New image uploaded to the
Rangers Player Sightings page entitled, And the Tims call us Zombies πŸ§Ÿβ€β™€οΈ πŸ§Ÿβ€β™‚οΈπŸ§Ÿβ€β™€οΈ

01 Dec 2020 22:04:41
Any more of their rubbish Stevie will tell our boys too get out of second gear.

01 Dec 2020 21:51:24
Glenn Middleton to become LB LWB, he has the pace, strength and can cross a ball. This is very interesting I thinkπŸ‘.

01 Dec 2020 23:05:16
Dont think so coldo, never a left back in a million years.

01 Dec 2020 23:40:40
The lad burst on to the scene and then disappeared virtually without a trace. I always thought there was a player there. Very much a confidence player I think. Could be a good move but only problem he has Borna and big Shirley in front of him.

02 Dec 2020 06:58:35
Need all same attribtes to b a winger also. can't see it tbh. Will end up another greg wylde. He is slightly better. Hopefully am proved wrong.

02 Dec 2020 09:18:00
Must admit I hardly recognised Glenn when he came onto the park and he looked like a tank. Hope he gets a chanceβœŒοΈπŸ‡¬πŸ‡§.

01 Dec 2020 21:37:15
Hi guys, I have just sent Ed033 the link to our Glasgow south west foodbank appeal and hopefully it will be up soon.
Glasgow south west foodbank is a fantastic organisation who need our help this year. Right now we have families who are struggling to get by, and anything we can do to help will be gratefully received.
It's a tough time for all, but the thought of some families struggling to put food on the table at this time of year is heartbreaking.
This is the Rangers rumours forum first attempt to raise some much needed funds for Glasgow south west foodbank so let's do the forum proud guys. Any donation, no matter what size, will go a long way in helping.
Thank you guys!

02 Dec 2020 08:51:53
fair play to you bmgh01 have sent something hope you reach your target and beyond .

01 Dec 2020 21:12:23
Keep hearing them say over in the dark side we are weak through the middle our strikers don't score blah blah. Can they not give us any credit we got best goal difference in the top 11 leagues in europe that's no a weak team. Long may the meltdown continue! Love the fallout. Deck of cards rite enough.

01 Dec 2020 21:46:37
Imagine what will happen when our strikers start scoring regularly.

01 Dec 2020 23:44:24
To be fair I never compliment them either. Par for the course. Must say I'm loving this at the moment, especially with the tax dodger now backing Lurgan Flopp as well. Astonishing he is still there and can only assume they don't have the dosh to kick him out the door. Brilliant!

02 Dec 2020 01:50:57
Where you keep hearing this?

02 Dec 2020 06:39:48
Probably hearing/ reading it from a celtic website Tomthumb12 πŸ€”.

01 Dec 2020 21:07:02
See this fantasy Phil on their page he can't believe our defenders have scored more goals than our strikers

Well let's look at the facts

Rangers strikers have scored 16 goals
Rangers defenders have scored 16 goals

What am I missing here?

Roofe 7
Morelos 5
Itten 2
Defoe 2

Tavernier 11
Barasic 2
Goldson 2
Bassey 1

Last season it was Rangers won't win the league relying on 1 player for goals ie Morelos

Now it's They can't rely on other people scoring and not the strikers.

Delusional bunch over there.

01 Dec 2020 21:29:53
Think Tav is on 14. You can’t win mate. Last year it was Morelos scores all their goals and if he hits a dry spell Rangers are humped. The used to say you need goals from all over the park and now we have that they are saying our strikers not doing enough. It’s classic deflection from them. I honestly love seeing their pain. I hope we do it this year and I hope every single last Tim on this planet is left completely and utterly heartbroken.

01 Dec 2020 22:05:09
Aww maybe the page I read was old but nevertheless it's not like our strikers aren't scoring it's just we have goals coming from everywhere now and not relying on just Morelos, long may it last, love reading their excuses on there about anything Rangers, embarrassing mob.

02 Dec 2020 01:52:40
Morelos did stop scoring mate, and Rangers were humped, , did you miss it?

02 Dec 2020 06:58:01
Aye must’ve missed that. Maybe they will be right this year again then eh?

02 Dec 2020 11:00:55
Didn’t need our strikers to score against that mob did we? one of our defenders managed it on his own. DO WE CARE? DWF? Keep the timplosion coming!

