Todays performance was good. Lots of positives to take however, Clark and Miller are useless, I know i've tried to defend clark but he just can't seem to score in a rangers top. we could've easily went in 3-0 up at half time, and why is McCall putting law out on the wing. he's a central player that has only played well when going through the middle. Foster once again was dreadful, will happily make a run forward but yet never tracks back. And people wonder how we concede. To many players are to scared to shot, miller always tries to walk the ball into the back of the net.

Also I heard that a fellow bear sadly passed away today at the game. RIP. No one deserves to go to a football match and not return.

He couldn't score wearing Lionel Messi's top.his and Miller's profligacy might yet cost us. I cannot remember any strike partnership at Rangers contriving to miss SO many chances. One forward like that in your team is crippling. we've got TWO!

Don't let Noddy hear u say that about Foster he can't see by him

Team has major issues all over the park. For all the good play today the usual striking and defending issues appeared again today. Was actually disappointed with QOS over the 2 legs yet we were hanging on at the end

17 May 2015 23:58:36
Law is mince. Is this the first rangers team ever to not know how to defend or attack set pieces

Agree1 Disagree1

18 May 2015 07:50:54
Millers a good player, he scored against hearts and hibs. Clark is minceeeee! Would put him anywhere near the first team. As I have said in my previous post he can't handle the pressure of playing for rangers. Hardie is a good option but iffy in terms of experience of these types of games.

My choice would be Boyd, I can hear the tutting already but Boyd is a finisher and that's what we need. He's had a hiatus and should he come back I reckon would score.

Time to see ferguson and streete back!

18 May 2015 08:58:14
McCall needs to do something both in attack and defence. Queens were very average over the 2 games and yet we were hanging on at the end. 2 clean sheets since McCall took over tells everything.

Agree0 Disagree0

18 May 2015 09:09:57
I think we should remember that McCall is still dealing with a squad of players he inherited. The fact that we've only suffered one defeat in something like 16 or 17 matches can't all be bad. I agree about Clark, he just can't seem to score. I'd play Hardie and Boyd up front against Hibs. Miller keeps getting the opportunity but doesn't score very often at all. According to the pundits, even including Pat Nevin, Rangers played very well against QOS yesterday but simply couldn't put the ball in the net. Now is no time to experiment but I'd certainly try my suggest strike force against Hibs on Wednesday. Shiels is playing well and so is young Murdoch. It isn't all bleak news!

Agree0 Disagree0

18 May 2015 10:22:36
To those calling for Boyd to be started against hibs-remeber this isn't the clinical Boyd of the past scoring 30 goals a season he has scored 3 goals in 29 league games this season and has lost his touch in front of goal. I agree that we should start the young guys Hardie and Gallagher who both have good scoring records for the youth teams and will show some enthusiasm and heart

Agree2 Disagree0

18 May 2015 16:23:43
Aye he should be at a clinic or fat camp.waste of space & money.

Agree1 Disagree2

18 May 2015 19:26:06
Granted Kris Boyd isn't as fit as commons or Gary Harkins but fat? C'mon just because he isn't 10 stone doesn't mean he's fat.

18 May 2015 21:59:32
L3 - if we r going to play streete play him.in midfield alongside Law,Shiels,Murdoch with Vuckic and Miller upfront.
Other option is to play Miller and Hardie with Vuckic playing in a free role behind the strikers.
Streete has pace, good tackler and passer of the ball as he played in midfield recently for the u20s

McCalls remit was to get us through the play-offs. We are now 2 games closer and with 4 more to go, we still have a chance. Give the guy a break and judge him on completion of the season.
I find it rather ridiculous that he will have to apply for the job EVEN if he succeeds in getting us up.

Believable0 Unbelievable2

17 May 2015 23:54:21
That's the way it is and from listening to McCall he is fully aware of the situation. Looks like the board have been clear to him regarding his position. I just hope whoever gets the job will get rid of the rubbish and start to build a team worthy of the club

3 players in England fail drugs test this week, are the fa's really trying to hammer down on these players or is this just a coincidence?

Good performance by big Vuckic today. Looked as though he wanted the ball at all times, and gave fans belief that he could produce. Really fancy him as main striker, with Miller playing off. Hope Shiels can build on display in the first half hour going forward. Murdoch superb again, looked composed covering Wallace while he moved up. McGregor sold apart from silly yellow card.

Ps. Please don't bring Mohsni on late again Stewart. It isn't funny.

Anyone that wondered why Rangers are looking for a new manager outside of McCall can see today why, same pattern as against Falkirk poor passing and joke striking by Clark and Miller their passing s simply put a disgrace Clark gave the ball away countless times and has been useless as a striker yet again. think Lafferty and 3-0 Killie in 7 mins we had as many clear chances and all poorly taken bar Vuckic freekick

To be frank virtually every player is passing the buck rather than the ball

We will struggle to get a goal in the second half and QoS look like they can score anytime if they want to our best chance might be penalties UNLESS McCall can change their attitude in second half

A person on here been saying for ages Law is a waste of a jersey and is over rated they are correct he is posted missing constantly and his shot/passback to goal was pathetic to say the least

Hibs must be pissing themselves laughing as on this performance they only have to beat Motherwell to qualify for SPFL as I am sure they won't miss so many chances against QoS

Sad days a manager and 16 players required urgently or a spine for these bunch of bottlers maybe as many people on here have said another year getting the squad rebuilt in Championship and a young manager given time to shape the team and playing style.

