Think folk are being very harsh on Morelos. He was brought in as a young up and coming striker and had to shoulder a lot of responsibility this past season due to millers injury and lack of form and the 2 Mexican being rubbish. I would like him to stay and develop with the full support of the fans and a lot more support in terms of other strikers.

20 May 2018 00:44:41
I think we should give him a chance as I stated before as long as his attitude improves. Comes across as petulant but he is young. I think in a front 2 or with someone who works harder than windass in no10 role he could flourish

20 May 2018 07:26:48
He can only be giving a chance if he’s willing to learn and changes his attitude. If not then let him go and move on. He’s nowhere near the level he seams to think he’s at and would struggle in most top leagues.

Its a sad day for scottish football when 1 team can win back to back trebles. The blame doesn't just lay with Rangers football club. Its all clubs that allowed this to become a 1 horse race. Thankfully Rangers are working hard to improve the fortunes of scottish football and hence the tv money from bt / sky by hiring a high profile manager and building what looks like a team of winners! let's go next stop 55.

20 May 2018 03:02:58
Gonna stop going on about TV money current deal has 2 years to run.

Cut the nonsense, get the chip off your shoulder and let's see how Stevie does!?

If some of the names being banded about Ibrox are true it should be a really exciting season

20 May 2018 12:17:51
Don't understand the issue of back to back trebles. If wasn't for rubbish defending we would have done 16 years ago.

19 May 2018 19:49:11
It's been evident for a long time that we need a full new spine of the team, Mcgregor is a great start. Experienced, commanding and vocal and will earn us points next season with viral saves, I'm sure of it. Also, is there a better candidate for captain? If we can sign Skrtel that would be great, at 33 he'll not be the quickest but his experience, positioning and game awareness will be above any player currently playing in Scotland in that position. A John Soutar would be a great partner for the more experienced Skrtel imo. If, and its a massive if, Rossiter can stay fit it'll be like a new player, it'll be be interesting to see who Gerrard uses as a defensive midfielder as I think McCrorie is excellent in that position too, perhaps Rossiter can play more advanced. The jury is still out on Jack and Docherty for me, Jack has had some decent games but his discipline has been shocking. Docherty will hopefully develop under Stevie G. I've been disappointed with Dorrans and to be honest if we got a decent offer for him I would take it as we have an abundance of central midfielders. Murphy and Arfield are two good options left, can see Arfield starting ahead of Murphy but sure Murphy could also play right sided to rotate and compete with Candieas. Can't see Cummings being our main focal point so again it'll be interesting to see if Stevie G goes with a lone striker or partnership. For me, Morelos is far too selfish and not capable of playing in a partnership whereas Cummings can't play that lone striker role as he doesn't do nearly enough off the ball so the manager has a dilemma in terms of striking personal imo. If we got Defoe and/ or Solankie it would be amazing as with them, Cummings and Morelos we'd have adequate options in attack.

I genuinely don't think we need anywhere near the turnaround of player some have been mentioning. Trim the squad of players yes but a few key signings in key areas and good coaching as Rodgers did at Celtic when he inherited Delias team. and who knows.

Very exciting time to be a Rangers fan.

19 May 2018 20:46:51
Saying Arfield left correct me if I am wrong but is Arfield not an attacking centre mid

19 May 2018 21:17:22
jm. agreed. lots of good points. the defence is the main problem in the team. we need a strong physical presence skrtel would be a good start takes no prisoners and the type of player we need. painful to watch the manky mob today and to me reinforces the need for sg to completely overhaul the entire squad through time and bring on the younger players like mcrorie. 2nd place is simply not good enough and we have the right man with the right wimning mentality and connections to take us back to no1
bring on next season as this season has been full of failures who won't hopefully be there next season.

19 May 2018 21:28:05
Celtic have been playing well within themselves for most of the season. Don't expect them to stand still.

20 May 2018 00:24:35
He's been a left sided midfielder for Burnley anytime I've seen him mate.
Surely there has to be some youngsters who can come on next season too Stevie eh? Barjonas has been in and around the first team, Beerman too. The under 19s have been doing well against top opposition this season so there must be some players with potential there.

