I'll probably get shot down for this and. It's that long ago I would shot someone down for what I'm about to say but:

I think it's time to let by gones be by gones where Naismith etc are involved. The lads came out and said he made a mistake and we should accept that, if there's a chance we could get him we should go for it.

Think he has a similar mentality and attitude to Kenny Miller and he would be a great addition to our first team let alone our squad.

Let's move on from the past now lads and forget comments made in ignorance and welcome him back. ( if the opportunity is there) .

I totally agree I want rangers challenging this season and he's a player that will add to that if the price is right tho

01 Jul 2017 23:45:34
Totally agree. He obviously splits the fans 50/ 50 I think but if he came back and done well enough for us to start winning trophies again he'd change some naysayers minds. We need another creative player badly as well, whether it's him or Dorrans, because when Niko went off the other night we didn't look like creating anything. I think Niko is a cracking player but I think it'd be a big ask for him to play the majority of the season because of his fitness and injury problems.

02 Jul 2017 02:35:14
His comments regarding his departure bring a different light to things for me and I would welcome both him and McGregor back into the fold. It looks like they had a proposal that was turned down by Duff and Phelps that might just have resulted in something different happening with our club but they had already decided our future along with Green and Co!

02 Jul 2017 04:42:49
What a lot of utter crap. That horrible wee so so and declared us dead and said he owed us nothing. Why is it only now he comes out with that when he is struggling at the moment. Why didn't he say this when he was playing for Everton? He is a grown man responsible for his actions and words he knew exactly what he said. He didn't need to come out with that or hold a press conference. McGregor, Davis and Lafferty kept their mouths shut when leaving Naismith could easily have done the same.

02 Jul 2017 05:33:16
"He's struggling at the moment" wtf are you on about lol he's definitely not struggling! He was ill advised and made a mistake. what he said was wrong, he's admitted that.
Would he improve us? 100% he would. If he wants to come back and help us progress I'd cheer him on

02 Jul 2017 12:19:59
The guy made a mistake get over It! Everyone of has had made mistakes over the years an for a good few of us pretty big ones! Look at how much Miller was hated when went to dark side an now he can do no wrong naisy would improve the team so don't really see how that's a bad thing
It's about time a lot people got out of the dark ages an stopped being so childish! What happened is long in the past get over It!

Rant over lol that's just my opinion an no doubt I'll get some abuse for it

02 Jul 2017 12:39:10
Not often I agree with Bengy25 but I think he's saying the right things to suit his own agenda.

02 Jul 2017 15:49:16
Scotty123

He is struggling as he wasn't in Norwich's starting 11 near the end of the season and sometimes didn't make it off the bench. He also hasn't made it off the bench in the last few games for Scotland. In simple terms he is Struggling to get a game for club or country

01 Jul 2017 17:58:21
Ffs the Dorrans speculation is is back again supposedly a 1.5 million deal plus add onns, SOURCE DAILY MAIL.

I'm sorry I don't believe it for a second for many reasons.

This has to be the most annoying saga ever, well for me anyway!

01 Jul 2017 18:55:55
We will get him eventually.

01 Jul 2017 21:11:15
Sick of hearing about Dorrans now, yes I'd like him to come but I've heard all this bid accepted rubbish for weeks now and no way should Norwich be allowed to get hold of Barjonas, trying to rip the piss out of us should only result in it blowing up in their faces and them taking a gunshot of reality because yes they might have more money than us but that's it.

no history and they haven't got us the Rangers fans the very best in the world as the attendances at Ibrox in the bottom tier prove and the way they are messing about and stopping one of the many millions of great Rangers from playing for his club just shows what a bunch of dicks they are anyway, Rant over

01 Jul 2017 23:35:38
Don't see what the hype and desperation is for Dorrans, he is mince in my opinion!

01 Jul 2017 17:47:27
Limassol won 4-0 away from home they have a settled team, if we get thru it will not be easy.

01 Jul 2017 18:33:02
Mate before we think of the cypriots we got to get past this second leg!

01 Jul 2017 16:50:00
Read a decent article in the times saying that scottish clubs often start slow in european qualifiers but usually improve vastly straight after. Which I believe will again be the case. Performance was good, we should have scores more but one. No need to be downbeat about that in my opinion.