01 Dec 2020 19:50:21
Hi Ed. I think the food bank link is the wrong one has ed007 hijacked our pages.

{Ed033's Note - Waiting for the Rangers Foodbank link

01 Dec 2020 20:39:28
Hi guys, I'm just waiting on the Glasgow south west foodbank treasurer sending me over some info for our page, and as soon as he sends it, I will have the link to send to Ed033 to post.
Hopefully have it by tonight, or tomorrow morning at the latest.
Sorry for the delay!

01 Dec 2020 21:26:52
Hi Ed033 the link for the foodbank appeal is - justgiving.com/fundraising/rangersrumoursforum
Hope that is ok mate.

01 Dec 2020 19:38:07
Did anyone see kris Boyds team of the week in the sun.
Quite a good team he's put together with lots of thought.
The full Ross County team
Nice one Boydy πŸ‘πŸ˜‚.

01 Dec 2020 20:04:50
He’s out version of Sutton just without being a d1ck, total wind up merchant πŸ˜‚.

01 Dec 2020 20:11:43
The video of him talking on Sky about the $h! t at Celtic then Jermaine Defoe scores is pure solid gold!

01 Dec 2020 20:28:45
Classic guys, classic.

01 Dec 2020 18:10:05
That's Dave King away, sold his shares to Gers supporters group.

Don't know if that will be a good move .

Opinions guys.

01 Dec 2020 18:17:18
Concerning, 13 million pounds requires to be raised by fans. Who will be chair if they own 25%.

01 Dec 2020 18:22:30
It was always his intention and the fans being in control is what is best for going fwd.

01 Dec 2020 18:27:22
They have 3 years to complete. Can they raise Β£13m in 3 years? Not so sure.

01 Dec 2020 18:41:23
Very interesting to see he has agreed to sell at 20p a share. Scotsman saying he is selling at big loss as shares r worth 50p at present.
Where they getting that valuation.
I’m told my shares valued at 18p a share.

01 Dec 2020 18:46:55
Personally I would prefer a major shareholder being in control, a Murray type obviously but with more care, I would even have considered Murray himself if I thought he would improve our lot.

01 Dec 2020 18:56:23
Given some of the fan opinions on these pages I'd much rather a businessman was running the show than a fans group. Just my opinion though troops.

01 Dec 2020 18:57:26
I think dave king is undoubtedly doing the correct thing by selling his shares to the rangers supporters. Without question for me the correct decision moving forward.
Our supporters are the lifeblood and will never again be at the mercy of leeches πŸ‘.

01 Dec 2020 18:58:02
SGL still waiting on response regarding your wind up. Post re the three bears.

01 Dec 2020 18:58:36
so he is giving them 3 years to pay up (if they can) .

I'm in same frame of mind as Tomthumb on that.

01 Dec 2020 18:59:04
Not sure about this. It's great news knowing that we can buy a part of the club, but too many chiefs involved might cause problems. What if club 1872 has fifty big shareholders along with mccoist who's got about a million quids worth, then the rest of the unknowns. How can we have a meeting if there's about 500 of us. Anyhoo, three years to raise 13 million quid. Next year I might chip in a couple of grand. A small stake is better than none. I think that works out about ten thousand shares. What rights or say would I have? Would I be invited to meetings, dinners or conferences. Would I make any money from my investment? Lots of questions coming up. Was this the right time to announce it?

01 Dec 2020 19:11:29
I believe clubs should have a voice from the fans but surely the fans group can't all be singing from the same hymn sheet regarding making decisions etc if they were in overall control?

01 Dec 2020 20:06:49
We need one guy running the club who knows everything about the club from inside to out, like Buzz! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚.

01 Dec 2020 20:11:09
What John25 πŸ€”.

01 Dec 2020 20:21:41
SGL u talking about three bears, Murray and gilligan.

01 Dec 2020 20:47:03
I am not liking this idea at all tho I can’t see them getting 13 million to be honest anyway.

I must admit I don’t know much about this fan group but it would be a no for me.

01 Dec 2020 21:17:01
The answer rossco3001 is you won’t have any say a for a couple of grand, except when it come to electing a president of the supporters group, I think it’s a very slippery slope, a fans owned club sounds great but in reality it could cause mayhem between fans fellow supporters groups. I think supporters owning the stadium and training facilities in order to protect them things is a great idea but fans can be emotional, irrational and sometimes can’t see the wood for the trees and those things aren’t good for the business side of things.

01 Dec 2020 21:30:52
You could be right Highland mate,

Just imagine if them over on the dark sides green brigade had 50% of their club .

