Heard just over an hour ago that dave king is going to be coming over to scotland pronto to set in motion the trust scheme for the supporters to put their season ticket money into, he's got his lawyers looking at the legality set up of such accounts, also he has already spoken to his friend & ex rangers captain & legend richard gough about becoming the figurehead for the trust he's setting up in which gough is going to accept, this is now moving very fast, dk most definitely means business, the outcome in all this is so very crucial for our great football club, what do you think fellow 'gers fans?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed039's Note - if his wheels are in motion then insolvency event is on the horizon)

I won't be a part of it its to dangerous and it will all end badly for the club mark my words its not only spivs that have shares but there is genuine supporters with shares their holding should not be put at risk dave king does not think about them only his qwn agenda as I said many times before anybody wants control put there money on the table and it will do the talking for them and till that happens I will not be supporting any underhand attempt I sY AGAIN THINK of the genuine bears with an investment in the club WHO HAVE PUT THERE MONEY ON THE TABLE

Agree0 Disagree0

Bears please let's be careful here. When an unorganised mob corner an animal all hell and survival kicks in and unrational decisions are made, usually for the worst. All I am saying here Bears is be rational and carful in your initial assessment. Be rational and be conclusive of what the outcome will be before we again go charging in. I honestly believe the FANs will save our team but it needs to be organised.

Agree0 Disagree0

Our accounts late at companies house, there is pre-admin meeting rumoured for monday. and dave is bringing together plan for ST, but if we in admin then same ST money will be needed to buy club (but not assets)

then we debtfree in splfl, but without ibrox, etc etc

some say this plan all along, shed debt and be in splf with others owning out assets.

Agree0 Disagree0

I would imagine GW will have a response out before shares start trading on Monday.

Agree0 Disagree0

N3 if what you say was right then whoever owned assets would need to pay for the upkeep of assets

Agree0 Disagree0

Hedge funds are just professional asset strippers (spivs in suitd),.

coomonwealth games, spfl cup/semis and the tennant (fans ibrox crumbling or a new debenture. your name on seat) will ensure landlords don't need to pay for asset upkeep.

is assets have income of £2-3m a year the its a £30m value asset, income and resale value. once we get into cl £10m bounty can start to rebuy statium back.

hedge fund wins all the way. we a debt-free and asset-free fotball club, as planned all along.

Agree0 Disagree0

Please no mass hysteria act rationally

@6 Buy the stadium back? Why would our landlord want to sell the stadium back rather than rake in a very tidy rent every year? Or are you suggesting all this has been planned for the long term good of the club?

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed was Dave King not the Finance Director at the oldco?if so he didn't exactly do a good job with the fans money last time around.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed039's Note - Dave king joined the board as non executive director in 2000, I don't ever remember him being anything other than that)

Go listen to tapes of green and whyte and thier sevco plans. pb72 all there

admin/cva (stage 1 shed debts), ipo (float newco) with £30m valuation, transfer assets (sales and lease back, or seize assets to cover rifc debts to trfc), release 30% more shares if someone tries to buy lock stock and barrell.

will fans be happy if we in splf debt free and paying £2-3m rent per year on ibrox. to some faceless group? or would they want control back.

blue pitch holdings. huge clue in name.

margareta? like the bank averts where someone complains about charges, and bank managers says charges need to pay for our drinks at end of year. chink chink.

fully expect aim company to hold assets and hive of football company. which would then be debtfree

Agree0 Disagree0

02 Mar 2014 22:23:33
@10 yeah i'm more or less familiar with the scenario you describe, not listened to the tapes but read about them. But never heard anything before about selling ibrox back again to the club, after the sale then lease back. How would selling it back again ft in to their plans? What would be the motivation for that rather than just creaming in rent year on year? Just because the fans wouldn't be happy with it and want control? that's the bit I don't get. Thanks for your first reply to my question but could you please explain why it would make sense for green to sell back ibrox again once he's got his grubby hands on it?

Agree0 Disagree0

N6 cheers for info on asset thing

Agree0 Disagree0

My s. t doh is going straight into the trust. There's no chance I'll give that lot another bean. Why can't everyone see that by feeding the toxic waste is more dangerous than putting your money into the trust. Get behind king for a brighter future.

Question. Is this current rangers team good enough to win the championship next season, with or without ally as manager? I think like most fans any manager with a hint of tactical knowledge would have the team playing decent football, unfortunately for us Allys here for the long haul and its blatantly obvious we will struggle next season.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed039's Note - Ally rekons we will struggle in the Championship next season without strengthening, which I think is outrageous)

Rangers have the 2nd largest player budget in the SPFL, Ally is suggesting Rangers will struggle in a league which will not contain their 12 nearest wage rivals.
Ally is either pushing the DK line or he has lost the plot.

