Just read about the East Stirling player, David Greenhill who went off at half time as his dad, who is in a hospice, was very serious.
What should have been the biggest day of his life may be the worst of his life. Best wishes to him and his family and big respect for turning out today in the circumstances.

Heard a rumour that rangers are looking to sign Liverpool youngster Rahim sterling but lfc boss Brendan Rodgers is unsure about loaning the striker whilst rangers are in the 3rd division but will await other offers from English clubs before making a decision but he does feel he would benefit from being in a team expected to win every week {Ed001's Note - load of rubbish, the Prem League rules forbid loaning out U18s now, Sterling is not eligible for a loan move until January.}

Believable0 Unbelievable19

Why make this stuff up?And no tag as usual.

Agree11 Disagree1

Why would the editor post the liverpool signing rumour in the first place. Then rip into it?? Just dont post the nonsense....makes sense to me! {Ed001's Note - because the site is intended to educate and point out when a rumour is nonsense. What the hell is it to do with you anyway? Is there any need for you to try and tell people what to do?}

aye top of the third division. already. it gets a bit boring winning everything we enter does,it no. i think the other lot over in the east end, are missing us. the next 3years going to be hell, for them, all on there lonesome.

Believable14 Unbelievable29

You entered the Champions league and didn't win it in fact you forked out Millions beyond your means, failed and went bust as a result.

Agree26 Disagree19

Yeh, the jealousy is ripping out of us FPMSL!!
it's crap we have to be content with european football....wish we were playing the worst teams in scotland every week:(

ps...remind us all of the things you have won that you have entered again?

taco

Agree24 Disagree16

Brilliant result today. Aye right. Ye wid think yous had won the Champions League. BC

Agree21 Disagree13

Your first ever win in the history of your club and listen to you ... you only won one game youv never won any competitions yet

Agree20 Disagree19

We will enjoy winning the top league in scotland just as much as youll enjoy winning the lowest

Agree19 Disagree10

Yeah ur team is brilliant a jammy goal against the sheep (abaaaadeen) and scoring in the dying seconds against the mighty ross county world beaters FLMAO

Agree23 Disagree13

Aye you might be right about CL Taco - but were having a ball and it gets right up your noses - as a football fan of many many years (Rangers & Scotand) I have been a fan and travelled to many fabulous moments, cup finals, league titles, European final, world cups , euro championships....... But NONE of that has matched the love, the passion, and the joy of the East Fife and East Stirlingshire games - I don't expect you to understand that - you had to be there !!

Agree18 Disagree19

I am embarrassed by that post. Hope ur not a bluenose

The Fifer

Agree15 Disagree7

Arangers new world record i hear as well. we will win 4leagues in a row, and the european cup, all within 5years. the other crew can get bored now, for the next 3 years without your bread and butter old firm games. no matter what league thengers are in, they will win it. put us in premiership, we,d win it in4years. why? because they can kickmus, but they will never beat us

Was at the game today and intend to be there at every home game, would like to go to away games but with lack of tickets that will be a problem.

Have to say that the crowd was unbelievable, truely astounding.

I was doubting if the football would be watchable,
but it was. We are clearly not as good as we have been but neither is the opposition, however it was entertaining. I don't think Barry McKay would have got near to the team in different situation, but we might just have found a real gem. I thought he was by a mile the best player on show and looks to have something that wee bit different. I would like to see a few more kids getting a chance, it may be the making of them.

However we badly need to get a few players in and a wide man with a bit of pace is a necessity. Thought Goian was rank rotten again and he clearly wants away. See yah!

I thought the most disappointing of the players to leave we're Ness, McCabe and Kerkar. They should have stayed, they still have plenty of time in their careers, think it would have done them good, especially Ness who has picked up wages for two seasons where he is injured. I am afraid that they may languish in the reserves and never be heard of again. They had the chance to become Rangers heros.

