Another goal for Bedoya & Ortiz 2day in the closed door game, when will Mccoist actually start using his squad! Fed up hearing "so & so isn't gd enough etc" Mccoist is putting question marks over the heads of Bedoya,Ortiz & Mckay coz he wnt giv them a run of games in their ryt positions! Also were bringing a ryt bak in when we hav Mcmillen already here, then 2 add insult 2 the boy were trying 2get him 2 sign a new deal! If he cnt get a chance of a game the now when the 2 people infront of him are out injured, then why wud he sign a new contract? Then we're loaning out Fleck & Hutton who again deserve a chance/run of games in their ryt positions! I'm afraid until Mccoist grows sum & starts dropping players & mixing it up a bit we're goin 2 struggle! Look @ Celtic, they hav dropped hooper, stokes, samaras, brown, ledley,ki,more or less every defender @ the club & up2 a few months ago wanayama cudn't even get near the team! Now every player @ Celtic no's if they dnt play well then they sit on the bench for a few games! Us...It's Mcgregor,whits,goian,boca,papac,aluko,edu/mcculloch,davis,wallace,jelavic & lafs when fit no matter how well they play! He's 2 scared 2 leave players on the bench! Fact!

PTE

Believable4 Unbelievable2

Mccoist is putting the biggest question mark over his own head! either he's giving us coded messages about signings n trialists or he dznt rate players he signed? i think he might be getting played by whyte or smith who iv always been suspicious of, blueforyou

Agree2 Disagree0

Fact is those other players if played from start would not win us games thats why they don't play, there's not a reason on earth ally would not play someone if all the coaching staff thought they were capable enough so stop all your nonsense!*ksd*

Agree1 Disagree0

*ksd* so why buy them? blueforyou

Agree1 Disagree0

Might be Mccoist did not buy them?

Agree0 Disagree0

Ortiz away back to were you came from please

Agree1 Disagree0

Ksd,how can u say "if played frm start wud not win us games"? They dnt get a chance frm the start in their ryt positions to win us games!

PTE

Agree0 Disagree1

U know what worries me wallace who is a defender is getting a start on the wings before the wingers sitting on the bench and to the main post 100% with you mcmillen is ready and should be starting every week look out for him going to another club and turning into another 10 mill pound player like adam egg on our face again

Agree1 Disagree1

Wallace started oot left mid at hearts. I wouldnae listen too much to that muppet burley in commentary. Playing sasa in front of wallace makes no sense though right enough. At least that's no happening any longer.

Agree0 Disagree0

Soz didnt know wallace played left mid for hearts, aye a know what was mr espn like the other day jel is no good but larrson theres a player erm naw he played in spl done 0 at barca and 0 at man u apart from getting tap ins, why espn have him i do not know maybe he works for free?

Agree0 Disagree0

Larsson did nothing at barca! henri, javi, inniesta are all on record stating henrik turned the cl final for them, and made the winner with his usual selfless running.what a mug you are.

Agree1 Disagree0

He did 0 at man u? then why did man u want to sign him for longer but he renaged as he wanted to finish his career at helsingborgs something he promised when he started out his career there, that is researchable fact

Does anyone know why the young lad Kyle Hutton isn't getting at least in the squad since returning from loan spell?considering he plays in a position that we seem to be a little short in.from what I've seen of him he seems more than capable of mixing it with this squad. McCoist can't seem to see past Edu or McCulloch, neither exactly setting good standards.

Believable5 Unbelievable1

He wont drop davis hes our captain and edu has been playing well plus you have big jig ahead of him.

I see Jaager and Claros were given the kiss of death with the 'nice touches' in their trial match today. This translates as they didnt stand out from the other players on the field and wont be signed. Waste of time.

Believable5 Unbelievable1

I hope they sign,Ally freed up wages with Davie leaving and Fleck going on loan, fingers crossed, liked the comment by the Honduran lad to izzigerre,I have come to the biggest club, nice touch, got the fans on his side with that little sideswipe.

