We need clarification on a lot of things
1. Why is McCoist still on gardening duty.
2. Why is McDowell on gardening duty.
3. Why are we paying the wages of the Newcastle players when its been made clear that they are not fit Newcastle must have known this.
4. Do McCulloch and Wallace have a must play clause in there contract.for stupid money and a % being passed on a n other
5. Show us the Title Deeds for Ibrox
The first 4 are a drain on our resources

Youl have to enlighten me m8, mcoist is on gardening leave as he is still in contract, and hasn't done anything to break that contract that we know,, I wasn't aware that McDowall was on gardening leave,, I also didn't know we were paying the loan players wages, that wouldn't be the usual thing, also the fact that most of them didn't appear or weren't fit for purpose would be enuf to cancel any contract IMO,, we will never know the details of confidential contracts,, the deeds I agree with, but that will have to come out eventually

Bongo,

totally agree, I would add we need to know why no NOMAD appointment yet and why was Easedale investigation stopped. I want to remain behind the new board but my concerns are growing.

Absolutely agree with your post. They must be wanting to keep Bomber quiet by putting him in directors box since he has said on numerous occasions that he knows stuff which means we don't own Ibrox yet there has been no transparency from the new regime. Better get their finger out

Agree2 Disagree1

19 Mar 2015 00:55:20
Because there is no rush if all the contracts have been drawn up legal and correctly then it would Require McCoist and McDowell to agree to rip them up. I doubt they are paying interest on the amount of outstanding notice he has left so why pay it as a lump sum in one go when you don't have to?

Same for number 3 and depends on the contract the previous board agreed to.

Off the pitch nothing is going to move very fast - you can't do a through investigation into all the previous deals and contracts over night nor do you want to default on a contract because you wrongly believe you can just walk away from it only to find you are wrong and face years of legal action and expense!

A lot of people may not like this but actually being promoted might even make it harder to stablise the none football side of the club and if promotion this season followed by a relegation next season ( based off the current performances!) would mean all the effort going into firefighting and no longer term stability planning.

The worst case scenario is it may be financially cheaper to just leave those contracts and Ashleys for the duration of those contracts.

get real the board are just in the door do u think they are not addressing these issues all these have been inherited and although they promised more transparency while negoitions are going on details can't be released don't forget macoist and macdowalls contracts were given out by green they can only be altered if macoist and macdowall agree as far as the newcastle players go we do not know if we are paying for them and do u for one minute think king and co would spend the amount of money without owning ibrox if I thought the board were not operating in the best interests of the club I would be the first to shout but honestly I don't know what some of u want in the short time they have been in power they have done a lot and probably a lot more than what is in the public domain they must be allowed to get on with running the buisness without stupid statements

Bongo re McCoist's gardening leave and £14,000 per week salary. It's a long time since I did my two years of Scot's law but I seem to remember from our basic text book "General Principles of Scot's Law" by Enid A Marshall something about consensus ad idem which translated to - there had to be agreement to the essentials of the contract before it was legal. Now if our Alistair, didn't as he claimed, read his contract and just signed it then perhaps that might be grounds for ripping it up. Of course we all realise he probably did read it particularly the bit with sterling amounts and it was only a less than impressive inaccuracy to defuse a slightly awkward question put to the "great one"

Agree2 Disagree1

19 Mar 2015 18:51:11
Mannering

He certainly did read his contract and he blatantly lied to the support claiming he just signed it. Nice way for a so called legend to treat the support

I've always rated our striker nicky clark since we've signed him from queen of the south, he's never really had an extended run in the team, with stuart mccall now at the helm I fully now expect clark to get that run in our starting 11, nicky clark has everything in his game to go on and become a very good rangers striker, he's got very good movement, he's fast and has an eye for goal, you can start to see his confidence growing, what do we think fellow bears and also the ed?

Believable4 Unbelievable0

18 Mar 2015 23:12:40
U may very well be right. Clark is young and hungry, and Stuart will play to his strengths,

19 Mar 2015 09:52:09
Tennent I always had him done as a decent striker but nothing special. he is quick and has had good movement off the ball but always fluffed chances with his feet and he's still doing it!
Im coming round to him though if he can start banging in goals with his head and feet I will admit defeat and see him as a potential great.

