How would we feel about Ryan Gauld signing for next season? Surely Pedro's links with sporting could get him on a long term loan like Roberts at Celtic if we couldn't sign him permanently?

20 May 2017 01:04:01
The roumers of him are more boring than jason Cummings ones both won't happen!

20 May 2017 07:46:56
To be fair I haven't seen any rumours of Ryan Gauld. Just expressing a footballing opinion of the team I love and support. Forgot its forbidden to have an opinion on here without being shot down.

20 May 2017 08:37:08
I heard they were looking to sell mate rather than loan great player though

20 May 2017 11:55:27
How much would they realistically get for him. Don't think he has played much if at all for the first team. Think he would be a great signing but doubt it will happen

21 May 2017 17:43:37
I'd give gauld a chance.

21 May 2017 17:52:54
Sporting Lisbon made a mistake signing him! Never made their squad with years to improve and I don't see clubs queuing up to sign him! Another overrated youngster that made the wrong decision! Not worth paying the fee they'll be expecting imo

19 May 2017 22:22:02
Isn't 12/ 13 million lowballing our season ticket - squad wages funds?

Just guesswork here but let's say our players on average 8000 per week high estimate. 8000×56×23 =10,304,000

Now let's say average season ticket is 400 low estimate so 400 × 43000 =17,200,000

This means at the very least we would have 7million to spend on transfers, by trimming the squad and gaining some transfer fees this could even be increased. Thoughts?

According to tabloids our average player salary is 316,000, so × 23= 7,268,000 so you can see this is 3million under my high estimate. don't understand where the 12/ 13million figure arrived from.

19 May 2017 23:32:57
You need to factor in concessions and juvenile tickets. Together they vastly drop the income you are estimating. A kids season ticket is £150 so £250 short for every one. Plus all the auld yins at the game get theirs reduced too.

20 May 2017 01:28:38
I was tryinging to factor in but I know some are over that figure too trouble is I don't know the ratio. Either way, still seems like they have it a little low to me, I may be wrong

20 May 2017 07:56:50
I'm just worried next season is going to consist of 56 weeks in the year! They must be giving us and extra four weeks to play catch up!

20 May 2017 07:57:23
There's only 52 weeks in a year .

20 May 2017 11:30:44
Haha that's twice I've made that mistake lately. Can someone bring me my loose marbles please?

19 May 2017 21:53:18
Really like that LB from Falkirk Luke Leahy. Everytime I watch him he really impresses me, up and down the park for 90mins and only 24 years old. Thoughts!?

20 May 2017 01:07:37
Only 24 lol do you not think if he was to make it he would of done something by. Now? Were he been all these years? nothing in this silly statement!

{Ed001's Note - at 21 N'Golo Kante was still in full time education playing in the 9th tier in France. He was 22 before he even signed his first full time pro contract. I think he was about 24 before he got a move to the top flight in France. People mature at different rates. Look at Jamie Vardy, he was mid-20s before he reached the full time pro ranks as well.}

20 May 2017 07:01:10
Deanobear, define making it then? So your telling me then the fact the lad only plays for Falkirk means he's not a good player!? At 24 he's not even hit his prime yet, when I've seen him play he's consistently bombing up and down the left wing, has pace, can defend as well as attack, can deliver a decent ball into the box also and has all the attributes to be a cracking player for a bigger club than Falkirk, so let's not knock the boy for only playing for them. Not many players get to play for massive clubs in their careers, For me the fullback/ wingback areas for Rangers are a problem so we'd do a lot worse than taken a punt on this guy as I'd imagine he wouldn't cost us much, this is just my opinion.!

20 May 2017 08:01:13
Andrew Robertson only played for Queens Park and he's done alright for himself.

20 May 2017 08:42:57
Falkirk have a fantastic youth and scouting network, they really seem to get gems all the time, it keeps them afloat by selling them, i like the player aswell suprised sibbald is still there and thought we should of taking vaulks last season, well worth keeping an eye on. I now live in falkirk and the work they put in to include schools and youth teams male and female is incredible also using the sport science at stirling uni which is highly thought of throughout the uk

20 May 2017 14:50:46
Davie Weir was 22 when he signed his first pro contract at Falkirk. Spent 4 years playing college football in the states.

