It's not looking good?

Does mike Ashley own part of the house of Fraser groups who apparently have a stake in castore which would then mean he still has his fingers in our pie? Surely Not

Is this the ground we were going to hear today 🤔🤔🤔.

Good job, I haven’t put any money down. The fat one won’t get any money from me if I can help It. It’s too bad that our board don’t do the homework on the fine print. Statement out from Rangers regarding basically saying castor will have a number of high street wholesale supply arrangements. SD looks to be one of these just buy direct or from other stores.

A search of who owns Castore indicates the Fraser group are the major shareholders in Castore
MA owns 61.7 % off Fraser group.
Crux is how much are we getting from deal if this all comes out to be true.
I have wrote on many occasions he would not be easy to get rid off. What we need to do is erode his influence.
Will be interesting to find out what court order says.

NRD, you're spot on pal. Just per usual some supporters panicking over nothing on this occasion and now grasping how the retail business generates. All we need to know is that rangers and castore are the ones who benefit from our merchandise sales. This time we hold all the rights and thank god its now the dog wagging the tail. Be very happy in the knowledge our club benefits greatly from our new kit partnership with castore, that's all i'm and we should be interested in here. Stop looking for snow when there's none!

I'm pretty sure the board would have known fine well that Ashley was involved. The guy and his lawyers have us tied in knots. We won't ever get rid of this guy now.

Probably the best hope is for him to buy us outright - He might see some value in having a club competing in Europe every year.

People need to chill out man. Castore clearly said they will have deals with high street retailers to sell the kit but those deals are separate from any deal with the club.

so SD, JD or any other retailer can have a deal with Castore to sell the strips but we still get our share from Castore from any sales made.

Ashley is not involved with this retail deal we have with Castore, any fans of the other mob on here its the same deal use have with Adidas. They have a retail deal in place with JD to sell your kits but you still get whatever your contract with Adidas is for each sale regardless.

How on earth can sports direct have exclusive rights? Think about it - we’ve sold practically 50,000 on line already of which Ashley isn’t getting a penny.

Statement has come out from Rangers Board Castore is sole partner and they can sell to High Street Retail. Simple don't buy from any of Ashley's outlets if he gets his grubby hands on our merchandise. Lots of other places to get the kit.

Well guys if going with different media headlines
It's definitely sounding like Morelos is going to be sold this summer

I hope we have a top striker or 2 to replace him and add to the striking options going forward if it's true
And I hope it's minimum £15m plus add ons if he's sold

As much as I have moaned about him he tops the charts with his goal scoring exploits just wish he lost the crazy attitude at times and stayed on park and was available for all games
But then again he might not be the same striker without the craziness

If he does go I wish him the best of luck and I hope he continues to score barrow loads of goals - hopefully not against us in Europe At any point 😉

If he stays I hope he continues to give his all for the club while his agent is looking for another club for him and helps us win the league this coming Season.

Personally I would like to see him stay and another top striker to join him up front would be fantastic

If he goes hope we sign 2 top strikers again to help us win that league that has eluded us for too long now

If he does go, which, according to the media, looks more and more likely, then I hope there is a bidding war. Only then will we get top dollar. Latest club to be allegedly interested is Everton.

I know defoe is 37 years old but a fit defoe will play a big part in our chances of winning the league. The wee man will score important goals for us, even if its mostly coming from him coming off the subs bench to do it! He's still a quality finisher and model professional, who's still as fit as a fiddle! 👌.

People go on about Morelos loosing his hot head but he was the same in Finland and never got the bookings he gets here. The guy was blatantly kicked, Barged and had a player change direction to run his studs down his calf.

He was singled out and the refs in Scotland let it happen. the boy won't get sent off or booked anywhere near as much if he goes to another league. If he goes we will miss him badly.

SGL - completely understand where you are coming from re Defoe, but unfortunately, he cannot be our main striker. At his age, no matter how fit he is, the games and the physicality will take it’s toll.

I think we need three strikers to be able to mount a serious challenge on celtic. If Morelos stays, then it’s Defoe and one other. If SG is only thinking about SPFL glory then it will Shankland, Dykes or Cosgrove.

However, if Europe is also on his mind then he has to look elsewhere and put 6 or 7 million in his wallet.
Still Lewis Ferguson is on his way.

Totally agree with this post / we can’t win the league with that formation and the current crop of players. Simply not enough goals in it. Not enough from out striker and certainly not enough goals or assists from the LW or RW. We aren’t going to go out and buy the players he needs to make that formation work so SG should find a system that suits the players he does have at his disposal. Think an attacking 3-5-2 would work. Take Kent out the team for the time being.

I saw on the rangers page that there is only 50000 tops in the first drop which is really a small number considering how large the fan base. I hope it's not too long before the next drop of tops is made or there's going to a few disgruntled bears out there. Negativity aside I'm looking forward to one of our most important seasons for a generation and I honestly think we will do more than stop 9.75 in a row but think we will retake the treble from the smelly tramps from the dark side.