He is good, no doubt about it, but strikers like him need confidence and good players around them, currently he has neither

Seems to be some strict radio silence all of a sudden from the bhoys. Perhaps I could have explained it better. It works out that 4 of every 25 posts are from the mutants. To simplify it further. The amount of toes on one foot divided by their total number of fingers and toes.

And given that you actually worked out the number of posts in percentage terms (including your bizarre and feeble mutant joke example, least ways I hope it was a joke and not just appalling arithmetic) does that make you obsessed about the obsession?

You could list any one of twenty things needing improved regards Rangers right now and this grinds your gears more than any of that, really?

Being a long term Rangers fan I can only support the team not constantly whine when a new manager is trying to reshape a squad destroyed of footballing ability and confidence by mccoist and mcdowall.

The old guard need to go but McCall cannot commit managerial suicide by changing to 11 young players. He has to get them training again and fit again, then pick the best of the experienced players to work with the quality youth.
2 years ago McCall could have built from youth in the 4th division sadly we inherited the worst manager in history of ANY team far less Rangers.
McCall I believe has the ability to forge a group of 15 players playing with confidence and ability to at least reach the playoffs.

Teams may be doing well against us now and gloating about it but the ONLY games that count and are worth winning are the playoffs. I will happily accept another few draws if it allows McCall time to build a game plan and weed out the worst and the best of our squad.

If come the playoffs we fail dismally and do not qualify THAT is the time for debate and possibly for critisism, not after 180 mins of football and 10 days in charge with likely 6 training sessions.

I 100% believe Stuart McCall will end our poor style of play will bring in triple training sessions and I 100% believe will have us at the best we can be with the squad McCoist lumbered us with. So Stuart stick to your guns and show the doubters and impatient part time supporters that we will win and we will fight to he death to get promoted
I believe we will win the playoffs and will start playing well in 3 or 4 games from now - the McCall way passing and with 100% effort.

Believable6 Unbelievable2

18 Mar 2015 20:06:57
Well said. I am convinced that he will turn things around. Whether that meaning promotion or just playing as a team and getting results anything is better than what we have seen the last few months. I said in a earlier post that the way we was moving the ball last night and the attacking style most of the night was a massive improvement. That is down to McCall. Let's start playing football again and get teams worried about playing us that's what I want to see.

Great post KT. Some of McCall's critics are of course wee Ally men and secretly hope for his return. Why - well you may ask- some sort of hopefully temporary mental illness?
McCall has to make the best of the worst situation probably any Ranger's manager has ever faced thanks to the previous management team and incompetent boards. We are so far down it might take Merlin the magician but wee Stuart will give it a real go and good luck to him

ed, guys, I think its time some of us realise a few things, I have never really made large posts before but I think some of us are losing patience already, after 2 wks, Mr King and the board made it clear that they had studied closely every possible outcome and solution they may find, he told us clearly that promotion was not something they had budgeted for, if we didn't get promotion it would NOT be a deadly blow, and that they can cover any shortfall IF the fans stay supportive and onside, they can finance playerxsignings in summer, and prepare for going up next season,, when he stepped out of Ibrox just 2 wks or so ago the first thing he mentioned was his shock at the state of the entire estate, including the entrance, he promised to fix this, he should be applauded for that because he could simply have ignored it for now, not bringing it to attention and saving money, he didn't,, They then immediately suspended 2 board members, and got rid of one we all wanted to go,, then he arranged for a clean and quiet release for K McDowakk and brought in S McCall as gaffer,, something the vast majority would have been happy with 3 wks ago, Now, 2 games later some of us are screaming from the rooftops about King buggering off andMcCall being crap? You really couldn't make it up, Stuart has no option but to try and bring some of the boys in while ms, he has come to ibrox and did exactly wgat he said he would so far, I believe there are other, big plans for Rangers, possibly with the partnership at Brentford, maybe with Stuart, but I suspect he would have beeb given at least a 2 yr contract if nothing else was planned, don't listen to posters who despise Rangers, aking sure Rdutiesrs are at least still competitive, with no way of bringing his own players in, for now, 5 wks ago we would have cut our hands off to have such change,! Some can't understand why King has gone home to SA, other more sensible realise the man has family, and over 40 business to run there, he has other proffessinal duties

what I'm saying is, we are on the way back don't stop ure support now, Rangers will be back within 2 yes, don't listen to people on here one in particular who despises Rangers,, they are even on here during their teams cup final? Warburton n weir are my tip for next season,, get behind the young guys and support Dave King, he didn't need to do what he did

