19 Jun 2015 21:04:37
cant u remember henry kissenger us diplomat

Agree0 Disagree5

19 Jun 2015 21:19:12
So why would he be of any use to negotiate with players and agent's? Are you going to kidnap them and hold them hostage?

Agree3 Disagree1

19 Jun 2015 21:23:15
Is he an ex player

Agree1 Disagree1

19 Jun 2015 21:27:51
BIGWULL, What is your point? As the replies point out he was a peace envoy and if that is an attempt at humour get a new joke book.

Agree2 Disagree4

19 Jun 2015 21:47:45
billy b this is a banter page we are reported to be talking to about every player on the planet henry kissenger was only a joke ed did u understand what I meant unless I am too old and nobody has mind of henry

Agree2 Disagree3

{Ed001's Note - I have heard of him, only in terms of people talking about what a joke it was that he got the Nobel Peace Prize, but that is as much as I know.}

19 Jun 2015 22:48:12
That's a bit unfair, bigwulls posts always make me laugh

Agree2 Disagree5

20 Jun 2015 00:54:41
thought it was funny. but i'm up there

Agree2 Disagree5

20 Jun 2015 11:33:35
Bigwull maybe if you mentioned a name they would associate with football and negotiated good football related deals say ,mmm like that Jack Warner from FIFA or Sepp Blatter even more fun. to go with our directors and their ambitions to wear the TIE etc "Chuck(Rangers) Blazer, they may have got the fun in your pun. :)

Agree3 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - or if we had been older.....}

20 Jun 2015 15:35:47
yE ED THAT 2.

Agree2 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - I bet John Eustace would have got the gag.....}

20 Jun 2015 19:44:12
Ouch that's below the belt ED. True but below the belt.

{Ed001's Note - sorry mate, couldn't resist.}

Agree1 Disagree0

20 Jun 2015 13:17:39
Aye no bad Johnjag. Still painful for us but no bad. We'll get you back though you see if we don't

Agree2 Disagree0

19 Jun 2015 17:34:45
ok so I may be wrong about barton but every team needs a roy kean type of player . just my take ok. scot brown perfect example . also we need a big tall goalie who orchestrates his 6 yard box and doesn't catch flies. bell would be my back up as he's a flycatcher as we saw against well.just sayin
deecee

19 Jun 2015 19:00:52
Love to see Barton in the blue

Agree2 Disagree4

19 Jun 2015 20:42:26
Joey Barton! Honestly, what planet are use on! He's probably just comin off a 50 grand a week contract at QPR! And we all know he's a tim anyway 😜😜

Agree0 Disagree4

19 Jun 2015 21:12:40
Dh88 I didn't say it was going to happen just said I would like to see it happen regardless of his wages he isn't warburtons type of player too hot headed and unpredictable very hard to man manage

Agree0 Disagree0

19 Jun 2015 21:23:54
He is also a thug take a look on YouTube to see what he did to the young kid outside McDonald's , ed did ed7 not say you knew his family or stayed near them , if so could you shine some light on the type of guy were dealing with here .

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - he is a horrible little rat, stubbed out a cigar in the face of a youth team lad while at City, stamped on the head of a player lying on the ground, and that is just the stuff that became public. He is just like his brother. Look him up.}

19 Jun 2015 21:54:58
That should have been a jail sentence, the cigar incident.
Nasty, horrible thing to do.As you say ed,that's only one of the incidents known to the public. An animal the boy.

Agree3 Disagree0

19 Jun 2015 22:09:53
DH88 I thought we had got passed the Gers are bigots thing- on the park? With big Lorenzo, Porinni, Negri, wee Neil McCann, Gattuso wee Mo etc etc there will have been times when Rangers have fielded more Catholics than your team which could only be an issue in this Moronic little country.
Bigots a plenty left in the stands in both grounds but not on the park and in the boardrooms thankfully - at least I hope not.

Agree6 Disagree1

20 Jun 2015 07:32:41
DH88 What's you're point fella, so what if he is a Tim, you're more than welcome to proclaim him one of your own a nasty egotistical bully better known for his off field rather than on field actions, personally wouldn't want him anywhere near our club. By the way do you know who our first signing is likely to be and who he represented (ROI) don't think the lad is from the Shankill Rd, it would appear we're over it maybe time to move on yourself fella.

Agree7 Disagree1

20 Jun 2015 09:05:31
Dh88, previously known as Dan67,can change his username, but can't change the fact he is a backwards thinking bigoted troglodyte .

