19 Jan 2019 22:46:23
Just watched sportscene saw the reaction to izzaguirie dive by airdrie players particular the keeper
Pundit analysis, nothing not a thing! If that was us We'd see if from different angles and in slow mo, absolutely shocking.

19 Jan 2019 21:32:21
I'm sure i can speak for most rangers supporters here, when I say that we're all very happy with steven gerrard as our manager and how well he's started, rebuilding the most successful football club on the planet! I truly believe that stevie G will do brilliantly as a manager and will win the scottish premiership, as the manager of the famous glasgow rangers! As i most definitely think he'll be successful with us will of course come with admiring glances from other football clubs. This is only my humble opinion,
but i truly think steven gerrard in his managerial career will only manage glasgow rangers, liverpool and his country england! He's a very honest, loyal guy and that's why i have the belief he'll only be a manager of these three! Of course this comes down to him being successful, which i have every faith he will be. I think he will most definitely be our manager for at least the original 4 years, he signed up for.

19 Jan 2019 22:59:49
Agree with your sentiment and pray you are right, we are on the up to where we belong!

19 Jan 2019 23:51:59
Obviously hope he wins the league up here before he moves on. This season would be fantastic. If not next. I feel he thinks he needs to be a success up here but I also fear that if a top half EPL team come in for him he would welcome the "challenge". No doubt he will manage Liverpool one day but sincerely hope he leads us to a title or three before he moves on.

19 Jan 2019 19:58:19
a hypothetical question fellow bears if rangers were no more which other scottish club would you follow? could we have a poll please ed just a bit of fun

Scottish Clubs Poll

19 Jan 2019 20:37:37
Thats the most ridiculous question I've ever read. Rangers will always survive and thrive. It simply doesn't deserve an alternative answer.

19 Jan 2019 21:20:40
I would probably support a team that you have not mentioned - Celtic.

They have been pretty competitive over the years despite having a small budget and having to deal with the fact that their only dropped points have come about due to an establishment conspiracy.

Their support seems to be a nice bunch of guys who are focused only on their own team and they will not tolerate any kind of bitterness within their ranks.

So it would be Celtic for me.

19 Jan 2019 21:22:50
Personally i couldn't and wouldn't support or follow any other scottish football club! You've posed the question briangersfan so i'll be polite enough to answer it mate. I would follow newcastle utd, who have always been my favourite english club. I've also got personal friends and good pals for life, who are from newcastle and follow them religiously! So there you have it mate! Having said that the famous glasgow rangers will always be here! Don't worry about that!

19 Jan 2019 21:31:02
Chase yourself, devoted to the famous my friend.

19 Jan 2019 22:41:50
Simple

"For There's Not A Team".

19 Jan 2019 23:18:15
I’m sorry but if you have even the thought of supporting another team then you’re not a through and through rangers fan. Wouldn’t support anyone, not even an English team.

19 Jan 2019 23:37:09
coolatballet I was going to agree with your tongue in cheek answer until I realised that some plonker would probably think I was serious lol. ONWARDS AND UPWARDS THE FAMOUS.

19 Jan 2019 23:54:40
Rangers reserves.

19 Jan 2019 23:59:13
Rangers reserves.

20 Jan 2019 09:11:06
Wow what a daft question. I wouldn’t support any team but I would support yourself with the care that u need clearly.

20 Jan 2019 09:19:18
I would support no one else and probably be finished with football completely. Rangers are more than a football team.

20 Jan 2019 09:22:20
I've a connection to Dundee through my dad so I like to see them do well. Apart from that it is only Rangers, and of course Celtic for the reasons Coulatballet gave.

20 Jan 2019 11:12:58
lads calm doon it was a bit of fun! it was most certainly not meant to be taken seriously. interestingly though but not surprising not one of us said scotland?

20 Jan 2019 15:15:55
brianrangersfan, why?

20 Jan 2019 15:47:21
Tbh a can’t really support any other team even watching Barcelona real or Man U liverpool would need to have a punt on the game and no feeling would come close too when rangers are about to kick off esp with the passion there showing the now!

20 Jan 2019 17:39:58
🎵🎵IM A TEDDY BEAR TILL THE DAY I DIE 🎵🎵🔴⚪🔵.

19 Jan 2019 19:58:17

19 Jan 2019 19:58:07
Noon ko goalie.

20 Jan 2019 08:04:31
taking the piss charging a tenner to see it.

20 Jan 2019 09:23:52
I think if you subscribe to Rangers tv you can get this game live in the UK as well. Don't need a vpn.

