Use our rumours form to send us rangers transfer rumours.

Regardless of any boardroom battles, etc. If McCoist had Rangers playing the sort of football St Johnstone are playing this afternoon, then I'd have renewed my season ticket without hesitation. Great to watch!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Just goes to show you don't need to spend millions of pounds on transfer fees and pay extortionate salaries to win a cup.

Agree0 Disagree0

What kind of football did we play against utd?

Agree0 Disagree0

2, just about enough to lose.

Agree0 Disagree0

And a bet you loved that billyb, since you were hoping Dunfermline beat us in the quarters, what was your excuse for that again?

Agree0 Disagree0

Noo ye see that billyb you forgot to invite wur friend bon-bon for a pint he'll be stalking you now.
Not surprised at the final result they are 1 stuffy team St Johnstone. Good on Stevie MacLean he seems to have found the right team for himself at last.

Agree0 Disagree0

Fifth round*

Agree0 Disagree0

why don't u look at the eleven players who were selected to play on the day and stop blaming one man on the touchline yes he picks the team but if u can't pass the ball or stick to your man is it his fault 6 guys turn up for pre season training have to built a new team a illegal transfer ban put in place so many promises from board members of warchest yes the football is not great but look at the bigger picture stage 1 is complete stage 2 is complete if u don't want to stay till stage 3 is complete then do a tims have been doing this year don't go to games

Agree0 Disagree0

If u loved your club u would renew old board is to blame for our mess this board is clearing up the mess left to them

Agree0 Disagree0

Old board new board they all are the board they all work for blue pitch and margerita or as there better known charliesboys shhh

Agree0 Disagree0

Greybear, I think you'll find 4] is johncass, under another guise. Different name but the same drivel. One thing about him, he is consistent. Quotes part of a post from February, when Celtic were a potential opponent in the next round and they would have murdered us.

Agree0 Disagree0

Alaska have you been living on Pluto all year. the manager signed all these players which most are good juniors at most. the manager overlooks training and coaches them. the manager sets out the way we play (pmsl)which is humph long balls up to daly. inow if the players are disregarding his game plan (lmfao) then he should change or drop them. no I'm afraid the buck does stop with the manager. oh and it was 2years ago he was left with 6 players for pre season.

Agree0 Disagree0

@7, Never read so much craig whyte in one post.

Agree0 Disagree0

Alaska and Big Col, further down the page you'll find the list of the THIRTEEN players that were at training that day, you'll also find the names of a further 5 who weren't at training but were still Rangers players. It's on Marathon Bear's OP May 13th, reply 5 okay. So I'll ask again, any chance we can bury this myth once and for all?

Agree0 Disagree0

Billyb you never answered the question?

Agree0 Disagree0

Just seen on another site charliboy is over in america trying to ofload some of his shares or is it the easdales shares lol that he is trying to sell

Agree0 Disagree0

14] My answer at 3] will suffice.

Agree0 Disagree0

Get in there Bonbon, you were right earlier, they are a bunch of weans playing politics with our club. Posters stating they passed the ticket office and there is no queue and getting some kind of thrill out of it are, at best, sad. If 6000 have renewed then that money should be enough to keep us going till the start of the season then its month to month after that, then the sadoes can pray that we lose our first four games all they like. RTID

Agree0 Disagree0

Gaz1 I am only going what ally has stated although I am more inclined to believe marathon bear than ally. cheers anyhow

Agree0 Disagree0

Lol a wise approach bigcol as if further proof was required have a look at this Allyism.

Ally McCoist February 15th 2014.

“But if you lose, maybe, in the region of £30m worth of players if you combine them all in Steven Whittaker, Nikica Jelavic, Steve Davis, Allan McGregor and all these boys, I would think it certainly needs to get replaced. "

Ally McCoist April 29th 2014.

"If you lose in the region of £35million to £45million worth of players (due to administration) and don't buy to replace them you are going to struggle to compete at the level you once were. "

That squads value went up by £15m in 10 weeks, inflation must be rampant in Govan. :)

Agree0 Disagree0

Jyf n17 if 6000 renew that just covers the loan well maybe the 900,000 grand left will pay off the boards bonus but there again maybe not

Agree0 Disagree0

N7 if players can't pass the ball nor stick to there man then it is managers fault he brought these players to the club why didn't he get players that could pass and manmark

