Agent ITK talks more bs than Snowy the Dug, take what he posts wae a pinch of salt.

Ally Mitchell

Believable4 Unbelievable1

Technically, it's Wullie O'Hara who talks bs, Snowy the dug just provides the platform in which he can talk to Whittakers maw n dad when out walking.

Glasgow Rangers champions!

Wullie O'Hara is a reliable source lol. He hasn't posted for a while has he? Wullie how is Whittakers dad doing?

Who of the regulars that post with names would like to see Boyd back, whether it be as a squad player on low wages or whatever. I would provided he accepts he is a squad player and we don't pay him much.

GovanFR

Believable13 Unbelievable1

I would love Boyd back. I cant think of anyone with anywhere near the goal scoring ability of Boyd that we could realistically afford. It's the closest thing to a big name signing as we could possibly get.

The Fifer

Agree9 Disagree2

I think it would be a great capture by ally, he is a proven goalscorer up here! MainStandBear.

Agree6 Disagree2

I would, how can you turn down kris boyd on a free he would be a great sub, could even start im sure jela would set up loads for him *ksd*

Agree4 Disagree2

Yeah cos Jela will still be with you after Jan ya numpty!! ;)
CB

Agree0 Disagree4

Boyd and lafferty up front...i couldn`t think of anything wors./biggles

Agree1 Disagree5

There is a strong chance that Jelavic refuses to leave in January, if he were to sign for Liverpool for example and not play he would miss out on getting in the Croatia squad for Euro 2012. Boyd and Jelavic could be quite good together actually.

GovanFR

Agree6 Disagree0

I cannot argue with Boyds record but one problem, he didn't really create his goals himself and going by recent performances we are not creating chances the now. Blue4ever

Agree3 Disagree0

Biggles what about Federico Nieto and Egil Ostenstad?

Agree1 Disagree2

I'd take him back on a free but I don't think he would do much at the moment. We need someone who can create a goal not just be there to finish someone elses work. Jela will be off in Jan and with Naisy injured I think Boyd would just have to sit tight until we got someone in that could set him up.

Baybear

Agree0 Disagree0

Kris Boyd on a free is a no brainer. If only we could find somebody who will create chances for him on a regular basis.

Gerry The Ger.

Agree5 Disagree0

I was never a boyd fan because alot of people used 2 compare him with mccoist & my answer 2 that was if mccoist got 6 chances during a game he would take at least 2or3, where as boyd would take 1, but I would have him back as I think the penny had finally dropped with him just before he left us, he started doing the work that was asked of him so I think this time around he would be up for it straight away
NTYABOW

Agree5 Disagree0

Aye,id take him back purely as hes another option with a proven goal scoring record in scotland (scored more than larsson) lol! we have very few options and as hes available for nowt, why not.
drumlad

Agree2 Disagree0

I would have boyd hes a fat hooper but with a better goal scoring recored
gazza72

Agree1 Disagree0

I'd take him back, we all know what he can do and we've been crying out for some depth upfront! As for the fat and lazy stuff, people clearly haven't seen him lately!

Agree0 Disagree0

Would take him back in a minute GovanFR born goal scorer and that's what we are lacking at the moment goals

BB1

Agree0 Disagree0

Didn't fancy the move last night, kinda wouldn't mind him back now. I'm really torn on this. We need goals, which Boyd can give us. But our midfield is struggling to create so can we affort a player like Boyd who offers so little in his all round game??
J1985

Agree1 Disagree0

He is a rotund unenergetic incompotent fool.

Agree0 Disagree0

Id defo take him back now, we need a p0artner for Jela - he is a proven goal scorer, and i can do my old coupon, Boyd, 2- 0 at Ibrox, never lets you down lol

Jas

Agree1 Disagree0

Boyd will not be back at Gers. He is on 40k per week. He will sit there and suck up the cash till he gets a better offer or something 20k+.

We are not going to get a look in unless he gets homesick.

GB

Agree0 Disagree0

Problem with boyd will b a tax issue as he will owe money from working o/seas.will he come without a signing fee 2 cover this.

Agree0 Disagree0

Short memories folks, offered one of the best contracts to resign but went chasing the money. lets face it he did,nt go to boro to improve his game or win trophies did he.

Agree0 Disagree1

I'd take him back in a heartbeat! If we let go of crap like Healy, Ortiz, Broadfoot and let Weir go even though he's been a great servant then his wages are easily covered. I think he'd take 10k a week to get his career back on track.