Agree3 Disagree1

Won 3-0. Bedoya, Ortiz and Little.
The 2 trialists showed up good. Claros very tidy. Jaager was bombing forward for fun! It looks like the two will get contracts. It's just what I've heard.

Davie Weir will make an appearance at the game on Saturday to say his farewells.
With Davie's departure the average age in the Rangers squad has dropped from 34yrs to 21yrs. Only joking lol.

Another pre contract at porkhead, we get seltic fans on here telling us we are always looking to buy free transfers, tell me when was the last decent transfer fee they paid for a player?

Believable4 Unbelievable4

Have you honestly nothing else to worry about other than what celtic are doing?there is a court case going on(closed to the public)which could be so harmful to the way rangers will operate in the future,c'mon,is that not worthy of discussion?

Agree4 Disagree1

The difference between celtic & gers signing policies is,celtic seem to be picking up frees that are young,& have loads potential& good sell on fees, were as gers sign players 30 year plus, with no sell on price,& will be scraping the barrel chasing any1 to sign..as has been proven under whytes time in charge.the rangers fans had there chance when the share issue was issued under murray, were was the loyal fans then,as murray had 2 underwrite it himself, whilst across the city mcann the bunnet knew the response & support would be a winner with his share issues..

Agree4 Disagree4

Try izzy900,000 kayal,1.3 hooper 2million ki1.5, wanyama 900,00all bought for a combined total off 6.6million,now tell me apart from the 4.odd million for jelavic lafferty&edu(all bought whilst owing debts & taxes)who & when will rangers ever BUY again,as face FACTS there is & wont be any money for the forseable future...whyte will destroy your club, the same as murray has, thats what happens when yous had no long term plans,,yous will revolt when its to late!!!!!!

Agree4 Disagree4

The difference between Celtic and Rangers is that Celtic are picking up young players who collect a runners up medal, then get sneaked oot the door when they realise they are pants.

Agree4 Disagree6

Its guys like you who the likes of craig whyte absolutely love! don't you want to know what's the future plan or will you carry on celebrating last years narrow title win?

Agree4 Disagree2

Can anyone tell me how much ortiz, bedoya mckay cost? as apart from the one or two good players that lemon has found hes spent more on rubbish Efraín Juárez,Morten Rasmussen,Daryl Murphy,Paddy McCourt,Mohamed Banguraand i could have added 5 or more to that list. so i wish celtic fans would stop coming on an telling us how great they are. they are only 2 points ahead of a team that has been working under severe financial restraints for 4 to 5 years get a grip guys lets see what happens once the tax case is done and dusted heads up guys support your team forget the celtic loving media that tell us how great they are we have the best keeper, center halves, midfielder and striker in the country. WATP

Agree4 Disagree3

Pmsl,at the sneked out the door comment,is that not rfc policy, sneaky dealings, push players out door& fill the papers with spin that tony blair would be proud off..who have celtic pushed out the door ya muppet, any 1 that leaves will make the club a tidy profit, there is only 2 players at ibroke that will make whyte ,not rfc money, jelavic& mcgregor.FACT!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Agree2 Disagree0

Severe financial restraints?????? rangers spent the most on the first team every year walter smith was there, biggest myth in scotland,go ahead and check it,lafferty was about 3million ALONE!

Agree3 Disagree0

Weres all the intrest in this supposed 10million jelavic/????as no club intrested in him, apart from qpr under there now sacked manager!!..be realistic hes worth no more than 5or 6 million tops...saying that,if administration beckons, will be a fire sale.FACT......

Agree4 Disagree1

To the guy that asked who celtic have sneaked oot the door because they were pants, please read the guy's post above yours. I need say no more ha ha.

Agree0 Disagree0

Walter smith spent almost all his money in one close season to build the nucleus of a squad that lasted most of his second spell after that very little has since been spent until the jelivic signing.

