Not linking this to Redbull but I remember hearing something about Teams being able to put a sponsor on back of their Top? Does anyone else remember hearing about this? i'm sure they do it abroad! And I'm sure there was talk of letting Clubs do it here.

20 Jul 2017 06:07:10
"They" already have a sponsors name on the back of their shirts.

20 Jul 2017 14:52:24
Hamilton have already done this

20 Jul 2017 14:55:12
Do Celtic not have dafabrt on the front and magners on the back

20 Jul 2017 19:11:15
It's the other way about mate

19 Jul 2017 19:42:41
Saw something about Darren bent earlier. Bit like Defoe. Knows where the net is but his age is a concern.
I know we want to bring through talent etc but we r struggling to hit the net. I'm not saying we need to sign him but with kennys age should we try bring in an experienced striker that can hit the net like bent?

19 Jul 2017 21:32:34
Bring in Moult from Motherwell he is a proven goalscorer in the Scottish Premiership.
Lack of goals pre season is a major concern so if we don't sign any more strikers Herrera and Morelos will need to score on a regular basis along with Miller.
We need to hope Morelos continues to score goals as he did with his previous club HFK Helsinki.

20 Jul 2017 14:23:36
No way would Darren bent come up to Scotland mate I wouldn't mind seeing him pull on the Glasgow rangers jersey but no chance. I would take Allan mcgregor back in a heart beat and sell big fox to the first buyer

19 Jul 2017 17:17:17
Where can I see Niko tackle?

19 Jul 2017 17:38:46
Pornhub mate. πŸ‘

19 Jul 2017 20:16:16
That would be Niko's Banger

19 Jul 2017 20:17:50
HaHaHa you got your answer Rainger let us know how you get on!

19 Jul 2017 20:34:06
He's hung like a cat

19 Jul 2017 17:10:32
Tell you what it was a cracking finish by Callum Hendry. shocking defending to give him the chance tho.

19 Jul 2017 16:57:13
18 Jul 2017 19:56:47
You can't even score against St Johnstone at the training ground and were rank rotten again! The players are shocking at best. At least the magic hat had you controlling the ball.

18 Jul 2017 20:37:26
You let the mask slip a little there, eh?
Cuillin72
18 Jul 2017 21:51:40
Well done fisherman, showing your true colours all 40 shades of them!
Onward and UPWARD#

19 Jul 2017 17:20:18
Let your discipline slip there MF (what appropriate initials you have) . Just like you're classless teamclub. you just can't help yourself can you. Your team will implode this season and just like the Liverpool fans at the end. you'll be praying for Brenda to go.

20 Jul 2017 14:30:13
Sorry guys, my mate was on this computer last night and was at the wind up. I have just noticed it there. He's a tim by the way.
I seriously hope Pedro sorts out the team by the start of the season. It is looking grim at the moment!

20 Jul 2017 14:53:05
Riffy I don't even think your convinced of your own statement lol.
How would you define CLASS?
By having a sectarian policy for 100 years?
By winning a Euro trophy and wrecking a city?
By losing a euro trophy and wrecking a city?
By not paying your tax and leaving creditors unpaid and thinking its ok to do so?
By claiming to be the same club after liquidation?
By trying to sign a player during Admin?
By trying to gain an advantage against all your rivals by illegal means?
Yep that's class.

19 Jul 2017 16:52:38
Personally i think we will all have to wait till December, Then we can make a decision if he is the right manager or not and the players he bought are good or crap, I am going to give him a chance we have no choice the board will not sack him he bought 9 players they are on 3 year contracts so if he does get sacked we will still have the same team. so we might as well give the team the full backing and that will give them confidence they need time playing together you can't add 9 players and expect them to gell immediately its impossible
so onwards and upwards. I hope as i can't handle this anymore lol.