Would be a shutdown.

01 Dec 2020 21:32:39
John25, what about paul murray and john gilligan mate πŸ€”πŸ€”.

01 Dec 2020 21:53:39
U said they were two of the three bears total wrong.

01 Dec 2020 22:03:57
KJA9 if they can’t raise Β£13m in 3 years to buy the controlling stake in the club then I’m with you cause how would they raise money for players, wages and general maintenance of the stadium training facilities and so on. The reason we’re getting directors loans is cause nobody else would give us the money. We as a club are definitely turning the corner but there’s a long way to go before we’re self sufficient so now just doesn’t seem like the right time for me.

01 Dec 2020 22:31:38
Read all of the replies. I think this announcement at this time is a bad idea. Yes the fans can own some of what they love, but for the serious investors, say 50k and up, what is the business plan. Would the money have a return or is it just the prestige of having shares? What would happen if someone like Ashley, through an unknown business or partnered enterprise, buys up 5million quids worth? Dave king has had the right idea, but efforts must be in place to safeguard that the right buyers buy. What if Dermot Desmond bought some? Who is controlling the sales of shares to whom we sell? Will they be checked. Big questions. Say I invested a million quid in Celtic. I'd have say on their business dealings for example even though I'm a rangers man. Care must be taken. I'm sure the business men involved are up to date. Not like the ones who caused our downfall. Care and beware.

02 Dec 2020 08:38:49
The first point I would make is, I don't believe that Dave King would do anything that is detrimental to the well being of our Club. If Club 1872 by virtue of this share offer from Mr King become the major force, then, surely they would appoint a Chairman with a sound business brain to run things, our current Chairman fits that bill, I see no need for concern to be honest.

01 Dec 2020 17:56:13
As well as being a rangers shareholder, I'm also a member and community shareholder in club 1872!I've just seen that our former chairman and currently largest shareholder dave king πŸ‘‘ has just stated he's selling all his shares to club 1872,
within the next 3 years πŸ‘Œ What a magnificent gesture from dave king and he's kept his promise, as he always did say if he sold his shares, it would be to the rangers supporters πŸ‘ Thus us the supporters and members of club 1872 will be rangers biggest shareholders. I'm absolutely over the moon with this news and terrific gesture by dave king. He's a true rangers man and with what he's done for our club will never, ever be forgotten. He's a total legend and etched deep in the glasgow rangers history, for eternity πŸ‘ŒπŸ‡¬πŸ‡§.

01 Dec 2020 18:20:54
SGL, this is class and the final act of amazement by Sir Dave King. The guy has done all he can to get us back to the top, along with others, and he is selling as promised. He is also not making any profit, probably a loss, on his outlay, and in turn protecting the future of our club, will never again be over run by cheats.
Also, i posted on here re shares. How do i find out about obtaining some etc?

01 Dec 2020 18:42:53
Kriss I told u above re shares on finance page.

01 Dec 2020 19:00:46
Kri55,are you currently a club1872 member mate, if you don't mind me asking πŸ€”.

01 Dec 2020 19:01:53
John25 did u post your shareholder vote yet mate πŸ€”I posted mine away this morning πŸ‘.

01 Dec 2020 19:16:50
Ah OK John sorry i haven't seen it pal cheers.

SGL no mate not ATM. This is what i'm enquiring about pal. I know it may not be possibly etc but just info would be appreciated.

01 Dec 2020 19:51:41
SGL yes I did, r you just ignoring my question re three bears.

01 Dec 2020 20:12:37
What are you on about John25 πŸ€”.

01 Dec 2020 20:15:02
Kri55,you won't get on the website just now as its chocca i'm told.
When it settles down go on to club 1872.co. uk mate and you can join from there if you wish πŸ‘.

01 Dec 2020 21:03:00
Perfect SGL appreciate that mate. I've went on the steps John posted also. Your help is very much welcomed lads cheers.

01 Dec 2020 21:54:53
No problem kri55, be cautious on the route u choose.

01 Dec 2020 16:39:18
One of the lowest points supporting Rangers in recent years was our loss to Raith Rovers in the Ramsden Cup final in 2014, how did the Rangers fans react? , we still got behind the team and our manager, the difference between our fans and others . a support like no other, WE ARE RANGERS. #55.