It's getting the mix of experience which we have with Mcgregor, Arfield, Wallace (if he has a future) and potentially Skrtel. Jack to a certain extent and Murphy too who has played at a good level for the majority of his days. Defiantly need an experienced goal scorer and as I've said before Skrtel would be an ideal signing at centre half

19 May 2018 14:25:47
I see there is rumours in the press about buffalo going to turkey! Did he not come to us after playing full season in Finland with no break, I think it would be a mistake to let him go as he was probally burnt out towards the end of season and given a proper rest b4 next season his form would be a lot better!

19 May 2018 14:35:08
His form dipped when we went with 1 up top as well. I agree he should be given a chance but only if his attitude improves

19 May 2018 15:21:00
Let him go attitude stinks obvious doesn't want to be here I'll never forgive him for that miss against timco

19 May 2018 15:44:26
Got to keep him unless big money comes inwhy on earth would we loan him like they are saying that would be great if he does well then they will want him permanent and we can demand a little more money but if he does not do that well his value will decrease even more so unless we get decent money for him now I think we should keep him as think we will be a all round better side next season and he could do well and we can get better money for him next Season like him or not he is one of are biggest assets.

19 May 2018 16:01:41
Cash in now for Morelos- 11 million. LOL!

19 May 2018 17:16:50
I would sell morellos. However with reply to you above deanobear. I'm sure any loan deal could have an agreed buy out clause. Hence why Pena got sacked and not released from his loan.

19 May 2018 17:52:46
Yeah I think it’s time Morelos moved on and £4 million would be about right. Few guys going on about his attitude and I have to agree! 🇬🇧

19 May 2018 18:16:58
Realistically don't think Morelos is as big Money as some people are guessing. 5m offer and he's off.

19 May 2018 19:44:44
Has been in a huff since he found out there was no 11million bid from China. Sorry bears but that is the truth of the matter.

19 May 2018 20:50:15
Gods 11 that's a little harsh.

19 May 2018 21:21:04
i will drive the whole current squad to their next destinations including morelos. Simply not good enough to carry the jersey. The next destination for most should be the job centre as most will struggle to find a half decent team willing to take them.

20 May 2018 10:30:19
I can understand why some on here don't rate Morelos, since January he's been poor but I don't understand how the folk wanting rid of him expect to get £4-5m for him? The chances are we as a club will not sign anybody for £4-5m this summer.

20 May 2018 10:31:26
Give yourself a shake steviec. That's some havers your speaking

19 May 2018 12:49:45
Wouldn't it be great to get a big signing and the Tim's lost today, it is all about the rangers. We will be some much stronger next season.

19 May 2018 14:23:48
I would love Hibs not to get into europe

19 May 2018 18:38:29
Sorry to p**s on your chips boys. Double treble and a triple treble on its way. Hail hail

19 May 2018 19:03:51
What you doing on a rangers site the day you won the treble😂😂 you really are obsessed

19 May 2018 22:24:41
The same johnnymac55 who stated the time and date that steven gerrard was saying no to the rangers manager's job eh!

19 May 2018 23:20:44
Johnny Mac, his team has just one a double treble and he’s on a Rangers site? You couldn’t make it up!
I have the same problem with Tims at work! They can’t stop talking about our club and Stevie G. 😭😜🇬🇧🇬🇧

20 May 2018 06:16:33
The same supercooper that compared McKay to Hazard

The same supercooper that was ahead of the curve with New Balance becoming new sponsor

The same supercooper that wanted to offer Murty a 3 year deal

The same supercooper that thought Barton, Pena, Alves, Murphy ect were a class above anything in the SPFL?

At least you got O'Halleron right 🤣🤣🤣

20 May 2018 06:49:59
You certainly take a great interest in me tompo88!Doesn't surprise me however as you most certainly are the most obsessed fans on the planet, when it comes to glasgow rangers! You and many like you are "GLASGOW RANGERS STALKERS"!

