41
They're record and recent form proves they can get beat too. I don't think it will happen because we will drop points as well but WHAT IF. To be even talking about this at this stage after what happened under Pedro shows how far we have come. 10 wins in 11 games is championship winning form so who knows. Need to beat them on 11th then we can start dreaming

01 Mar 2018 12:34:27
Our aim was to finish 2nd with a cup, I think anything better will be celebrated like never before even better than helicopter Sunday and the other mob are getting worried despite all their bravado on here. Thoughts fellow bears? keep believing.

01 Mar 2018 13:15:22
Will definitely feel better than anything I can recall in my lifetime

01 Mar 2018 13:36:26
They will never recover from it mentally. The 9IAR and EBT years have already left them deranged.

01 Mar 2018 14:14:42
if we win the leauge this season will be up there with manchester 08

01 Mar 2018 09:29:45
I hope Murphy and John are fit to face the manky mob a week on Sunday but if they are not, what are the best options? Perhaps we could play a flat back 3 of Martin, Bates and Alves with Tavernier and say Candeias as attacking wing backs. Bring Holt in for Murphy so we'd have Goss, Docherty, Holt, Windass and Morelos. Too early for Wallace maybe unless he gets a game against Falkirk?

Foderingham; Martin, Bates, Alves; Tavernier, Candeias; Goss, Holt; Docherty, Windass; Morelos

No way should Halliday play and I really do hope that Murphy and John make it!

01 Mar 2018 10:02:02
Don’t think it’s a game to be trying a whole system change, 4-5-1 or 4-4-2 diamond and if injuries will mean a makeshift left back then so be it, fingers crossed though

01 Mar 2018 10:26:50
It's a tricky one, I like a back 3/ 5 with wing backs, but we have to press them high up the field, they struggle against teams who press them. Also we must keep the Tav Candeias RB/ RW partnership for the OF. Worked a treat last time and to move Tav when he's in the form he's in right now doesn't make sense. If both are out and we have Wallace and Dorrans fit I'd go with them. LW is an issue if Murphy misses the game, but they'll have Lustig out as well!

01 Mar 2018 12:10:30
Lustig has been awful. I’m gutted he’s out

01 Mar 2018 12:28:36
Murphy will be fit I think. He is a gers man after all. Will be desperate to play. Might miss falkirk game though

01 Mar 2018 13:33:27
I, like many others, was getting excited at the prospect of Murphy taking on Lustig. But who's Lustig keeping out of their first XI? Whoever it is he must be even worse!

01 Mar 2018 14:12:51
Think Murphy will make it but if John don't then haft to hope Wallace is fit if not we will haft to go with haliday or even hodson as we are playing well and really starting to gel so we can't change the system haft to just make do in that position.

01 Mar 2018 14:17:32
boyata and a young boy henderson i think also both just bk from injury send whoever they want only going to be full of excuses anyway

01 Mar 2018 14:30:11
ralston is the boys name

01 Mar 2018 08:49:12
Right lads with the weather causing havoc and games getting cancelled I for one will be gutted if the weekends match is called off as I feel we are getting good momentum going and another good cup win can only put us in good stead for that mob. Also if Murphy and John don’t make it won’t help and I’m not slating Halliday but when John gets the ball he drives at midfielders and defenders and you expect things to happen but when Halliday had the ball the other night I just wasn’t feeling the same optimism I’m afraid

01 Mar 2018 08:56:58
Halliday continually gave the ball away and put us under a bit of pressure. I also dread to think what that mobs wingers will do if Halliday is left back

01 Mar 2018 08:43:42
Ian Holloway having a bit of a rant and saying Sean Goss isn't for sale. At any price?! QPR are 16th in the Championship and Goss isn't good enough to make their team? Bizarre.

01 Mar 2018 08:56:28
Holloway has always been a bit of a rocket tbh

01 Mar 2018 08:58:03
Holloway should concentrate on keeping his job rather than having a go at Murty. Then again maybe it’s just a reaction to being under pressure

01 Mar 2018 10:03:13
Holloway might not have a say in Sean's future unless QPR start picking up more points.

01 Mar 2018 10:21:23
Some of Holloway's post match patter was brilliant.
I loved his ' we've no luck. If I fell into a barrel of tits, I'd come out sucking my thumb'!

01 Mar 2018 11:19:38
They rate goss highly at qpr no just Holloway, even if he got the sack I still don’t see us been able to get him sadly hope I’m wrong

01 Mar 2018 12:31:58
To be fair I think we missed a trick if we had given QPR 3 or 4 hundred thousand for gods in January they would have bitten our hand off for it as Holloway had said he had no future at QPR. oh, how times have changed.

{Ed033's Note - gods like Thor and Odin you mean?

01 Mar 2018 13:11:57
Holloway isn't a football manager, he's like the kit man that everyone loves cause he's full of jokes. Don't know how he gets good jobs

01 Mar 2018 04:37:52
So what's the deal then boys, we spank Celtic 3-0 (heard it here first) and then we're 3 points behind them . or will their prem fixture be rescheduled before we meet?

01 Mar 2018 08:58:59
I'm sure the establishment will want to fully accommodate them whatever they want to do. In fact I think they should just award them the points to cheer them up after the trauma of their game being postponed.

01 Mar 2018 10:18:30
The SPFL will bend over backwards to accommodate them, couldn’t have them playing us without their first choice right back, Lustig 😂
