We were told last week that there was a strong possibility of this game being postponed due to weather yet it was still allowed to happen. If the game was in doubt and couldn’t be guarenteed then it should have been moved to a ground where it could be, another example of ignoring the inevitable and adding to the congestion. The FA just burying it’s head in the sand and not thinking of the fixtures and the fans.

Rangers called ref in. Total nonsense saying park was 95% ok, so if Defoe or Morelos do a Murphy we would be unhappy.

heard a guy on clyde SSB saying he was embarrassed because rangers called in the ref. it transpires it wasnt rangers but even so as JBoy21 said if any of our players got injured and we didn't win the league, we would all be jumping on the band wagon saying why play key players if we knew the pitch was bad. no matter what, to some of our fans we will never win.

Why is it a disgrace goalie? Where could they move the game to that would be guaranteed to be on? What is a disgrace is that we have a 3 week winter shutdown and the VERY first game back is cancelled because of the weather. Cowdenbeath have every right to play the tie at home and will be as disappointed as us that the game was off.

Jyf, its a disgrace calling the game of that late in the day. We were on route to the game, worse than that my mate travelled up from Stranraer and met us in Kilmarnock. that's why its a disgrace !

well its unfortunate and i feel for you but it was called off as early as it could i believe, it happens in football especially playing clubs at grounds without undersoil heating.

I wasnt having a go goalie, I was simply pointing out that the game was called off by the referee 3 hours before KO due to the weather something that nobody can do anything about. Do you think they should have called it off earlier? The postponement suits no-one i'm afraid.

They were to blame. Apparently a small section of the park was frozen due to a cover been blown off. i'd fine them!

Sympathy gone goalie, the game was called off due to the weather (including the wind that blew off the cover) . Why do you want to fine cowdenbeath? They did not have to even put covers down but did it to try to ensure KO. How far did you actually get before you found out the game was off, how much would you fine cowdenbeath?

You simply don't get it do you Jyf. They managed to protect 95% of the pitch, because of there negligence 5% of the pitch froze. There are lots of people who have lost money- security, catering supporters transport etc. And still you side with them. Spare a thought mate!