Refreshing to see that people think the same way as me I thought I was the idiot! 10 days in charge and people moaning you couldn't make this stuff up gi the man a minute to get in the door! People were obviously expecting 28 goals and 14 points from the last two games just support your team stop complaining and see how the rest of the season pans out.I personally think McCall deserves major props for taking the reins he is clearly determined to be a success and hopefully we will continue to see small improvements in the squad

i cannot beleive some of the posts we have a new manager (who is working with one hand tied behind his back ) we have a first team squad some lacking in ability all lacking in confidence and all not properly fit we have our new board who have made changes but they must be given time and they must all be given help and support we can't bring players in or move them out till the end of the season the manager has only been in the job for anumber of days and yet we have posts complaining about the manager and all things rangers if attendances drop and revenue drops it will be the end of the club chances to return to the big time we will lapse into stagnation and crumble as years go by.

The difference McCall as made is clear to see for me. The players will get their confidence back, he will find the team that works then hopefully get back on track. The players got jeered last night for passing the ball backwards, I wonder if that was the same fans who booed when the ball got hoofed from defence? I am convinced results will start coming

18 Mar 2015 18:07:22
Amen to that.seen enough last night to show that he will make us better. 18 chances, nearly half on target. really feel Clark will kick on now. mind you, I remember his faither, Sandy "Zico " Clark. who aspired to mediocrity . but he then went on to rag us when he was with Hearts. karma. if we can just get an early goal on Sunday, convert a chance. Rangers have never been a pressing team, and very rarely did we rag teams from the first minute, 6-1, 5-1 games against Dunfermline and Killie in title winning seasons the exception, even when Smith was manager, teams like Aberdeen and Dun Utd would swarm all over us for half an hour or so before we got a grip. be good to see us play that way. personnel not ideal, but fitness costs nothing.

18 Mar 2015 18:07:47
Spot on Bigwull, I sometimes wonder what people really want, I personally am just glad to have a club to support, one day Rangers will be back of that there's no doubt, and we as fans have got to be behind them in every step win, lose or draw it's our club.Stuart McCall Is no mug and I firmly believe that given time he will give us a team to be proud of, but it's not going to happen until next season, or even the season after, so let's be patient and thankful that we still have a Rangers.

We seem to be under the illusion that we are short of central defenders?

We have McGregor, Zaliukas, Gasparotto, Halkett, Faure (when fit again) and seem to remember Daly playing there for Dundee Utd on several occasions.
So with all that choice why the hell is Mcculloch still in the team??

Some form of idolic nepotism??

Believable4 Unbelievable0

Weebill,

McCulloch has a clause in his contract ensuring his his picked every game he is fit for and that inbokes his appearance bonus resulting in his 'allypally' contract of 72k a month

Does that answer your question?

Best we played was when the SFA banned him

Agree2 Disagree1

18 Mar 2015 17:45:43
There might be a few central defenders at Ibrox but we are still conceding goals.
Do we play McCulloch upfront or in front of the back four?
Give Sinammon a chance at RB but who do we play alongside McGregor at CB?
Other option bring a CB in on a free transfer or give youth a chance Halkett or Gasporato.

That's my opinion though. He was playing at lower level so how can you justify that. I just think it's daft that you all pinned your hopes on a kid.

Agree0 Disagree2

{Ed039's Note - And he was head and shoulders above everybody he played against and with, stepped into Scotland U21s and was the best player there as well. Remember these are the leagues where Celtic (and Rangers used to) send their young players on loan to get game experience before moving them on. Players like Charlie Adam learned their trade in these divisions before moving the Prem League and playing international football. Never going to be world beaters but at a young age players have developed in these leagues)

Yup 5 games unbeaten, which means (according to a whole lotta posters on here) Hearts are still there for the taking, looks like all those posters claiming Hearts will fail, go in a slump and are easy catchable etc were all spot on, Rangers are ready to pounce and take the league now.