21 Jan 2019 19:10:37
Richmar it is.

21 Jan 2019 19:38:03
Bryan, don't go and support our club, plain and simple.

19 Jan 2019 16:50:49
took a 9 fold acca coupon today bears for a £340 return and the sheep at home to stenhousemuir have fu$$ed it can you hate the sheep any more.

19 Jan 2019 17:12:34
That's what you get for wanting Aberdeen to win.

19 Jan 2019 17:53:20
lol mike hate the sheep with a passion and hate them winning any game but home to stenhousemuir.

20 Jan 2019 00:04:59
You gamble with your head, not your heart.

21 Jan 2019 19:11:11
I had tenner 14/1 Talbot.

19 Jan 2019 15:17:57
Whats the thinking on here that its possible stevie G, sees ryan kent as possibly playing our no.10 role? Kent IMO most certainly has the ability to play in that role, for us! What a superb piece of business for us, if we can get kent on a permanent contract from liverpool!
My own gut feeling however, is that we will possibly get him on another season long loan deal, at the end of the season! I'd take that just now, because that would mean we've got him at ibrox, for another year minimum,
because as we all know clubs like leeds utd,
are sniffing around kent and want to sign him from liverpool, on a permanent deal!

19 Jan 2019 15:54:10
kent is loving life at gers he was quoted saying that the win against the unwashed was his greatest feeling so far in his career so any deal if permanent or loan is a bonus fingers crossed.

19 Jan 2019 16:53:08
Kent would be far more effective running wide in my opinion coop. I don’t think he would have the same space to move if more central in a 10 role. Would definitely like to see him there a few games tho and would be happy to be proven wrong.

19 Jan 2019 17:07:58
Kent is only a number 10 in minds of fantasists like supercooper. He doesn't seem to get it that the system we currently employ doesn't require a No.10 but attacking midfielders such as Arfield and Davis with two wide suppliers and a front man. The guy is obsessed with this No.10 stuff.

19 Jan 2019 17:45:19
Everyone has their opinions! I think differently from you, get over it! Our manager says also that we needed a more creative central midfielder, yes and he mentioned the no.10 role!

19 Jan 2019 17:57:29
How many names is that he's suggested for the no10 now?
He was on here the other day spouting that some posters don't have a scooby do. His words. So, unless you think like him, and see what he sees, you know nothing about Rangers.
This from the guy who threw his full backing behind McCoist, white, green, Warburton, Pedro and Murty.
How did they work out Coops?
Try as you might, it is you who does not have a clue.
Ask for a poll if you don't believe me.

19 Jan 2019 18:03:22
They have previous when it comes to getting turfed out of cups by lower league opposition.

:)

19 Jan 2019 18:10:12
Who needs Tims to come on here and have a go when you lot are about?

19 Jan 2019 18:17:19
Asa youth and slk73. what's the point in calling people out? Coops is obviously an enthusiastic fan with rangers at heart. If you disagree use the button. Opinions right or wrong is what the page is for.

19 Jan 2019 18:33:28
Dc82
all opinions should be welcome in print
hitting the disagree button tells everyone nothing
except possible a timmy lurking.

19 Jan 2019 19:02:20
Aww ya poor wee souls. Big bad posters should not be allowed to rinse other fans.
The forum is here for all opinions. If you're too precious, then it's probably not for you.
I know, and appreciate, that my opinions will not suit all. I'm fine with that. No big deal to me.

19 Jan 2019 22:09:12
Having your opinion is fine. You are more than welcome to it but having a pop at a fellow fan for theirs is poor. If people’s opinion or suggestions annoy you then why do you even bother coming on here? Your the kinda guy that goes swimming then moans it’s too wet!

19 Jan 2019 22:45:36
Couldn't agree more stevies_army!

19 Jan 2019 22:50:25
It doesn't annoy me at all. I love a bit of banter.
However, it would appear my opinions annoy you.
If you need to be a snowflake, that's ok precious. I will not mock you for being so sensitive to other poster's feelings. Oh wait, I think I just did.
Oh well, I make no apologies for my insincerity.