Agree1 Disagree0

Aye Your Right Mate. All the young players that have great potential and make The Celtic Board a ton of money when they sell them on for fortunes. I do hurt a lot when I know our biggest rivals have Millions of pounds and it hurts to see the way that yourself and the greatest support that the world has ever seen celebrate at the end of every season because they have money in the bank. It is so very hard when all I have at the end of each season is a massive hangover brought on by a team of over age, unfit, useless tossers who have driven me to have a Champagne adiction. Oh how I wish We were Rich and Pish Like you.
So as you drift off to sleep tonight,
Counting all your money.
I will just console myself,
Counting Titles, It just quite funny.
As Dermot Desmond's pockets grow,
When will you start to wonder.
That Rangers mob have won 3 in a row,
When I thought they were going under.
But we are the Celtic family,
our trust is in Wee Lenny.
The Guy who made us second best,
To the team without a Penny.
But if your happy with your lot,
And happy to be blinded.
With second rate managers just because
They happen to be Celtic minded.
Remember not so long ago,
we almost got to ten
that was a fantastic Rangers team,
With lots of money then.
Just now the count it stands at three,
But please do not forget.
The last count stopped at number Nine,
We have not finished Yet.

Agree2 Disagree1

Rangers fans need to look at the bigger picture here...Since the SPL began Rangers have won the league 7 times and Celtic 6 times...If Celtic win this year it will be 7-7..you can hardly put a piece of paper between them. The difference is the Celtic board have been far more sensible with the finances at Celtic Park and over the last 13 years have produced similar results to Rangers on the field but they havent put the club in jeopardy in the process. In actual fact if you totally up all the points since the SPL began Rangers are 42 points behind Celtic....Pointless I know but thought i would let you know. It's not that Celtic are Rich it just that they live within their means...Rangers on the other hand have borrowed heavily to keep pace or keep slightly ahead of Celtic....and we can all see where that has got them off the field.

Agree1 Disagree0

I don't know if OUR CHAIRMAN ever considers the fans at all. If he was a fan he would know how the fans are hurting and are being embarrassed by the whole situation. I know he took on a tricky situation but he supposedly is a clever business man but we are waiting for some good news all we are getting is we are after this player and that player but nothing is signed sealed or delivered. Think it's all PR EXCERSISE.

Believable3 Unbelievable2

Look Whyte might be good for us, he might be bad for us, but we have to wait till this tax case is resolved before whyte shows his hand. Whyte has been making little changes here and there which go unoticed because too many people are still holding out for big signings coming in, whilt pointing the finger at whyte, he's opened an office in London for the Gers as part of his global strategy, which shows he has plans at least. What plans did Murray have in his last ten years ?.

Agree0 Disagree0

An office in london? is it gonna play up front with jellavic or is it a holding midfield office?

If i was a young lad at rangers i'd walk out the door. You work all your career at Murray Park dreaming of getting into the first team waiting for an opportunity then for a guy like Mcmillan say our 2 RBs get injured but rather than play him Mcoist plays a loan CB then goes out looking for a free agent to play instead of him. All at a time when we're skint. And this happens in all areas of the pitch. Why have guys like Mcmillan, Perry, Hutton, Fleck and Little if we have no intention of playing them? Absolute joke and it's no wonder we're close to going out of business.

When was the last time we brought on a youngster and made a good profit? Other SPL teams do it all the time but we prefer to stifle our talent and buy 300k players or free agents rather than young guys that would sweat blood for the cause.

Total joke!

Rossco Cyprus Bear

Believable8 Unbelievable3

Again mate ur talkin p!sh the blatantly obvious reason for this is that the coaching staff do not rate the players enough to be in the first team so they go and look for players who are there thats it that's ur reason, and they are right in doin that *ksd*

Agree2 Disagree6

Agree with the first post, and the second post is a load of p*sh.

So guys like clubfoot for example is better than the young talent we have, dont think so!!!