Heard that we had more people at Ibrox than every other game in all four leagues added together. As the clubs were so interested in the 600 odd that backed their chairmen into a corner to refuse us entry to SPL, the 49000 at Ibrox today had their say at last. Because we are the only ones that have been ignored in all this.

If today is anything to go by bring it on, I look forward to next game. Well done the fans today!

Believable27 Unbelievable16

Good post mate, was at the game myself and thought the youngster outshone some of the older players. Little also looks the real deal

Agree15 Disagree4

This was the moment to sieze and establish their positions. Ness, Rangers nurtured him and stood by him throughout his ongoing injury problem and McCabe, they clearly saw him as a real talent. Hope they got proper advice in their decisions to leave. I'd include Wylde as the three could have become great Rangers. Anyway I hope they all do well at their English clubs and end up playing for Scotland one day. Good luck to them. They'll know they're Rangers people.

Agree0 Disagree1

Little played well against bad opponent he couldn't cut it in spl last few years

congrats to fans.the attendance at ibrox was better than all the combined attendences over the 4scottish leagues. and they think they dont need us. lets face it. we are scottish football

new world record too for fourth tier attendance, we definately are the people all right

Believable18 Unbelievable15

But still in the fourth tier - it would have been an embarrassment if the fans hadn't turned up to support the club at this time. Hardly surprising, given that and the cheaper tickets that there were 49,000 there. And the combined attendance thing is nothing to brag about - that was the case every other week when Rangers were in the SPL and you didn't go on about it then.

Agree12 Disagree16

The novelty will soon wear off - checkout the turnout for any similar fixtures from about Guy Fox time until the daffodils reappear :)

Agree10 Disagree14

Congratulations on your new world record unfortunately we are to big a club to compete in these 4th tear records and unless we get liquidated and start a new club your record will be safe you sound as thou your enjoying yourselfs in the lowest league in scotland am glad you found a league you can put in a fair challenge and win without having to resort to cheating

Agree14 Disagree14

I recall the first game after we went into administration v Killie was a sellout. A few weeks later the empty seats numbered 15 to 20,000.

Agree9 Disagree5

What does a full ibrox do for Scottish football? Have you paid back all your debts since you claim to still being rangers of past. Plus when you play away and we are at home Celtic can claim the same thing but we have a bigger fan base

Agree10 Disagree12

It's not a world record I'm afraid to tell you. The record is held by a Brazilian club 59000 odd. You lot really believe anything!

Agree12 Disagree10

Aye and the san giro's gonna be full during this period. Face facts pal we are the biggest club in scotland always have been always will be.

Agree7 Disagree11

@OP 5: 2.5 mil taken from Rangers as part of the agreement for membership to SFL, 11 SPL CLUBS TAKE A CUT OF THIS MONEY that should have gone to creditors, where is the integrity in the SPL and its member clubs?

Believable14 Unbelievable11

Aye that would work. I'm sure the rangers don't want to play in Europe. Some fans really need to engage there brains before believing guff like this.

Agree11 Disagree7

What ? Beccause they didnt let a new club in at the top table ?

What do you mean a return to the spl? You have never been in it. Brand new club just out the wrapper so to speak!

well done for the win today but i think it should have been much more considering you were playing the worse team in scottish football for the last decade also when did the sellout total amount to only 49,000 at ibrox as i thought it was nearer 55,000. finally i would like to say that if you keep it up then ticketus will be cleared in about 4 years , then you can start to pay back cg loan , maybe thats why there was a collection for the rfff today

Believable16 Unbelievable14

Ibrox has a capacity of just under 50,000 so todays turn out is a huge percentage of the capacity. So please don't try and demean an otherwise phenomenal showing by the Rangers fans
Turnout for a 3rd division game

Agree12 Disagree10

Ibrox capacity is just over 50000 not under try not demean your self by a tim knowing more about your club than you do judging by your lack of knowledge iv probably been in ibrox more times than a lot of the fans that turned up today

Official ibrox capacity is 52.000

CAMPBELL

Agree9 Disagree9

I am not going to get to excited regarding ally. He started with that ever so boring 3 at the back formation, with only 1 man up front.

