Can anyone please explain the logic in bringing back Robbie Crawford who can't get a game for Morton and leaving Barrie McKay on loan who is starring for Raith Rovers? If Crawford can't cut it at a league 1 side then what does McDowall expect from him to contribute? McKay on the other hand is playing extremely well in the championship but isn't considered good enough by McDowall for Rangers. To me it just highlights how inept McDowall is and shouldn't be anywhere near the job.

Stewie:I totally agree with you re McKay, its a no brainer,he should be back.
McDowall is going to keep playing Law and Black, who have chucked it.Crawford at least would give his all.

Is it McDowell. or is it lambias

Agree0 Disagree0

Crawford may not be the most talented player but he is a trier and will run all day for the club, and imo mcausland should be back before any other loan player, solid aggressive vocal great positioning best of the lot

Agree0 Disagree0

Mackay probs kept at Raith to keep wage bill down, He'll be staying at rabgers anyway don't worry.

Agree0 Disagree0

Les

How would it be down to Lambias? I doubt he knows anything about McKay and I'm sure his wages wouldn't make much difference to the wage bill. It would have been better not to recall Crawford and recall McKay however what I thought was a no brainer seems to be above McDowall

Agree0 Disagree0

The later me thinks.

Maybe there's a loan deal coming from Newcastle in McKay's position. and we can't have that now can we. . do you not see what's coming stewie?

Agree0 Disagree0

@3
He is a trier? What sort of qualification is that to play for us. He can't get a game at Morton is why would he make a difference

Agree0 Disagree0

Maybe Morton don't want to keep him. Why should they keep paying if he is not good enough to get a game?

Agree0 Disagree0

Les

And maybe there isn't? And even if there was do would u not rather still have a player who is playing well in the championship as opposed to some of the current team masquerading as players at the moment. Or would u rather not half an exciting Young winger challenging for a first team place

Agree0 Disagree0

@9

It does say that he has been recalled rather than being sent back

Stewie, we are going to be left cut back to the bone, we ain't getting promoted. .lambias said at the agm he will make decisions that people won't like. . Aberdeen will take Boyd. Killie will take shield, hearts will take black, someone will take Daly, law to Huddersfield. . Ashley does not give a monkeys about rangers. .the worse we are the better for him . . think of this stewie. . Ashley likes to buy distressed company's. . don't you think it strange no one adressed our over spending. . making us distressed

Agree0 Disagree0

Les

Your indulging in fantasy football if u think these players will go there. Why would any of these clubs take any of these players u mention? They won't pay the wages and even if they did it proves my point about getting McKay back. You seem to think you know a lot about who is going where. If these moves don't happen will you come on this site and apologise?

Hearts will take Black? **** I hope not! Seriously though Hearts have a sustainable wage structure now and Black won't fit.

Agree0 Disagree0

Bizarre and lazy transfer suggestions there

Agree0 Disagree0

02 Jan 2015 00:42:29
Hearts won't touch black with a bargepole, anyway they're all pish, this season is almost gone, we got to wait and hope for the bears to take over, we must resist Ashley at all costs, even demonstrating if need be, he will rape our club,

Agree0 Disagree0

Robbie crawford plays nearly every game for Morton so what are you talking about!? The boy is a central midfielder who will run all day for the club much rather see that than law and black but that's the mentality of some fans eh we are Glasgow rangers we do not accept player unless they have a fancy name or are a rangers man. McKay is a forward we already have too many what was the point in bringing another one back.

McLeod money goes to pay the lekkie bill. yes these players will stay stewie. Belt up its going to get nasty

Agree0 Disagree0

@17

That's simply not true he hasn't been playing week in week out for Morton and in a lot of the games he has started he has been subbed. Know a few Morton fans and they aren't impressed with him. The fact you mention he runs all day as being a positive really sums it up. Is that your criteria of a good player?