Agree6 Disagree0

Talking pi5h? So do you rate Broadfoot, Whittaker, Edu, Mculloch, Healy and Ortiz? If so you don't have a clue. Or dont go to or watch the games. Why have a youth team if you have no intention of playing them? By your reasoning then we should just sack them all as they're not good enough?

Agree0 Disagree0

Apart from Manchester United there is no team in the world who packs there teams with Kids brought through the Ranks, even the Greatest Side Barcelona have very few home grown players in the Team, for every hundred kids you are lucky if one makes the grade, sad but true.

Pete {Ed001's Note - Barcelona have Xavi, Iniesta, Messi, Puyol, Pedro etc, they tend to have more from their youth team than United! Especially if you consider that Fabregas and Pique were poached from their youth system before being brought back.}

Standard of football is dropped at an alarming rate and Mr tight is sticking season ticket prices up, watch attendances drop, not because we ain't real fans because we ain't got the money, prices should be going down not up.

Believable5 Unbelievable4

That's a fair point but dont you think that Rangers need all the money we can get.

Agree3 Disagree5

I think like many others that my family needs all the money that it can get and as much as rangers means to me my family means much more, if I supported the crook of a chairman in charge then I'd pay it but u don't Mr tight is a joke of a man

Agree5 Disagree1

Rangers might need all the money they can get but i for one wont be renewing mines or my sons.

We have been short changed for a number of years now watching negative football and very average players. Our present manager and previous manager would rather play guys like clubfoot and mcculloch before promising youngsters.

As well as continueing to play negative football (apart from last few weeks) and playing defenders in midfield has gradually worn me down.

The price of season tickets should be coming down not the opposite so i am affraid attendances will start to tumble.

Agree4 Disagree2

Good point,if it wznt for my kids i dont think i would renew. blueforyou

Ed this is scary if true as if we go in to admin and face a futher three year ban from europe who would want to join us knowing possibly no european football for four years.
could we face a Euro ban next season for the delay in having our accounts signed off. With Craig Whyte taking the responsibility for the 'wee tax case' as part of the takeover there are questions on whether the SFA should have granted them a Euro licence for this season.
UEFA statutes state:

“The licence applicant (Rangers, in this instance) must prove that as at 31 December of the year preceding the season to be licensed it has no payables overdue towards its employees as well as social and tax authorities in respect of contractual and legal obligations with its employees.”

Applicant clubs must also, “prepare and submit future financial information which is based on assumptions about events that may occur in the future and possible actions by the management of the reporting entity.

“The future financial information must include a brief description of each of the significant assumptions (by reference to the relevant aspects of historic financial and other information) that have been used to prepare the budgeted profit and loss account and cash flow statement, and also briefly describe the key risks that may affect the future financial results.”

everyday i see people on this post about how were going to buy players for 2 million etc? i dont think some of you people realise how much trouble the club is in. in my opinion we need offload some players to get some money and free up some money from wages. we need to get rid off players like kirk broadfoot. ortiz and bedoya have been terrible since they have arrived release them and that will save some money, the team i would want ally to be playing would be. mcgregor.
mcmillan goian bocanegra wallace
mckay davis edu
aluko jelavic hemmings,

also kyle hutton who we put out on loan, he is tremendous on the ball why could we not have put kirk broadfoot out instead of him? he is probably on doubly huttons wages, and he would play a good part in the team, we also need to play more young players, steve davis hasnt been up to much since ally is playing him as a kind of defensive role breaking up play, he needs to be more attacking. McKay has not dissapointed me when he has played. in my opinion he needs to play more, i think this is the best chance of retaining the title....paul

Believable3 Unbelievable4

Hi Mate to be fair NO ONE knows how much trouble we are in except Craig Whyte!! You can not just let guys like Ortiz and Bedoya go as for a start they have contracts and would need to be sold in order for them to leave. These guys are not being given a proper chance as of yet as bedoya has only played a handfull of games and ortiz is a right back being asked to play as a left or right winger!! Its like asking a cook at a school to go teach the kids English then wonder why the child can not spell football but can make a smashing fry up!!

