I've been away for 4 months and come back and find we're still in a mess Think I've been proved right (sadly) about Green and his cronies and to be honest not sure the ones trying to take his place are any better. As usual it is still the fans who are suffering, when are we going to get back to the club we once were?

Bobby, if you mean back to like it was under SDM I'm afraid the answer is simple. Never.

Agree0 Disagree0

God to see you back Bobby you spoke a lot of sense abot Green only to be called an imposter from the east end.

Agree0 Disagree0

@2 As an eastender I think you will find it was mostly people from his own side who called him an imposter, selective memory old bean. Your right though it's good to see someone with a bit of honesty and integrity back on these page's ( apart from once eh Bobby LOL )

The wages can't be that good if Blacks even betting against us haha, what's happened to us?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

No more EBTS. ! So now players pay 50% tax, and need to earn elsewhere.

Wow, you act as some sort of brain of Britain. It has taken you so long to realise that the missing £20m is not genuine operating costs but has been whisked away by Green & co, dah!

Of course it has, that's what the EGM is about. I know you probably don't read the papers (good or bad) as you are too busy at school or making up stupid theories or watching cultural movies.

Green's bonus of £350k has paid back most of his initial £500k investment, and you can bet the rest has been recovered twice over. And he still owns £5m shares for nothing, not bad if you can get away with it. You know this bonus that was awarded for the "worst ever Rangers team" that he declares almost daily, well if I was him I would be thinking they were the best ever.

Much is made of the fact that McColl did not invest and Green will use that to beat him time after time, completely ignoring that he himself is not happy with 41p per share profit but wants 69p per share.

It is clear that the institutional investors are not happy with Green etc and if he is gone they may be more likely to invest more rather than selling at a hefty loss, if that happens the share price will improve which will make Green more money. He is not happy at that thought because he will no longer be due hefty bonuses and the rest that he can extract.

This is what the EGM is about, Gaz.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Agree with everything you said gaz good post we need green out

Taking your anger out on Gaz won't help you OP. And I for one wasnt aware of the leaseback of ibrox scandal that may or may not come to pass. That said, I do agree Gaz should concentrate more on school. Perhaps he could turn all this into a modern studies project?

Agree0 Disagree0

First off, who are you? A name might tie you down to previous comments, it may even tie you down to being the whistleblower who realised this from day one, oh kudos you. Have you been going on about this for ages, where are the posts?

And so to what you actually did write and what do you know a flaw before the first line is over. The money is not "missing" IT IS SPENT, mark my words forensic accounting won't find it "missing". It has been systematically overspent. So what your saying I "just realised" I have never said at all. I think you'll find that to be flaw number two in your piece. You are accusing them of theft, I am saying they have overspent, any legal distinctions there that you find between what I actually said and what you think I said? I think there are more than a few.

It is not what the EGM is about, the EGM is strictly about removing several board members and replacing them with others (Blin and Murray) and therefore getting a good look at the running of the club and it's accounts no doubt. Flaw three and counting. (Will you reach 54?)

Flaw four, you're not to know this but you said it not me, I'm decades out of school sadly. Flaw five, didn't I say I only believed the Turnberry story when I read it in a newspaper? Didn't I say Glenn Gibbons (of The Scotsman) quoted McCoist's yearly wage as £760,000. Now maybe it does take a brain of Britain to presume that I read newspapers but there you have it, you are obviously not a brain of Britain.

I can't begin to fathom out what your inane Green paragraphs have to do with me? Who's is this rant about me or Green? You seem to have a villain identity crisis going on in paragraphs three to five. (You need a better editor/bigger brain - delete as appropriate. )

So in summation you know buggar all about me, little about the EGM, less still about what has actually happened to the money and have the business acumen of a walnut.

If I was back at school I think the report card would read COULD DO BETTER!

Now either jog on, find a name, a villain or a brain and then get back to me.

2moro I predict will be the day the negativity finally ends at Ibrox. green will be gone and ally and the team can concentrate fully on the league and ramsdens and scottish cup. remember these words. happy days WILL be here again soon.

good riddance to green and ahmad btw

@4 Good one, best joke i've seen on here in a while.

Agree0 Disagree0

@4 SERIOUSLY?

Ally the worst manager in our history?