People sayng we need delivery to hi but Auko and Wylde look lively and if Davis got on form with Edu or Mculloch clearing up then Boyd and Jela up front could be pretty good!

just a question for anyone who may know, why was stjohnstone v celtic not on skysports or espn yesterday? because usually if one of the old firm teams plays away it is on one of they tv stations

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I think they are only allowed the gers or them a certain amount of times ,obviously didnt fancy yesterdays game.. not 100% sure though

Agree0 Disagree0

It was never selected as a live game and was originally to be played on Saturday but due to Celtics Europa League involvement was moved to Sunday that's all. Blue4ever

Agree1 Disagree0

It was on Sunday due to Europa, and they had three EPL matches booked so it didn't fit in to Sky's schedule. Rangers had at least two SPL away games not televised last season.

Who's all for the standing areas back at Ibrox? Take away the seats in the enclosures the capacity will rise to 70,000. Ibrox is the one of safest stadium in Scotland to have a standing area.
FF81

Believable8 Unbelievable0

Im all for it because i reckon the atmosphere would be better

Agree5 Disagree0

My mate follows German football & says standing or the wall as some of them call it says it the best.

Remember it a little a parkhead but was to young to remember it, but how did it work if your a season ticket for the standing areas ? Think overall it might do the spl a good turn ?

Kris Boyd has terminated his contract at the turkish club, lets see how many rumours start that he is coming back to the champs. lol
phoenix7928

Believable2 Unbelievable1

I hope there are no foundation in any rumour about boyd coming back cause he is fat and lazy and not good enough

Agree5 Disagree3

Phoenix7928 according to all the rumours Kris Boyd will sign in January. I've had 3 texts today saying its a FACT that he will sign when the window opens lmao.
FF81

Agree3 Disagree0

Bulls**t mate he scored over a hundred goals and you say he isn't good enough a will welcome anybody who can score 20 plus a season he might be lazy but he can score in this league and if he can do that i will welcome him back to ibrox get him back super ally you know a good scorer when you see one he went for the money time it was a mistake get over it because a know if he did come back majority of fans would accept him and knowbody can denie it

Campbell

Agree2 Disagree3

McCoist and Boyd don't get on.That was a well known fact around Ibrox and Murray Park.McCoist thought he was lazy and should have been working harder to better himself.Remember when Sir Walter and Boyd fell out before the 2009 CIS cup final?Ally took Sir Walters side and tore a strip off Boyd infront of the rest of the first team.Boyd has flopped since he left.I say he made his bed let him lie in it,he had his chance and left,I'm fed up with fans wanting these players to return after they have turned their back on our club.Do we need Boyd swaggering about playing top dog again when our backs are against the wall financially.Let him bum around the lower leagues of England,he will want good money as well, money us and him know the club would struggle to find.

NO BOYD AT MY BELOVED CLUB

Agree4 Disagree4

To me jelavic is being linked with half the EPL so if he goes whyte gets money signs Boyd & I'm sure jelavic wages cover boyd wages? To me it would be a great bit of business for whyte & pulls the wool over the fans as he pockets the jelavic money ?

Infact a would even go to the bookies the now & put a bet on Boyd signing lol

McKay has come to Rangers off the back of a few qualifiers for Australlia.
Bedoya was playing domestic football in Sweden while our players were on their summer holidays.
The 2 of have have probably played 3 full games between them?
How can you judge after such a short period of time?
I know Bedoya missed a absolute stick on against Killie a few weeks back but i'm sure McKay got an assist on his first full start against Dundee Utd for Jelavic's opener. Give the guys a chance i say.

J1985

Believable12 Unbelievable5

J1985 you are correct the problem in this country is if you are not doing it from the off in this country you are s**te, every1 on internet forums are so good at football that they are sitting at a pc writing about all these players, so lets put it another way I have been giving davis & wylde it tight for a while because they are playing pure pish, davis was a bit better on sat but wylde was shocking, people on here tell me I am talking pish & they are 2 great players, your point about mckay is correct, also the game against killie bedoya had about 3 chances at least he got in the positions 2 have the chances, but I am going 2 mention 1 other player who is going 2 send the he's s**te bandwagon off on 1 stand up ortiz when I have seen this guy play I have very rarely seen him give the ball away & he has also made a few assists the ball he played 2 lafferty at motherwell was the best pass I have seen from a RANGERS player this season I am by no means saying he is messi but he is not as bad as the he's s**te bandwagon are making out

I really want Kris Boyd back, his goalscoring record speaks for itself and he's a lifelong Rangers supporter. He never once said anything bad about Rangers, he said he loves the club but needs a new challenge as he's achieved everything with Rangers but when he left he said he misses Rangers.