Hope I am wrong and they come out and grow a pair to win this, I sadly think they wont

A lot of truth in what you say the team are still very poor. Hardly any clean sheets under McCall and although McGregor is our best centre half he is very average. Clark is utterly useless and can't score, Zaliukus is ridiculously slow and Foster was his usual atrocious. Very fortunate their striker took to heavy a touch when clean through at 1-0

17 May 2015 19:22:36
Glad it all worked out in the end for you KT. Can't see what else McCall can do tbh. I thought we were the better team all through the match. It would be worse if we weren't making chances but that's not the case. Surely they have to start going in. And I thought Foster did really well today. I think he would have to start performing like Messi to get any praise from some of you

Agree3 Disagree3

17 May 2015 19:24:14
Bit of a contradiction by yourself in your post, one hand you are saying need a new manager because mccall can't do it because tactics and players aren't there and then you say we need 16 new players well mccall also knows he needs new players but he has to work with what is there just now so give the guy a break , we all know this squad is under achievers big time

Noddy

You have just embarrassed yourself by mentioning Foster and Messi in the same sentence. It amazes me how you can even defend Foster he is awful. You obviously haven't watched Rangers much this season and didn't see the 4-0 drubbing by Hibs when Foster was worse than appalling. However if your happy with him then thank god your not in charge of the new contracts at Rangers

Our defence has always been a problem this season and would like to see Gasporotto in the squad for the match v Hibs

Very amusing your wasted posting on here. Surprised you haven't been snapped up by Seth McFarlane by now. Foster is rank and if you think otherwise then you obviously don't watch the games you attend.

Good performance from the team. Made enough chances to win three games buy ended up backs to the wall as usual. Thought Wallace, Foster, Zaliuskas and Vuckic were good but Shiels was my man of the match. A very clever player who has flourished under McCall. Not keen on Clark. Misses far too many chances

Believable2 Unbelievable2

17 May 2015 18:25:12
I thought Foster was poor and Zaliukus very very shaky. Same old story we have a defence that can't keep clean sheets. Think under McCall we have only managed this once maybe twice. Team played well going forward but need to drop Clark. He can't score goals and loses the ball too easily

Agree2 Disagree1

17 May 2015 18:44:25
Clark seemed a bit off the pace touch was heavy although good movement

Agree2 Disagree1

17 May 2015 19:04:22

It's not that he is off the pace he is just useless. No confidence that he will ever score and gives the ball away too much. Runs about though

Play Vuckic with Miller and Smith in midfield v Hibs as we gave QOS too much space at times.

17 May 2015 20:44:38
Wasn't at the game or see any of it due to having the wee man but I told everyone ages ago Clark isn't cut for this level. He bottles every chance he gets. He's a good striker but can't play in the intense pressure that rangers players need to thrive in.

Agree0 Disagree0

17 May 2015 21:41:01
Ryan Hardie has a better first touch than Clark and has scored 18? goals this season.

Agree0 Disagree0

17 May 2015 21:43:18
Clark isn't a good striker and his level is League 1. 8 league goals in 33 appearances this season and none against the sides in the play offs. Found out again today really poor misses and gave away possession cheaply for their goal

The mail back pages say that rangers are after Warburton and Weir and they are open to discussions. I wonder if McCall would be kept on as a coach

Believable3 Unbelievable0

17 May 2015 12:27:06
Brentford FC is our nearest team. My son played at their ATP. They have a vg academy setup, but Warburton is a stockbroker and is not the man to take us forward. I would take David Weir as a coach for the defence tho' as this is our weakest link.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

17 May 2015 13:15:46
Think he has done a good job with Brentford so wouldn't totally discard him. As for Weir not sure there is enough cash to have a defensive coach.

Agree2 Disagree0

17 May 2015 13:40:36
McCall has to date improved the team and given young players a chance so why are we looking elsewhere for a manager?

Agree5 Disagree0

17 May 2015 16:31:24
Warburton is the reason Brentford are as high as they are. He was a footballer before stockbroker and then was sporting director before manager. We need someone who is going to come in an build our club not just scrape by every week signing past it players.

Once Dave King actually passed fit and proper test with money then coming in hopefully with all the people leaving in the summer I reckon we should have a look at Stephen Mallan from St Mirren as to me he looks the part, knows how to beat a man and scored a few since the turn of the year he would be cheap and one to develop and could get a really good player out him

Once DK starts to invest we will have a warchest of £8-£10 million to spend on the team. Remember DK before the EGM said he figured the club needed £16-£20 million 'soft investment' plugged in for the short to medium term, of which (quote) "half would go directly on the team". So we won't need to be in the market for cheap players anymore. Unless this was yet another example of DK's 'soft truths'?

Agree2 Disagree3

17 May 2015 10:57:23
8-10 million spent on the team no chance that's going to happen more like 2-3 million

Agree4 Disagree0

17 May 2015 13:31:33
Dan RFC

Would agree mate think it's wishful thinking getting that amount. It's more likely to be free transfers and small amounts of money being spent on individual players. £1-£1.5m tops

Agree0 Disagree0

17 May 2015 14:07:54
OP, Dan and Stewie, so you're suggesting that DK was b#llsh#tting us when he said that? Surely not?

Agree0 Disagree0

17 May 2015 14:32:31
8-10m these days doesn't go very far. There will be some minimal value transfers and a clutch of free transfers I expect to replace those going out the door over summer and that'll be it more or less gone. Remember wages will be included in that figure. What do you cynics want? For us to go back to overspending and living outwith our means? Give it a break, there will be no 'big' signings in the foreseeable future.

Agree0 Disagree0

17 May 2015 14:39:54
I'm not saying he was full of it when he said that but 8-10 million is abit much plus I don't think we would need to spend that much anyway
