Use our rumours form to send us rangers transfer rumours.

18 May 2019 21:56:30
Was at my kids birthday party at play town in bishopbriggs today and spotted arfield with family and friends he seems like a really humble guy. I know it's not a rumour etc but I thought it was great for my kid to see a rangers player face to face.

18 May 2019 23:03:40
Thats strange as he's reportedly in Canada visiting relations . Only posting what's been said in the media my friend.

18 May 2019 23:30:48
He is just a guy who kicks a football for a living and like all of us, he should be humble.

He is no better or worse than you or I.

Good player though, but I respect anyone who is a decent person and does a good job for the people who pay their wages.

18 May 2019 23:49:28
Was just good to see a player I like and my boy likes in public where I wouldn't expect to see him that's all.

19 May 2019 08:01:23
Stuck, sometimes it’s better to say nothing instead of shooting someone down because you read something in the media.

19 May 2019 10:11:10
The Gold Cup starts in Mid June and is in Spain. The Canada squad hasn’t met up yet. He was 100% at the HTC on Wednesday very briefly. But you believe the media 😉.

18 May 2019 20:25:26
Waiting to be shot down but I think it's time we as a club and our fans started to show a bit more class and rise above the nonsense.

Be it Dundee Utd, Celtic, the refs or the SFA, we should ignore them and prove ourselves to be better both on the pitch and in our demeanour.

Every time we bleat or criticise we simply give the other ammunition.

The bigotry from some our our fans is embarrassing and shameful.

Watching Liverpool overcome Barcelona last week showed their class not just in football terms - the Kop are an extra man no matter the result and have been all the way through the dark days.

Can't imagine how we change our moaning, rid ourselves of the bigots but it's way beyond time.

18 May 2019 20:49:42
DK I agree. We are starting to take Celtics title as the kings of paranoia. Celtic won the league fair and square. The best team won on the day in all Old Firm games this year. We only have ourselves to blame for not doing better in the league and in a Europe this year.

It was always going to take 5 -10 years to get back after CW. 7 years on we are getting much closer. Keep investing in the team where we can.

18 May 2019 22:22:51
DK19 I am no bigot but I did not want us to give Celtic a guard of honour and as for clubs like Dundee Utd they clubs show us no respect. When we get shown a bit of respect I will have no problem returning it.

18 May 2019 22:39:26
Ya we will just ignore the blatant hypocrisy and bias from the SFA! Real Madrid and Barcelona don’t give each other guards of honour Hibs twice refused us twice so does that make them bigots! As for LFC fans there’s a minority there as well who in the past have sang offensive songs about the Munich disaster! Every team have their issue with fans. And if we think that there is a problem we should flag it up with the SFA are they will just continue to blatantly walk all over us.

19 May 2019 04:08:19
Respect should go both ways.

19 May 2019 06:38:17
Bang Bang!

19 May 2019 07:39:35
36th 2008 Barcelona gave Real a guard of honour before the kings spanked the catalans 4-1. Anyway I have no problem with the team doing their talking on the pitch however it is incredibly frustrating and difficult to rise above when there does seem to be blatant leniency from certain members of the game's hierarchy towards certain teams and/ or individuals.

19 May 2019 09:07:45
I wonder how many football grounds
Do not have an element of trouble
Makers
Would rangers take offence if they
Did not get a guard of honour.

19 May 2019 21:25:37
With you on that one mate. Any new Rangers code of conduct should address the need to stay silent on issues that are outwith our direct control.

It is fine fighting your corner when you feel that an injustice has occurred, but I personally do not think it should be by Manager or player comments. We should be magnanimous in victory and gracious in defeat.

We should destroy the opposition on the field and show good old fashioned Rangers class off the field.

If we do indeed totally outplay our opponents then the press stoked controversies will become a side show and we can laugh at them secure in the knowledge that we have just won another game.

I personally feel that we are not far away from the days of league domination and respected European force.

We will never have the budget of top sides but we should have the fight and class to be nobody's push over in European competition.

18 May 2019 18:20:01
Well done Man City - different class, as usual!

18 May 2019 18:53:05
So they should be dream team 400M starting 11.

18 May 2019 18:58:15
Man city were different gravy with the best manager on the planet, pep guardiola!

18 May 2019 21:44:03
Pep has bought success at every club he isn’t the best manager on the planet let’s see him do it with a lesser team and build them up to win things. Every club he has been to has had the core already there and spent a hell of a lot of money too. He is a very good manager but until he does it for a lesser team I ain’t having it.

18 May 2019 21:45:24
He's never been tested without a cheque book behind him
So no way he's best manager on planet give most decent managers those resources they'd do a similar job.