If boardroon IS sorted out the next move is to get rid of him and his backroom old pals club

THEN WE MIGHT HAVE A CHANCE OF PROGRESSING

I doubt either will happen the crooks are gathering shares and allies everyday to protect the "Great Stdium Robbery" as it has been acurately called

Ed, I suggest this thread should be lifted and placed on a new page called "Rangers Handbags".

Agree0 Disagree0

It's being happening for months if you just buried your head in the sand then maybe it's times like this that will show the real mess. Green won't go or of he does he will own all the assets. There is no way in hell that green will leave ibrox and not have his hand in his pie somewhere. I also believe a business man is needed. A business man with no football ties could save rangers before anymore damage is done. Cut the wage bill etc.

I will be surprised if all theses 'new signings' get signed up on sept 1st too. The fans have lined the pockets again but if another admin comes in then will there ever be anothe team playing at Ibrox?

“Scottish FA charge The Rangers midfielder Ian Black with breaching betting rules – tv”

Believable0 Unbelievable0

If proved true Black will be sacked by the club which at least helps the wage bill

Agree0 Disagree0

Between March 4 2006 and July 28 2013. Haha he actually thought Albion Rovers were going to beat you? He truly is a mentalist. I'll say this for you, you do the sublime to the ridiculous like no club in the world. Forgive typos if there are any, tears of laughter are obscuring my view.

Gaz

Agree0 Disagree0

Please explain to me what this has got to do with the Club Gaz? Apart from us signing him in the 1st place. Your posts ridiculous mate Black has just sh@t on his own door step bit the hand that feeds him. Hope he gets the bullet with immediate effect if this is true as I know someone who knows him very well & he doesn't care if we win lose or draw aslong as he gets his 7k a week. Just F@ck right off Ian Black your a waste of space. He probably started off Betting himself to get sent off then when the prices dropped he started betting against his team.

@ gaz get it right and dry your
eyes from 2006 to 2013 he bet
on his teams to lose and WIN
but again with your superior

billy h

Agree0 Disagree0

What a brilliant signing he's turned out to be. Total value for money, a real team player and not in any way a complete chavy d!ckh3ad with limited footballing ability.

Thanks for your contribution to dignified return to the top Iain.

We really have so much to be proud of. so so much!

Agree0 Disagree0

If he has breached the rules whilst a rangers player I expect the club dismisses him accordingly. Not much we can do if it wasnt whem he was our player.

Agree0 Disagree0

And hopefully that's the last we see him in a rangers strip. Bye.

Agree0 Disagree0

No Gaz your way way of here
the bookie does, nt give a monkeys about a loosing bet
hes backed the gers. correct score?

Agree0 Disagree0

Oh we'll, where's that paint brush! Wotta walloper.

Agree0 Disagree0

Wm Hill are offering 3/1 he will be sacked. Their head office reported that a man wearing a rangers tracksuit and fitting his description placed a large bet this afternoon on C Green staying on at Rangers LOL

Agree0 Disagree0

Larky of course it's not Rangers fault and tensions are high so everything is prickly but surely this is the very type of banter thing that both clubs would love on the other? The irony is that he scored for Rangers in the game FFS! Another example of a player (and every club has them, mine included) who may have a higher shirt number than IQ.

Billy h, three of the games have him specifically betting on his club NOT WINNING, they mention a start and end date (as did I) and those games were ICT 0 Motherwell 1 in 2006 when he was a ICT player. Then last was Rangers at home to Albion Rovers where they won 4-0 and he scored. Keep up Billy h this is already common knowledge. So yet again, it looks like I got it right, you want my towel for those moist eyes?

To guys like you Larky I apologise, it was banter but of course way outwith what the club controls but as I said this is banter manna, moreso because it was Albion Rovers and he actually backed them or draw lol. You are spot on, I think he's finished, backing against the team, goalscorer or not, does not sit right with anyone.

Gaz

Agree0 Disagree0

@6, He is off regardless of which club he was with.

Agree0 Disagree0

19 Aug 2013 20:48:57
if I was you gaz i'd be more worried that yer team is up against a team thta beat a team in Rround 1 that beat bayern last year and if they beat you which I think they will your season will be in tatters as even you say celtic need european champs league.

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm not the Gaz that signed in by the way, hi Gaz, all the more reason not to now lol.

@9) He has 160 charges I think.
3 involving games where he backed against his club (be it draw or defeat).
10 involving his club (presumaby backing them in one way or another, win, correct score, first scorer etc).
147 other regular bets.

