I can't believe the people in here who tout for Jordan mcmillan to get a game every week .... The boy is 23 and has never made the grade and I'm afraid if you've not made it at that age then you will never make it .. He has been on loan at 3 clubs inc Hamilton and not made any impression at any of them.
He is only at ibrox because they gave him a 5 year deal when he was a boy with potential.
Believable2

No mate i disagree with you evreytime i have seen him play he has always done well

He done well against Motherwell earlier in the year. One boy who doesnt deserve a place is Fleck. Never progressed since he was 15 get him OUT!

Nae bothr mate he has improved marginally in each of last couple of seasons and looks a fair bit better again this season has never had a bad game and is due a chance ahead of big boiled egg face broadfoot

Certainly do not shout for game every week, and have not seen anyone doing that. you obviously have A ''MCMILLAN THING''
Agree0

Would u say that about shagger he never really made it into the first team until 4 years ago.
Agree0
Disagree0
He deserves a run. He came in earlier in the season and done well at Fir Park. I thought after that performance he would have been given a few more games to show what he's capable of.
p.s I think it will be another tight one today. 2-1 Gers.

Goian and bocanegra have been immense but the team might have a better balance if perry plays c.b and bocanegra l.b.
It must be a better option than playing broadfoot at r.b and whittaker at l.b.
Rumour has it that weir, bartley, papac, wylde are injured.

I've heard from a reliable source (the owner of my local Indian takeaway) that INDIAN hotshots Jeje Lalpekhlua and Sunil Chhetri are scheduled to jet into Scotland next weekend to begin their Rangers trial.
The clubs that they are contracted to don't want money for them. They just want 5 Bombey Bad boy Pot Noodles each. Lol. What do you think of that deal?

Time to send bartley home we don't an injury prone loan signing bring danny Wilson up in his place
Believable6
Unbelievable5
Bartley is far more versatile
Agree5
Disagree1
I like Bartley, he can have a massive future and be a regular EPL defender but no point in him being here injured and paying his wages the whole time.
Weiss should resign and play on the right wing, he is absolutely class on the right hand side seen it against Motherwell that game that he was immense in.
Agree4
Disagree3
18 Nov 2011 13:58:38
hi ed,,can you tell me if bartley is injured again and your thoughts on fleck playing just behind jelavic think he deserves a chance? Whitey RFC {Ed001's Note - I haven't heard anything new regarding him being injured, though it is very difficult to double check by googling it as there are already so many injury reports about him! But I didn't see any new reports about it either, so I would have to say *touch wood* he is ok. I am unsure on Fleck, he burst onto the scene and looked a future world-beater, but since then he has flattered to deceive for me. He does need first team football if he is going to improve though, so it would make sense to give him a chance.}
Believable2
Unbelievable0
Every one keeps talking about Fleck getting chance, he has had plenty and other than initial few games has not cut the mustard. {Ed001's Note - it took Ian Rush about two years to cut the mustard, despite numerous chances, at Liverpool. In fact one Liverpool director actually had a dig at Geoff Twentyman for wasting the club's money on him! Fleck is still young enough to make it, don't dismiss the lad yet.}

will he split up goian and boca to play boca at left back, or play whittaker at left back...
Believable0

If you are correct about the players that are out there is still NO WAY Ally would split Goian and Bocanegra.

Kirk Goian Bocca Whitts

S.T.V has bartley, papac, weir, wallace and healey all out. Therefore will be straight choice Mcmillan, Ortiz, Perry or Broadfoot at right back with Whittaker on left, the idea that Ally would mess about with Goian/Bocanegra is absurd.

Derek Riordan has just terminated his contract with Shaanxi Chan-Ba by mutual consent.
Worth it imo. Scored 12 goals with Hibs last season, think what he could score here.
Believable5
Unbelievable6
I agree mate, give him a short term deal till the end of the season and see how he does. 5k a week or something. And that was a great return for an almost relegated Hibs side.
Agree3

Riordan has had more clubs than a buscuit tin !!... There is a reason for that, so keep him away. 4 in a row
Agree5
Disagree0
I think he'd do a turn for the champions. Imagine he signed and totally destroyed that lot. Goes to Parkhead, plays just off Jelavic and pulls that shoddy defence all over the place. He's well capable imo. He would link up well with Davis and Jelavic i think. Get him in, the more options we have, the better. J1985
Agree2

A would say we should sign him on a short deal to the end of the season the reason he never done well with the other mob was because they never gave him the chance a think he would do well at ibrox

We didnt sign him before due to his off field behaviour.