After sheils got injured and was replaced by young mckay we went to a flat back four and the game then changed.

This would not have happened if sheils had not got injured so therefor ally was forced into the change and was nothing to do with ally been tactically astute!!

Agree10 Disagree2

No every team will fall apart at ibrox or be push overs as long as theres some decent fitba played i'll be happy.and east stirling today were no worse than a bottom end sphell team

Agree4 Disagree4

Why are you supporting tartan trousers?

Agree1 Disagree1

Greenock Morton beat east Stirling 5-1 a couple of weeks ago, ally ain't got a clue.

Agree10 Disagree6

@2 were you at the game? Even after Shiels got injured he kept the three at the back. At no time did we play a flat back four. Even when Wallace went off he moved Clubfoot to the left wing position!

As a Celtic fan i would like to appaulde the 49,000 fans who turned up for their opening home match in Div 3.

I only hope that those same fans who have been threatening not to buy season tickets, not to support their club are now they have purchased a ticket are willing to attend matches on cold and windy days during the winter.

Remember the cost of your season ticket is only a fraction of what you can spend on your club, actually attending matches and buying match day products like refreshments, match programmes, and other products, are just as important as buying a ticket that if never used has only a limited return for your club.

I say this as a lot of people are going to boast about the highest attendance at a minor league game in the history of football, but this is only a footnote in The Rangers history, you need to turnout every game to make a real impact.

The same off course goes straight across the city to any Celtic fans watching this banter page, we all need to support our clubs with both our attendance at games (wish I could get more often but I reside oversea's) and our spending power wehen we are there..... Both clubs need their fans not just to invest in a ticket, but to actually the said ticket at every home game.

Timmy goa.

BBC reporting there's more fans at Ibrox than every other match combined in ALL Scottish divisions put together!!

Believable10 Unbelievable8

Gabby Logan (lovely girl) on same BBC Final score saying we'll show you the SPL table
The others don't matter
HA HA

Agree11 Disagree8

Just the same as it was when the previous incarnation of the club was in the SPL and Celtic were away.

Agree13 Disagree3

That's because most stadiums can't hold much so every other week you may have a good showing and have the numbers but whenever Celtic play at home that will never be. Yous are really scraping the bottoms to find something to cheer about.

Agree10 Disagree5

Deary me....it doesn't take the fans of this new club a lot to get excited about but I suppose playing in the worst league in Scotland doesn't hold much glee and excitment, but each to their own!

Briggs

Agree13 Disagree12

Jeeso Ed, what is it with continuing to post messages from these obsessed, bitter wee winkles. The Briggs of this world offer nothing but spite and bile. It's not banter and good enough. All for a bit of debate but enough of the repetitive guff. For a start, any post whose author can't even bring themselves to call us Rangers shouldn't see the light of day. {Ed039's Note - You don't make the rules and neither do I)

Official attendance at Ibrox today: 49, 118
Celtic got 48,000 for their opening SPL game where the league flag was unfurled. This means our attendance is almost 100%, their 48000 is about 80% capacity. Who really does walking away?! Come on the Gers!

Believable20 Unbelievable13

Eh, most of your main players from last season do.

Agree14 Disagree10

Why would celtic fans walk away from the number 1 club in scottish football. Please explain

Agree13 Disagree15

Why all the interest in the east end?Remember schools were still off and loads on holiday when flag unfurled--my pal missed it as in Spain. All we can say is 'we' did well today and lets keep it up---when the novelty wears off ,watching Div 3.Keep going!

Agree8 Disagree8

Hows that walking away? That is the usual average is it not, and if the tickets where 10$ I'm sure 70000 would show up but we pay reg high division prices. When your tuning in to cl take a look and next of game.

Agree6 Disagree2

The game was also half the price to get in so Celtic really made almost double the cash.