Happy new year fellow bears. Recently all my posts have been doom and gloom, but the 3 Bears have gave me hope. Don't really know them personally, but Mr Letham sat a couple of seats away from me before I began my anti-amcc boycott two and a half years ago. There is one thing I can guarantee, he is Rangers to the core. These guys have put their cash on the line and the least they deserve is our total support.
I would assume that Mr Park will take the lead and without sounding like a puppy dog, we should go with his guidance.
Another thing that is necessary is the ''fans'' leaders sit back and shut up. This consortium has shown us what true Rangers men are. Groups like sos have been driven by king's whims, but if this wakens him up---brilliant. This move must be backed with every fibre we have left.
I still think, in the short term, we are effed but, long term, we are Rangers.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I totally agree with you billy b we should fill the stadium out on Saturday and make plenty of noise and show the three bears they have our backing I know there is a long long way back for us but surely this is the start

Agree0 Disagree0

Wow havei we heard all this before already? Time will tell if they are good for rangers hopefully they willbe and this will be a far better year that the last couple!

Just please take it with a pinch of salt as once again these people are investors and will be wanting a return! So before jumping on saying they are the ones to lead you out of the mire again just be cautious and ask the right questions the questions that were never asked of all the other saviours of The Rangers!

Good luck bears and may the new year bring you all far better fortunes than the last 3!

Billyb:By effed short term,do you mean admin again?IF so, does that not mean the shares they bought would be rendered worthless?

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Jan 2015 12:49:11
Still a long way to go but there does seem to be a little bit of much needed light at the end of this long tunnel,l hope we get a good turn out for Saturday to show our support to the new investors and to show the sleazedales what they will be missing out on. all team very best for 2015 to all bluenose's on here and everywhere

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Jan 2015 13:18:57
@5 What new investors? They have only bought some shares at this point.

Agree0 Disagree0

Gkk@4, Hopefully with us to back them up, we will escape administration but the next moves on the new share issue will be pivotal to our future existence.
On the playing side, I feel we are well and truly effed and see a mid table spot as more than likely. The remainder of the season must be used to clear the crap on the coaching and playing side, introducing a new backroom set-up and a fresh approach to the way we play.
My biggest worry, with this going on, is the 1st. February and the damage that could do to us.

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Jan 2015 17:07:34
I hope you are right billy re admin.
As for this "team" of ours they have chucked it with most of them off in summer or this month.I don't mind staying in this league if we can get some one in to do what McCoist should have been from the start. As for Celik game, I'm quietly confident.lol

Agree0 Disagree0

Only one making money out of all this investment is Charles green. He's rubbing his hands and these people who keep investing money. He just won't go away.

@6 sorry I meant to say share holders. but hopefully lead to something more eventually

Agree0 Disagree0

@gkk. Admin wouldn't wipe out the shareholders. It takes liquidation to do that

Cheers. I know nothing about shares etc.

01 Jan 2015 22:34:15
You want to fill the stadium and give the idiots in control money?? They are actively seeking funds from any source (even though the offer from both king and the 3 bears on he table).
They have not yet accepted the offer from the 3 bears please explain why you would give these idiots any money?

Pledge to the three bears that you will go back when the offer has been accepted by the board and not before.

Agree0 Disagree0

HQ, I accept what you are trying to get across, but for the Park consortium to succeed they must be backed and to do that we must fill the stadium, thus keeping the lights on and the club ticking over. Yes the share issue might go elsewhere but they must be given maximum help in what they are trying to do. Forget King's hot air and stop hiding behind his false dawn. Also, all this crap about filling pockets, this is about the survival of the club you supposedly support.

To those Bears I have disagreed with and to those I have agreed with I wish you all a sincere "Guid New Year"

The person I would like to single out for a special accolade must surely be the man who has given Rangers fans new hope --- I give you (and raise my glass to) Mr Colin Kingsnorth of Laxey Partners, who has stated that he sold the 13.3 million Laxey shares in order to halt Ashley's Ibrox takeover to the "Three Bears".

