Personally I'd love to see Chris brunt of West brom at ibrox the lad grew up a Gers fan. (even has a rangers tattoo) steady 7 every week and tough as as old boots. an play as a left sided centre half. . Rangers minded men to bolster what we already have. Any thoughts or comments.

We only have two wingers fit now with Middleton as back up. I think 4 should be brought in. Attacking mid, winger, centre half and a striker. We are playing a lot of games on all fronts so need these in soon as. Two words to describe going to watch Rangers now - BUZZ BACK 🇬🇧.

Never a penalty, boyd was never a sending off, yellow card right decision. Morelos goal should have stood i agree with that one.

From where I was ( 30 yards away the ch looked like he had both hands wrapped round morelse waist) may be wrong. However I've saw the boyd one again n stand by that's a red points the elbow straight into Katic neck.

Arm wrapped round his body preventing him from running to the ball. I can't see why that is different to Dom Ball pulling Windas' jersey to prevent him from getting to the ball? For me definitely a penalty but Boyd's was never a red card.

Big boydy is a pal of mine from school he doesn't usually resort to that but unless I'm seeing different from you mate he could have avoided that but went out of his way to elbow Katic. Maybe I should watch it sober but saw it a couple of times and that's my opinion on it.

I’d agree that Boyd used his elbow deliberately. Broadfoot shows a dirty side to him when facing rangers . CHris Burke looked a bit like that as well. U probably know my brother from mainholm as well then!

I think big Clubfoot has an issue with us as the last few times against Killie he has been brutal at times. I was disappointed in Boyd as well. Cowardly elbow on big Katic. If that has been the other way we would have been down to 10 men.

Boyd would never have walked off fir that elbow . waddled then maybe . he was like a cart horse all game. Never got a sniff. put on a few pounds too by the look of him . reminded me of the boyd that played fir us before he went there.

Prob will drewsy. Was a year above big boydy but was in school football team with him. Most of the Tarbolton boys could play a bit good wee footballing village got a decent amateur team as well.

i think these sh$&y 3g surfaces should all be banned in the top flight at least, we have the sky deal coming round for renewal no wonder they give scottish football a pitance its embarasing and on the other hand they cause injurys and with now a quarter of top flight clubs playing on them in scotland it just shows our league up for what it is rant over lol.

Looked comfortable on the ball and played really well I felt. Was impressed with him on Thursday also.

Maybe Gerrard will be he making of him in a Rangers shirt?

I feel a lot of Rangers midfielders were brought down the last couple of seasons by a mix of not having a solid back line behind them and poor management.

Agree. He looked a bit shaky on Thursday night but over all, played ok. Thought he played quite well the day. Definitely 7 outta 10. Would love to see him come good.

Decent enough today, took a few tasty challenges too. Thought he provided an out ball and dropped in behind arfield as he pushed forward. He can be happy with that too.

Big Fod done great as well.

Have to admit I was worried when Halliday was picked at LB on Thursday but he did OK and was helped by being covered by Arfield. When picked in midfield today I was a bit worried again but he was even better. Maybe like when Rodgers went to them and improved some of their strugglers Stevie is going to do the same with the likes of Andy H. Hope so -good on you Andy!

when murphy comes back we could lone jones back out in jan or loan glen out for the last 6 months if he has not had enough game time by then.

Yeah judging by Stevie G reaction in interview it doesn’t look good for Murphy at all. Not only that the two centre halfs took nocks and if one of them is out we have real problems 🇬🇧.

Murphy's injury is almost certain to see the lafferty deal going thru very soon imo. The big guy is comfortable playing left side as well as lone striker.

If Murphy is out long term I don't think we need to replace him, we have options in wide areas also means we could use Flanagan and barasic at full back and move tav further forward.

Allfreeedo morreeeeeeloss, I love that guy man! The way he is playing now is amazing, I expected to see this from him last season, he did show glimpses of it but he's doing it consistently now! Imagine we let him go there and he started playing like that for another team! We'd be kicking ourselves.

Many on here know I had a real Morelos issue but has the wee guy forced me to change my mind been outstanding so far this season still have a concern about his hot head but wow we have a gem on our hands shows what proper man management can do I hope the Halliday haters can give the boy a break he's been solid in what he's been asked to do and it obvious SG sees a good quality squad player. great result in that pitch hope murphys injury not too bad.

Good man DLC, last year for sure we all wanted so much more from the whole team. easy to pick out strikers if they aren't scoring but even then i could see he was about the only one trying. maybe just too much. but i am so glad we are now seeing the best of him now.

Broadfoot a definitely fud. faining a foul for a free kick ( summit he was great at when with us ) then going soatebehen we do it . at the end of the day alfredo got hat trick and Broadfoot left with egg on his face again. without even putting it in the microwave this time.

Alfredo is playing the way we've all been waiting for. This is what I wanted to see from him all along. A strong presence and a real handful for Kilmarnock. Pitch is horrendous though and I've lost count of the amount of players that have slipped on it today. C'mon the Rangers!

100% Mate but everyone on that tv was talking about the linesman, what's worse is that the ref was but 3 feet from it, Morelos was brilliant and well done to Fod and Halliday both played very well.

McGregor has been rested for today's game, Couilbally injured and Jack on the bench. Thoughts on score today and where is the League Cup in our priorities this season? For me, the league title is no.1 and the Europa League group stages a massive bonus if it happens. League Cup 4th on my list of priorities after the Scottish Cup. As a point of interest, I got 125/ 1 for Gers to win the Europa League 3 or 4 weeks ago. Worth a tenner!

A bit of reality needed here with some fans
We are miles ahead of where anyone would have put us 12 months ago. But we've only played 2 league games, not 100% great but much improved.
Europa is a huge bonus, IF we get to group stages, that would be a statement no doubt, but would drain our resources massively between now and xmas.
Some already have us winning the league? Been here, have half a dozen t shirts. Let's enjoy where we are and hang on tight for the ride ahead.

After listening to some negativity towards Ejaria on here and at Ibrox I decided to watch the Maribor game again this morning. I personally think he's a very good player so I watched the game to analyse his performance. He had an excellent game and put in a massive shift. He stopped Maribor getting forward on numerous occasions causing them to play the ball backwards well over 30 times with his press. Got the Gers up the park several times with good accurate passing creating opportunities for others and was at the heart of the move that led to Halliday chalked off goal. Defensive headers from corners were very good. Passing accuracy was very high. I only seen him give the ball away twice the whole game. Replaced by Kent mid second half as SG seen more chances coming our way as Maribor had to take risks. Got slated by Alex Rae in commentary for his effort to get out of a tight situation with Alex saying stepovers are not exceptable at this level. What a stupid thing to say. I'm sure his comments led to some of the criticism that came the lads way. He was actually fouled at the time and should have won a free kick for his efforts. Over all he played a really good game with a very mature performance for one so young away from home in Europe and I'm sure SG was delighted with him. Well done Ovie Ejaria keep up the good work and you will stay in the team on merit and not because Klopp says so. 😉.

I agree with you but I also agree there is a time and place for fancy stuff, probably not under pressure deep in your own half.

I do like the lad, but (probably with his age), he has a moment of madness in him, good thing now though is he can rely on his team mates to get his back.

I think he's a decent player but is lacking experience. He seems to work too hard but my concern is whether he can stand up when things aren't going well. Although he's got players around him who won't be fazed so that'll help. If there is some clause regarding his playing time then that would disappoint me as a player can't have that freedom.