Agree6 Disagree1

20 Jun 2015 10:53:59
Changed his name after getting it stinkin from ed001 the other day.

Agree2 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - that account was deleted, so he would not have had any choice.}

20 Jun 2015 11:28:08
Sad man.Totally infatuated.

Agree2 Disagree0

20 Jun 2015 22:01:33
I think Barton ' s a better player than he gets credit for but as has been said, the guy is a moron and we should not be looking at the likes if him. His wage demands would scupper it any way, thankfully

Agree0 Disagree0

19 Jun 2015 16:47:21
Not many of my fellow bluenoses seem to be going for Vuckic, but he would be a priority signing for me. Him along with Allan, McLeod, Wilson and May would give us the basis of a right good team.

Believable9 Unbelievable2

19 Jun 2015 17:39:58
Agree.

I'm not entirely sure it would be a good move for him career-wise though.

Let's wait and see :)

Agree2 Disagree2

19 Jun 2015 17:49:59
I agree but for me allan would be priority see a lot of rumours but would love to see some firm substantiated interest all the above mentioned players would however be a massive step in the right direction

Agree4 Disagree0

19 Jun 2015 18:01:19
Vuckic isn't a good player at all. Couldn't even stand out in the Scottish Championship.

Agree2 Disagree10

19 Jun 2015 19:03:17
For me he was a standout,he had to do far to much on his own, surrounded by clowns,I would love to see him back playing in a team that was there to support him rather than hide behind him,get him signed and he'll flourish under MW.

Agree7 Disagree0

19 Jun 2015 22:15:22
Vuckic certainly impressed in a number of games but if money is tight which it will be and we are watching the pounds shillings and pence I would prefer Scott Allan- if do-able.
I like wee Murdoch but remember Allan engaging the afterburners and leaving young Murdoch in his wake. Looks to have a bit of character about him as well- managing to ignore the louts at corners at Ibrox who failed the club yet again .

Agree0 Disagree0

20 Jun 2015 00:44:16
Vuckic is a good player for me, but very predictable, picks up the ball and immediately looks to cut in on his left, we need a player that is quicker sharper, and doesn't drift in and out of the game still wouldn't be overly disappointed if we signed him but don't think it'll happen due to his ambitions to play for his country!

Agree0 Disagree1

20 Jun 2015 20:54:58
Vuckic for me was VG player, but defenders knew to turn him on his weaker foot. I'd def like to see him in the team, but can't see Ashley playing ball unless he's part of the deal with the 5m loan repayment. and renegotiation of the retail deal.

Agree0 Disagree0

20 Jun 2015 22:05:52
Exactly right smrfc. Stop him getting on to his left foot and he's gubbed. A decent player but too predictable and he's also not the quickest.

Agree0 Disagree0

19 Jun 2015 16:40:28
I think the english championship and division 1 are good leagues to sign players from as they are hard leagues to play in there nearly playing Saturday and tuesday all season tough leagues! Ed would you say division 1 in england is on a par with Scottish premier league?

Believable6 Unbelievable4

{Ed001's Note - it certainly is in terms of average wages, which would suggest it should be. Hard to compare but you would expect most League 1 teams to be competitive in the SPFL, even though they would have little to no chance of winning it.}

19 Jun 2015 20:33:01
Vuckic was posted missing in the two games against Well - the second worst team in the premier league! Good vision and good feet but absolutely no pace.

Could do worse than sign Kallum Higginbotham on a free from Partick?

Agree2 Disagree3

19 Jun 2015 22:51:15
2 lads i'd like to see to complete the back with kiernan and wilson would be gk scott bain and rb o'donnell who has just left thistle, both young and progressed well last seaon n reckon 500k would get bain with o'donnell free

Agree0 Disagree0

20 Jun 2015 00:46:47
have we any promising right backs at Murray Park?

Agree0 Disagree0

20 Jun 2015 10:47:23
Yes, Ryan Sinnamon

Agree0 Disagree0

20 Jun 2015 13:03:15
Championship in Scotland is around the League 1 in England as having watched both League 1 games and English Championship I honestly think every team in the English Championship would be in the SPFL easily

Agree0 Disagree0

19 Jun 2015 13:04:18
Jelavic allowed to leave hull for £3m.

Believable2 Unbelievable4

19 Jun 2015 14:16:08
As much as I'd love to see Nikica Jelavic back in a Rangers jersey. It's not going to happen. He's already said he doesn't want to play in the English Championship. So fat chance of him coming here. Also, he took a 30% wage cut due to relegation and his wages are still sitting as high as £30,000-a-week.

