Just watched the hearts game wanted a wee look at JJ. Thought he played ok but from what I've seen from him so far this season, i think he will struggle to get into our starting 11 if murphs and kent (if we manage to sign him) are fit and also think Middleton and candy are better players.

On another note, I know he divides opinion between the bears but Imo I still think we missed a trick not signing Naismith. For me he would have offered a lot more than Defoe will as his game is more suited to the high press and I recon he prob score more goals than Defoe from now to end of the season (ps hope I'm wrong) and the other thing is he would have cost a 5th of the wages.

Probably buy him in a couple of years time, he is only 32 at the moment, too young for us. One for the future.

Dont really rare murphy much myself. So i think jones is better than grezda, murphy and middleton ( another greg wylde) . But if wee keep kent the he would be fighting kent and candieas for a spot.

I agree with you stewarty blue think he would have fitted into our system better he played well against kilmarnock and scored Defoe is more of a poacher and not yet fit just hope we can fit him I to team or I think most of time he will be used as a sub.

Good ball playing midfielder, can take on his man really well and drive forward. Very excited about this signing he looks a player.

Im like the original poster so just watched a long clip on YT to get a taste of Glen and Matt. Glen looks like a cross between Ovie O and Ryan Jack with a good bit of ball winning but some decent skill aslo. Matt Polster looks like a great acquisition and if he can produce in the Blue pressure cooker we have a player in that man, effortless in covering the grass, a real athlete. All from YT so make your own minds up. 6- 0 tomorrow.

Minimum target for the five league games must surely be 13 points and get revenge on Killie in the cup match.

The unwashed have to play Hibs at home and Hearts and Kilmarnock away during the same period.

minimum target for 5 league games is 15 points IMO. we need to go into every match expecting nothing less than 3 points.

No more predictions like this from me. I thought we could get 12 points Oct. Nov we got 10 and 2 behind the celts, Thoght we could get 18 out of 24 for our games old year we got 14 and a further 4 behind the baddies. So its my fault we are 6 points behind them lol.

Yately, it's hardly an impressive run with every game at home against the likes of Airdrie, St Mirren, Hamilton and St J. Coukd hardly have hand picked an easier run than that and i think we all would have fancied us to breeze through them as well. Tougher tests ahead for them over the next few games while we have an easier run (apart from the sheep) . Let's see what they are made of.