Bring back Boydy.

19 Dec 2011 16:35:00
Hi Ed, Just seen on SSN, Kris Boyd has terminated contract at that Turkish club, do you think - 1, he would come back, - 2, he would be wanted back? Would i be right in saying that he could sign straight away if a deal was agreed or would it need to wait til jan? TheBigMan WATP {Ed014's Note - If he is a free agent he can sign at anytime.I think he would jump at the chance to return,he has been a bit of a disaster since he left.

Believable4 Unbelievable0

19 Dec 2011 16:31:13
rumour that goodwillie is coming on loan in january is not true he cant play for 3 teams in 1 season. doorans from west brom will be signing with us tho and templeton can terminate his contract on 29th december if he doesnt recieve and wages so he will probably end up at ibrox same as kris boyd and lovenkrands will return for free. jelavic doesnt want to leave until the summer to make sure he plays at euro 2012.

Believable2 Unbelievable1

19 Dec 2011 16:28:42
I feel signing Boyd and driver plus keeping jelavic would win us the league.

Mcshagger
Whittker, goian, Boca, papac/Wallace
Aluko, davis, bartley/Ness, driver
Jelavic, boyd

Rablam

Believable4 Unbelievable3

Driver hisny kicked his own arse for about 2 seasons now. id much prefer templeton on the right, aluko out left. i see no lafferty!! you would seriously replace lafferty with boyd? if laff isn't scoring he's running the channels or tracking back. if boyds not scoring were a man down.
j1985

Agree5 Disagree0

19 Dec 2011 15:50:34
So Boyd has had his contract terminated. I would actually take him back now, we wouldn't need to pay him much, we need a goalscorer, he will no longer think he's a superstar and put it this way is he better than our Summer signings? I'd certainly rather see him on the team sheet than Bedoya, Ortiz or McKay. Not a replacement for Jelavic but a potential partner.

GovanFR

Believable6 Unbelievable4

What's wrong with mcKay? Ortiz granted is p**h. Bedoya isn't too bad either hasn't had enough games to judge.

Agree1 Disagree4

Boyd is mince, his ego is his main problem, you really think he would improve your team? I personally think he would ruin your dressing room spirit!

DazzaBhoy

Agree2 Disagree5

Dazza, some of the fringe players we have are mince. Boyd had an arrogance about him, I agree, but failing at two clubs will probably have taken him down a peg or two. I think he always got on well with the other players, I'd have him back. To the guy above, maybe it's too early to judge McKay but I see nothing in Bedoya, I actually see more in Ortiz than I do Bedoya.

GovanFR

Agree5 Disagree1

Bedoya is uter pish - were you at ibrox on sat:? he had a total nightmare, Mckay is up for debate. Not proven himself yet but I think he may come good.

Jason

Agree3 Disagree4

Aye I was at Ibrox on Saturday. Season ticket in the CR. McKay hasn't had the chance to prove himself.
In what way was bedoya p**h? He made an effort and burst his arse running granted to little effect. Look at Edu the man jogs everywhere! Not once did I see him in the box when Wylde attempted a cross.

A lot of people seem to be very negative on a return for SPL prolific goal scorer Kris Boyd even though it is kind of the same situation to that of Barry Ferguson when he received a heros return from the majority of Rangers fans back in 2005 after he left us to enhance his career and his bank balance. Boyd has a history of putting the ball in the back of the net and it is something that we have struggled to do the last 4 or 5 games. If Boyd is in good condition, hasn’t lost his goalscoring ability and has learned a few tricks from his travels and we can keep hold of Jelavic it provide a quite devastating strikeforce that will lead us easily to four in a row

I honestly think the teddy bears should sign Farid El Allagui (spelling) from falkirk, the lad looks extremely athletic, quick, good in the air and scores for fun, I realise he's not in a fantastically hard league but surely he would still thrive on the chances he would get in the SPL !!! I've seen him on certain sites on the Internet and at 1st hand and I'm quite surprised at how good he is, I hope Ally takes a gamble on him coz I don't think Falkirk could knock back a couple of hundred grand !!

Believable6 Unbelievable0

Why would we not take Boyd back? on average wages. We need goals and he is proven to get them. Who cares if he lift for more many. 99% of us with a family would have done the same. With Jela setting him up he could return to goal scoring form and easily repay the value of a free transfer!