21 May 2017 17:40:46
Can't say I know much about the Falkirk left back. Would take Shinnie though. Great engine and good for a goal.

19 May 2017 20:47:07
Massive changes in the team for next season Pedro to get the players he wants and needs 2 challenge Celtic next season plus more investment in January!

19 May 2017 20:45:18
I hope naismith doesn't come to rangers let him rot in the epl or whatever he's doing don't forget that press conference he did DON'T SIGN NAISMITH LITTLE FUXK HE IS .

19 May 2017 20:56:35
Bet you said the same about kenny miller after he played for celtic. How you feel about him now?

19 May 2017 21:48:23
Rangers18712 - WTF?

19 May 2017 22:46:16
Someone's on the shandy

20 May 2017 00:10:45
Couldn't agree not only did he desert but had the cheek to declare the club dead and had no loyalty towards it. This was after the club helped him through 2 serious injuries

21 May 2017 17:35:39
Totally agree love Kenny 100% every game Naismith would give the same

21 May 2017 17:38:26
I said same about miller and still do never cheered a goal he scored yet

19 May 2017 18:35:58
Ryan jack is a proper addition to the squad. He knows the league and is better than we have so yes please. Weiss if true also yes please as he knows what it takes and is miles better than what we also have. But I am afraid to say a striker and proper central defender is also on our list and hope we sign quality and not the guff of recent.

19 May 2017 20:19:22
Dont get why everyone is getting excited about Ryan jack. lol

19 May 2017 21:31:01
I'm not getting excited about Ryan Jack either. Think we made Aberdeen as well as hearts look good. Don Cowie looked better than Ryan Jack

20 May 2017 03:17:18
Ryan Jack is a good start, a lot more reliable than Halliday, would be quite happy with that start to the summer

20 May 2017 11:11:41
There's nothing Av seen that makes me go wow rangers should sign him.

20 May 2017 11:57:44
caw2

Totally agree. He is better than Halliday however that isn't exactly a barometer of quality. To me its a signing aimed at closing the gap on Aberdeen rather than Celtic

21 May 2017 17:31:23
You forgot to mention alves what a signing that would be

21 May 2017 17:34:34
That'll be alves then. And Heneghan and Sumaila

19 May 2017 17:59:41
New strip came to my thoughts there. Anyone heard of what's happening with our new one yet? If any.

19 May 2017 18:20:57
Need a team to put in the strips first lol

19 May 2017 19:15:33
Yeah would be nice to see the strip we won't be buying

19 May 2017 20:34:26
Still can't understand why a fans group hasn't come out with something! Obvs can't have crest on it as we know but a couple of tops in our club colours! Something the supporters could buy and the cash donated to club funds! Surely that wouldn't break merchendise deal! The club wouldn't be selling it and the profits would be the donated to club so they are retailing it!?

19 May 2017 21:49:16
I won't be buying it anyhow. rathet burn my pounds than give it to fat cashley

19 May 2017 21:54:35
I'd rather pull all my eyelashes out than give the slug any of my hard earned.

19 May 2017 16:59:44
Hello fellow bears think the gers should go for the following see what you guys think. Jack (free) aberdeen. McLean (whatever it takes) aberdeen. Can't believe am going to say these guys but think we need to Naismith (free) Whitaker (free) Lafferty (free) all Norwich. Patterson (free) Hearts. Try get back Adam (free) Stoke. Get the big man Albee too. That would be a start cause wee need a clear out.

19 May 2017 17:11:23
No to Adam laf or whittaker

19 May 2017 17:57:09
A definite no to Lafferty and I don't think that Whittaker is any better defensively than what we have! We need to set our sets higher than this pair. If we have funds available for decent wages then we should be looking outside the UK for replacements for the current bunch

19 May 2017 15:59:39
Vladimir Weiss hinting on his personal twitter feed about 'maybe coming back'.

19 May 2017 17:07:43
Wouldn't like it if one of our players was tweeting this while still under contract

19 May 2017 17:23:20
I would love it if it was keirnan, forester, Halliday or o halloran 😬, bawbag

19 May 2017 17:58:24
I see that it has been suggested in one of the newspapers that Warburton will go for Kiernan, if that is true then we should do a deal to buy one get one free and let him have Halliday as well!