Anyway..I'm fed up with this attendance watching by everyone in Scottish football. A lot of football fans can't go for various reasons...financial, work, ill-health, where they live etc. Go if you can and support the team instead of number watching. This has to be sustained long term across all Scottish football teams & grounds not just when the weather's nice and there's a bit of controversy going on. ME1972

Agree6 Disagree3

2.) Why would celtic fans walk away from the number 1 club in scottish football. Please explain

Precisely, perhaps that is what you should be asking yourselves just why don't you turn up to support your team?

Agree8 Disagree8

#2 - Celtic aren't the number 1 club. I think you'll find Rangers/ Sevco/ THE Rangers, whatever you want to call us are still the number 1 club in Scotland and in the world in terms of number of league trophies won ;)

Agree12 Disagree11

@6: they do. 50,000 fans at Celtic Park is still one of the biggest crowds in Britain.

RANGERS may look to stay in the Scottish Football League even if they win three successive promotions.
There have already been informal talks inside Ibrox about snubbing a return to the SPL as feelings continue to run high over the perceived treatment of the club.

And last night’s SPL announcement on the make-up of the tribunal to investigate alleged employee benefit trust payments between 2000 and 2011 has added fuel to the fire.

Lord Nimmo Smith, Charles Flint QC and Nicholas Stewart QC will look into possible rules breaches and determine any sanctions.

While this has been expected, it has not improved the “persecuted, not punished” feeling within the club or the perception that Rangers have been the subject of a witchhunt.

As a result, the prospect of taking some sort of revenge has been mooted.

Believable17 Unbelievable11

What a load of rubbish,so they will rely on winning a cup for a euro place? The rangers would jump back next year given the chance.

Agree12 Disagree8

Utter sh!e when is the penny going to drop that yous don't run Scottish football and you just can't do what you want . Do you think season ticket holders and guys who go every week will be happy to fart about in the SFL with no chance of Europe for the next umpteen years . Stupid post .......DH

Agree11 Disagree11

Sounds like Green spinning again ahead of the tribunal sitting. Best one since he planted the buying Bury story ahead of the SPL membership vote. Common sense - would sacrifice European football?

Agree9 Disagree5

They cant play in europe fo three years. have you been living on the moon. And they are going to sign spl players to stay in the sfl. Who ties your laces in the morning for you?

Rangers and Green are desperate for the SPL and the money that brings. The SZpL doesn't need Rangers.... Lucky to get back in 3 years.
Rangers owe about £2.1m on recent season ticket sales to HMRC (20%). Not going to pay? See u in the SPL in 6 years.

Agree4 Disagree8

18 Aug 2012 14:16:16
todays game is a sell out. new world record. they can kick us, but never beat us.

Does anyone know when this big tax case will be settled, and if it goes against us, who pays it. is the new rangers still possably liable

Believable14 Unbelievable27

It's only a world record because of the division you find yourselves in. Would you rather have a world record for a bottom division attendance or be in the SPL?

Agree18 Disagree19

So you believe what the record tell you cos it suits you? New world record claim is rubbish and who would want it. This is the scottish third division its embarrassing.

Agree19 Disagree26

Yup the same amount of people that were there last season paying half the money!

Some record that!

Agree12 Disagree8

The record attendance for a Junior Cup Final is 77,650 for the 1951 final between Petershill and Irvine Meadow XI.

That say's it all.

Agree12 Disagree10

You also hold the world record for fines from UEFA for sectarianism.....or is that the real rangers accolade?

taco

Agree21 Disagree16

Any world record with a caveat isn't really a world record. Great attendance don't get me wrong but a non-starter as a world record. Clutching and straws come to mind, a bit like a guy who takes the most shies during a season, so what.

Agree9 Disagree7

To post 1 suprisingly a good numbrr of rangers fans wanted and would choose to be ehere we are in 3 rd division among genuine football people with genuine integrity. The world record thing is judt publicity hype i had my boy st the game todsy and have publicly commented in the past that being catholic that sime of the hate filled bile and songs put me off taking him hoeever for the first time evrr st ibrox i heard not a single boigoted song or comment in onearly 30 years of visiting. So yes give me and my son thi opportunity to enjoy the football for what it is.