I miss all the posts and talk of it is only 6, 9, 15. (now 26) points of a gap, and we got X games in hand that we will walk, especially when we get a decent manager. So we will re-claim our "rightful" place and get automatic promotion. Ahh, them was the days. Now all we get is the "when we win this league NEXT year and get promoted" posts and how it is good for The Rangers to avoid being embarrassed in the SPL next year, you know, on the march back to the pinnacle of Scottish football once again etc etc etc Although still amusing, it's just not the same.

I take it we don't count the 6 league titles he won at Ibrox? Or if ure talking of management then utd haven't beaten you in 20 odd years in Glasgow, so what exactly is your point? Like getting to a eufa cup final, or giving millions to charity,? Doubt it very much, big game for them 2nite, cudn't care less who wins but u could almost sense a utd player off, anyway barca game should be a cracker, I bet 3_2 both ways in every big game, usually around 25/1, 33/1 this game should have goals considering the forward talent on parade, however I've been gambling for nearly 40 yr and it rarely happens that way, will be good to see real football, not the crap in scotland

The first 2 results haven't been good enough that is obvious. But reading people getting on at Mccall is a joke. Draws are never good enough for rangers but the quality in play as improved vastly in the last 2 games. For a start McCall as stopped the endless hoofing up the pitch from defence. It was the first time in months we was using our midfield instead by passing them and losing possession. We kept the ball even if that meant playing it back. We looked more comfortable on the ball and the players looked like they knew there jobs. Secondly, the first 5 minutes of the second half we looked woeful again and lost a goal. But instead of losing our heads they stuck in dominated and equalised and took the lead. Ok not for long enough but a week ago we would of lost that game. We looked like a organised football team for the majority of the game last night. Ok we need to do that every game for 90 minutes but it is a start. McCalls influence is obvious for me at the minute. The major concern now is conceding 2 goals from 2 shots from a team struggling at the bottom. We need to defend as a team, press all over the pitch. Time and time again we have seen teams break too easy, the back four being exposed, then opposition scoring a easy goal.

Yeah a sort of agree there with you, but I'm blaming McCall for the past 2 dire results, because he's been watching us week in week out, he's been on BT sport pointing out that where he thinks we're weak, and where he sees why and how we're leaking goals, so he gets the managers job, he gets 2 home games, against bottom half of the league, and bottom of the league, and twice, in them 2 games, the defence has let us down BIG time, now I know, the manager can only do so much, then the team has to do the rest on the park, but let's not get away from the FACTS here, mcCulloch is our weak link at the back, he looks so unfit it's unreal, he's far too slow, he's that slow he's scared to go over the half way line, because he'll get caught out with pace, and McCall sees all this, and has saw all this, and STILL, he's first pick in that team! He was at fault for the first goal last night, he got out jumped for a header, he noticed the boy was too fast for him to catch, so he follows the red about moaning that it should've been a freekick, Wallace has to run foul the boy because he was getting away, then they score from the freekick, poor poor poor goal to loose, get mcCulloch out that team as soon as possible, and you'll notice a BIG difference! McCall knows this, so why the hell hasn't he changed it??

18 Mar 2015 13:28:06
Getting tedious but I agree totally, ref my earlier posts. dropping Jig would galvanise the team, we could press more and play a higher line. sure McCall sees it, unsure why he has not dropped him. I absolutely believe we'll make the play offs, and McCall has to have a plan for what will be effectively cup ties at that time. play the young boys already blooded by all means, but don't get rid of all the experience. keep Law, Wallace, McGregor, Shiels in there. they've got it in them SOMEWHERE. losing Cap'n Carthorse might just bring it out . heard a lot about how good a player Jig was(debatable), and how he never walked away(72k a month lot to walk away from). so if here is some sort of play if fit clause, show you are a REAL Rangers man Jig, and walk away from it.

Jig is a problem.I agree with that. He is never a centre half, he isn't defensively aware. But the problem is do you drop him let Moshni back in? I am all for giving youth a chance but maybe they can't see the young CBs being ready for it. The young RB sinnamon was on the bench yesterday so maybe put him in with Mcgregor back at his proper position. A concern for me is the lack of muscle and leadership in midfield when we haven't got the ball. That second goal should of been seen and dealt with. But looking through our team at the minute I can't see anybody who fits that role. Hutton doesn't look like the player I thought he would be, and take murdochs goal out of it what's he done? Games seem to pass him by. I am all for giving youth a chance but if the players aren't there you have to deal with what you have got. The team need to start playing for each other and they are showing glimmers of that, but the is still a lot of work to do.