19 May 2017 18:29:54
Get quite excited by the players we are being linked with but I wouldn't have laff, Whittaker or Adam back, I just don't think it's a path we should be going down. they can hardly get a game for their clubs now so how are they good enough to play for rangers?

21 May 2017 16:24:56
Fingers crossed he's matured as a player

19 May 2017 15:30:22
I just want to say that even though he can be a bomb scare at times I think Wes Fod has had a great season and saved us from a few more drubbings than we've already had. Hope he survives the cull.

19 May 2017 16:33:07
Good shot stopper but he's a bit hesitant with his distribution and didn't help the young guy aiden wilson on his debute by coming for the ball a few times. he's still young in terms of a goalie so with the right coaching could be class.

19 May 2017 17:59:43
I reckon that he is improving and will benefit from the new goalkeeper coach. He needs to command his penalty box and make every ball inside the six yard box his!

19 May 2017 14:31:55
Derek Mcinnes confirms that Ryan Jack will be leaving Aberdeen at the end of the season - Also says there has been no official approach for him. Sorry but how would McInnes know if anyone was close to striking a deal with Ryan Jack and his Agent?

19 May 2017 15:48:44
I read that too a few minutes ago. Looks like he is Ibrox-bound

19 May 2017 15:54:22
Because Rangers or any other club who would like his services would have to inform Aberdeen of any approach they're going to make as he's still under contract. that's how he'd know, and that's how it works.!

19 May 2017 16:00:48
For a 24 year old with 1 month left on his contract no they would not need to inform aberdeen of an approach. We could purely to be nice but we don't need to do that at all.

21 May 2017 16:21:34
Jack free to talk to anyone since jan going into last 6 month of contract that is why players sign pre contracts

19 May 2017 17:32:04
He's obviously off to the gers for him to have a dig at pedro snapping peds as taking his captain

19 May 2017 13:37:14
I can confirm there is interest in Messi Pedro admitted jokingly or not 😂😂😂😂😂.

19 May 2017 16:19:36
Don't think he's good enough better sticking with what we have

19 May 2017 12:51:15
Right, here we go, would anyone on here really trust pedro with our budget considering its one of the most important in our history? We have a manager that has NO tactics what so ever and has put out a shapeless team in every game he's been in charge of, look at all of our games under him we have been a shambles even in the games we won. if I hear one more post saying we have to give him time I'll scream, why does he need more time, its plain to see he's not what we need right now. He basically played ce@&ic and the sheep without much of a midfield and in the four games got away with it once, just. We need someone who knows Scottish football not some experiment that might or might work and we need him now.

19 May 2017 13:08:35
Think about it this was jyf, Pedro as chopped and changed most of his team selections, why? He is assessing his squad in depth. He isn't going to go with the same 11 every week when he needs to do an overhaul.

19 May 2017 13:12:42
He's had like 10 games with a rubbish team. All he is trying to do just now is figure out what tactics work up here and where the players best fit. Yeah it hasn't worked every time but at least give him a chance to get some players in and get rid of the dead wood! I hate seeing post from people just like you who say that if someone doesn't step in and win every game 10-0 from day one then they should be sacked! GIVE HIM TIME!

19 May 2017 13:21:21
The unfortunate thing is we are Rangers, and some fans seem to have forgot what we have went through recently. We almost completely went under as a club, people seem to forget that. Some many of the fans live in this dream world that one day we will have Gazza's and Laudrups running around again.

19 May 2017 13:43:17
onlyashadow

You're spot on. A lot of fans do seem to think that were going to have these types of players running around again. Dave King does himself no favours with rash statements of £30M warchests, but it's the gullible fans that will believe all that he says. Rangers will returnt to being the premiewr club in Scotland. It's enevitable and a matter of time. It is a cyclical process. Do you think dhims would have thought 20years ago that they would be the premier club now. No!