I think he won over many more fans when he described David Somers as a "Wet Fish" ---- how apt a description. The fact that it now gives us a wee bit of hope is a big boost to many of us. We, the fans, have been riddled with in fighting as whether or not to stay away, cancel season tickets, have boycotts (or not), etc etc -- maybe, just maybe, this could be that little ray of sunshine that we require to put us back on the road to unity --- grasp the nettle, put our shoulders back and once again be the proud team we once were.

Right now (with only one dram) I am already looking forward to returning to Ibrox, looking forward to doing something positive again ---- and please God let my hopes be realised.

To the Three Bears (or maybe the Three Amigos) Good Luck and Good Health

Kerrymac I have to disagree with you painting Colin Kingsnorth as some sort of hero, laxey have done as much damage to rangers as anybody, including voting for Ashleys emergency loan and the way they have voted for the last 3years in boardroom votes. The only reason they are selling is because there shares are only worth 20p down from 70p when they first bought them, he obviously has a problem with Ashley because they probably have the same aim as to see which of there companys can make the most money out of rangers, so I welcome the fact he sold the shares but I certainly don't think he done because he has rangers interests at heart, he doesn't give a toss for rangers.

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Jan 2015 12:24:43
Colin Kingsnorth does not give a toss about rangers or rangers fans but he has done the right thing by selling laxeys share to the three bear and gave us rangers supporters a little bit of hope for 2015 for that I thank this man maybe things are starting to get better for us.

Great news today!

It looks like the tide is turning and the "three bears" have gazumpted the "twins and Ashley" the games really do begin now, if as claimed they have 20% combined then they have the power to call an EGM this should be done as soon as the transfer is confirmed by the AIM! With the immediate proviso that somers and James easdale are removed from the board and also Ashley's men should be removed as well as his time is up give him his £3M from the share issue and send him on his way, then let's look at this agreement he has with Rangers retail and sports direct? Will this be legally binding when they investigate green for the blatant fraud committed to gain control of rangers? Then when the true board is assembled and the "rats" are run off the stadium get those books and accounts out and go through them with a fine tooth comb as there is still "millions missing" and un accounted for and somebody knows who got what from "the great stadium robbery" I would start with the three stooges in green, Stockbridge and Ahmed. They know all about it and the truth will come out very shortly.

Now the sleasdales claim they don't take a penny from Rangers? I find that very hard to believe and they have certainly caused as much damage by preventing people from investing in the club, what do we do with those pair? We talk about both of them but in reality only sandy is the stronger of the "twins" and now he has lost the majority shareholder proxy vote he himself becomes nothing more than a small shareholder who I hope and pray has nothing more to do with any more boardroom conffidentialities as he has broken enough AIM rules the other "twin" is pretty straight forward he will be voted off the board and take his pal somers with him.
So All in all a pretty good day for the true fans and "the three bears"

Maybe just maybe we can start to clear this festered structure and clear the decks, remember still a few remain that need to be outed for the dirty deeds they did to good people so they could get there thirty pieces of silver.

Anyway fellow bears subject to AIM approval and if what appears to be true this is great news

Have a great new year everybody at Rangers rumours, the ED's and admin team all the great fellow posters and keep the faith, enjoy the day and rejoice a new beginning!

2015 the year of the "bear" Lol

Do you honestly think that's ure club fixed. You are a loss making company with no credit facility from a bank. How's that good in any walk of life.

Agree0 Disagree0

When did SE lose the proxy votes? As far as I am aware he still has the proxies for Margarita and Blue Pitch giving him an effective 27%.

Agree0 Disagree0

Thats why I posted close brothers would have a big say in who holds power and I know close brothers arm called closed asset fund dinsdale and dougs bus buisness and can't see them selling while yhey are pursuing whyte and co for the £24m there ticketus arm gave whyte but the mere fact they have shares proves there must be a link between whyte and green

"I still think of those people every day of my life" John Greig on the Ibrox disaster. Forgetting all boardroom battles etc etc, I hope all Rangers fans will join me in raising a glass in memory of the 66 poor souls who lost their lives all those years ago. lest we forget.