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Mar 2014 20:27:09
With the players we have we should win the Championship by a distance, the managers of the likes of potential rivals like Hearts, Falkirk and Dundee would all bite their hands off for guys like Wallace, Bell, Shiels, Templeton, Black and MacLeod.

Let's not kid ourselves, we'd all been saying for years that the standard of Scottish football was getting worse and worse and yet now some fans are saying it will be a monumental challenge to see off at best mediocre teams. Didn't Walter himself say only a few years ago that we shouldn't expand what was then the SPL because there weren't enough teams good enough to play in it.

We'll have a budget of at least 10 times that of our rivals, far superior training facilities and the bulk of the support at every match. The only minus is the incompetence of Ally McCoist. And it's a big minus.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed039's Note - Naz, fans arent saying we shouldnt win it, the manager is)

I have come to the conclusion the mastermind behind everything is Ally, he is pulling the strings both on and off the park. The poor performances are intended to put off fans buying SB's, as are the leaks to DK.
He reminds me of Keyser Soze, nothing wrong with his ankle.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed039's Note - Never heard that comparison before lol)

Its unfair to judge the players while McCoist is manager, he has zero managerial ability from signings to formations, tactics, training, substitutions, even down to where players can and can't play, in short he is a joke who will probably never get the opportunity to manage again, but still the money he's made out of Rangers I'm sure he'll "manage" to survive.

Agree0 Disagree0

We don't need to win chanpionship to get in splfl,, there is playoff. whcih we will walk

Agree0 Disagree0

Of course we have the players to win championship but with ally ime not so sure ask ourselfs this if walter smith was our manager would we win it ide say no problem maybe not great to watch but we would win it without a doubt imo

Agree0 Disagree0

If king. comes over, gough heads trust, we hit admin2 and alley puts £3m (what he succkered out the spivs) into trust.

will the detractors of alley think it was worth it?

Agree0 Disagree0

I have said this before to someone what part of nine in arow run were u put to sleep and scince u were brouht back on hogmanay u must have blotto scince if u think ally will put £3 million into rangers there is much chance of that as craig whyte being the supporters supporter of the year

N7 as long as he moves upstairs at the end of this season

Ed039's Note - As a few of you have asked I have put up a new poll. The question today - Is Ally McCoist the right man for the Rangers job?

How many times can I vote

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed039's Note - Once I think, it should remember your IP address and only let you vote the once)

Good job the vote is online if had it been live u would need to open ibrox to hold the no voters that's the stage things are at

Im a Rangers man and a football man, but these days i'm finding it hard to connect the two with boardroom chaos and what ever is being dished up on the park neither has much to do with football

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Well Inverbear, Ally's teams will sort out the power struggle regarding season book ticket money as none will be bought.
Seriously, enough is enough, something must be done as there is no pleasure in watching the product on show.
We have some good experienced players and young players who are as good as any in Scotland. What we don't have is a management team to gel them into an exciting team playing to their potential.
I know it will be difficult, because of their contracts, but we don't just want a change it is an integral element to enable us to progress.

Agree0 Disagree0

Billyb you have a cheek to show your face after wanting Dunfermline to win the scottish cup game

Agree0 Disagree0

Johncass, slight distortion of what I was trying to portray. My fear was drawing Celtic in the quarter finals as we would have been destroyed.
Anyway, with McCoist in charge I don't fancy us to beat any premier team.

Agree0 Disagree0

Billyb I remember you well, if we get beat I will have a small smile, what a joke mate, abso joke!

when ally goes to london to the board meetings its good job the faceless men on the board don't go to the games they will only see results not performances or he would have to put a spin (on his football talk)

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Ally isn't going anywhere anytime soon. At least he is not head butting people, arguing with his fans in the stands or spitting on scarfs at pitchside.

Agree0 Disagree0

That would be better than what we suffer on the park moe entertaining

Total utter garbage. doesn't he see tie same game as us?
Beyond bad now. Please walk away Ally. don't leave ureself open to anymore ridicule. I backed Black at 20s to score first today. Just because of the price. I didn't realise he was playing til bout the 60th minute. Take the titles ally and walk. Please no more

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah another woeful performance and most players were shocking again today. I don't understand how Foster gets a game as he has nothing. Black struts around the midfield but can only seem to pass sideways, can't put in a tackle without fouling someone and his shooting all season has been embarrassing. When Law was signed I thought he was a stick on to be player of the year but he tends to disappear for long periods if the game, Aird hardly beats a man and his corners were terrible yet he kept taking them. Little never looks like scoring anymore and the standard of free kicks around the box is as bad as I have ever seen.

Rangers havnt been able to take free kicks around the box since Coop or Tam Mclean. Dire. wee barrys free kicks took 2 mins to come back down to earth. I swear I saw a centre half lite a fag while w8ing for itto drop. And as for the "Rangers thing" bout taking a touch b4 shooting? wTF is that about.? Unbelievable. Ally has signed the wrong players since he was handed our inheritence. Foster? Faure? Black? Smith? The keeper who gets paid for nothing? Pathetic nonsense. And I fear we may have made a major mistake supporting him. i'm so disappointed in him and Durranty. So so disappointed.

