Weirdly I had the same thought and saw he hadn't been playing. at the front of the diamond mid would give a lot of creativity that we're missing. I thought he did really well in a poor team last time

I think what we are really needing is, an enforcer a Terry Butcher John Brown even Terry Hurlock, who might not have been the best of players but could take a game by the scruff of the neck or give other players a kick up the arse when needed.

We need to start looking at why our players can't perform at ibrox. Is it the weight of expectation? Is it the fans giving players a hard time? Is it the size of the pitch? Players mentality? Ibrox if i remember correctly was a fortress. Teams like barcelona rolled up and couldn't take a win off us. Teams were terrified of facing us at our home. Now not so much.

Just a thought what do you think makes a good manager? What qualities would a Ranger manager need to demonstrate to be great for us? Knows how to organize a team. Set a team up to stop another team playing. Motivating players to run through brick walls. To make average players play to their best. Be a Rangers man. Has worked with a director of football and managing director. Knows british/ scottish football. Brings through the youth gives them a chance. Signs players who support Rangers knows what the clubs all about. Speaks well to the press. Ensures the players are fit and can run for 90 mins. Works on set pieces. Plays attacking free flowing 'Guardiola' style football. Would the following managers be any good?

Id rather we were a physical solid unit that plays as a team and wins games rather than play "sexy football" because right now we can't do either. That kind of set up with someone to support morelos up front.
In terms of a manager we need a leader and winner at the club, someone who will accept nothing less than 100% from everyone in every game.

But. hate guys like McGregor, lafferty and naisy.
It's all about improving the squad me for, Charlie Adam had the boo boys up here also, he would stroll it as the league stands present day, someone tell me Herrera is better than lafferty? Pena better than naisy?

Kaymer. What a ludicrous statement. You telling me you didn't cheer once when he scored 9 goals against Celtic including 5 at the piggery. what about the cup final winner against St Mirren when we were down to 9 men. I rarely comment here but you have just won bam of the year with that belter. Go get a life. Kenny Miller, whilst no longer in his prime, has shown more fight and desire than any of the current team. I for one am gutted that he has suffered what could turn out to be a career ending injury and hope to see him continue in football as a coach or manager one day.

Kaymer . talk us thru what u did when Kenny scored against St Mirren. I've read some utter rubbish on here. . usually daily. but that beats the lot. If it were true, which it clearly isn't, then u would be one sad individual. Kenny Millers commitment and attitude has never been in doubt.

I would’ve had Lafferty back. He’s doing well at hearts. I also thought he actually showed some class by not celebrating when he scored against us. Not to mention his celebrations against Celtic 😂 then you get guys like Broadfoot who acts like a clown at Ibrox. I’d have Naisy back as well. Who cares what they said. They’d get stuck in against Celtic which is something we’ve been badly missing against them recently

Kenny has done plenty for this football club, so much so I couldn’t care less he played for Celtic.
Is he not into double figures against the mhanky mob? Scored goals that brought home titles and cups.
I personally would have him in the hall of fame (he can have Davie Wiers spot) and in the coaching staff when he retires.

I will always love kenny Miller. he's been a great servent for us. I also wish we signed big lafferty. we need winners something out squad lacks players who have won titles and cups our squad is majorly lacking in that department imo

Pulis would be a great appointment. His teams in the premiership would never win it regardless of manager, when managing in a league he was expected to compete in Stoke finished 2nd 2 points behind winners West Brom. The championship is clearly a tougher league than ours so I'd be more than happy with him in charge. Only downside is he doesn't promote the youth but with Murty pushing for this and a few good young players he might be willing to. Could do a lot worse in my opinion, with Pulis in charge you'll beat the teams you should beat and be difficult to beat against Celtic.

Would like wee Naisey back but not sure about Adam, I didn't really fancy him first time round but that may well be just my personal opinion. If he banged in a few goals no doubt l would say he was awesome. Long winded way to say I'm on the fence regarding Charlie.
