If you watch some highlights again, you’ll see tav up the park, Goldson over on the right and big slow fil in the centre. This can make the f/ b look bad at times in my opinion.

Also, in my opinion I rate Davis, but I wouldn’t be playing him in any combative games as I think he’s our week link in these type of games.

Everytime i listen to neil mccann on RTV, i'm impressed with him. He's a terrific pundit and knows football inside out. He has a terrific knowledge of the tactical side of the game.

What I love about wee McCann is he has always stood up for us and always fights our corner when others haven't. Considering he is from a staunch Celtic family he has never forgotten his ties to Rangers and has always backed us.

I worked with a guy who knew him and his family, but more so wee McCann's brother who was supposedly a right bitter Celtic man.
I loved the way he took Rangers to his heart and has continued with his love affair throughout the years. He was always quick to defend Rangers through everything we went through when other wanted to kick us at every turn.

I seen a bit of Neil McCann when he was at Dundee. I followed him when he went to hearts and I absolutely loved it when he signed for us. He’s easily one of my favourite people in football and I could listen to the guy for hours.

John, you are probably right about the media thing and probably hard to disagree but I would love to see him back coaching, preferably at rangers in some capacity.

Never seen todays game but going by what I've read i am delighted with the result. Rangers seem to play better against teams who try to play football and win matches hence our great european record. Hopefully celtic try and play us off the park with all their 30million plus players eh mr Sutton. Then we will see which players are the more valuable. Even if celtic win and that's a big if he will be shouting their names from the rooftops claiming they are better. forgetting we have outplayed them in every department last 3 performances. We should try and bully this less physical celtic side with our strength while playing our confident slick football at the same time, and with the amount of players having been rested recently we should be able to field a very strong and fit strongest 11. They say u can take a positive out of every negative situation. So i'm hoping this recent cup exit will allow us to go further in europe with less fixture congestion, while also allowing us not to take our eye off the league. Also showing that anyteam can beat u if they want it more, confidence is a major asset in football but overconfidence can also be a downfall. Onwards and upwards. Let el buffallo loose on the celts to fight for the team and set the standards from the front to the back and hopefully bag a goal or 2. A goal against the tims may just be what he needs to get him firing the goals in again. Fair play to the lads today any team would find it hard against 10 men behind the ball all game so let's look forward as last season this could have set us back. Great victory from a great looking gers team. let's take care of our next games before the oldfirm and give celtic the fear.

Don’t care what anyone says but to set up 5-5-0 you don’t deserve to win any football match I have a lot of friends that are mwell fans and they are wanting there manager out the door.

Really was delighted how we got the 3 points against a team with absolutely everyone behind the ball,
which is difficult to break down, no matter how good a team you are 😁A massive 3 points for us, the sort that wins league titles 👍I agreed with KT and the sponsors that kemar roofe was the motm 👍Roofe is a quality player and were seeing the fruits now he's fit and playing week in week out. He already has a very good goalscoring record for rangers 👌 He's a very good finisher and is superb on the half turn, with terrific close control! When we played at home in UEFA cup we never played like motherwell today. yes we were defensive but we still played football and attacked when we could. motherwell made anti football worse . that's not football that they played.82% possession today for rangers must be a record. I've not seen stats but I'd imagine high percentage in there 3rd of the pitch. i'd be absoloutly ripping if rangers played like motherwell did today.

I think Tav switched off for their goal, we deserved the 3 points as we totally controlled the match, Roofe and Itten did the business today, I think Defoe is better used off the bench TBH, but he is still sharp in and around the 6 yard box. Good 3 points, better to have the 16 point lead + a 23goal cushion, much better than games in hand.

I know its not pretty and its a poor advert for our game but if teams think that they will get something from the game against us then they will set up like that. Absolutely delighted we won in the end this afternoon, in what was a big win/ big statement, the way we came back and won in the last 17 minutes or so in that game today 😁 Motherwell got what they deserved from the game, with their complete anti-football approach 😂Two banks of 5 of complete negative football,
which is hard of course for any team to break down 🤔We stuck at it and ground them down in the end 👍I was absolutely over the moon with this important win, with the way the game was going, in which will/ could be so crucial towards us winning the league at the end of the season! A mention on roofe, who's now fit and proving what a quality signing he's becoming for us 👌 Always thought the guy was a class act once we got him fit and so its proving! His goal ratio for us is quite superb TBH 👌
My cousin who's a leeds utd season ticket holder along with practically all leeds utd supporters always stated, that once roofe gets fit, he'd be an amazing signing for us and so its proving! The leeds supporters love the guy and obviously rate him very highly and actually didn't want him sold to anderlecht in the first place 👍He is tremendous on the turn, with terrific close control and an eye for goal 👀He's already looking like an absolute bargain for what we paid anderlecht for him👌.

I said in an earlier thread about seeing this movie before, and we are going to get plenty re-runs of the park the bus defense right up till the end. There is no team going to do us any favours so the players must step up every game, and today, that's what they done.

BMGH01- There are a lot of very intelligent posters on this site, you can tell by their posts. There are a lot of various opinions (after all, we wouldn't do if we were all the same ) . The different opinions are great reading, however, what isn't great reading is other Rangers supporters on here having a pop at someone else's opinion just because they are not in agreement . You know who you are! So have word with yourselves, absolutely no need for it.

Look, this is a forum open to all opinions, and unless someone is being threatening or abusive, I'm sure our ED's can't ban anyone just for being a walloper. If that was the case, I'd be long gone!
Keep posting mate, your passion and enthusiasm you show for Rangers is refreshing in amongst all the doom and gloom!

For me folk are looking too much into tactics st Mirren used against us in my opinion we had an off night we weren't at it. A thought we never pressed the ball as we normally do. Let Motherwell play any tactics they like, if we play to our best no team in Scotland can live with us FACT 4-0 today.

See a load if posts people worried that teams will set up like St Mirren did. I'm pretty sure most teams know what threat we provided from FB before midweek and I'm sure teams tried to stop it before aswell its easier said than done. They surprised us with their play and tactics so it shouldn't happen again. I genuinely think St Mirren are quite good tho, Really well organised and fit. Think you'll see a fired up Rangers today 5-1.

Agreed, St Mirren played well, and pressed us all game. Lot of courage to go up the park for the winner in injury time.

Southend I agree Bassey had a poor game but he got very little help from Balogun aribo or Kent.