20 May 2018 08:48:36
I Coop, Tompo certainly has a chip on his shoulder!
Without guys like yourself this site wouldn’t be the same!
Let’s look forward to new season with Stevie G and I am so proud to call him our Manger🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

19 May 2018 11:58:06
We should sell Foderingham and Alnwick.

That should free up around £15-£20k in wages per week.

That's a decent amount to attract a really good player up.

McGregor number 1 and you Liam Kelly stepping in as number 2.

He's had a few loan spells and been involved with the first team for a few years.

Ita about time he's been given a chance similar to McGregor the first time around.

And who else better could he learn from other than Allan McGregor himself.

19 May 2018 14:24:57
Id keep Alnwick he's only 24

19 May 2018 21:12:58
Liam Kelly is off. Frustrated at lack of opportunities under Warburton, Pedro and Murty. Disillusioned and won't be here next season. Guarantee it.

20 May 2018 00:14:04
We have robbie McCrorrie out on loan playing regular I think. Read all him as no 2 and have the 2 brothers in the match day squad

19 May 2018 10:19:21
Considering we have been linked with just about every former teammate of the gaffers I’m surprised that there’s been no mention of Steven Caulker given how well he has Performed since his arrival at Dundee. Surely he’s an improvement on Martin and co?

19 May 2018 10:52:24
Heard he's away to replace Boyata at the tims

19 May 2018 11:03:16
I agree Broxi17 He's an English international and can get him at a snip He'd be worth a punt for sure given that other we have been linked with don't have a c. v. of his calibre yet would cost us an arm and leg!

He has had issues but so did Gazza and he was class!
Scotland is a good place for Caulker to play his football and I'm sure there are sound people that would keep him grounded!

19 May 2018 11:44:44
I heard from a Tim who has a son playing at Dundee that caulker went to Dundee to prove himself before making a move to Celtic all part of the deal between Dundee and the unwashed at the time with Bain

I don’t think he would come to us.

19 May 2018 15:45:55
Did Dundee not turn down 2million for him from Rosenberg?

19 May 2018 10:02:14
well lads i'm claret and amber for 1 day only c'mon the motherwell kick lumps out the mhankies and sneek a winner make my weekend.

19 May 2018 11:40:02
Aye I'll be cheering on that thug Cedric Kipre and his team mates today myself. Must have some kind of chance and to be fair will likely give them a better game than we would have.

19 May 2018 14:27:23
Biggest game most of these Motherwell players will ever play in. Hopefully Celtic turn up thinking they've already won it with one eye on the beach. Certainly wouldn't write Motherwell off

19 May 2018 09:14:57
Lots of big names being flung about for loan deals, these guys have even bigger wages. What do we think our top line weekly wage is? 25k? 30k? For me it's no more than the 30k and that's a serious push. Is the old pals act and the chance of silverware a serious enough lure for some of these guys?

19 May 2018 10:59:58
Let's hope so James because that's all we can offer!

19 May 2018 12:28:52
This really is a make or break season for us, that’s how we are trying to sign the likes of skertl and why Stevie Gerrard is here to try and attract the bigger names make no mistake we are going for the title next season hopefully it all goes to plan as another topsy turvy season like the last 2 could see us in the rubbish again, As this will be the biggest gamble of them all especially if they will be backing him with the serious money that we all think

19 May 2018 13:21:21
I’d be cautious with our expectations of Stevie G season 1. While a title challenge would be fantastic I think we should be looking to improve our results and points tally. I’d be looking at 80-90 points this season and that would make us challengers potentially.

20 May 2018 00:18:16
Then go for 55 season 19/ 20 stop 9 in a row

19 May 2018 08:25:22
Lunch last night? 🤪, dinner at night crouch ain't happening ether, let's get behind the GERRRRRAD show 55⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, the guy has a great bit of swag about him love his confidence.

Review Of The Day 19th May 2018

19 May 2018 08:01:59
{Ed's Note - Ed001 has posted a new article entitled, Review Of The Day 19th May 2018

19 May 2018 06:07:22
Through *

19 May 2018 06:07:12
Where do we reckon Scott Arfield will line up next year? Is he best on the wing or throw the middle?