Ally McCoist press conference latest:
He says he feels Aluko has done well in his trial.
He's expecting Jeje and Chhetri over for their trials soon and has reassured the fans that he will only sign players who will add something to the first team.
He feels Aluko along with Wylde is someone who can beat a man & is very talented.

Vladimir Weiss can also beat a man, scored 5 goals from 35 (dont know how many assists) during his loan spell, he would not cost a fortune as he is out of contract end of 2012 and he would jump at the chance of a return. i think he would improve with regular football and could be very sellable asset in two or three years time
JG {Ed014's Note - His contract runs till 2013 at City.I think he burnt his bridges with his comments about Ally as well.Ally didn't want him for a reason,I think that reason was that he really isn't as good as Weiss himself thinks he is.
Agree4
Disagree5
I agree with ed in this one his crossing is dreadful yes he was fast but he isn't as good as people make out but he has got the potential to be a great player but he isn't that good the now and if he doesn't apoligise to super ally he will defenetley not bring him in and i must say i would totally agree with mcoist

I'm starting to get a bit worried that we are making the same mistake that Celtic have made, signing all there's players from India, Korea, Africa, these players may be decent but are they any better than we already have and just what do they know about the Scottish game and what do they know what it means to play for a club like rangers, the great expectations we have. I personally feel this is why Celtic are so poor. Yes maybe we will be bringing in more money by revenue generated but I want to know if yous think that is worth gambling sucess?

We are lacking talent that is whu we have broadfoot and whitticker and a few others
Remember they are an emerging country and they will have good players , its all about finding them. Look at Drogba and where he is from.
There is no harm in looking to increase the skill level at the club as the above two cannot even tackle the old fish supper
Agree1
Disagree2
Didier Drogba is from the ivory coast where player like himself Gervinho Kalou Tiote yaya and kolo toure are all from there so i think we can all confirm that was the worst example ever used. But you have the right idea if they player is good enough he should play although we still need fans in the team to keep the fire in the belly.

can someone tell me why Aberdeen think they're due compensation for a player who has no contract with them, left them 4/5 months ago, they bought from another team? they saying because they nurtured him, but he has no contract with them.
s-bear {Ed014's Note - It is player development compensation for players aged 23 and under.Look up SPL rule D11 for details.
Believable1
Unbelievable0
I understand that rule Ed but don't you think it is a rather balls rule? Aluko was a first team regular from the day he signed for Aberdeen so realistically, they didn't really train or develop him as a player as he didn't come through the youth ranks.
I think it is a very strange rule.
TonyTheGer {Ed014's Note - I agree it seems strange, but it is a written rule and Aberdeen are trying to exploit it.

There is some sense in what the guy said about Rangers offering HMRC 10pence in the pound. If we got into administration they are likely to only get about that figure so approximately 4-5 million. So a settlement of 7-8 million is a realistic option.
GovanFR
Believable3
Unbelievable2
A settlemeant figure around the 7 or 8 million mark has been my prediction for a while now. I think it was Craig Whytes plans from the begining plain and simple if HMRC want a ridiclous 50m he will put us in Admin and they wont get a sniff of that sort they are more likely to take what they can while they can it has been happening for a long time and many companys settle at around 10-15% of the original claim I cannot see this going any other way.

Has anyone thought about why the tribunal has been extended again. Rangers have always said they have a strong case and have evidence to back up that the EBT they had set up was above board, all the Taxman has is a demand for money that they will have to provide evidence to the tribunal. As for the people who think that Rangers have tried to barter with HMRC - where is the proof of this ?

Romanov has put Hearts up for sale, which would suggest he will not pay the players. If they don't get paid the players are entitled to leave for free under beach of contract. Any players worth taking? Templeton possibly.
GovanFR {Ed014's Note - 33 players have been paid today. The players can't walk away without going to the PFA/SPL with a formal complaint and they have refused to do that so far.Paulo Sergio talked them out of it last month. The PFA are well aware of the situation and ready to act if they are needed.Templeton would be a great signing, even better as a free transfer.
Believable4
Unbelievable1
Didn't see that they had been paid ed. I still think it's an opportunity to get players free or very cheap. Hearts's debt is lying at around £30 million last time I saw. They will go into administration in all likelihood unless Romanov writes of the debt since it's owed to his bank.
GovanFR {Ed014's Note - As it turns out it is all the youth players that have been paid. The first team squad are still waiting.

Big Stevenson would be a good backup to Jela, Lafferty... I would take Black, and keep him out the scottish game...Players would be alot safer
and I do rate Templeton...
But those are the only two I'd take...(Three if we're allowed to do that to Black)