All seems rosy in Brendan's garden at the moment. But with success there always comes failure. Celtic have had access to the champions league for 4 years while we were gestating in the doldrums. They have banked a credible amount of cash in that time, however they could have banked more had they gained succefull entry for all of those four year. They didn't. There is no guarantee that they will gain entry this year either. All this talk of Dembele's going for £40M or Tierneys going for £20M is rubbish backed up by a MSM that's under Lawell's wing. it used to by David Murrays. don't be drawn in by it because the more we talk about it or identify it, you're paying homage to the greatness of Celtic and doing their PR work for them. No SPFL based player will ever be sold for more than £15M max. We're the bargain basement for the bug boys. Only chance we have of exceeding £20M is sell on fees. Please see Van Dyke.

Celtic have been made to look world beaters in a poor league with little or no competition to them. That won't continue for ever. Pedro should be given two transfer windows to assemble his team. Bruno Alves and Ryan Jack are a pretty good start don't you think?

Warburtons players were brought in and covered in cotton wool. Warburton so deeply entrenched in respect would never have given them the hairdryer treatment. Warbuton leaves and in comes Pedro, a disciplinarian and these players act defiant and don't but into his training or methodologies. This leads us on to where we are and the need for new players, ones playing for Pedro. It'll happen…judge next year and keep the faith. The guy won the mexican league in the first year. that's not bad!

19 May 2017 13:44:25
We can't still have Bruno Alves and other good players though.

19 May 2017 14:04:29
Alright blue, by far the most sensible post I've read in a while on here 👏

19 May 2017 14:43:37
@jyf - I think you are the joke. Pedro has quite rightly used these games to assess the squad including some of the youths. So who would you trust with it and would you only give that person 10 games as well? If you are going to reply with a ' Rangers Man ' don't bother.

19 May 2017 15:00:03
You don't win the Mexican top league with 'no tactics whatsoever'.

Just saying.

Others have hit the nail on the head, squad assessment.

20 May 2017 10:39:22
just2see I don't care about the mexican league I've see his ten games he's been in charge of the Rangers and our team is all over the place we played ce&*ic twice in a week and he learned nothing from the first humbling in fact when we were taking a hiding in the second game he done nothing to shore us up, every Gers fan at Ibrox knew who was pulling the strings and he again done nothing, this manager offers nothing.

19 May 2017 11:58:52
Just wondering about the players we are looking to shift, I'm sure we all know the names, does anyone seriously think the Breadman will come banging on our door for those players he brought to the club. I'm not so sure if he will. So my question to him would be, did you think they were the answers to our player requirements or was there some other reason they were signed Mr Warburton?

19 May 2017 12:04:17
I reckon he will come chapping for Waghorn, Tav, Wallace and Foderingham. The players Warburton brought in suited him and his methods (arm around the shoulder, never say anything bad about them type of players)

19 May 2017 12:22:30
No! They are not good enough for the Scottish PL so why would they be good enough for the Championship? It will not happen. Also don't see why we'd get rid of Fod as he's a decent keeper. Can't afford a better one imo.

19 May 2017 13:09:17
I would imagine he would get a decent budget and would be looking for better than what we have.

19 May 2017 15:19:22
I don't think he will come in for any of them maybe mackay or tav but I don't think so.

19 May 2017 15:22:28
Forest are being taken over. What makes you think Warburton will be in a job much longer?

19 May 2017 17:22:24
i take it back. Apparently the new guy was involved in appointing Warburton.

19 May 2017 18:06:50
He is rumoured to be interested in Kiernan. (I did check and it was not April 1st)!

21 May 2017 12:01:13
what he could afford was bought in and i think he will try come for at least tav but i'd tell him where to go

21 May 2017 13:19:31
Hopefully he is not getting wallace and mckay he can take the rest i will even drive them all down to nottingham for free

19 May 2017 11:47:38
If the Bruno Alves signing materialises I think another 1st choice CB is even more essential! Even 8 years ago I though he was extremely immobile and unless we get a quick CB we will be extremely exploitable at the back. Bates and Wilson both seem pretty slow imo.