19 Jan 2019 23:41:36
now now children.

19 Jan 2019 23:44:46
Precious? OK Gollum settle down son!

20 Jan 2019 00:09:00
Hang on here, I agree it's all about opinions but supercooper is probably the worst on here for name calling anybody who disagrees with him. Can hardly be getting precious when someone gives him some back.

20 Jan 2019 09:39:39
You lot need to get a grip. Slk73 you are out of order above and wouldn't surprise me if your a tim on the wind up. Cooper does get it right from every angle and yes his views can be different. But what he does is back everything about the club. Every manager every player. Even if they fail. That's a true supporter. Gets behind the team and tries to push them on. Not moan and rip into them at the first hiccup. Yrs his support may have been wrong in hindsight but since when does anybody know the future. At least he goes into things with a glass half full.

20 Jan 2019 10:45:56
Son? Been a while since anybody has called me son. Apart from my dear old mum.
You come over all Danny Dyer there with the settle down son patter. Not the most constructive response, was it?
As Frustrated blue points out, Coops is the worst in here for having a go if a poster's opinion differs from his. If he is big enough to give it out, he should be big enough to take it. And if you're daft enough to get involved, then so be it.
I look forward to whatever constructive response you fire back. Shouldn't take you too long.

20 Jan 2019 11:58:13
Gordon83! Don't ever call me a Tim again. How's that for being positive?

20 Jan 2019 13:05:21
Pmsl who’s the snowflake now son?

20 Jan 2019 13:33:09
Still keeping to the son patter I see? Brilliant! How ling did it take you to come back with that one?
Being a snowflake means you are offended by what people say or their actions. What you say does not offend me. What you say is just embarrassing.
If others on here do not agree on what I say, then so be it. I'm not on here to please all. But unless someone calls me a tim, then I will not get all precious just because someone thinks differently to me.
And if any Rangers man thinks it's acceptable to be called a tim, then they need to have a long hard look at themselves.

20 Jan 2019 15:00:46
Time of the month son!

20 Jan 2019 16:35:51
Pmsl Bankie.

20 Jan 2019 18:05:26
Is that all you've got stevies_army? Brilliant! That's it, you've ruined my Sunday now.
Limited response due to a lack of an educated vocabulary so jumps on the back of a joke about the time of the month. Tells me all I need to know.
Now, at least come back to me with something original and constructive.
I know once you cut out the PMSL and the football factory patter it might not leave much, but please try.

19 Jan 2019 13:14:15
Defoe was on 70 grand a week at Sunderland, he left for Bournemouth at the age of 34 so I can't see how he would be on nearly double that at Bournemouth. If you add his signing on bonus and goal bonuses then it would equate to 100 + grand a week, I think we will be paying about 30 grand a week . Some of the stories have said he would be on 6 times the best earner at the club but that makes no sense as I think morelos is on nearly 30.

19 Jan 2019 14:08:01
Aye. I have seen it on other press and Bournemouth fans sites saying around 60k per week so around half that for us. Not a chance he would be on anywhere near 120k p/ w.

19 Jan 2019 14:54:41
I would be amazed if we were paying Defoe this sort of cash and if we are it is concerning? King is obviously taking a big risk at the thought of the league title but there must be someone investing as our debt just continues to go up although money was generated through the Euro run? . Just hope the board no what they are doing and if doesn’t lead us into more financial trouble as I couldn’t cope with more woes! 🇬🇧.

19 Jan 2019 17:13:11
None of us knows what the players earn unless you're his agent. This mince about Morelos earning £30k makes my eyes water and Defoe has never been on the money talked about here. And Yately, I think the board has nothing to prove when it comes to knowing what they are doing. What a ridiculous, negative piece of nonsense. Big risk? Someone investing? You need to get out more, your posts are becoming more and more like supercooper.

19 Jan 2019 17:51:05
Asayouth how can you say no one bar agents know earnings then say defoe was never on money quoted by that assertion are you then defoes agent?

19 Jan 2019 18:04:48
Arsayouth, that’s me told and where did we drag you up from, have a lovely night😜❤️🇬🇧.

19 Jan 2019 20:47:38
Boys we have got the mankies terrified so let’s enjoy that for a moment without having a go at each other . 10 in a row has to be stopped at all costs. otherwise this could go on forever. we might have in our hands the best chance we might ever get . I think the board and DK know this and are going for it . Who cares how . we will never sink to the depths we did as that was due to vultures trying to strip our great club for every ounce of income DK and board will Never let that happen again.

