I said on weds that Rangers should get 2 goals up and change the team and get critical players off that park ASAP, some who don’t know the damage both short and long term didn’t see the importance of that, playing on plastic damages the joints and can have a massive impact on the muscles, turning and tackling is putting more stress on the bones and ligaments, it’s time these pitches were banned completely.

Maybe your idea of a great draw is much different to mines deecee?
Both these teams should we make it to play them are huge clubs and we could have drawn easier opposition but at least we have home advantage but certainly not a great draw for us in my opinion. Great draw for the neutral supporters as its one of thetoughest ties from the round.
I'm confident we can beat either of them and it is what it is so I look forward to next week first and see what happens and find out who plays who.

If we don't beat those teams we won't be in the group stage. We should be able to compete with either team but won't be easy games and let's not forget Willem, one game at a time. Hibs first, my gut says they are not as good as the hype suggests and we should have a good win but I've been wrong on many occasion.

Just glad we didn't get Spurs, especially with Bale looking to be on the verge of signing for them again. So I think we've got a decent draw.
Willem won't be mugs but what have they ever did in Europe? I'm guessing we have more internationals and much higher paid players who have more experience in Europe and should have more of a winning mentality.

I would have to say Mclaughlin should come back in. Mcgregor is one of my favourite players but Mclaughlin hasn't put a foot wrong and its only fair he keeps the Jersey. Same with Helander. He got a chance because Balogun got injured but Helander has been great so he keeps the Jersey in my opinion too.

So far I would rate our season 9/ 10 with only one defeat so far and that was to a very talented side in Leverkusen and a draw in the SPFL but I think the next week will be very revealing with two tough matches away. Two wins from those will be a real indication as to how strong we actually are. Fingers crossed.

The Leverkusen match doesn’t count mate it was part of last seasons fixtures and was already over with tbh anyway. I agree 9/ 10 unfortunately our 0-0 draw with livingston will likely cost us being top of the league as Celtic will likely win there game in hand by more than 1 goal and go top on goal difference. Hopefully we take 3 points v Hibs with all our injuries the performance isn’t important as long as we get the result. Try get Aribo and jack back fit for Celtic game in October I think Aribo is a must for that game fully fit 11 v 11 I’m confident we have the beating of them this season.

Guys, I get the impression that some of you still feel Celtic are still superior to us, I disagree, I feel we are a much more exciting, fit, and sold team this season. I was looking at pictures of Lennon in the papers and he looks anything but confident. I also feel that there game with Livingston will not be plain sailing, however it's down to what we do on Sunday, if anybody is nervous about games like we have coming up, Rangers is not the place for them.

Boo123 I've not heard many people ever slate Morelos abilities. The problem has been his attitude. He has shown a better attitude lately so anyone who had an issue with him because of his attitude are perfectly entitled to change their mind.
I can't claim to have any inside knowledge of our finances but I think its a probability that we need to bring some cash in. I honestly think that Morelos will still be sold to recoup the money we have already spent but if he doesn't go then I think Barisic or Kent would need to be sold.
On that note. Quick question bears. If Morelos continues his improved attitude and if we do need to sell one of Kent, Barasic or Morelos to balance the books who would you sell?

We haven't been close to winning the league with alfie in the team. Why would we not win it with itten or roofe. We haven't missed fredo since he has been benched or looked like we won't score, quite the opposite actually. No one has doubted fredo's ability, we all know what he is capable of. Its his attitude which has always been a problem. If he does stay and then come january he doesn't get his move, are we going to have to put up with his huffs again? This is the issue. Haven’t seen as much of Bassey as I expected just to give barasic a wee rest at times so we can’t afford to lose him but if we get offered £20+M he’s off. Alfie will be off if we get the 20m euros we want and I don’t think Kent will be sold at all this season. we want all 3 to stay and with them get us into Europa groups and that money will cover not losing any big players. I think next summer we’re squad could be tore apart a bit tbh I think borna, Kent, Aribo and Alfie, if we keep him, could all be off Next summer making us close to £80m and people want rid a Gerrard I think that value speaks for Gerrard quality as a manager. I am a bit bemused as to all this talk about our finances, we have a massive income stream from our Retail plus all the other new sponsors this season, also we have off loaded some players off the payroll this season.

i have always been a fan of morelos, i love they way he bullies senseless. His attitude is down to frustration and typical of south americans. it is him, nothing much will change that apart from being benched when not playing well. this year we have the backup to allow us to do that. last year not. However how many players downed tools after new year. please don't say only Morelos, the whole team were rank rotten which lead to more frustration from Morelos.

Great result today and team played well even if imps are inferior opposition we still played well and scored good goals
As I posted last week Morelos looking like he's lost that extra few pounds he was carrying and now back in amongst the goals looking sharp and fit and funnily enough looking more happy and positive?
He continues to play like that and be the striker we know he can be
He's going to be a big loss if he goes
If he carried on the way he was there for a good while carrying extra weight and off the pace I wanted rid
But in form we really don't have anyone like him at the club
Itten and Roofe are not going to bang them in the way he can when he's in his game
Not sure what the ending of this will be
But clubs see him banging in the goals again and looking sharp can see clubs coming knocking before the window closes
Will we use some of the money we may get to try get another striker
I'm not sure Gerrard will to be honest and I don't think we will have enough fire power if we don't
Was worried about the lineup today especially midfield thought we might not have had enough pace
But proved wrong and very comfortable performance

If you were worried about that game mate, and not having enough “ pace” to beat Lincoln red imp amatuers very easily indeed then then I’m worried about how poor you think Rangers are?

I was very happy with the line up and tactics and felt we would win easily. That said, the other mob lost the away game and due to that it was a potential banana skin if we hadn't had the right attitude. We have a very talented squad and a very strong first team.

Tomthumb we have seen slip ups before
And airfields legs are not always the quickest
And I did put my hand up and say I was proved wrong