19 May 2017 11:54:11
I do agree we need a young and pacey centreback to cover for him. Pitty we know nothing about Rashid.

19 May 2017 12:09:07
We know it's the bosses godson 😂😂😂😂

19 May 2017 15:22:07
I think we need a good strong experienced centre back alongside a younger one with strength and pace so signing alves we will be half way there and I do think that's what Pedro is going for hence the interest in the Ghanaian boy aswell.

21 May 2017 12:05:00
been saying for a while what do u think of trying to get kyle bartley fast strong and clever player and wouldn't cost more than 1 million i wouldn't think.

19 May 2017 10:46:37
I like the prospect of Alves alongside Danny Wilson in the centre of defence. If we can get Dorrans and Jack in the middle plus a good goalscorer that would be a big improvement. With a spine built on Foderingham (Great shotstopper), Alves, Rossiter/ Jack and a new striker I'd be happy.

19 May 2017 12:24:10
As I've posted I'd be very concerned about the mobility of them as a pairing! Wilson is slow and Alves is slower.

19 May 2017 12:35:29
Agree with most of your comment doiger apart from the foderingham being a great shotstopper he struggles even when shot right at him like in the old firm and too much of a pussy to come out command his box at set pieces i'd like to see the sub alnwick get a shot can't be any worse Imo

19 May 2017 12:55:57
Cheers Rabski. I still think Fod is a decent goalie, not the best we've ever had by a long way but how do we sign a better keeper and who from and for how much? Also, who could be the new striker we could bring in? I'd hold on to Garner as he can score goals if played in the right position. Think I'll try a double on Hearts and Aberdeen in the next two games against the celtic mob to cheer myself up if they win!

19 May 2017 13:13:02
Need a bit more mobility and speed at centre half than those 2. Would like to see Alves come however we need a quicker centre half alongside him. Also feel we need a right back, 2 central midfielders, 2 strikers and another wide player.

19 May 2017 15:23:37
I think we need 3 centre backs and Wilson as fourth choice. Moan at me and say I'm rong all you want but I bet that's what Pedro does.

19 May 2017 16:29:19
However what you have got to remember is Wilson in his first stint with us was playing alongside Davie Weir and done ok. Pace would be great but a good footballing brain is essential and Alves has got that.

21 May 2017 12:07:25
i tink we will see 6 new signings this season and will be more quality.

id be suprised if he didn't bring in a few players that we didn't from the likes of the mexican league or elsewhere

19 May 2017 10:18:23
Was at the game Wednesday night, I hope the police were listening to the sheep singing bout the Ibrox disaster, disgusting lot.

19 May 2017 11:14:14
Of course they weren't listening mate, nobody sings anything offensive except Rangers remember.

19 May 2017 11:26:22
It's a joke, I made my feelings known to the police. onwards and upwards for next season can't wait to welcome hibs to Ibrox after their cup final antics

19 May 2017 11:33:52
usual ma dug is bigger than your dug c*ap.

everyone gets fines, us and celtic mostly as we have the most idiotic fans

stop with the whole world is out to get us, celtic were like that for nearly 15 year until recetntly, ye only sing when your winning as they say.

19 May 2017 11:59:40
I was there to watch a football match nt to listen to songs bout people dying being sung. i sing all the time not only when I'm winning.

21 May 2017 14:25:43
blueblood if u can't see the that the way we are treated off of the people that run this football league is totally unfair if rangers where to do that it would be front page news but aberdeen do it and its okay.

hibs fans attack our players and they invade the pitch and charge our fans but we get the same punishment as them aye mate the world is a fair place . jog on mate

19 May 2017 10:15:33
How can king give us all the transfer money to spend when we live off lones to get buy and u have mugs on hear believe this we are ment to have the brains we are far from getting that sort of cash and whos going to trust a guy we don't know with that sort of money pc is not proven himself.