19 Jan 2019 21:40:35
Yately1 i wouldn't let this goatherd worry you pal! There's some nasty pieces of s**t on here who are more interested in trying to degrade fellow gers supporters, who all have wide ranging opinions! Someone else posted this and is spot on, "who needs celtic fans on here, when we've got nasty pieces of s**t, who call themselves rangers fans"! I truly have my doubts about them! Moonmen.

20 Jan 2019 00:12:08
Supercoops you're forever calling fellow supporters down. Any body who disagrees with u is a clown or a rubbish talker or knows heehaw. Don't play the victim.

19 Jan 2019 13:21:22
Whom was the rangers player with the bad attitude Jimmy Nicholl talks about,? Josh Windass says it wasn't him and Pena was only there 4 days during Nicholls time.?

19 Jan 2019 13:52:43
Cummings most likely, possibly Goss.

19 Jan 2019 15:09:34
Can't see it being jason cummings.
The word was he had a great attitude in training! I thought immediately that it had to be josh windass, that jimmy nicholl was talking about,
although windass has said it wasn't him!

19 Jan 2019 15:27:50
Jimmy said said they were moanng about not getting on the pitch. So it’s one of those two.

19 Jan 2019 16:01:01
Me thinking he is protesting too much, it’s Josh Windass alright.

19 Jan 2019 16:04:07
Yeah, Josh Windass sounds about right😌.

19 Jan 2019 16:08:11
Josh was never on the bench though so it’s not him. I’m now thinking Goss.

19 Jan 2019 17:10:44
Alves maybe?

19 Jan 2019 18:37:36
Id say Ohalloran. His attitude was terrible.

19 Jan 2019 09:58:57
Read on news now we are meant to be paying 65k a week for defoe. If this is true i think the board need to rethink transfer policy. We could have got 2 good quality younger players in for that kind of money.

19 Jan 2019 10:33:13
Listen this is a push . we have a glimmer of hope . although I do think Brenda’s not happy and might leave soon. However o for one vackvthe board 100% to stop the manks railroading to ten.

19 Jan 2019 10:35:06
Fake News.

19 Jan 2019 10:39:58
there is no way we are paying 65k a week for defoe and news now is 99.9% garbage.

19 Jan 2019 10:40:00
If we are paying that kind of wage then we must have sum serious financial backing from our investors.
The signing of Defoe and Davis certainly means we are going go for the title and a couple of younger players mite not provide what Davis and Defoe will to the team.
This is a high risk move by the club if wages are true but maybe the club think the rewards outweigh the risk.
Us fans would be over the moon if we won the league this season and stopping them winning the league then the club would also get a shot at trying to get in the champions league and if achieved the financial rewards but be very rewarding for the club.

19 Jan 2019 11:54:27
Who says? The DR, aye their always accurate with their garble, especially when it comes to us.

19 Jan 2019 14:01:46
I feel like our fans need a daily reminder not to pay any attention to the tabloids and their sensationalist lies.
PLEASE IGNORE TABLOID LIES.

19 Jan 2019 14:13:35
When there is a feel good vibe around our club, top signings coming in, beating that lot in our last game, the press can't help but try and invent some crap to get a wee dig in. wouldn't listen to a word they say.

19 Jan 2019 16:03:02
We’re contributing £28k to Defoe’s weekly wage.

19 Jan 2019 17:16:12
Who told you that, Bankie, his agent? The player? His lawyer? The club's chief executive? Tell us your unimpeachable source.

19 Jan 2019 22:58:37
Asayouth are you a mhanky? all you do is criticise fellow bears having a pop at everyone who posts - very weird indeed.

19 Jan 2019 09:14:10
Just read Rangers are (supposed ) ? ? ? To be paying £65,000 a week for Defoe, personally I don’t believe it, the money men wouldn’t be that stupid after what Rangers have came through? DR are throwing in a mix.

19 Jan 2019 10:42:20
ulsterman there's more chance of the beggers getting a shirt sponser off of lynx than us paying defoe 65k a week.

19 Jan 2019 11:05:38
Spot on Queens, like your self as I posted, I believe it’s fake news, just nonsense, DR will say anything for a story.

19 Jan 2019 13:29:16
If it’s in the DR it’s rubbish - it’s that simple.

20 Jan 2019 00:03:35
Listen man I don’t mind donating a tenner. that would make it 65.010.00 a week 👍.