I managed a bookies for three years, trust me, they give a s***, hence how good they are at telling you even dates when he did it and the first 3 charges are games he played in and backed draw or opposition. As out of order as it gets.

Gaz

Agree0 Disagree0

@14/ Your having a laugh eh? They beat a team that beat a team! Celtic beat Barca remember carrying luck it has to be said but that could apply to your theory. Just concentrate on the ramsdens mate.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hmmm what happened to innocent until PROVEN guilty? He might not even have bet against rangers, was he not at ICT and HMFC between 2006 an 2012 till we signed him.? So what if he bet against those other teams. If he didn't bet against Rangers who really gives a Fork!

Agree0 Disagree0

Ayrbear. The dates released include his Rangers career.

im a big rangers fan but its good to see a player I never liked nor rated sliding away.
Spurs because the manager was crazy, until harry took a look and got rid of him. Aston Villa because of McLeish, loan to sunderland sent back, loan to forest because of mcleish sent back, and loan to mallorca and guess what sent back and now lambert at villa releases him. can anyone believe this player with a bad attitude has been traded for combined fees of 13 million. who why Alan Hutton of course the example of a player with no talent who can still make it to the top with the right luck.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

You never rated him but he can still make it?

Agree0 Disagree0

Get over it, good luck to the guy. He was pretty decent when he played for us and we received a good fee for him.

Agree0 Disagree0

Just a tad over the top don't you think old chap, I would have him back in a flash, and I think I speak for an awful lot of gers supporters. trueblue.

Agree0 Disagree0

@3 think he would rather not sign for anybody rather than sign for rangers in this state.

Agree0 Disagree0

The guy is still Scotland's number 1 Right Back & was easily the best player in the league his last season at Rangers. Give me all that money & reputation il turn into an @rsehole aswell.

Agree0 Disagree0

20 Aug 2013 06:15:55
Stupid post if ever I read one. He never set the transfer fee to Spurs and the same money clearly (now) was needed to keep us afloat. Still looked a decent player at wembley. His main fault then and now is he stands off the guy he is marking too much, but he is still decent going forward.

the Easdales are just ar&e lickers to green, it does not matter if green wins the vote which he will not, the shares will crash and the investors will run for cover, leaving Dave King waiting to pounce one way or another the spivs brigade is coming to an end

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I think there will be twist with easdale and green, it would come as no great surprise to me if easdale has got another agenda but has to play along with green for now.

Do any of you remember the "Saverangers FC" campaign? This was a website where fans pledged money when called upon to save the club. It had over 14, 300 pledges one of which was from a fan in Australia for £1M. At that point which is well over a year and a half ago there was over £12M in pledges. You ticked a box to be kept up to date by email. After I pledged my £500 I never heard a peep- not one single email.
Last night I tried to pay £125 into the Rangers Supporters Trust the minimum amount towards share ownership. I never even reached the card details part. The site had errors.
Two points here (a) there was at least two other sites looking to help the club "black and red scarf" campaign and "the Rangers Fighting Fund"- has there been any joined up thinking here?. When the Blue Knights offered their less than £5. 5M did anyone from any of these funds/ potential funds meet with the Blue Knights? Could they have offered significantly more than the Green team?
(b) Is it internal strife within the fans groups /organisations that will prevent us saving our club? Because it seems to me we cannot organise a sh@g in a brothel. Time is running out the fans need one strong representative body to rally the troops and deliver salvation. Whilst I appreciate Jim McColl's sentiment of not wanting to give Charles Green a penny (they would appear to already have had £Millions) I worry about PLAN B if the EGM requisition fails. Yeah your right there is no Plan B. Personally if it brought clarity and cleared the deck of the scavangers I would vote for paying them off giving the real fans the biggest single shareholding.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Dont want to be to cynical but why is it the real fans now
have we to be left with the big problems

they parcelled it up as if we were helping the CLUB last time
Murray parcelled it up as if he was the man using other peoples money
but now. NOW its the real fans gone yirsel big man thanks a 22million bunch

Agree0 Disagree0

Time is not running out mate it already has. After Green won the assets far too many fans ignored the evidence that showed him to be a bit dodgy. The season tickets were the last bit of leverage that fans had. Right now all you can do is wait and see.

Re ongoing mike ashley rumours I live In sussex now and visited tbe sports direct stores in Crawley, Eastbourne & dare I admit it Brighton. Only London premiership & Gers kit in stock no Celtic or even Newcastle in stock. Seems he is fulfilling his commitment. Small item in the greater scheme of things but Interesting just the same.