19 May 2017 10:56:39
Caixinha was the boards first choice before Warburton last year. The board really like Caixinha, they have the utmost faith in him.

19 May 2017 11:34:47
onlyshowaround

how do you know the board are fans of him?

you spout more jibber than even me!

19 May 2017 11:57:30
blue, you wish that was true mate.

I know people, and don't believe everything on Social Media :) Caixinha was the first choice but decided against it as he didn't want to manage in the Scottish Championship.

19 May 2017 15:26:20
I thought caixinha was the assistant to victor peraria who was the first choice but chose not to because we were in the Scottish championship

19 May 2017 10:08:34
Wish we would take a look at kamara from hacken. scored again the other day big and strong, quick good with both feet. need to get our scouting network sorted man.

19 May 2017 11:35:53
send the names in letter to pedro more chance a him seeing it there,

make banners with players names at games so he can see who we think is good

50,000 scouts are better than 5

19 May 2017 09:50:04
Oh dear. And let it begin. king promised £12m on transfer fees etc. etc. when this doesn't materialise I hope everyone realises how wrong they are reading through the posts. King has said all the season ticket money is going towards "the football squad". Yes that's about £12m but we already spend something like £7m on player wages just now so that leaves £5m. Once the club pay agent fees and add new wages to that bill from bosmans, i can't see much of the £5m being left for actual transfer fees. Maybe £2m at most. Mind 20k per week in wages is £1m per year to give an idea of how quickly the £5m would disappear.

19 May 2017 12:21:47
He actually said the whole budgets going into the 'transfer kitty' not the playing squad look out your glasses

19 May 2017 13:35:41
Full quote from king:
“All of our season ticket money will be invested in the football squad as we continue to work towards taking our club back to the very top of Scottish Football"

I don't wear glasses but I suggest u go to specsavers mate.

19 May 2017 09:11:54
Id take jack, mclean and mcginn. Buy one get two free lol. Seriously though they would make u stronger and the sheep weaker. win win in my eyes (I know mcginn played for them too but he's a good player on a free)

19 May 2017 10:11:03
We want to be challenging for 1st, Mcginn nor Mclean will get us there. Ryan will improve the team I have no doubt of that, but all 3 wouldn't have the greatest of effects.

19 May 2017 10:44:49
McGinn still has 2 years on his contract. To be honest McCoist dropped the ball with McGinn I was crying out for us to sign him when his contract was up at st mitten it was obvious he would develop into a player. Same now with Paterson at Hearts if we don't attempt to sign him now it's just baffling to me. Best Scottish talents on free transfers should be a no brainer.

Just2see, I think camoo is on about Niall McGinn rather than the Hibs boy. Patterson is a difficult one. The guy will have a hard time coming back from this injury.

19 May 2017 12:34:37
Yep only show. Hence the bad buy one get two free pun :-) I don't think all three would win us the league or get a game every week. but all would be decent options to have in the squad. If we could punt haliday and holt they would be a step up in my opinion.

19 May 2017 13:30:41
I agree they would make good squad players. Mclean would be a great player to bring off the bench McGinn too. I'd prefer better quality for the 1st team however.

19 May 2017 09:09:46
With Alves likely to arrive and Dorrans hotly tipped to join, looks like Pedro going for experience. Just hope he doesn't look past the young talent we have in Beerman, Bates and Barjonas (this boy in particular looks quality) . With a promise of £13m from season ticket money to be spent on squad I hope we don't just blow it on big names and wages, but find a few young gems too.

Got to shift the dead wood, and get a good spirit in that dressing room.

A natural goal scorer is s must, I think young Cummings is a no brainer, as he's got goals in him at SPL level, and will also hurt hibs return to top division.

Who would we like to see walk up the marble staircase?

19 May 2017 09:17:51
Id rather we don't take risks in this window and buy guys who will definitely improve the team immediately. We need to get it right to close the gap on Celtic (no one else matters lol) . If we get the spine of the team right now, we can look at the "diamonds in the rough" next year. I just want to see more goals and points on the board at the end of they day.