Yet again mcculloch gets the blame for these results, are yous blind? We can't hit a barn door from 3 yards, our midfield don't defend nor attack yet it's mcculloch who's to blame.

It's easy to make one player the scapegoat

Agree1 Disagree3

18 Mar 2015 15:59:26
We scored 2 goals mate. so we can hit the barn door occasionally, just that we've got Jig leaving it open at the other end. scapegoat.? no, finished, detrimental to the team, yes. not the only one, but take him out and I think whole team would get a lift. we wouldn't have to defend on our 6 yard box for a start to make up for his lack of legs. Look, I never liked Jig as a player at any time, cumbersome, inclined to give away stupid fouls when we were attacking, balanced by the odd goal, and he did have a decent link up with Papac down that left side that made us hard to breakdown. but that was then, and he, and Boyd, are finished. time to move on.

Agree1 Disagree0

We are 5 and 6 points clear of our 2 nearest challengers with only 9 games to go we would need to draw all our 9 games and them win nearly all their games to exclude us from the playoffs
That is close to impossible, firstly we are improving under McCall and secondly the other 2teams will both lose a good few games Hearts and Hibs will ensure that for starters.

So anyone please forget about missing the playoffs We will be in them. It is just a matter of where we will be and how many games we face to win them.

The trouble with that sentiment Nipponbear is that King sold us a story of imminent catastrophe if the board were not removed. The catastrophe is still with us, and the board seem to be very slow at taking the steps required to steer us clear of the immediate danger of liquidation. (i.e. cash injection to pay the bills)

Sure a long term strategy is nice, and nobody expects that sort of thing within the first couple of weeks, but there are things which need to be done now to save the club from another insolvency event. unless.

. the plan all along was for insolvency.

If we're not going to make the play-offs anyway, we could take a points hit by liquidating. But we still need to have enough points so that deducting 25 points doesn't push us into the relegation zone.

So I think the board are waiting, waiting to see how many points we can get out of the next few games, enough so that a deduction because of insolvency doesn't put us down a league. What they are not going to do is put their money into a club which is bleeding cash to offshore investors, and ex-managers all over the place.

Grim, but better to face reality.

Why oh why would King and TPL spend £5 million on shares then liquidate the company, we know you are a hater of all things King expat but Mr Park who is worth I'd say hundreds of millions, Mr Taylor, head of trading at HSBC, Mr Letham, self made millionaire and Mr King who has earned enough to pay £44 million in a tax sellement did not gain their respective fortunes to pay £5 millionfor a 35% stake in an undervalued company to liquidate it. If they wanted liquidation they would not have bought shares and left the old BoD to do it, because under their watch tthat's exactly where we were heading and coming out the other side with no assets ie Ibrox, Murray Park, Edminson House, Albion Car Park, Rangers Retail, Club Crest ect would ALL belong to Mike Ashley. If ANY Rangers fan wanted that its time for a mental health check up. Fans of other Clubs would love it though.

I'm no expert. Common sense here. Yes you changed directors. You have not changed the fact you are a loss making company. You needed loans to sort you out for a few months at least. Unless I'm mistaken there has been no cash injection so therefore nothing has changed. Mr Ashley still making a pretty penny as are others. The boards hands are tied I'm afraid. You are still losing money at an alarming rate. Any money put in will just disappear so therefore only way out is to break all these contracts hence administration.

Agree0 Disagree0

18 Mar 2015 13:16:48
Well we'll see Nipon, I only offered it as a suggestion.

As for investing in a company they then liquidate, it makes business sense - if they can be preferred purchasers of the assets afterwards (like Green was). Then they would have complete control, away from Ashley's stranglehold. and probably other hangovers such as McCoist's gardening fee.

Although we were promised transparency, King & co have offered us guy little of it over the last week or so, so speculation is all we have.

Which board give day to day press conferences? Go into administration and the assets go to the one who has securities over them- Ashley.
In the scenario of admin then sold to preferred bidder will be working with dribble of fans, depleted squad, transfer bans, no training facilities etcetc
All this worry over the new board scheming seems a little paranoid, possibly born from our last two results.

