atmosphere at ibrox was outstanding today. i was in the govan west corner and seeing the look on the celtic fans face when we came from 2-1 down to win 4-2 was up there compared to anything i have ever seen. Goian was superb, bocanegra equally so. Davis looked up for it all game, naisy was immense. Big Laff and Jelavic looked like they had goals in them today and thankfully that was the case. This is a team with wallace and bartley to come back in, plus bedoya and mckay. Options a plenty for the bears. A special thanks to the celtic fan who was escorted out the stadium by strathclydes finest after big laff's goal. Showing us all that it is an actual offence to throw a massive hissy fit cause your team were getting pumped.
On another note big Bob Malcolm was sitting just down from me and was on great form.

Watching the game again. I hope that result sticks up all the doubters of Ally, he nailed it today. It would have been easy to make changes and bring in McKay who I'm sure was nipping Ally's ear to play him, but he didn't. The players were all over him on the sidelines after scoring, to all of you who don't think Ally has it, I hope you've had your last say on this site.

Good to have a positive page back for the first time in ages.

Let's concentrate on the football and back our team as today proved we are in a better position than a lot of people thought.

Leave the tax stuff to the board/lawyers and let's go for four in a row.

Well done Rangers and well done Coisty.

really cant beleive we seem to have found a better defender in goian than bouggy for a fraction of the cost,he is fkn class

Believable12 Unbelievable0

I agree mate, not much at all gets by the guy. Nearly scored as well, think he'll get a few from set pieces.

pappy

Agree5 Disagree0

Big goian just does his job without drama,no tantrums ,,and bocanegra looks as if he has played with us for years, the only thing about ally is he does the walter thing and leaves subs too long

Agree2 Disagree1

Bougherra wis good defender but forgot that and left us open at the back we get goian an bocanegra for around 2 mill sell bouggy for 3 godd buissieness

Agree0 Disagree0

I disagree about the subs because why take your best team off? If somebody had been struggling then fair enough but there was nobody that needed freshening up. These are professional footballers and should be able to play 90 minutes twice a week unless they are injured etc. McCoist didn't need to make changes to get the result. Lemon should have made changes e.g. Mugrew and didn't and he was punished for it. Nobody connected with RFC can be criticised for anything today and AT LEAST for the 24 hours after the game. 4 points clear of our sour rivals and the rediscovery of some much needed form. A bit early but what the hell, roll on 4IAR!

I'd just like to say not only did we pump the porkdomers today but we gave them the gift of a goal / had a perfectly good goal disallowed and wee naismith booted in the head in the penalty area.. Now if that had been done to the manks, then there would have been hell to pay and the conspiracy theorists would have had a field day but again these things only happen to celtic not Scotland (Czech Penalty) Rangers Today and countless others

I have said before on here that if we have 2 sell jelavic I would move for the big guy sandaza at st johnstone they couldn't score a goal before he moved there, the big guy is banging them in and he only has a years contract any thoughts you's in BEARWORLD, oh happy days, on another note I have noticed every1 saying how well some players played today but I thought apart from the manks first goal bocanegra was outstanding I thought he was better at left back but I think him & big goian can form a great partnership I said before the guy has hardly played this season as he was not getting game at that french mob he came from.Have a great night BEARS

Thought the boys were tremendous today, thought Goian and Bocanegra played really well and can only get better with time. Edu had a great game and closed down the scum at every opportunity, say what you want about the boy but he's got some engine. Naisy, Davo and big Laff ran them ragged and Jela delivered when it mattered. I have to admit that before the game i was a little worried but that is one bad Celtic team, just been over to their board and suddenly the little ginger shrek is no longer the golden child, calls for his resignation are bad news for us because as long as he's in charge we'll stroll to this league title. He tried to jump on it but fell on his a*se lmao. Does anyone remember that? Great team performance by the Queens 11 today. McCoist simply a better manager than Lennon. Lennon started Samaras, he signed that Kaddouri guy who is hopeless, didn't substitute Mulgrew when it was clear he was going to get sent off. Thought the deference were not really troubled , goian solid , bocanegra safety first , Davis outstanding 2nd half , edu good , Naismith outstanding / laffertey reminds me of McCoist missed chance after chance but still grafts away and got his reward. Jelaviç caused loovens problems all game.

Ps. We welcome the chase.

Great performance from gers today. I think Goian was a great buy, as well as Bocanegra. good to see papac back, and Whittaker done well too, Davis, Edu, Wylde, and Naismith owned their midfield, and Big Lafferty and Jelavic destroyed their shambolic defence. Mcgregor apart from his mistake could have played with his slippers on.
Celtic on the other hand were poor but it wasnt their fault, it was the Daily records fault.
Yes if it wasnt for Keith jackson and that dasterdly Daily record upsetting them their two centre backs wouldn't have been rotten, and El-kiddouri would have played like roberto carlos,Charlie mulgrew wouldnt have kicked anything in blue, Scott brown wouldnt have been running round in circles chasing his own tail, and Keyal woulnt have gone missing, samaras wouldnt have picked the ball up just outside our box and ran to the half way line, and Hooper might have touched the ball more than 4 times. so it's all the Daily records fault.
Or could they just be p**h.

There is nothing in this article which definitively states that Rangers will lose this case, it does however clearly state that no decision has been reached at the previous two tribunals, now if HMRC had such a solid case against Rangers then why have the Judges not found in the HMRC's favor. Celtic fan here and didn't see first half as watching my 8 year old son play (he was superb thanks for asking!) only saw 2nd half and saw a game pretty much dominated by Rangers. Yeah I think Mulgrew's sending off was a joke but then Lafferty had a goal ruled out for offside when he was well on so end of the day, best team won. Thought Naismith was superb today.