18 May 2019 22:29:05
To the negative posters - it is not Pep's fault that he has managed the best and won.

If their is any blame to be apportioned for being the best it is to those who cannot see the woods for the trees.

Some are born to be winners and some are born to be whingers!

18 May 2019 22:41:22
Mourinho won champions league with 2 lesser teams something pep hasn’t achieved I could of won champions league with Barcelona!

18 May 2019 22:43:34
36thUD - did you play for Barcelona?

18 May 2019 22:53:57
Guardiola took a very good Barcelona team from Rijkaard to a different level. His time at bayern is forgettable as that was akin to Celtic strolling the app recently. Man city are similar to psg in that they both seem to freeze at champions league level. And mourinho got lucky.

18 May 2019 23:24:41
True Blue of course it's not his fault? all us so called whingers are realists he's never been tested without massive budgets think it's you that can see wood for trees give any top manager those funds and backing they'd be winners as well.

19 May 2019 07:45:39
Ibrox founders, money to spend can/ does help in management but doesn't guarantee mate. Managers from time to time have had millions upon millions to spend and were unable to do anything. Pep guardiola's style of management is superb and remember he went to bayern munich and they said there was no way he could impose his style in german football. He did it with ease my friend. He's the best manager on the planet at this moment in time alright, there's no ifs, buts or maybees about it IMHO.

19 May 2019 08:58:00
With the money Man City have I could have been their manager and won the treble!

19 May 2019 09:29:19
Yes true blue my real name is messi!

19 May 2019 10:39:55
SG should have won the SPFL in a canter as he has spent the most money?

19 May 2019 12:26:45
Sc11 your opinion valid but I don't agree but that's what forums are for.

18 May 2019 18:16:22
Dunno what the lad Cathcart from Watfords value is, but he's been incredible the day.

18 May 2019 21:44:25
Way too much for us and wages too.

18 May 2019 22:43:19
Rangers fan as well I remember us being linked with in 2013! Couldn’t afford him now unfortunately.

18 May 2019 22:50:42
Did they not just get humped 6-0.

19 May 2019 09:30:47
And what! he wasn’t at fault for any of the goals and I wouldn’t be gloating because they would beat us double figures!

18 May 2019 17:48:32
If Dundee Utd come up I don’t know what I’d enjoy more.
Us gubbing the 4 times over the season and watching them struggle or boycotting the away end when we play them and know they won’t get a penny from us.

18 May 2019 18:20:47
gub them and boycott them!

18 May 2019 18:20:58
I've no time for that pathetic football club, scumdee utd whatsoever! Really do hope st. mirren pump them in the play off!

18 May 2019 18:39:15
I want to see Wagner singing again.

18 May 2019 19:18:30
Well said Coop.

18 May 2019 19:32:13
To true c'mon the saints but if they
come up gun them and boycott them.

18 May 2019 21:15:24
If they come up, I 100% guarantee that their away end will still be full of gers fans.

18 May 2019 23:20:38
Don't even want to think about it guys.

18 May 2019 13:09:12
Team for tomorrow

Fods
Polster (try him out, tav coming on later)
Goldson
Worral (katic is away training for u21 for croatia)
Halliday
Jack
Mcrorie (givving one of the mdfieders a break)
Kamara
Davis
Kent (send off )
Arfield
Morelos (send off, also to score 30 goals, so stats look better for selling him )
Gerrard did say there would be a few changes for this game!

18 May 2019 16:06:37
Play our strongest team. Worral in for Katic. McCrorie in for Arfield. The rest leave it alone.

18 May 2019 16:55:16
Few changes maybe. 12 players starting naw.

18 May 2019 21:47:37
Ally the CM will get plenty of rest after tomorrow no need to rest also Arfield can’t play, and L17mac why out a DM McCorie in for an attacking midfielder that doesn’t make sense. flanno should be in not Halliday.

18 May 2019 13:01:33
I see the lad turnbull for motherwell has scored a double again this lad looks very good and should be a priory signing goal scoring midfielder is what we need.

18 May 2019 13:05:41
Would be a great addition.

18 May 2019 13:21:03
Said numerous times on here that he should be signed as our number 10.

18 May 2019 13:26:23
It’s all well and good signing these guys but we need to be getting players that go straight into the team rather than warming the bench.

18 May 2019 13:30:28
For crying out loud he's a teenager who is having a purple patch right now and some of you have him as some sort of saviour! . Great addition', 'should be our number 10'! Give the hysteria a rest please.

18 May 2019 13:31:33
is a no brainier for me lad is already scoring in this league and can improve loads before some English team take him we should put a bid in to get him.
Out of interest how much do people think we would need bid for him i recon about the 2 million mark with add ons as lad just signed contract extension.