01 Dec 2020 17:06:28
Are they not the best fans in the world though? πŸ˜‚.

01 Dec 2020 17:26:38
I unfortunately remember that game against raith rovers at ER well deecee as i was there.

01 Dec 2020
New image uploaded to the
Rangers Player Sightings page entitled, Celtic fans protest at new c.v. regulations meaning they have to wash before being allowed back in the stadium πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

01 Dec 2020 15:32:10
On 9th March 2013 whilst trying to get promoted from the 4th tier of Scottish football, Rangers lost 1 - 2 at home to Annan in front of 34,441 fans. No riots after the game. 2 weeks later we drew 0 - 0 at home to Stirling Albion in front of 44,608 fans. No riots.
4 weeks after that we lost 1 - 2 at home to Peterhead in front of 43,961 fans. Still no riots. 2 weeks after that we managed to beat Berwick 1 nil in front of a World record 4th tier attendance of 50,048 fans.
That is how you support your team properly.

01 Dec 2020 15:42:43
Here here, deecee!

01 Dec 2020 15:45:49
We are the greatest supporters in the world but deecee πŸ‘ I would expect us to be as loyal as we were and always have been pal! Its about what being a glasgow rangers supporter is all about mate πŸ‘.

01 Dec 2020 14:46:22
My mate just got me a good 1 there he said I'm not giving a **** about the job I'll be on a plane next week I said you going on holiday he said no the wife wants 3 inches off the kitchen door.

01 Dec 2020 15:55:34
Your jokes were flying along nicely Laudrup but you've just nose dived and crash landed with that one.

01 Dec 2020 16:02:25
What sort of biscuit can fly?

A wee plain biscuit 🀣🀣🀣

I'll grab my coatπŸ™ˆ.

01 Dec 2020 17:46:36
What are the only bees to produce milk?

Boobies.

01 Dec 2020 18:26:57

01 Dec 2020 18:28:48
10 coos in a field what ones on holiday

The one with the wee calf.

01 Dec 2020 20:38:33
Wee slug slithering along the street when 3 snails jump him and kick his head in.
When the wee slug comes round he goes and reports it to the police.
The desk sergeant asks "would you be able to identify the attackers if you saw them again",
No said the wee slug, "IT all happened so fast" 😁.

01 Dec 2020 14:34:01
hi fellow bears . anyone any idea what time we are plying hibs today?

01 Dec 2020 14:42:30
Doncaster has changed it to next week.

01 Dec 2020 15:08:47
A thing that's been bugging me since before the season started. When the fixture list was announced celtic were down to play us at parkhead 3rd or 4th game in. Lennon said in the paper that because there would be no crowds rangers would have an advantage and would like the game to be played late October as he thought the crowds would be allowed back. Lo and behold the sfa put the game back to October. Someone please tell me how he or celtic got away with that? . Why didn't the sfa say, the list has been made just get on with it. Thank goodness it backfired BTW.

01 Dec 2020 15:24:25
Nobody has told hibs yet Shh!

01 Dec 2020 15:53:55
It was the computer efriar that decided the fixture for the old firm tie nothing to do with Lawells influence. The same computer that lost the Dundee vote and it must have been the same computer used to notify hibs that their fixture was getting moved to a monday night. We all know how difficult computers can be at times so nothing to worry about. Just a small technical issue. I'm sure when they update Windows all will be fine. πŸ™„πŸ˜‚.

01 Dec 2020 15:57:06
Absolute rubbish we were never down to play Celtic earlier. Efriar
Also all moaning re hibs game being moved clearly within rules. Suits us, we just need to make sure we win on the sat, keep pressing them.

01 Dec 2020 16:08:45
erm ok lads but what i asked is what time our game with hibs today? anyone know?

01 Dec 2020 18:15:07
100% correct join.

01 Dec 2020 19:03:33
Yip John25 is bang on the money Efriar πŸ‘.

01 Dec 2020 19:04:11
Is there a new poster called join πŸ€”πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚.

01 Dec 2020 12:26:55
Read somewhere that we could go for Wijnaldum if we get champions league football, seriously how do some of these stories get published,

01 Dec 2020 18:18:24
Absolute no chance of that happening.

01 Dec 2020 12:23:11
New here

Just read that the only decent team we've played so far is benfica and they had half their team missing?

Firstly the 8 1st team players missing weren't all starters and 2 were goalkeepers, Otamndi is nowhere near their best players,

Rangers have beaten

Willem II
Galatasaray
Standard Liege
Open an
Celtic

And beaten them all yous have lost every pressure game yet

Ferenchvaros
Milan
Sparta Prague reserves twice
Rangers
Ross county

Benfica would destroy Celtic it's embarrassing that their slagging us for drawing with Benfica.