Just as well Ally's decided to concentrate on his footballing tactics at the moment rather than become involved in boardroom battles otherwise we might not have witnessed such a cracking game of skllful, exciting and free flowing football today.

Seriously, as much chance of Susan Boyle winning Rear of the Year as Ally ever showing any tactical know-how or getting his players to play in any sort of entertaining manner.

very poor again today, on this form the fans will not be flocking to Ibrox in any great numbers, only a fool would suggest we have enough in our locker to win the championship next season. we are piss poor, no excuses, out though tactically, slow, ponderous of thought. get the young lads in, give them a few games, let the fans have a look, because they will not be any worse than the present first eleven. some of these players need to wake up, because a new boss will get shot of most of them. groundhog day again, a malady has set in, and it is not acceptable. Rangers Always.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Quite simple ally must go fans should force him out.

Agree0 Disagree0

Op you posted wrongly I think you ment let the fans have a game because they will not be any worse lol

This is another very poor performance from rangers against east fife, we should not need to rely on such a young player like lewis mcleod but we badly miss his craft in the middle of the park, its so evident fellow bears

Believable0 Unbelievable0

01 Mar 2014 13:37:16
Yet again another 45 minutes of dirge, poor passing, slow at the back, Temps getting booted all over the place, really hard to watch. nothing on the bench. so more dire football second half. hope not. Come on Rangers. get the finger out. Rangers Always.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Once again one paced rubbish. No thought no imagination and no quality. Black seems only capable of passing sideways, Law virtually anonymous, Aird yet to beat a man and what the hell is Foster doing at Rangers? Hopeless doesn't begin to describe him

Agree0 Disagree0

Well just watched the game on my computer and that's the worst I've seen all season, totally clueless, if this a sample of what's to come gers have no chance of winning the championship when they get into it doug t. s. o

After watchin 1st half wonder if Ally still wants to talk about football? cause that was p%sh.

01 Mar 2014 12:00:53
I see Ally's team today has only one of what I would call an Ibrox youngster in the team -Fraser Aird. Crawford is on the bench but that is it. Why does he persist in picking Black? Good that Templeton and Shiels are starting but as I've said before surely if he recalled Mackay and MacAusland from loan and McLeod was fit (is he?) all three should start every game? Foster in the team too is a retrograde step. What do others think? The team is Bell; Foster, Moshni, McCulloch, Wallace; Templeton, Law, Black, Aird; Daly, Shiels

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I agree 100% it's just not going to happen though the league will be won soon & il be surprised surely Halkett & Gasparotto deserve a chance too if they're doing so well for the reserves.

Agree0 Disagree0

Maybe the youngsters would show more drive. I'm streaming the game and yes the pitch is not good for passes and east fife have a lot of bodies behind the ball but those are no excuses for the lack of urgency. They need a Ferguson type to dictate the play. On a different note I'm in Osaka at the moment and it's raining cats n dogs, looks lovely in fife!

Agree0 Disagree0

It would not surprise me if we never saw the youngsters this season as ally will try going through the season unbeaten and in all honesty it would not surprise me in the least

i weary for the days when rangers were a symbol of respect honesty and looked after there qwn and any dirty linen was sorted out inside the confines of ibrox and the only headlines that were made related to football if we could only get back to some of these ideals I would be a happy bear but somehow I just don't see it happening any time in the near future sadly the most simple of these ideals playing good attractive football will never happen under ally

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Out of interest, when did Rangers play attractive football?

I would say under Advocaat we played the best style of football I have witnessed as a fan. Since then it has been back to typical Scottish kick and rush.

Agree0 Disagree0

Under advocatt we were wasted under souness we were wasted under ally we get wasted the dream team would be souness as director of football and head scout and ayoung keen manager (ian murray) when souness was manager if he signed a player for a big fee and he did not perform he was off and he always got the same money back as he paid

Been a season holder since 84, next season I will be doing pay as I go. Every week.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Funnily enough, I find myself agreeing with this. Although it is convenient to have a season book and works out cheaper, it does not have the flexibility that going when it suits has.
It also may help the return of district supporter's clubs, that were the life blood of Rangers, with the supporter's association being the co-ordinated voice and main distibutor of tickets for the club.
Yes Mcc, this could be the way forward and we could do what happened in the bad old days and talk with our feet.

Agree0 Disagree0

I am quite certain u won't be alone in doing that because the older u get its a thought to go go to ibrox on the wildest of days to watch the mince that's on display but in the wider scheme of things the seasons should be altered to give football supporters the chance or the luxury of watching in better weather especially in the lower leagues where there is limited cover it would also help teams in europe if the leagues started earlier it would suit the qualifying rounds as we no longer are good enough to get straight in
