I heard the George Peat interview on bbc where he spilled the beans about receiving phone call from the chairman of fellow Scottish league club requesting we receive no special consideration over fixture pile up when reaching Euro final. My question is has anyone heard any comment or editorial from bbc scotland subsequent to the interview?

Either Halliday, Dorrans or possibly McCrorie need I play tomorrow with Jack not fit. Think Halliday will get the nod for the starting 11.

Dorrans is a good player who has played in the EPL league the majority of his career! Although I think he’s got a fight to get into the 11 a fully fit Dorrans will be a useful addition to the squad this season. Ask yourself this who would you rather have a fully fit Dorrans in your starting lineup or Halliday?

He was never fully fit and played out of position many times last year, not to mention the players around him were awful. He’ll be a better player with the likes of Arfield and Coulibaly beside him.

ive seen enough of dorrans in england to no he is a decent football player with a good football brain, a fully fit dorrans played in correct position would great for rangers full stop.

Stop knocking Halliday. He is a bluenose through and through and will die for the jersey. Dorrans, like Rossiter, is good but is rarely fit!

DOIGER, thousands of us would die for the jersey. Such hysterical statements do no good whatsoever. Halliday is merely a player who has come on a bit under Gerrard and makes a handy squad addition, nothing else. Not knocking him, not a 'hater' just telling it as it is.

Always felt Dorrans was played too deep under Pedro/ Murty, he is more of a no. 10 for me and will be effective in that role at SPL level if he is used there. I’d expect 10-15 goals from him if he stays fit this season.

Graham Dorrans has scored more Premier League goals than Jack, Ejaria, McCrorie, Arfield and Halliday combined, playing in a terrible team and he is deemed by some not to be good enough.

Andy Halliday at the start of the season was being hunted out by the vast majority of Rangers fans (me being one), now he is being hailed as a great squad player.

Some folk need to give themselves a shake. Gerrard's great man-management skills are there to be seen, now let's give Dorrans time to see if the Stevie G effect has rubbed off on him!

I disagree with all this rubbish about not bothering about our national team. I always want Scotland to win regardless of the team, though I do admit that Strachan was clearly biased against Rangers players. I'd always pick the in-form players at the time, not by reputation and on that basis Naismith, Robertson and McGregor would be the first three names on the team sheet.

Sorry Doiger, a used to be a Scottish fan as a kid 30 odd years ago but not now. After all that's gone against our club and years ago I used to respect Aitken, McStay and Nicholas but how can I support Broony and Griffiths in a Scotland strip when they clearly have issues with our club! 🇬🇧.

Of course they have issues with Rangers! They are modern day Celtic players, you would love them if they were in our team. These blokes will still drink their wine and that after the game but Old Firm has been full of players who hate the other club throughout the years. If we had people with the dig Broony has then maybe we wouldn't get pumped off them all the time.

I’ve supported rangers and Scotland since I was a boy won’t change now ye the hates been worse last few years but it’s always been there let them spout off hate I am what I am and I can understand why people won’t support them but I’m a proud Scot as well so everybody to their own.

This has nothing to do with my feelings as a Scot and everything to do with the way the SFA and the tartan persons have treated my club over a number of years - an organisation and a bunch of cretinous morons who would have partied long and hard if we had died. They treat us appallingly, their support sing hate songs about us (I have first hand experience of this) and they are in Celtic's back pocket. I now support my wee country in everything imaginable - except international football, even though it hurts me as someone who first saw Scotland playing 56 years ago.

I don’t know how any Rangers fan can support Scotland when players like Griffiths and brown played for them. 2 guys who don’t hide their hatred for our club. I used to never miss a game at Hampden but no more it will be a cold day in hell before I cheer the likes of Griffiths.

Arthur D you need to grow up. I remember Scotland teams with McGrain, McNeil and Jimmy Johnstone, all great players. When you play for Scotland the club jersey should be left in the dressing room. Club rivalry like the Old Firm is fantastic bu we must show the good grace to admit when other players are good. In the present celtic team only Tierney and Gordon are international class, imo.

Yately well said Big billy McNeil and Danny McGrain must be totally ashamed if those two . Even frank McAvennie and Nicholas I have respect for . but wiping your nose on an opposing teams colours . abusing an opposing teams directors and inciting a riot in the name of your club. no thanks . I kn Souness did similar with galatasary . but on your I envy doorstep. those two are nothing but neds. and totally deserve the karma.