Agree8 Disagree3

To the "it's the Scottish third division" post - it's a world record, not just a Scottish one.
Also, why don't you concentrate on your own team in your beloved SPL instead of trying to talk down our 'diddy' team - which, by the way, also has the world record for most TOP division league titles won ;) Good luck catching us, even though you have a 3 year gift.

Agree9 Disagree8

! the tims out in force! you dont have a record, you may have a record but its sfl3,your sectarian, you want into the spl, theres been higher attendances! so so sad! spose your mhanky mhob didnt provide you with mich to speak of today, helsingborgs will ride yous and it'll be lennon out! we want lennon out! your a joke.

Agree10 Disagree7

There is one European record you will never, ever lose. Between May 14th 2008 and August 5th of the same year, you were knocked out of consecutive seasons European competitions in 83 days. That will never happen again to anyone, congrats.

Agree4 Disagree5

Here it is in black and white via reuters, not the daily septic.so it is official. if celtic fans are going to come on here wasting there time and mouth off, at least get your facts right
(Reuters) - Rangers set a world record attendance for a fourth tier match on Saturday when 49,118 watched their 5-1 win over East Stirling in a Scottish Football League game at Ibrox.
The figure smashed the previous record of 37,774 for a game between Crystal Palace and Millwall at Selhurst Park in 1961 in the old English fourth division.
The Ibrox crowd was larger than the combined attendance for last weekend's five Scottish Premier League matches of 40,383.
Rangers, the 54-times Scottish champions and one half of the Glasgow "Old Firm" that has dominated Scottish soccer for decades, were playing their first home league match outside the top flight as they begin to recover from a financial crisis.

and they mention our 54 titles as current.mnew team, what new team

Agree9 Disagree6

Number 13: where yous actually in Europe them 2 years? If so what did you do?

Agree0 Disagree5

@14: reuters only mention the titles as they probably don't know better. Rangers have played the grand total of 4 competitive matches.

Agree5 Disagree7

There's no "old firm".

As a Celtic supporter we don't want association by guilt.

Rangers were liquidated.

Agree7 Disagree6

No.14. You've got your facts wrong.
Correct in mentioning Palace v Millwall.
This only constitutes a British record.
Santa Cruz is a brazilian team or is Brazil not
in your world.

Agree6 Disagree3

@ 15, we got beat in the last 16 of the Champs league by Barcelona and then didn't qualify from a group including Villareal and Man. Utd. That satisfy your curiosity?

Agree0 Disagree0

@11 stop over exadurating the Santa cruz attendance was 50887 so we were only 1700 shy of the world record not bad for a fourth tier club in our tiny country that's one percent of our countries population spending there Saturday supporting a forth tier game

Believable24 Unbelievable19

Pity they couldn't fill it when it really mattered. Even with the fighting fund money. Still, I'll watch the crowd numbers at Ibrox, over the next three years, with no European football, no premier league football, as they dwindle, and dwindle, and dw...

Agree13 Disagree19

Ally needs to concentrate on trying to play some football instead of shelling balls to giant strikers.

I think it's rather embarrassing that we are reduced to bragging about having the biggest attendance ever at a Scottish 3rd division game, yes fellow fans, that's where we are the Scottish 3rd division, probably the lowest senior professional football league in the UK. . . . . and we are finding ways of bragging about it, it's simply embarrassing.

Craig Mather has invested £1m in Rangers for 10% shareholding with the intention of exploiting the youth development at the club. Meanwhile, talks continue with Mike Ashley to pay £2m also for 10% with loan players thrown in as well. Meanwhile Ally signs a number of free agents to fill the depleted ranks and tickets sales have generated a bumper cash injection to the debt free club. Even the value paid out for the club is a long term loan.

Whatever your say about Green, he is a shrewd business man.