01 Dec 2020 13:49:28
Remember this was the same guy who was panty wetting over the Londonderry Dazzler. that says it all.

01 Dec 2020 14:19:33
Yes tonic we have been great in Europe under Gerrard and long may it continue. Hopefully on Thursday night he takes us into the knock out stages once again. The fact we drew both games with Benfica and being dissapointed with both results just shows how far we have come.

01 Dec 2020 14:20:26
Welcome aboard Twisted, πŸ‘

Yeah you'll find that most from the dark side like to belittle any of our opponents. 🀣🀣

It must make them feel better. πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈπŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

As if they've not got enough to worry about from their own team?
πŸ”΄βšͺπŸ”΅.

01 Dec 2020 15:19:21
Ignore these morons from the dark side. They harp back to 1967 when they won the European Cup when teams only had to play 4 games to reach the final. Nowadays, with much more competition, you are looking at a much tougher competition. I've never begrudged Celtic their 1967 European Cup win but there are so many very good teams nowadays. In the 1960s you only had Benfica, Inter Milan, AC Milan and Real Madrid. That was about it. Now you have the aforementioned plus Juventus, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Ajax, Liverpool, Man Utd, Chelsea, Seville, Valencia, Borussia Dortmund, Porto, PSG, etc. It's a different world now.

01 Dec 2020 16:04:49
You've forgot about Ferenvaros and Sparta Prague Doiger 🀣🀣
πŸ”΄βšͺπŸ”΅.

01 Dec 2020 20:54:34
Poznan was somehow changed to open an haha yeah it seems everyone we play there is some kind of excuse that makes us look weaker, to them anyway, they seem to forget that they played st mirren who never had a senior GK when they played them.

01 Dec 2020 12:17:35
Guys, I see Ed007 has posted a link to the annual food bank charity they collect for each year (well done Ed007 and the Celtic posters who contribute to such a worthy cause)
Is there any suggestions to a charity us Rangers posters can contribute to this year? If there is, can we organize something?
What's your thoughts?

01 Dec 2020 12:42:01
Yip I think that's a great idea BMGπŸ‘.

01 Dec 2020 13:22:19
Thanks Coldo!
Let's get some suggestions guys, the charities need our help more than ever with everything that's going on.
I've never organised anything like this before, and I really don't know where to start? If we can decide on a charity, can any of the Eds help or advise on what to do?
Thanks.

{Ed001's Note - I usually suggest one of a few dear to my heart.

St Johns Ambulance as my family have been involved with them for many, many years.

McMillan Nurses, who have been there for a few people I know and done brilliant work to help at a difficult time.

Claire's House, a children's hospice in Liverpool. My uncle broke a world record for joke telling to raise funds when it was being built and during the event I met Claire's dad, who was then just trying to get it built to honour his daughter's name, and spent most of a night talking to him about it. He was such a genuinely nice guy that just wanted to help others who were going through what he had gone through. I am sure there must be a local Glasgow or Scottish equivalent of it that you could choose to support.

The other is Alder Hey Children's Hospital, which is responsible for my cousin being here with us today. Again I am sure there must be a local equivalent you could donate to.}

01 Dec 2020 13:42:48
What about st. andrew's hospice airdrie πŸ€”.

01 Dec 2020 13:58:29
I think that it would be a good idea to donate to food banks and christmas toys appeal for kids, a lot of people have been financially affected by C.V., losing jobs etc. πŸ‘.

01 Dec 2020 14:00:18
Brilliant suggestion SGL! The way the guys looked after our own Fernando, and every other patient, deserves some recognition.
Well done mate!

01 Dec 2020 14:03:08
Thank you Ed001 for your input, as usual, you're always there to help and advise!
I really want this to happen, and If we can get some other posters I can organise this with, I'm sure we can sort something out?

{Ed001's Note - all you really need is a just giving page and then I will get Ed033 to post the link at the top of the page.}

01 Dec 2020 14:17:30
All charites are very worthwhile and do excellent work! Superb idea BMGH01 and doesn't matter which charity/ charities are chosen its the help and recognition we're providing is the main contributing factor here πŸ™.

01 Dec 2020 14:30:03
I think we are too late for toy donations Coldo, however, definitely something we could organise for next year. The food bank idea, just like Ed007's, is a good one at this time of the year as there will be plenty families struggling after Christmas.
If this is the one we go with, we could suggest a different food bank each year, If that sounds ok?