01 Jul 2017 17:11:45
*1st half was good.

2nd half was an anti-climax

01 Jul 2017 17:42:10
Naismith regretting the comments on our club prior to leaving 2012.makes me wonder if we have now made an enquiry for his services. Thoughts fellow bears?

01 Jul 2017 19:58:47
Heard the interview on the radio. Regardless of what think of his actions he comes across as a very decent and grounded man with more than a soft spot for rangers. Listening to him speak of the promises made to the players by CW that were not honoured, and then the promises made by CG, i suspect most of us faced with the same decision would have made the same decision.

01 Jul 2017 21:21:30
Id take him he would definitely add to the team, we will eventually get over what was said

01 Jul 2017 22:07:24
Strange how former Rangers players like Naismith and Lafferty come out with such things when their careers are on a downturn

02 Jul 2017 00:39:05
Let's see if SN regrets his comments that much that he will willingly take a pay cut to come to his boyhood heros for a second time I really like him as player always have and knows how to handle the pressure of our goldfish bowl

01 Jul 2017 14:46:22
Still cannot believe the negative comments from thursdays game,
some people need to get real.

Niko had a good attempt well saved, and he also missed a sitter with a free header. If those two chances become goals and a 3-0 scoreline is the result, then all of a sudden everyone is delighted?

The overall performance is exactly the same but the negativity has gone.

01 Jul 2017 09:49:32
Rangers face an investigation by UEFA after a section of their support launched balls of paper on to the field during Thursday's game with Progres Niederkorn.

Hope the club use cctv and ban those responsible shocking behaviour children behave better first game back in Europe and that's how u behave no excuse for this should be embarrassed to call yourself some supporters I also hope any fine or that should be sought from the people who threw the paper and now there will probably be no more displays like this again hang yer heads in shame.

01 Jul 2017 10:17:04
Slight over reaction there Highlandger branding throwing paper balls as "shocking".
However we could do with out wee neds like that turning up as I don't think it looks very good on our fans.

01 Jul 2017 11:29:28
Doesn't look good but calm down highlander. Hardly crime of century. If it happens again then not right but a one off will be a telling off.

01 Jul 2017 12:43:06
Highlander chill man. I actually thought you were having a laugh.
P. s. it was said it was mostly kids.

01 Jul 2017 13:36:32
Bit of paper lol even the neiderkorn keeper for laughing at it

01 Jul 2017 16:24:47
Used to be bog roll threw onto trackside, highlander get a grip ban those responsible you having a laugh not as if it was lighters or pound coins and don't see the PAPER balls aimed at players

01 Jul 2017 17:14:47
If we ban the neds ibrox will be like a morgue.

01 Jul 2017 17:47:48
Shocking? Throwing bits of paper? Behave highlander or do u work with uefa?! It happens most weeks at most grounds during the season. It wasn't coins they were throwing. Total over reaction from uefa. Yes they can't condone it but it's nonsense! Let's concentrate on our performance on the field

01 Jul 2017 19:38:32
Happens a lot when there are cards to hold up. Its not a once off. Whilst its not going to hurt anyone it is distracting and doesn't show us up well

01 Jul 2017 23:42:06
I think trying to play down the throwing of paper balls is shocking, to throw anything on to the park is embarrassing. Find it laughable some on here are trying to play it down and claim it happens at most grounds, doesn't mean it should happen at Ibrox! Get a grip

02 Jul 2017 00:56:41
so what fine do we expect.

01 Jul 2017 08:37:30
The result is the obviously the most important thing on Tuesday but I also expect to see a big improvement on the level of performance. Those first 90 minutes should have taught the players a lot about each other and hopefully that's reflected in the next game.