Agree1 Disagree0

18 Mar 2015 14:16:31
"Go into administration and the assets go to the one who has securities over them- Ashley. "

No they don't. What happens is that the assets get sold by the administrators, and the money raised form those particular assets goes to Ashley. This is what a first charge means.

Since nobody else is going to buy the assets except King (why would Ashley buy them off himself?) he gets them at a preferential price (much like the way Green did at 5.5m). Ashley only gets some of his money back. As a play to avoid paying Ashley all of the 10m, it actually makes sense - but only if we aren't going up anyway.

This is why I think the board is waiting.

Agree0 Disagree0

18 Mar 2015 14:44:11
Why would no one else buy the properties?

Agree0 Disagree0

18 Mar 2015 14:59:31
Well, in answer I would return the question. who else would buy them, except people interested in running a football club. They are of very little use to any other investor.

I suppose someone might buy the stadium andMP with a view to renting them back to us as a long term investment, but that would only happen if there was a sustainable "us" to rent it back to after an admin event where we'd lost the assets. A risky proposition, I'd say.

There would really only be King and the 3B with the money and the desire to buy up the assets, and they'd get a preferential market price from any administrator they appointed.

Green paid 5.5m, I'd guess the assets were worth much the same now. Bang, saving of 4.5m straight away, and a clearance of HMRC debts, other outstanding debts and contractual obligations, onerous contracts, and two fingers to Ashley (who'd only get half his money back) in one swoop.
Obviously they'd lose their investment in the shares they bought, but they are perhaps thinking longer term.

If the 25 point deduction (+ 5 for not paying social taxes perhaps, but all negotiable) doesn't put us into relegation. And if we're not going to make the play-offs (since getting promotion, however unlikely it seems now changes the game plan a lot) then now would be the ideal time to make such a move.

It would be a tough sell, for the new board, I grant you.

Agree0 Disagree0

Nippon,
King Park Gilligan and Murray are NOT taking Rangers to Admin 2 they actually stopped Admin 2 and currently EVERYTHING to do with Green and Ashley is under forensic investigation which for the intelligent amongst us (not pat) means weeks of scrutiny of all the contracts and loan terms.

Oh dear it had to happen I suppose- a post from Martybear that I agree with.
McCulloch was never worth the millions that Walter Smith spent on him. He is a very lucky man to be earning the thousands of pounds per week he earns which we cannot afford and is part of the cronyism at Ibrox with his pal Ally that seemed to put themselves before the club. He also in addition to being too old and a further weakness in defense -cannot motivate his team mates which surely is the minimum you would want/expect of a Rangers captain. Finally on "Jig" his decision to stay with Rangers as a 33/34 year old man on thousands of pounds a week will be seen by his supporters as loyalty and as a no brainer to keep the high salary by others.
Wallace looked marvelous in the two worst divisions in Scotland but has found this year more of a struggle and the former amateur Andy Robertson is now miles ahead of him.

Looking back over the last 2-3 years, until some small signs of hope with the youngsters finally getting a chance in the team in the last few weeks, the only player who was beginning to slightly excite and fill you with some optimism was Lewis McLeod other than that watching Rangers has been a non stop visit to the dentist.

Was at the game last night, totally shocking again, McCalls to blame once more, guys not got a clue, playing mcCulloch again! Too slow, plays every onside, but it's not his fault that 3 managers this season can surely see his incompetence, but keeps getting picked to play, we done our usual, about 12 corners, 4 to 6 free kicks around the box, NOT a threat from any of them, Alloa get 1 free kick, bang, 0-1. simple, then for the first time in the game, we actually try and score a goal, put them under pressure, which we should be doing from the start of the game, we find ourselfs 2-1 up, a said to the guy next to me, well there's about 15 minutes left, so the we can now at least get a draw out this, he starting laughing, but I was serious, they played about 3 passes from there box, next thing it's 2-2, after that, we done outlet usual, long balls over the top to NO one, and out the park for a by kick, the last 5 minutes, and fair play to Alloa, they just kept the ball in our half, winning shys, freekicks, keeping the ball, they deserved the draw, I said from the start, when the new board came in, the first thing they should do, is bring back McCoist, get the management team back to what it was, get the feel good factor back to the club, let them do there job, from now to the end of the season, while doing that, look for a new manager, but now we've turned into a bigger joke of a club, which I didn't think we could get any bigger, we've had 3 managers this season, and the only 1 that was doing a decent job out the 3 of them, was ally, yeah the football was terrible, but we where 10 points behind hearts, 10 points ahead of hibs, now look at the state of us! Because the clubs incompitance not to realise what's right for the club, we've went back the way, so well done glasgow Rangers for ruining your own chances of progressing this year.