Believable0 Unbelievable4

Maybe your son should have played for the Tic, he would have been better than what you have LOL

Agree1 Disagree0

Sorry mulgrew could have been sent off twice before he eventually was, he was walking on a tightrope all game.

Agree2 Disagree0

Nice to see that, hope your boy goes on to be a top player ..

have to disagree with you on Mulgrew, - I don't think the second tackle merited a booking, but looking at the SKY Plus replay I though the first challenge was a straight Red - it was very reckless

Agree1 Disagree0

Agreed the 2nd tackle itself was not a yellow but if you put the one on Whittaker in the middle of the pitch the one on Ladd in the corner then the one on Davis which he got booked for! I think he had too walk ref had no choice, and in my opinion Marc Wilson was a very lucky boy to last the 90 aswell after his tackle on jela!

Anyway no doubt they will find something to blame, grass was probably the wrong shade or too dry or something

Plus edu was outstanding and yet still people on here saying he's guff, he could have scored a hat trick and still people would be castrating him get off his back

Also whats the point in signing players and not playing them....two new players in team, and there forced, wylde is a waste aof a shirt, would sooner have a shirt on a stick than him, where bedoya? or Mckay, surely they have to be an improvement on a player who couldnt cross a bridge

Totally agree, Wylde couldnae cross a road without help, this is a nightmare. Why sign Mackay etc and don't even make the bench.

The 2 of you look like clowns now dont you! Thats why Ally is the manager and you 2 are not!

AWESOME performance, team was right.

Believable3 Unbelievable4

Ok Fellow bears everywhere, there has been so much said about our beloved team, whether true or not, lets all just remember this is a rumour page which in my opinion is great for the fans of our team, Some rumours turn out to be true, some dont and some so called fans, and others who are not fans use it to wind others up, so much so some fans are becoming paranoid.
Well its about football today, its about supporting our famous team, our record breaking team 54 league titles, a world record, So lets get behind the Bears today, and I mean the Owner, Manager, Players, Staff, and the Fans, Let us be heard, not just a whisper, lets give it our all, show everyone that we are totally behind our team, show our loyalty, passion, strength, and our commitment to the team that has given us so much throughout the years, lets stand up and be counted, and show the world there is only one Glasgow Rangers. and we are proud of them. Its easy to spread a rumour, But today spread the word to every fan, Let everyone hear us at Ibrox today. Com on the Gers. 2-1 then march to 4iar and 55 titles.

Three points is a must today if we beat them even at this early in the season a lead of four points will do nicely and put them under serious pressure

The fact is every football club was asked to pay more tax and if they paid then no other mention about the club was to be said in the press and most clubs were given a discount too! So where the the h*** is the rangers discount ! And for Bain I hope we chase you out of Scotland you useless chap - he was being paid £700k basic salary plus £700k in bonuses that £1.4m a year for doing h*** all then you leak private documents to the press and take our great club to court ! It's time to chase you !

The problems we have now were caused by Mr Murray and Bain, etc and the Rangers fans should be blaming them not Whyte, he has came in and found that the club was in a worse state than we all knew because of the money being paid to player from the past into offshore accounts thus trying to dodge paying tax in this country and they should be held responsible not the club as it is no longer the people that caused it that are in charge !! If these people really love Rangers as they all claimed to they would put their hands in their pockets and not leave it to the fans and Mr Whyte to sort out.

Coistys got to go with 2 up top today as I feel Jelavic and Lafferty are too direct and powerful for ra sellik.

Hopefully he will go with;

McGregor
Whittaker and Papac at full back and Goian and Bocanegra CH

Wylde and Naismith out wide and McCulloch and Davis in CM but I think he will play 5 in Middle with Naismith just off Lafferty or Jelavic , put Jela on bench for kick up rs and as he is just returhink we will win 1-0 Goian

Mcculloch is a donkey mate should be nowhere near the team

No Mckay or Bedoya on the bench ...they say its the under 21 rule..surprised at least not Mckay on bench.

people keep saying wee shouldn't hate Neil Lennon a will hate who the f*** a want people think a hate him because he is Celtic manager well no a don't hate him for because he is Celtic anager or anything to do with secterian anything like that i hate him because he is one arrogant b**tard and a really couldn't care whit anybody thinks of it am is it a crime to hate somebody these days am quite pissed off i will like who i like and hate who i hate is it such a crime it is just like if a don't like somebody out the street it is just the same no different i bet not one person on this page likes him

Believable2 Unbelievable2

I quite like him, only for the sole reason of winding you lot up. Seriously, he has to put up with a lot more abuse than he has ever given out, even stuff not in the papers. I'm not saying "don't dislike him", what I am saying is that he is made out as being far worse than he actually is. It might not apply to you but a lot of Rangers fans where singing and cheering El Hadji like he was a king. Now I see comments saying its not because its Celtic, its because of the person. Funny that

rangers are set to sign Argentinian matias abelairis after today old firm clash the playmaker has been on trial at ibrox for the last week and has shown manager ally mcoist he is worthy of a contract the spl champions have now opened negotiations with the 26 year old on a deal until the end of the season abelairis who played in a closed door game for rangers againt kilmarnock last week is a free agent after he walked out on river plate on freedom of contract he was set to move to boruusia monchen gladbach last month but the deal collapsed because they couldn't free up wages before the window shut abelaris who plays primarily on the left wing has been told he could be offered a better deal if he impresses the player was ones subjected to a move to Villarreal for 7 million two seasons ago but was turned down and led to the breakdown in his relationship with river plate he was frozen out for most of the season as the Argentinians giants were relegated from the top flight source daily express