No new gers top in eastleigh store. Couple of old away ones.

Only this Rangers board could make a less than 2 hour drive cost 50,000 pounds. To play Stranraer. Season Tickets anybody?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

How do the instutional investors feel about there money being used this way?
its about time some of them spoke up
a money making venture like Edminston house left undone. but 50k on a junket
why has, nt ashley not spoke up
or will he help us out by buying ibrox and lease back
why re-name it when you can own it

Agree0 Disagree0

I find it hard to believe the cost came to that. Even allowing for Ally's nonsense about a hotel in Stranraer costing more the figure seems far too high.

Agree0 Disagree0

The lodges don't cost the same as the hotel seemingly but I had heard it would be around the £50,000 mark too. But some of you will think it was money well spent. After all it's another 3 points gained in the Herculean task of winning Scottish Division One with a squad that is only about 50 times more expensive than any other team in the league.

Gaz

Agree0 Disagree0

Another example of wasting money we don't have. Should be travelling down on the day rather than blowing that kind of money. It's second division football not champions league

Agree0 Disagree0

How about ally's white river rafting charity stunt, it made £11,000, Yet the money spent on this was roughly 50grand. a certain someones son was flown first class too meet up with him. More charity shame, Disgraceful. steff

Agree0 Disagree0

Obviously it's good to get players together the night before a big match but we were playing Stranraer in a three o'clock KO and even if the cost was a couple of thousand to stay in these lodges then frankly in the current climate it just cannot be justified and I fail to see why Ally McCoist doesn't realise this.

Agree0 Disagree0

Whatever the cost, it was a waste. It is a wee day trip and back. Christ sake, however deluded we are its still a very small country!! 2 nights in a hotel to play Stranraer? what the f!

Agree0 Disagree0

@op what planet are you on. 50k for 1 night at the lodges. ball oxe. they are bout 200 and sleep up to four even if we took 40 as a travelling party then 10 lodges would hit 2k, so what was the other 48k? a bar bill or was it for your therapy. go and lie down and get a calculator. Celtcis trip to Kazakstan will not even be 50k

Agree0 Disagree0

There is aways one keen to defend the indefensible. The cost really isn't the issue. The venue really isn't the issue. It matters not if this was a week at the Ritz or a one night stop over in a dodgy YMCA in Saltcoats. The issue is that there was a cost at all!

With all the speculation regarding Rangers expenditure this trip (presuming a new bus has been provided) should have came in at the cost of a bus driver and a few gallons of petrol. You would presumably get change from around £250 for that. So even if your £2,000 is accurate Ayrbear, it is still 8 times more expensive than it had to be, that is what everyone is outraged about and why I am shaking my head in bewilderment at this basket case of a football club.

Gaz

Agree0 Disagree0

Rangers stayed at Turnberry Hotel on Friday night, travelling and having lunch in Stranraer on Saturday. 39 members of the official party.

Agree0 Disagree0

Gaz, your a basket case! Your issue is that there was a cost at all? What are they then meant to stay in, tents? Even that would cost something to buy them!

Agree0 Disagree0

Forgot to mention. The team bus stopped outside the Hamilton Arms in Girvan. Ally got off and got himself a special fish tea and got back on the bus £7. 80 priceless.

Agree0 Disagree0

@ Ayrbear/ Celtics bill is over £500k! The plane charter alone is around £350k

Agree0 Disagree0

@11) Nothing, that's what they're meant to stay in, are you nuts? Why stay at all? It's 85.9 miles away, it was a 3pm kick off, ask around did any of you go to this game from the Glasgow area and stay overnight beforehand.

Buses probably left around 11am, got a pint or two in Stranraer and were back home around 7ish, where is the overnight stay required for that? Jeez 11) you're a whole new breed of insane.

Gaz

Agree0 Disagree0

@9 gaz are you not fed up putting needles into your little knitted ibrox? Have you not got a team to support, would you rather just pass comment on ours, it's not needed, not wanted and childish. Go and see what's happening in Kazakhstan and how they will be out of the CL before you can say Lodges at Turnberry

I wonder what plan has been hatched for tomorrows board meeting.
You can be sure that it has nothing to do with the interests of the Rangers support or the interests of Rangers football club.
Rather it will have more to do with rodents and their sinking ship.
The current board cannot deliver.
We need an EGM.