19 Jul 2017 15:08:14
just watched the video clip of Krankjar "losing it" with the referee.
It was the result of a bad tackle, IN A FRIENDLY, on a player who is just back from a major injury. The reporting of it is the part that is over the top, NOT his reaction.
Give the guy a break, the ref did nothing about the tackle.

19 Jul 2017 15:21:01
Seen the challenge and totally agree. It should have been the St. Johnstone player who was asked to leave the pitch.

19 Jul 2017 16:05:05
Anybody know the Team/ Teams used agsinst St. Johnstone? Even opinion on formation used? Was O'halloran used as a Wing Back again? And if Forrester Kiernan Crooks Wags were used WHY? Do we think that Pedro will use these games against Sheff. Wed + Marsaille as a chance to put these guys in shop window? Which when you think about it is crap for Pedro when trying to get a Team used to playing with one another! But what else can he do if he's been asked by Clubs or Agents that Clubs want to see certain Players in action!
Thoughts Bears is this a serious possibility?

19 Jul 2017 16:42:42
do you check the internet
or RFC website as clearly you don't have a clue and i very much doubt you are a rangers supporter if you are asking is crooks playing

19 Jul 2017 17:25:04
Good to get explanation of Krankjar incident - seemed out of character. Does anyone know who failed to control the ball leading to St. Johnstone's goal?

19 Jul 2017 18:07:13
Desrfc. i'm a Bluenose I stuck Crooks name in cause I wasnt sure if the deal was 100% through!
Post was about a question to anyone whi knew the Team and if anyone thought that these games would be used for Players we're trying to move out of Ibrox.

19 Jul 2017 20:23:39
andy you can find info on the match on either st jhonstone or rangers twitter

19 Jul 2017 22:28:08
RANGERS XI: Foderingham (Alnwick 45’), Tavernier (Waghorn 65’), Wilson (Bates 45’), Cardoso (McCrorie 78’), Wallace (Thompson 78’) ; Pena (Holt 65’), Dorrans (Dalcio 70’), Jack; Kranjcar (Windass 35’), Miller (Candieas 58’), Herrera (Morelos 58’)

20 Jul 2017 14:24:48
Get what you're saying mate, think he should be at this stage (given recent results and reactive 'supporters' trying to sack the guy) that he will field the team he needs to hit the ground running and telling the board this should also be the case, even the mad notion of a couple of goals should be in his thoughts for these matches.

If any of them wanted to wear the famous blue jersey next season, or even engineer a move away, simply they should have tried harder in my opinion.

I hope the team that starts the season is 75% or more what we see in the next two matches, give or take a few tweaks or players coming in.

20 Jul 2017 14:27:21
Looked like Jack, but ball played to him was like a toe poke. Too hard not really his fault I don't think. Sure I seen it on record online.

19 Jul 2017 14:24:29
Whole back line accept Alves but including Wes are gash. A blind man can literally tell you that there will be a mix up at the back in every game involving the usual suspects. When I saw the latest howler I assumed that it was Wes who made the hospital pass when it wasn't him. I wonder why? . And that's not to mention the lack of control.

I'm usually positive in my posts but we are running out of time with these poor results lads. As Harry Rednap says - losing is a bad habit to get into.

19 Jul 2017 14:21:25
I am 100% behind our club, re building a full team takes time - we have made it more difficult by integrating different cultures and languages.
My issue is with Pedro - is it just me that thinks every time he opens his mouth he talks s***? that's what I think the problem is. Walter had it spot on- just win football matches- find a way Pedro!

19 Jul 2017 16:01:42
do you remember Stanley Unwin? He made money by talking rubbish, but sometimes even his gobbledegook makes more sense than Pedro's banter

20 Jul 2017 14:28:46
Dare I say it but it was me who reported the phrase "caress the ball" only to be shot down screaming from every quarter. I've also mentioned at times the pure pish that this man can spout and again got criticised. Wonder what the common consensus is now?

19 Jul 2017 13:06:02
Niko is a good player. but he will get found out with lack of pace. Drops deep picks the ball up and pings a pass.