Morning Bears. My take on the power struggle at Ibrox is now this. Brinkmanship is being displayed by both sides with King hoping the share price will fall to a level whereby the nerve of the Board breaks and they are forced to sell. There is a saying in economics that 50% of nothing is nothing! It is a dangerous game to play though, mainly for our beloved club. Clearly the season ticket money is only trickling in and that isn't likely to change until something happens. If King pitches in with his £30m or £50m then maybe others will follow. If all this comes to pass then we must replace Ally McCoist for a fresh start. There is no reason why we won't win the Championship provided that we get rid of the overpaid journeymen like Cribari and Foster and others and give the kids a chance. Perhaps two experienced signings would bolster the experience in the right place. Hearts and Hibs may well both be in the Championship plus Dunfermline too, but we've nothing to fear from these mediocre teams. Fingers crossed and no bias from me for the Scottish Cup Final today but I hope St Johnstone win their first Scottish Cup today and that Alan McGregor keeps Arsenal at bay at Wembley!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Doiger it would appear you have been watching old DVD's our current set up shouts mediocrity at every level so I would be a bit more respectful of other teams in the championship. My football club still has a mountain to climb before we are anywhere near where we would all like to be so for the moment keep yer counsel.

Agree0 Disagree0

Well put. I have my misgivings about this whole issue.

As a side, does anyone know with certainty the status of young Charlie Telfer going to Dundee United or not? If we lose our best under 20s player to another team this does not reflect well on our management. If he chooses to go, it's his decision and I'm not blaming McCoist but the promise of playing our youth after we'd won the league didn't come to pass. That's a concern.

Agree0 Disagree0

I am getting really pi*@ed off with fans want this man with money and that man with money. I have said this before. With a world wide support we need to get EVERY fan and associated supporters club t get there hand in there pocket and start a legitimate supporter's fund . £50 each that's all it would take. We have had 2 years to do this and all we ha done is stick our fingers up our own backside with the " wait and see attitude. If our supporter group came under the one umbrella and start to get this done we will see our Rangers back where it belongs. Or we can hang about and wait on a sugar daddy.

Agree0 Disagree0

Post 3 we did that it was called a share issue I know it was £500 min and a lot of fans couldn't afford that but I'm with you if we had a fund headed by say Walter smith, john Greig or the likes we the fans could with the help of some rich fans King etc could but the spivs out

Agree0 Disagree0

@3 You are 100% correct. I have posted similar before and unless we collectively secure the club then we will be treated the same again by these opportunists for the short and long term. We need one vehicle to get behind and and for me it is the Ibrox1972 and the Union of the Fans. I am not a member of any of the individual groups but for once the groups have got together and this has to continue so we can have strength in numbers. Even if it means Rangers starting again in the 3rd Division I would have this before further lining the pockets of the faceless investors though the current board.

Agree0 Disagree0

@4 agreed if we could get "the greatest ever Ranger" to lead a group to buy over the club that to me is the way ahead.
Mr King like the gang of 4 has said he ins't interested in giving this board and their shareholder backers any money. I don't think the average bear would mind just to get rid of them and start afresh.
Obviously it needs to work in tandem with the UOF's group but having more shares than they have is the only way to get them to move on and let the club move on IMO

Agree0 Disagree0

Baybear I suggested this about a year ago on here get john greig or another known rangers man to open account that we count money into but it never happened then and to be honest I can't see support going down this route and though it would take a while the fund would eventually have enough money to get this shower of s*** out of our once proud club

Apologies Ed, I posted this on the financial page by mistake, so if you don't mind could you accomodate an auld eejit.
No dialogue since last Friday. It makes you wonder who is trying to play us, the board or the protesters. ''Extended due to high last minute sales'' or ''clutching at straws''. I have got to a position that I have more important things going on. Greybear, Baybear, lbj d and other like minded bears, let's go for a pint on the first day of the season and if we can't sort out the world, we can have a good 'argument' and enjoy ourselves.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

BILLYb. I replied to your post on the finically page. ŵat I said was send me an invite and I'll join you for a pint. a plea to everyone involved in this soap opera. get together. find a solution and get this great club of ours back were it belongs. I'm having a bud BILLYb. what you having.

Agree0 Disagree0

All the best ideas happen over a pint. Proper boozer mind, not one of those w@nky chrome cocktail bars. :0)

Agree0 Disagree0

Baybear. your right mate. let's go to a proper mans pub were real men can sit and have difference of opinions and discuss things without all the nonsense. are you listening mr king and the rangers board.

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree, let's see if we get any other interested parties and pick a pub to suit. Cheers Billyboy and Baybear.

Agree0 Disagree0

Billyb as long as its isnae the Sorry Heid- or has it been knocked down since Connolly stopped going?

Agree0 Disagree0

Greybear, we could have went to Baird's and invited Gaz I, but it's shut.