01 Dec 2020 14:39:03
BMGH01, the st. andrew's hospice is very close to my heart as i had a very good mate of mines cared for in this special unit, with special staff πŸ‘ŒMy mate was taken way too soon with cancer in his mid 30'sπŸ˜žπŸ™I'm sure all suggestions will mean something to the person who's suggesting it in the first place ❀️.

01 Dec 2020 14:54:27
SGL they are indeed a fantastic hospice mate.
Just because it's Christmas, and so many families struggling with everything that's going on, what about Glasgow south foodbank which is one that the Rangers charity foundation collect for themselves?
The guys there do a fantastic job, and I'm sure any donation would be welcome. What do you think?

01 Dec 2020 15:18:16
Like i said i'm more than happy to go with that particular charity mate, whichever charity is chosen i'll be delighted with πŸ‘You make a terrific point regarding the glasgow south foodbank BMGH01 πŸ‘ŒIt feels absolutely great to be of help at all to the more needy who haven't much πŸ™.

01 Dec 2020 15:22:10
Foodbank sounds perfect BMG.

01 Dec 2020 15:39:30
Ok guys, I have just spoke with a lady called Claire at Glasgow south west foodbank and she us getting their treasurer to call me and hopefully get this set up tonight.
Does that sound ok?

{Ed001's Note - well done mate.}

01 Dec 2020 16:28:47
Brilliant idea BMG.

01 Dec 2020 17:07:48
Thanks Ed001!
See when I set the page up mate, how do I get the link to the page over to Ed033? Do I just copy and paste it and post as normal?

{Ed033's Note - yes put the www.[domain/page etc.] link in a posting form as usual

Thanks Ed033.

Do we really care what's going on a parkhead at the moment our team is in a great position and can build on this success let's not forget the struggles and turmoil we had to endure in the last eight or so years yes for once it's great to gloat at our rivals but remember we're only as good as our last game only saying.

01 Dec 2020 13:06:04
Exactly my thoughts Bluerobb πŸ‘We should be concentrating on ourselves
f**k what's happening with them! Some on here have the audacity to call them obsessed πŸ€”mmmm.

01 Dec 2020 13:28:19
Well I enjoy a good laugh! And as long as the players concentrate on the league then it doesn't really matter if the supporters do? But each to there own, and I wouldn't class myself as obsessed.

01 Dec 2020 15:47:57
What's wrong with having a wee chuckle at the dark side? And usually on social media it's the east enders that love a few emojis so before you start on your own have a look at yourself coops mate and lighten up.

01 Dec 2020 11:10:12
So all those moronic thugs that decided to riot at porkhead on Sunday to force Lennon to quit have actually saved his job by their actions. You couldn't make it up.

01 Dec 2020 11:44:05
God bless the Gangrene Brigade 🀣🀣.

01 Dec 2020 14:56:24
Once the league is won we can laugh.

01 Dec 2020 10:01:12
All this readiness by some on here to highlight the meltdown and vitriol being heaped upon Lennon as exemplifying a night and day perspective about how we as Rangers supporters are different in how we conduct our affairs.

This notion of a band of bears who stand together in adversity.? well. we set a world record for attendance at a lower tier league football match (anywhere in the world! ) when we hit rock bottom which was great.

But I remember the vitriol directed by some on here towards Ally Mc Coist during his latter days as manager some even suggesting that he had forfeited his legendary status with the club because of his perceived managerial failings.

Also the level of vitriol being heaped upon Stevie G on this site after our Scottish Cup reverse v Hearts last season. you know who you are. but now all conveniently forgotten.

01 Dec 2020 10:30:52
Yes, I remember when some vented their anger towards Ally and Gerrard on here and other forums/ platforms (I was one of them), but I must have missed the protests outside Ibrox and our players cars being targeted because of the frustrations we were feeling? Oh, and was there ever any instance when our club felt the need to bulk up on security to protect our players fearing further attacks? No, there wasn't!
Different ball game all together mate, and an insult to fellow Rangers fans when your trying to draw parallels to what's happening at Celtic!

01 Dec 2020 10:43:55
I didn't see any Rangers fans launching barriers at the Police though?
And the Tim's have had 8 weeks of bad results - we've endured 8 long years to get back challenging for titles. Their obsession with stoping 55 is fuelling their rage with is embarrassing and cringe worthy for a team that has won 11 out of the past 11 trophies!
So if you think a few words on here is the same as the actions outside Celtic Park, then God help us!