Debt free - apart from that owed to Green, you mean?

And is the season ticket money needed for running the club?

Agree11 Disagree8

And whats in it for Ashley? He is paying double the rate for a 10% shareholding. There has to be a catch.

Agree9 Disagree5

Aye just like we said about yon murray guy will we never learn , at least now we know cg wont be putting money into the bottomless pit with no return on his investment . time for serious talks at meetings

Agree8 Disagree1

Exploiting youth development. He's going to be disappointed then?

Agree10 Disagree3

Rangers having sold 30,000 season tickets now immediately owe HMRC vat @ 20% = £2.1million.

Agree6 Disagree3

I think you'll find that TheRangers owe in the region of £12.5M.
With season books revenue half that of last season and contracts to McCullovh, Alexander, Broadfoot etc as well as new contracts of £7K been dished out willy nilly the financial situation is far from stable.
On top of that you've got the danger that BDO will want a fairer price for the assets once their forensic accountants starts their work.

And just if that wasn't enough titles and trophies will be stripped from the grave of Rangers1872 for financial corruption!

Agree9 Disagree13

At 6 why come on here and post complete and utter fantasies.you lot are obbssesed.enjoy the Rangers scotlands only big team that EVERYONE is following

Agree5 Disagree5

Regarding the guy who said Ashley is paying double the rate for the same share. The value of the business should have increased since Mather invested. When he invested Rangers were Sevco Scotland Ltd. had no footballing licence, hardly any players, no division to play in. Now they have cleared these things up the value of the business increases. It's very simple.

My thoughts on all this talk of title stripping use of EBT's etc.
Rangers should not accept any further punishment from the SFA/SPL on any footballing matters, as they keep telling us ,we are a new club/ company and we have paid the price for our entry to SFL3 we were voted in by a vast majoity of SFL clubs, our place in scottish football is legitimate, the SPl witheld last seasons prize money apparently to pay the footballing debts of the "oldco" this money has dissapeared ?they then blackmailed Charles green into accepting paying the same debts again pay or no football at all, this can't be legal . They have now managed tp negociate a TV deal, but only with Rangers included if we refuse to accept any further punishment what exactly can they do to us , if they ban us from playing football then they cut their own throats no more tv deal even less money

Believable6 Unbelievable16

Aren't the titles stripped from the oldco history?

Agree13 Disagree3

What are you worried about? The old, dead rangers will be stripped of titles this has nothing to do with the new club as you have no titles to strip. So stop getting your knickers in a twist you are a new club with nothing to worry about. Your next title will be your first.

Briggs

Agree21 Disagree18

If we are a newco why are paying the oldco football debts, if we are no longer the same team why are u wasting your time posting on a teams rumours page that is in the 3rd division with no history or affilition with your sad pathetic club and fans

C/bridge bluenose

Agree12 Disagree11

The point being that scottish football is governed by a bunch of crooks who don't hesitate to steal money that doesn't belong to them and to use blackmail as a means to an end (their end) this is not about Rangers this is more about the governing bodies in scottish football and what they are capable of doing / not doing , give me one example of what they have done for scottish football ( something positive)and now give me an example of what they have done which is negative for scottish football.

Agree5 Disagree9

Celtic- certs to win spl, Champions league football, A minimum of 8 european games to play. A team in the under 20s league to be proud off, the next generation series. Players sought after by epl teams, exciting youth talent breaking through all over the park. A club that lives within its means. A well run all round club something to be truly proud off

Rangers/Sevco- nobody knows the real name or how long it can continue to be called anything rangers, scottish 3rd division maybes, no youth, no players of note. An owner in it to make money, craig whytes cronies still in the picture, the robbing of creditors, the sheer arrogance of the watp brigade, green noising up the knuckledraggers to sell season tickets, the shame of the man that is ally mcoist,
BDO still to have their say, the bleating of injustice from fans...............i could go on and on but the point is WHAT DO U THINK U HAVE TO BE PROUD OF

Agree8 Disagree8

At 5 you cant beat ross county no bids for any players not even in the cl and 8-9 million in debt!!ive got news for you noone is bothered about your club not even your own fans they cant be bothered turning up for curtain raiser and just have a look at the comments on these pages90% are from celtic fans! you think more about us than your own team.