18 May 2019 13:38:34
Should we not be trying to sign the 'best' young players / prospects daisy yore?

18 May 2019 13:56:28
Why would we want to put the lad on the bench he has scored 15 goals this season why shouldn't we sign him is a very good young player who is capable in this league already.
The lad looks a real talent i would place money on him scoring the same amount next season this ain't no 1 season wonder watch the lad play and you will see how talented he is.

18 May 2019 14:08:21
I know we are not in the position to throw money around, but this young lad does look a future star.

Maybe £1.5m with a small sell on and offer to loan him back to them for another season so see how he does.

Works for all parties. stops him moving on, gives him another year to develop and could be a replacement by that time for Davis.

18 May 2019 15:51:06
Think Motherwell want over £1.75m for the lad.

18 May 2019 15:53:09
Daisy yore thinks a 30 game season with 15 goals and 4 assists from mid field is a purple patch. Hysteria? Leave the judgement of players to the bigger boys that understand the game a bit better. Football for you means selfies with Broxi but you will catch up soon. I hope!

18 May 2019 16:31:20
Daisy yore you spangle 🤣 Motherwell's young player, young player and goal of the season winner. Name a better prospect in Scotland. Did Docherty have a record like that when we signed him?

18 May 2019 16:44:03
I’ve said it on here before. this lad is going to be a very very good player and we should have moved for him months ago. He’s going to go down south next year.

18 May 2019 21:48:49
I would sign him and he wouldn’t be on the bench he is the best young midfielder in the league.

18 May 2019 21:51:46
The lad definetely seems a prospect I would go for him 100% and as mentioned before potentially loaning him back for a season to further his developemen. Nobody is proclaiming he is the saviour but would add a lot to the team next season or one after. Even if it is 1.75mil it is a steal if that kind of form was to continue.

18 May 2019 12:38:59
Anyone any thoughts on Bony? I know he hasn't been at the races the past couple of seasons but was decent prior to this and knew where the goal was.

Just been released by Swansea.

18 May 2019 13:05:16
Was he not usually getting about 100k a week? The Swedish full back Olsson is released too if Barasic is going to still struggle.

18 May 2019 13:39:55
Think I would rather have Routledge. Would be good player to have in the squad. Has experience and could come into team when suspensions and injuries happen. Also he is a quick player and I think we need more pacey players in the squad.

18 May 2019 16:08:45
Wouldn’t touch Bony or Routledge either will SG.

18 May 2019 11:05:03
Surely the lad Shankland will be on Gerrards radar as a free transfer.

18 May 2019 12:22:52
Sure hope not. No better than Hardie and he is not good enough for first team.

If anyone is not good enough for the first team then they should not be at ibrox.

Obviously not applying to our young developers and youths.

18 May 2019 12:29:20
Why? Surely we can do better than him, with all respect to the lad.

18 May 2019 09:53:56
Got me excited thought you were talking about Mitrovic . Markov has a decent history Benfica and Partizan Belgrade.

18 May 2019 08:26:51
Been gabbing to the boys in work about the Flanagan appeal. We are a mix of both rangers and Celtic so usually some good points get mentioned.
Two point stuck out for me yesterday and I’m looking for your opinion.
I said, the ref or linesman has seen it and booked Flano and no pen because the ball was dead. I also said this trial by media is becoming a farce.
My Celtic supporter mate replied the refs are always giving Rangers help etc etc.

My point to him was they are on the verge of a treble treble, if the refs SFA, UEFA etc were against them do you not think at some point the governing bodies would have tried harder to stop it?! As usual I got the Sevco, her clubs deid patter! I also mentioned this isn’t a Rangers thing. Umpteen decisions have been hauled up to Claire Whtye and dismissed across Scottish Football and some mad decisions have been seen by everyone then NOT called up!
Not to mention numerous “no cases to answer” for the green mob!

Radical overhaul required from the SFA!

18 May 2019 11:44:27
what i can't understand is that how can there be a split decision, surely 3 ex referees are tought the rules of the game, surely they should then all agree on any incident or if not even evidence then all agree on that too. having split decisions is what makes it a farce. people then rightly think well there is biased opinions swaying them.

18 May 2019 08:19:45
Well it won't b a bad thing if we don't win tomorrow. I hope rangers win but if they don't it will p### of the sheep lol.

18 May 2019 09:54:45
I don’t care who gets the other place as they’ll go out in the first round anyway. I want to smash Killie tomorrow.

18 May 2019 12:09:41
I'm the same, I want us to win every game bar none. Let's smash Kilmarnock abd put their manager in his place before he buggers off back down south.