01 Dec 2020 10:55:22
Agreed Arcadia, we need to bite our lip here (well some do! )
Also shouting about winning this and that, also needs tempered down.
At least wait till end of January.

01 Dec 2020 11:13:17
Correct Arcadia 72πŸ‘πŸ‘ where are the gerrard out campaigners now and you're spot on, they know who they are alright! πŸ€”.

01 Dec 2020 11:25:20
Although it isn't as bad etc but we did have fans try storm our player of the year awards a few years back. Its moronic whichever way you look at it tbh.

01 Dec 2020 11:47:17
SGL! How dare you and Arcadia liken what some say on here to the Celtic players being abused and attacked in person! Shame on you both!
Both of you owe your fellow Rangers fans an apology!

01 Dec 2020 12:11:36
Of course there is no equivalence to individuals 'sounding off' on a fan site. and public order offences outside Celtic Park.

Criticisms of competence of any manager are perfectly legitimate. football is a game of passions. but the criticism of particularly Ally Mc Coist by some Rangers supporters went over and beyond that . the point I was trying to make. 'vitriol' to attack verbally with malice.

01 Dec 2020 12:36:20
Unbelievable, remember those who wanted statues of mcparland built and in their honest opinion truly believed warbs would win us the title, oh no wait, in their honest opinion truly believed pedro would win us the title. Oh no wait in their honest opinion and truly believed billy davies was the man to win us 55, you know who you areπŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ Its football and fans will always vent their anger at players and managers when results are poor, particularly when we spend a fortune and then we chuck it after christmas two year in a row and dropping points left right and centre. Apart from the muppet I don't recall anyone else wanting rid of Gerrard? But there might have been more if last season was allowed to continue because we weren't looking likely to improve on losing at home to hamilton. πŸ‘.

01 Dec 2020 13:11:12
100% right coldo. Coops always acts thr high and mighty. Everybody else saw the warburton situation coming a mile off even in the championship, dome still had him winning a league and getting statues 🀣🀣 a few criticising gerrard for a poor run hardly equates to folk rioting and throwing barriers at police. Another pointless dig at other supporters.

01 Dec 2020 13:18:03
Coldo, if you look back over the piece pal, we've all said some corkers on here! BMGH01,my whole point and only point mate is some on here wanted us to be where we're close to now, YESTERDAY! It was always going 2 take time! Like yourself BMGH01,I've been following rangers for many years now and have seen a helluva lot like you undoubtedly have πŸ€”Thats all i was meaning buddy and yes i admit in a lot of occasions, i've been far too loyal to a lot of our manager's in the past, but that's just my way pal and i support anything rangers 'till the end πŸ‘The treatment of ally mccoist on here mate and the things he was called by fellow bears was absolutely shocking my friend and nothing will change my mind on that!
If i'm too loyal at times there's a helluva lot way too unloyal/ fickle at times!

01 Dec 2020 13:19:35
Coldo look back at some of your own posts pal and we know who you are πŸ€”
People in glass houses pal!

01 Dec 2020 13:29:55
It really gets on my t1t5 when people play the I'm a better fan than you or you're a tim etc when you have an opinion that doesn't suit the garden is all rosey agenda. We were poor domestically the last two years under gerrard, he was reluctant to change it tactically and refused to drop those who should have been. He also tinkered when he shouldn't have. So fans will have an opinion that's what makes us football fans. God forbid if we collapse again after christmas, then he'll be on here with a new name telling us next year that in his honest opinion he truly believes that the next manager will win us 55.πŸ‘.

01 Dec 2020 13:50:46
There's a lot of things on here and posters on here who get on my t**s coldo, don't worry about that. In gerrard's first 2 reasons YES we fell short and we all know when. But we made inroads and improvements each season and have again this season. I stated when he came to give him at least 3 season's before jumping on his back. This i believe is the season and gerrard will win the league as rangers manager and i said as much πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§.

01 Dec 2020 13:57:44
This I'm a more loyal fan than you stuff needs to stop!
My issue was having our loyal support lumped into a conversation on the diabolical behaviour of some (not all) Celtic supporters protesting outside parkhead.
If the topic is on the Celtic thugs, please refrain from bringing our support into the discussions and likening what goes on here, to what went on there.
Look, many have made mistakes, or been too loyal, or not shown enough loyalty, when it come to managers, boards, players etc, so can we please stop digging up the past on these matters and keep it relevant and up to date. For goodness sake, you would think we're the ones having a nightmare and about to implode the way we go on sometimes!
We are better than that!