Agree4 Disagree6

@5. You forgot to mention a whinging manager who can't accept being beat and blames ref decisions. Dummy-pram-greeting'.

Agree5 Disagree3

Rangers and our titles will always b rangers and our titles. u cannot take away history from a titan of world football. celtic fans do not comprehend that,as they are obsessed. by us, and hate us more than they love there own team

Believable8 Unbelievable16

I think you are missing the point. He was booed by his own "fans". And for what reason?

Agree12 Disagree5

Ian black was playing FOR Scotland not against them and your assuming all the supporters at Easter road were hibs fans, they wer'nt and he was roundly abused club loyalties should go out the window for internationals.

Same as Dalglish,Jinky,Mcstay,Hay,Mccallister and there wasn't a big outcry about it then.Saying that they never played in a royal blue jersey.......DH

Rangers should ask to have titles won during war years to be added to their tally as Celtic and others include their goals scored from the same time.

Believable18 Unbelievable19

Big difference between titles and goals scored. Anyway, this has been done to death (pardon the pun) on here and it's a petty argument to make considering the reason why titles weren't added for this period.

Agree17 Disagree11

New rangers can't add liquidated Rangers records to anything.

Agree5 Disagree6

LOL...how many straws can you lot clutch?
you might as well add in results from bounce games and 5-a-sides ffs!

the league was abandoned during the war, and most teams played with guys who had never played a game of professional football in their lives

People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones, there are lots of rumours about Celtic and ebt regarding Juninho and others. Also it can easily be proven that Celtic lied about attendances (which was a running joke among commentators ) to cheat the the tax man out of his fair share of the income.

Believable8 Unbelievable16

Juninho? please get your facts correct. His tax was paid at the going rate. all be it late. it was paid. None of your players or staff have paid back their "loans", or paid tax on them. why can you not just hold up your hands and say, yep, it happened. Cheats. I call each and everyone of your players who took EBTs, tax cheats. so Sue me for libel.

Agree12 Disagree8

Prove it then, you can post how you brought down Celtic to division 3 and re-intoduced the Glasgow derby

Agree5 Disagree1

Tax paid is a separate issue - these earnings weren't disclosed to the SPL - dual contract - ring any bells ?

Agree9 Disagree3

Didn't hear you mention anything about lying about your attendance figures. Tax cheats.

Agree8 Disagree1

How many Celtic fans that slate gers for not paying what they are due in fact watch illegal steams of the games to avoid paying. Not saying no one else does it but no one else is putting themselves on a pedestal of honesty and integrity .

Agree7 Disagree7

@OP: and other teams didn't lie about attendances in the past? What about kids being lifted over and doubling up through turnstiles? Do you really believe it was only at Celtic Park that happened? If you do, you're not very bright.

Agree6 Disagree4

Juninho again. This has been proved to be nonsense. The attendance figures were all during the lift over years and would be impossible to prove with no electronic turnstyles.Sad and desperate clutching

Agree8 Disagree5

@1 Yes, but didn't pay it at the time which means no tax paid, no national insurance paid and did he repay the loan(s)? Your club was quite happy to run with that.
Double standards though, cos N Lennon got his fingers burnt with the Innovator One tax dodge and several ex players and officials including ex managers at CFC also got their fingers burnt when the HMRC clamped down on similar 'film' schemes.

Agree6 Disagree7

Sad pathetic fans of ex club rangers stop trying to compare a well run football with the carcass of shame that is sevco fc

Agree6 Disagree5

@9. sad pathetic celtic fan trying to sweep the juninho dual contract under the carpet while foaming at the mouth about ours (sporting integrity) yeah sure. but wait and see they will be investigated too then what will they say?...mark.