I'm happy to give everyone a chance In tgis team. Preseason means nothing! It's about getting fit and working as a team.

The goal yesterday was shocking but hopefully they learn from it. Luckily it's pre season as I said means nothing!

The issue now I would say is the goals. Think Walker would be ideal signing. Scores goals with a shite hearts team and can run at people. Something we have been lacking for years.

19 Jul 2017 19:25:42
With Nico I think that he plays one then misses one. Think most would agree and now that we have Pena and Dorrans the Team should be strong enough.
We've brought in Players who are mostly, a International level!
All this team needs is TIME!

19 Jul 2017 23:34:02
Come in peace. But international level? Who? but 37 year old alves has played an international game in the last 2 years?

19 Jul 2017 11:25:51
Do you want to see Naismith back at rangers?

19 Jul 2017 11:53:55
Yes, he has said his comments were a mistake. And I think he would be a really decent signing. Can take on millar's mantle. He and play cf, outwide, attacking midfield too.

19 Jul 2017 12:16:58
Yes. Let's leave the past where it belongs.

19 Jul 2017 12:29:55
He knows where the goal is and always played well when fit.

He himself acknowledged that his comments were ill advised and regrets making them.

I would have him back at Ibrox. πŸ‘

19 Jul 2017 12:44:25
100%! Would improve us enormously. The past is the past and he was badly advised. Let's move forward, this is a massive year for us, we can't afford to not close the gap.

19 Jul 2017 15:27:36
get him back knows the scottish game and how to play uphere and with his pl experience SHOULD be a better player than he was before when with us

19 Jul 2017 15:53:05
Badly advised? What isn't he capable of making decisions himself? A fully grown man should be responsible for his own actions and not hide behind the badly advised routine. He has had his time at the club

19 Jul 2017 15:55:28
For me it comes down to WAGES! For Naismith. Got to remember he may not play that much and Pedro WILL want to put his signings on the Pitch yeah?
So I think a wage of 10k a week with decent goal bonuses but I truly think he will want more and a Team in the Championship could give and prob will give him around 20k a week.
But opinions please, how much fo you think the following are on per week? And is there any site that could tell us if so let me know yeah. So following Players and weekly wages guess. Here's mine let me know your guestimation.
Alves-14k
Cardoso-14k
Jack-8k
Dorrans-14k
Pena-12k
Candieas-12k
Herrera-12k
Morelos-10k
These are guesses that may be on the low end, I just keep getting th fact that before any Transfers were made it was drilled into us that we had no money and a combined Spend on Transfers would be no more than 3-4m. People SCOFFED! At the talk of us buying a Player at 1m!

19 Jul 2017 17:00:40
Brian why does every player have an agent or an advisor? I'm assuming your a kid by your reply.

19 Jul 2017 18:02:12
Scotty123

How does my reply make me a kid? Please explain. How can stating that a grown man should be able to make his own decisions and live by it without trying to blame someone else? Also you'll find all players have agents so they can make as much money as they can for them as they are better at negotiating than footballers. I'm sorry if that's behind your understanding

20 Jul 2017 14:21:06
Maybe though looking for forward to pena getting a run of games think he could be quality.

20 Jul 2017 14:29:08
Naismith? No!

19 Jul 2017 11:19:35
Bring Naismith home was young man badly advised! Fud, tav, waldo, valves, cardoso, jack, rossiter, Naismith, dorrans, walker, Herrera in a 4,2,3,1.

19 Jul 2017 15:54:28
bgate w

What a load of crap he was an adult who made that decision to desert the club. He knew what he was doing and knew the consequences. He isn't a 5 year old child

19 Jul 2017 17:30:28
Brian g, I understand where you coming from but I would give Naismith a chance as I know how he deeply regrets how he left and what was said. I also feel if we are to catch up on our rivals this is a signing we should make as other suitable targets would cost more and maybe harder to attract. Naismith deserves a 2nd chance

19 Jul 2017 09:53:18
Why don't our goalkeepers know when to clear the ball anymore?

Warbsitis?