Believable6 Unbelievable4

He has just been released today from Turkish club

Agree1 Disagree0

I actually think this would be good deal. we certainly need someone who can convert the chances we are creating, and sometime dig up a goal from nothing.
He has realised the grass isn't greener and would probably welcome the move back.. not saying it would be a great signing but he is the top SPL striker.

rikkisixx

Agree1 Disagree1

Sad very sad the way you all would welcome him back. done the same thing with miller did not want him back and then didnt stand by your principles.

Agree2 Disagree3

Not everyone moaned about Miller and the ones that did looked f**king idiots when he was banging the goals away (particularly against Celtic). That said, Boyd is no Miller and he would have a lot more to prove if he returned. He only scored the goals he did through the work of others and a truckload of penalties. He'd have to get the finger out sharpish if he was to come back, Jury's out!

What's all this chat with Bendiksen in the starting 11 by the way. To many fans out they're who really don't know football.

Because he had a few good touches in a friendly against Hamburg he is suddenly an outstanding player.

I've not watched him action but my guess would be that he is by no means the finished article.

Believable2 Unbelievable6

How is he supposed to become the finished article if he doesn't get a game then? You just have to look across the city at Celtic. I believe a young guy called James Forrest is pretty decent at the moment??!!

Alright lads, Can't see anything other than a defeat at Parkhead if we dont improve fast. Every team we play just passes us off the park Now is this something Ally isnt seeing or do you think he just doesnt know how to stop it. At the start of the season teams couldnt cope with us now we look flat every week. I know Naismith is out but come on surely we have enough to be putting a few goals past teams.

BlueBear

Agree1 Disagree1

It is grim watching just now Blue bear, but no-one can predict the Old Firm Games. Thats the magic about them, Personally because its a big game against Celtic, I think we'll fair well as we will be on the back foot for much of the game. The defensive live up suits us here and can see us starting with pace on the wings to try and counter and snatch something. I think Celtic may punch themselves out early on and we will take 1-0 later on in the 2nd half

Rikkisixx

Agree1 Disagree1

We have hit a wee dip in form, old firm games take care of themselves and you can throw the form book oot the windae ! I just want to see a bit more fight and a bit of hurt if we lose a goal, and when we take the lead, start killing teams off. We are too nice just now, and that is a weakness......... just my opinion Bears, but we need to muddy it up when teams are on top. AndyPandy63

Just thought i would put any rumors or eve speculation about Jordan Rhodes to rest .... it was thought rangers or Celtic as with a few epl clubs were going to place bids of around 2-3 million for Rhodes after his first few games of the season ... since then his tally has went to 19 goals in 18 appearances ... including 4 hat tricks ....

As a result interest has now went from old firm and low levbel english clubs ... to spurs arsenal and Liverpool ...

The deal which would take Rhodes to the epl will go down as the highest fee ever paid for a Scottish intentional

Believable0 Unbelievable5

Healy, ortiz and broadfoot would be 100k at most

Agree3 Disagree0

Scott Allan is never 1 million Greg halford explain who that is because i have never heard of him

Agree1 Disagree1

There will be no big money moves full stop.

Craig Whytes plan at present is to try to generate enough cash to get the end of the season and hopefully retain the title thus giving the team the chance of competing in the CL. Monies from the CL would them be used to pay wages for the following season. However, if Whyte cannot raise cash he will be forced to sell big name players which (he will be hoping) will enable him to get to the end of the season without going into administration. But.......by selling big name players this will obviously hinder the hopes of retaining the title which will mean no CL money and a massive risk of insolvency.
And bear in mind, this scenario does not include the outcome of the FTT with HMRC.

Click disagree if you can't see the wood for the trees.

Agree3 Disagree8

I'm not disagreeing that there won't be much money spent, but the winners and 2nd place in the SPL both go into the CL qualifiers at the same stage. Financially, winning the league will have no real benefit. So your reading of Craig Whyte's mind is flawed.

Just a post for all the Jellyfish transfer value doubters , Charlie Adam played well at times in a good Gers side now holding his own i Liverpool side plus Arteta as witnessed yesterday filling a role in a very good Arsenal team only just beaten by Man City, Arteta look very good at TIMES anonymous many games in a good Gers team, these players did not stand out anywhere near as much as Jelly does and remember good strikers that supply and score are so much rarer , we SHOULD BE EXPECTING 10m NOT downplaying him just because SPL is s**te, sad to say and hope i am wrong but he will go to EPL just hope WE get full money not Sunderland selling to Liverpool or another top 6 team for the big money