01 Dec 2020 14:50:39
Must admit great post BMGH01 and i agree we all need to stop digging things up from the past and post/ discuss about the here and now πŸ‘We're going places under gerrard i feel and we should, IF it does indeed happen and we win no.55 all celebrate together, afterall we're all bears who want the very best for the greatest club on the planet, who we're all so very proud to support πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§ I admit i've been guilty of this and i can only speak for myself but i apologise to anyone i've offended over the piece. I can be too loyal at times and get carried away! We should all be together about where our club is heading right now and i believe its back to the top of scottish football, where the glasgow rangers belong 😁.

01 Dec 2020 09:40:26
I think we have seen in the past week that celtic fans could never have coped with what's been thrown at rangers fans the past 9 years, they can't even handle of months of it.

01 Dec 2020 08:26:33
The biggest danger to the continued success of any team is complacency. The classic example is the 1990 Scotland v England rugby grand slam game that England presumed they would win. Celtic are experiencing the perfect storm, complacency, poor signings, poor manager and now faced with a strong Rangers squad playing for each other, the manager and our history.

01 Dec 2020 09:23:56
Need to turn it into league titles though or it means nothing.

01 Dec 2020 09:33:22
We are in the perfect position to take advantage of their shortcomings.
Rangers have already built up a healthy lead, playing consistently well, scoring goals, not conceding many and are still undefeated in all competitions and it's now December.
Celtic on the other hand have been knocked out of 3 competitions. 🀣🀣🀣.

01 Dec 2020 09:43:36
My biggest fear is complacency from ourselves!
Right now Celtic are on their knees and there for the taking, and If we don't take advantage of this, there are no excuses! We are in top form, playing some scintillating football, scoring for fun, not conceding stupid goals, and everything looks great, however, If we take our eye off the ball, allow Celtic's plight to blind us into thinking the league's a given, then we only have ourselves to blame If it all goes t*@s up!
Do I think we'll blow it? Not a chance! But, I'm taking no chances, and I'm sure our manager is drilling this into the players every day.
It's great getting one, or several over the east end mob, and long may it continue. But, could we refrain from using the 55, and especially the mind the gap p@*h, as there's a long way to go.

01 Dec 2020 10:16:03
Correct Ferintosh, They have sleepwalked into it by thinking that we were so far behind them after our collapse last season, but thanks to our brilliant board and management team we have come back even stronger, we just need to keep our nerve and continue to do what we are doing, I remember Dave kings house of cards statement.

01 Dec 2020 10:38:22
Spot on there BMGHO1 my friend.

Let's hope Stevie is aware of that (sure he is tho) and reminds the squad of that.

01 Dec 2020 11:23:37
I'm certain he will Bluebilly.
Our management team will be on the ball with this and drilling it into every player.
When you smell blood you go in for the kill! It really is that simple!

01 Dec 2020 13:14:02
I think if they drop ANY more points before the next old firm and we pick up full points, the league is ours if we win that old firm.

01 Dec 2020 07:52:34
Does anybody know when katic will be returning to the first team.

Review Of The Day 1st December 2020

01 Dec 2020 07:39:05
{Ed's Note - Ed001 has posted a new article entitled, Review Of The Day 1st December 2020

01 Dec 2020 04:39:00
King said celtic would fold like dec of cards is looking like it just now.

01 Dec 2020 07:24:45
Dave King deserves as much credit a praise as Gerrard, built his statue the now.

01 Dec 2020 07:39:13
Agree, well done Dave King. We owe you big time πŸ‘πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§.

01 Dec 2020 09:20:16
Lets not forget the other 2 of the 3 bears who overturned the leeches/ charlatans like somer, lambias etc and started the long road back to where we sit now!
So a big thank you to dave king, paul murray and big john gilligan for stepping in to save the club the love so much and the club we all love so much πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘Thanks for giving us our club back and all 3 of you will always be remembered in this part of our history πŸ‘ You're loyalty and hard work will never be forgotten πŸ‘Œ.

01 Dec 2020 18:05:36
Dave king and the three bears,
Douglas Park, GeorgeLeatham and George Taylor.
Murray was a board member b4 king took over, Gilligan joined after three bears and king took over.

Cmon SGL basics.