19 Jul 2017 08:54:29
First Kenny Miller is a veteran professional, if you think he is telling random men and there dogs at petrol stations on the way to airports that the new players are poor and everyone is falling out with the manager then god help you.
Second, we have seen 180 minutes of competitive football and we seem to have judged the team, manager and coaches as duds again. We had comments on here about how happy we were with the signings and after seeing very little of them some nothing at all we have changed our minds and decided that it we will be 'worse than last year' and 'pedro must go'
I am happy to give the team time to gel and learn.
With some on here its either end of the world time or just kinda happy.

If you can't support the team through what you think are the bad times then don't come back when its the good times.

19 Jul 2017 09:25:32
Well said sir. Fed up listening that miller said this miller first rate the new players. He himself is no world beater. And correct me if I'm wrong. Has he not played in all the terrible results in the past

19 Jul 2017 11:24:45
I admire your optimism and hope pc gets it right but the alarm bells are ringing just now. It looks like a re-run of le guen. He doesn't seem to be able to get his tactics over to the players and motivate/ inspire them. He needs a fast start in the league but going by pre-season this seems unlikely. I hope i am wrong but i personally think he looks a major mistake and could be gone by January. DK and board must be having sleepless nights just now

19 Jul 2017 11:55:10
Spot on :-)

19 Jul 2017 19:22:31
I also seem to see people saying that this is the worst pre season ever but I seem to remember Walter Smith taking league winning teams to Germany and drawing and loosing to low league sides but no one complaining then. I have my worries about this squad and management but will keep my mouth shut until I see them in league action. We lost the goal yesterday when we had our second string players on the park yesterday.

One thing I will say though is Josh Windass is just not good enough for us. I remember watching him for Accrington after we signed him and thinking this boy just cannot control a ball.

As for the Kenny Miller situation I think it's lies and hope I'm right but I think it's time he becomes a sub we can rely on. Him and kranjcer should be impact subs in my opinion.

If we can get walker in I would like to see the following team start
Fod
Tav
Cardossa
Alves (captain)
Wallace
Pena
Jack (vice captain)
Dorrans
Walker
Candieas
Herrera/ morelos

I would like to see a right back brought in but not getting my hopes up.

19 Jul 2017 19:25:51
Superb post fintytint! Couldn't have put it any better myself! You're spot on as in regards to with a lot of our supporters, its all black or all white, with NO thought given to the in between! I wish they would at least try and understand that football doesn't work like that, especially when you're building a new team!

20 Jul 2017 14:25:18
i don't know anything about Miller but if he was going to open his mouth about crap team mates he surely would have done it anytime over last 4 seasons?
Neither is he in a position to criticise anyone's technical ability, he can't pass or control a ball but who cares if he walks like Maradonna.

20 Jul 2017 14:57:15
Great post fintytint.

Some people on this site would have players sold if they lost a five-a-side training game

19 Jul 2017 06:18:20
Europe was a disaster. Too soon for us. We should be taking things step at a time. That means finishing the place above last season and getting to a final of a cup. If we're way off that at the end of the season then we can call for the management team/ board to consider their position.

I recognise that player power is huge these days but none of the players rumoured to be making noises can argue based on previous performances and free movement between rival clubs in the past. If these types of players aren't happy, let them go and allow Ped's revolution to acquire some momentum.

I'm looking forward to taking my seat at Ibrox and supporting the team.

19 Jul 2017 10:38:19
Fraser82

How can you say Europe was too soon for us when we went out to a 4th rate team from Luxembourg? We should have been able to beat them with a team full of youth players. Also we knew when the qualifiers were so if we weren't prepared enough it's down to the manager.

19 Jul 2017 02:53:17
Is the Marseille game on rangers tv on Saturday?