19 May 2018 07:40:55
Attacking mid. Windass almost certain to be away. Arfield not a winger

19 May 2018 08:06:26
Does Arfield mean Docherty is now no longer required?

19 May 2018 08:13:55
Not on my count DEEB! Greg docherty will be a smashing signing for us! He'll excel under his hero steven gerrard! I always wanted rangers to sign doch, for around almost 2 years now! He'll be a top midfielder for us and a future glasgow rangers captain in my eyes!

19 May 2018 09:24:30
In my opinion docherty has been poor. And will be behind rossiter jack and mccrorie in the pecking order

19 May 2018 16:46:03
Think Docherty is a gem that SG can hopefully turn into a diamond. Agree he has future armband potential. IMHO only quality signing made by Murty.

19 May 2018 00:23:43
Would love Defoe to be paraded in blue just to make a statement to them and of course score the goals to stop 8 in a row.

19 May 2018 01:35:58
I'd take him at celtic. I've always been a fan. Imo one of the most underrated English strikers, he should of had a lot more caps. I'll be fair and say this may be a squirrel. Cash may be king in this deal and I don't mean Davie. Don't kid yourself and i'm sure you aren't. He is a good pro and the dough he will be offered to play anywhere else will dwarf anything any club in Scotland can offer.

If he is pals with g fair enough and would be a cracking signing on a free make no mistake. On the same note skrtle? I'm a Tim but have none of you had a 2nd thought about what this deal is? Big wage 3/ 4m buy out with no resale value? There must be a few 22/ 28yrolds out there that could play a bit and make money further down the line? Not a piss take but a genuine question

19 May 2018 07:00:09
rglen Skrtle is STILL some player and by all accounts had a great season this year. We at Ibrox are football fans, not like you lot from the eastend who are all lawyers and accountants, and sell on value means nothing to us as long as you're doing the business on the park. He and all the other signings will be coming to Ibrox for one reason and one reason only, not to get their value up. I can see why you're worried though and felt the need to talk down a potential signing.

19 May 2018 07:52:58
Agree rglen we need young players sell on few years same as van dijk dumbelle tierney that the smell. tic cash in on

19 May 2018 08:17:53
tryankian, worst attempt at trolling ever.

19 May 2018 08:22:58
I also agree with rglen, some of us are actually interested in the financial side, can’t afford this season to go wrong or we could be stuck with over aged players on a decent wage!
Need some players with sell on value!

19 May 2018 08:43:33
rglen I can't disagree with your post however Celtic are at a level where you can take a few chances on players. We are not. We need to be where you are and I mean success wise. We need to win a title to have a shot at CL to make money. then we can take a rough diamond and try and sell him on.

19 May 2018 08:54:03
Buying players just to sell them means you will only ever stand still, if we get a good team together next season, with young players, are you seriously saying that the right and sensible thing to do would be to sell them for profit and buy again? When we buy any player, no matter what age he is, then the question should be what's this player going to add to Rangers not how much do you think we can get for him.

19 May 2018 11:08:12
We've had some great veteran players come up here nd do really well and everytime we signed one of them the Celtic fans were all out laughing at bus saying they've past it. Davie Weir, Frank de Boer, Christian Daily, Carlos Bocanegra, Claudio Cannigia, Henning Berg to name a few. Players like this mixed with younger players is a winning formula

18 May 2018 23:40:30
hi fellow bears costs aside who would we keep as in staff? Jj? Peter lovenkrands? Jimmy nicholl? Development coach? Had a few can't remember his name. End of the day its stevie g's call but interested to know what we think?

19 May 2018 00:52:05
Gregory Vignal the one you coat remember?

19 May 2018 01:14:03
None of them should be near first team JJ sat on the sidelines at games and showed no spirit I would keep lovenkrands and kev Thompson but we need tae get rid of the dross

19 May 2018 03:21:13
Wouldn’t have Nicholl anywhere near any Rangers side. Astonishing that he kept picking Martin who has to be one of the worst defenders at Ibrox in recent years. Far worse than Cribsri, Perry and Faure
