As our 2 strikers are in excellent form we just don't know for definite which one gerrard will start against hearts on sunday.
To be honest i'd be equally happy with jermain defoe or alfredo morelos to start.
Into the bargain i think any one of them will score against hearts. I'm going for 3-1 rangers and either defoe or morelos first goalscorer.

I’d play Katic too, although I really like the look of Edmundson too, Helander reads the game well enough but his covering pace when paired with Goldson is a concern imo.
Got to remember though that our attacking threat is as good as it’s been and we seem to wear teams down really well, can’t imagine having either Morelos or Defoe arrive as a sub is what they’ll be wanting at the other end, especially when they’ve tired over 60 or 70, confident we’ll win this one comfortably if we play aggressively and at a pace they can’t deal with. We’ll win this by 3 or 4, hearts are Colin Nish.

Although i am still a connor goldson fan, i think our future centre half pairing will be george edmundson and nikola katic. Both still very young with big future's ahead of them!

SGL, Hearts might well be home but LBH they are worst performing team in league and chances of scoring gainst us slim at best. We'll score 1 in first half, they'll collapse, then we'll score three in second half. 4-0 royal blue.

Re the original post, I think Defoe will start against the jambos as stevie has a habit of rotating between our two strikers for league and Europe. Morelos is more suited to the way we play in Europe than Defoe, he helps get the team up the park with his strength and hold up play, something which we will most definitely need against Porto on Thursday. So for me Defoe starts tomorrow.

I agree with everyone’s posts but for myself tomorrow I’d play big George as he has the physical side to deal with their centre forward but also the lad can play with the ball at his feet. I’d be happy with whoever SG plays as right now I’ve never trusted a manager as much for years and years and even though we made mistakes last season we all can see he’s got a different mentality this year and this reflects on the team!