Agree3 Disagree0

19 Jun 2015 17:46:34
Good for him what has that got to do with our team signings as surely you are not insane enough to think we are signing £3m players in the Championship? That will be close to our whole budget

Agree2 Disagree1

19 Jun 2015 17:48:28
Yeah saw that, way out our price range though. I loved the big guy a few years ago, but his form has been sporadic. I think he would be too much of a Gamble, We can bring in 3-5 decent players for that money. Wages would also be a major stumbling block.

Agree1 Disagree0

19 Jun 2015 17:49:13
P.S I would rather take Dame-N-Doye who Hull are also letting go if the price was right. But that's a pipe dream as he is being linked with Newcastle and West Ham.

Good goals ratio prior to Hull

Copenhagen played 104 scored 59 times

Lokomotiv Moscow played 71 scored 27

Agree1 Disagree1

19 Jun 2015 18:51:25
Would rather have sone aluko

Agree4 Disagree3

19 Jun 2015 11:47:07
Might put myself up for some abuse with this one, but I would look at Zaluskas ex Celtic keeper. I think that lad would be a great addition to the squad.

Believable7 Unbelievable11

19 Jun 2015 14:28:20
Jussi jaaskelainen has been freed by Bolton. He's a far better keeper or Ali Al-hasi released by Wigan another better choice.

Agree6 Disagree1

19 Jun 2015 11:32:33
Now that warburton has started his search for players do use think he will use the 4 2 3 1 formation he used at brentford? If so what who would u pick out of players bn linked with us and what formation. Ad go for

Bell
mcgregor wilson kiernan wallace
Murdoch law
dallas allan templeton
may

Decent line up and should stroll the championship. Would say we need a good strong rb and a playmaker aswell as a striker and left back.

Believable3 Unbelievable3

19 Jun 2015 12:21:36
Law is not good enough to play as a centre midfielderif he isn't going to play as an attacking midfielder then he shouldn't play! Centre mids need to defend and he doesn't allhe does is runaround and give the ball away!

Agree7 Disagree1

19 Jun 2015 11:18:47
The team I would like to see next season is mcgregor
D mcgregor Wilson kiernan
Naismith Wallace w/backs
Walker(from hearts) Allan Dallas
May rooney(from a'deen)
Not very likely but must be worth a try I wouldn't normally go back for old players but I would for the goalie

19 Jun 2015 13:11:19
Just the team I wouldve like to see next year, never seen kiernan play a match only snippets.

Agree0 Disagree1

19 Jun 2015 10:09:09
Anyone think that Nick Ross from Inverness could do us a turn next season he's got a good shot on him. Also seen that Kallum Higginbotham is free after leaving thistle

Believable1 Unbelievable10

19 Jun 2015 20:47:27
Is he still doing Crimewatch?

Agree0 Disagree0

19 Jun 2015 09:44:42
Warburton has Allan, Wilson and the boy Kiernan all underway and will be signed I am impressed but moreso by the fact they all have huge potential that if Warburton does what he has done at Brentford this should mean they become better players at the least reaching their potential

Onwards and upwards I love the fact that every day now there are positive stories about Rangers back page again as opposed to 3 years of front page debacles.

Believable4 Unbelievable5

19 Jun 2015 11:04:27
I haven't heard any substantiated reports regarding Allen and wilson has anyone else?

Agree5 Disagree0

18 Jun 2015 21:50:47
with Scott Allan now having a 6million debt on him do we want a player with that awful baggage? I have sympathy with his situation but can't help thinking its going to haunt him

Believable0 Unbelievable10

19 Jun 2015 07:26:42
Hi mate as the news reports say it's Allan 's motor insurer who will be paying out. The press really misrepresentation the story with the headline.

19 Jun 2015 10:11:50
misread the report- sorry for that

Agree2 Disagree0

18 Jun 2015 22:55:22
I agree with earlier posts that the positions of goalie and centre half need addressing. We could do worse than get Zander Clark (back at St Johnstone after loan spell at Queen of South) and Higgins (also from Queen of South). Any thoughts?

Believable1 Unbelievable3

19 Jun 2015 07:39:41
Only seen him play twice against Scotland and Romania the northern Ireland keeper mc govern plays for Hamilton access kept northern Ireland in the game against us and made some great saves against romania as I say I've only see him twice but been impressed both times.