Agree, don't want McCoist anywhere near this team. McCall has had a week and a half ffs!. We'll always ship goals as long as Jig frightens the Ray Bradbury out of his fellow defenders, but we've got some good attacking options, and also agree Clark will kick on now, he's deserved the stick he's had, but at least he's reacted to it, unlike Boyd, who looks beyond help.we lack a ball winner in midfield, an enforcer(and that's not, repeat not, McCulloch!) I still think we'll make play offs, McCall's got to build on the energy and enthusiasm of Walsh, Murdoch and Clark. give Shiels a run, and keep Law in, thought he did ok last night. get McGregor in centre, go with Smith and Wallace a full back. also thought that we played at a decent tempo for parts of game, so I'd keep Hutton out. he just drags it down.

Just can't believe no one has picked up on this. why would players out of contract, not getting a new contract, looking at a future elsewhere risk getting hurt? So there will never be 100%, just wish we had 10 Scott Brown's as that would sort it all out.

{Ed001's Note - because the only way to get a new contract somewhere is to show what they can do. There are thousands of unemployed footballers looking for a team.}

I was listening to the radio phone in the other night and we now have Celtic fans queuing up to tell us what is wrong with our stadium? Why? we already know this and it does raise some serious question about the structure within the clubs management!

We already employ a facilities manager on a salary of £33K per year, this would seem to be excessive in light of the new revelations by the Celtic fans saying the roof is falling off etc, etc.

It would appear our own are failing in there duty of care to the club and supporters, maybe the new board should be asking some questions on who is supposed to keep the stadium safe and up to reasonable standard, I would hope this could be done otherwise get somebody who can do the job correctly, this would then prevent the other mob from again telling us what is wrong with our club again!

It don't matter how well you do your job if every time you ask your boss for a budget to do the repairs he answers no money/ other priorities.

£33k a year for facilities Manager isn't exactly a massive Wage.

That was the first thing Mr king mentioned when he walked out the door after winning the vote, the state of the stadium

Clearly there are major problems with the starting line up just now.
The defence is terrible, we lack any creativity or drive in the midfield. And the strikers couldn't hit a barn door just now (although great to see Clark score two tonight).

Obviously we are very limited with the players we have to end end of the season. I know bosman signings were suggested but I can't think of anyone who would come.

If contractually mcculloch and Wallace have to start every game, and there is no way around it, then mcculloch must be moved out of defence. Possibly as a sitting midfielder or target man. It's great that he stuck with the club, but clearly the wages sweetened the deal for him!

Wallace is not a good defender, and seems to be getting worse. But we don't have mnay options in defence.

I know there has been the talk of only vuckic going to get a game out the the Newcastle players. But to think Streete may be back in contention soon. Surely him and McGregor would be an acceptable pairing.

I would like to see the following team once some of them are fitter:

Bell(gk),

faure(rb), streete(cd), McGregor(cd), wallace(lb)

Mcculloch (holding role)

gallacher(rw), Murdoch(cm), vuckic(cm/am), Walsh(lw)

Clark(st)

with Gallacher and Walsh acting more as wingers than midfielders. It is by no means a good team, and possibly one of the worst in rangers history but worth a go between now and the end of the season.

At this point I think we will struggle to make the actual playoffs

If McCulloch & Wallace are required to start tell us & don't start them. Let them sue us.

The captain & "vice-captain" are meant to inspire the team on the pitch not drag it down!!

Why do people want Faure in the team? He is rank rotten. Also I agree with the other poster drop McCulloch and let him sue us if it's really true about his contract. We need to play at least 6 young players and see what they can do. It's better to clear the decks close season and start to build in the championship next season

Have I missed something here that's a few people on here shouting for aird to be given a chance. He was a regular for most of the season and was absolutely rotten can't take a man on and the few occasions he managed to beat his man his final ball is shocking. He's had his chance and he's certainly not the answer to our problems.

He is another awful player and shouldn't be anywhere near the team. Another waster who needs to go