19 May 2017 09:33:34
Waghorn even scored at hat full in championship so Cummings doing the same in that league doesn't mean he will in SPL. Not good enough for my liking.

19 May 2017 09:41:51
I just don't understand this statement of spending all season ticket cash on players. How is that possible when a lot of people choose to pay monthoy rather than in one full payment? Is Dave King going to front load the cash? I suspect its just to sell season tickets through the public sale.

19 May 2017 10:47:08
It's how a business operates. He has projected funds for the year which he can adjust his spending to accordingly.

19 May 2017 12:14:06
I still cannot believe some GERS supporters would think the Edinburgh GREENS would sell Cummings or any player to RANGERS, they HATE us,
Lennon, Petrie, Dempster are poison and would rather give their players to the East End Mob for a pittance rather than sell to us for a high transfer fee. Their HATRED of us takes precedence over good business, but IMO Cummings is as one footed as Waggy and has only scored in the lower division, I doubt Cummings would want to come and play for RANGERS, he is a big head who thinks he is to good for Scottish football apart from the MHOB from the east

19 May 2017 08:31:16
Dave King says all season ticket money will be used on the playing squad. so am I right in saying then that once again no money seems to be actually coming from him and the fact of the matter is, it's the fans having to dig deep buying season books to fund the club.! When, (if ever) is he going to dip his hand in his own pocket!? I'll stand corrected if I'm wrong.!

19 May 2017 08:52:54
Lee, do you want another Murray? A sugar daddy? does that sound good to you?

Our aim all along has been to get the club to be self sufficient, nothing more nothing less. I don't want an owner giving us money and then one day they are gone and we are back to square one.

19 May 2017 09:09:19
Ok tell u what. Dk comes out and says every supporter pays 10 quid into fund to help buy players. i'm in. let's get this sorted. a friend if a friend etc etc that works at ibrox. let's get it done. daily tab on gers page how much we raised so dar. bet it be millions upon millions. in fact am 20 quid in already lol. let's end celtic dominince a tenner at the a time

21 May 2017 09:07:46
Give the guy a break. Look at the German business model where fans and sponsors fund the clubs and note that's why the retail deal is so damaging to us. King's the Chairman, not the sole owner of Rangers and most shareholders don't buy shares to lose money. I know he said certain things in the past but maybe he got a bit carried away in the euphoria of the moment and didn't know the full extent of the ridiculous contracts signed by the previous board. Who knows? He lost a lot of money first time around investing under Murray. Most of us fans didn't.

21 May 2017 09:43:30
Well if season ticket cash is going on players. Where is the cash coming from for daily running costs? Could it be dave king and the boards pockets? Something to ponder lee mcf.

19 May 2017 07:51:31
Dave king has said all season ticket money will go into the playing squad i'm no mathematician but that's about 12 million.

19 May 2017 08:32:36
Was just thinking that myself . Over 10 million anyway I had in my mind. He needs to stand by this and also put a few million pounds on top of that, I was honestly surprised at amount of season renewals already. I have re-newed myself but I know a good few people who haven't. Anyway I'll look forward to European games again.

19 May 2017 08:35:01
12 Million which is going into Wages and Transfer fees. Makes me wonder, we are meant to be getting rid of 12 players or thereabouts, what is happening with their wages?

19 May 2017 09:55:26
I would assume couple of million will pay off the dead wood.

19 May 2017 00:17:21
It's all falling into place, defense for next season, Patterson Alves, JT and Wallace, not a bad start 🏅 Happy days 😍🔴⚽️🔵.

19 May 2017 00:29:24
Tex. please give me some of whatever it is your having.! 😂😂👍🏻

19 May 2017 01:25:11
Aye some defence combined age of 72 at centre back 😂😂

19 May 2017 03:07:06
Ok, maybe Patterson Alves Sumalia &Wallace, still pretty tasty.!
I can't believe the comment about the age, could you imagine that defense, it would immense and would be awesome for bringing on the young lads.!

19 May 2017 08:55:42