Amazing how people want players signed on the basis of youtube videos. Have a look at Sebo's youtube collaboration or Bangura's. they look like world beaters but in reality they are 2 of the worst strikers to have played for the old firm.

Believable3 Unbelievable2

Lol anyone seen Sebo stats for Bratislava ...... !! i aint checked the fact yet but was told of a mate that he has scored 48 in 52 games or something like that !! im in work and cant get access to wiki or whatever site would tell me ... anyone confirm this ?! surely not !

On 15 September 2010 Šebo joined Slovan Bratislava. The striker become free agent from the French club of Valenciennes and signed a deal until June 2012 with the Slovak side.[7] From the 10th round onwards he scored 22 league goals and, subsequently, became the top scorer of the league once again, beating the nearest opponent by 4 goals, while playing only in approximately 22 competitive matches, leaving former employers mystified.

New stats out yesterday show that Rangers have the WORST disciplinary record of SPL teams, and that is with your tame referees turning blind eyes to Healy, lafferty's shocking tackles at Parkhead and Goian escaping another red card at Perth. If Scottish referees did their job properly without bias then Rangers would always be the worst offenders because of the kickers in their team Timalloy

Believable6 Unbelievable13

Ok tim, another pointless fact brought to you by a man infatuated with rangers.disciplinary doesnt reflect on talent, team spirit or bottle or longevity.dont be angry about disciplinary,be angry that your team possesses none of the aforementioned and thats why you havent won the league in 3 seasons.

People banging on about "Rangers quality" need to wake up. If players are doing well in the SPL then they're good enough. If we sold Jela i'd happily take Boyd, Riordan and Skacel on short term deals until the end of the season. Worth a punt

Believable4 Unbelievable5

Would take Skacel as has provide he can score in the SPL and we would get him on a free

To all the scaremongers yes we're skinto but we'll still win the league, that lot will bottle it as per usual. who gives a flying f*** about the courtcase. keeping the faith........K

Believable3 Unbelievable7

Can't believe our most convincing chance of success in the SPL is hoping Celtic bottle it.

Steven.

Agree3 Disagree2

Aye well,we fairly bottled it when you lot had a 15 point lead

Agree1 Disagree0

No your right use didnt bottle it when use were 15 points behind us because there was no pressure on use to botle it but ure team will bottle it when it gets down to the last couple of games in the spl as shown last year

I definately think there could be easy money to be made if we sold the name of the stadium to a company as part of a sponsorship deal. Okay, we might have to listen to people calling it the 'stagecoach stadium' but all the fans will still call it Ibrox FFS my I still call Morrisons Safeway!

Believable6 Unbelievable2

To be fare Morrisons has a better team and their tax bill is up to date, going with the money the shyte knight paid for you maybe POUNDSTRETCHERS will be interested in the naming rights

Agree5 Disagree2

I still call morrisons Presto! haha

I know this may not be easy to follow but Bear with me....

I work for Sky, lots of people default on their contractual obligations for differing amounts and as a debtor we give them the chance to pay in one lump and be cleared or in dribs and drabs and have your credit rating spanked.
The one thing we don't do is say "Sorry were gonna liquidate you and take a fraction"

No one benefits!

Mr Taxman (I was one) wants his dollar, if an agreement can be reached as to the final figure, even in installment form than HMRC will take it as long as Whyte is not takin the P*ss.

The Gers fans, Scottish football and the Scottish Parliament cannot allow vital sanction on one of our national institutes to happen, a deal will be done to repay what eventually is decided is owed.

After all....The Auld Firm goes and gets replaced by Celtic V's Partick Thistle as a derby?

No cash cow there for Sky is there?

I expect the clungemonkeys to say I'm not Blue enough or Loyal enough but also the smarter amongst us to reply with reasonable dignified comment.

What would happen if whyte bolts after 2 years for talking sake and he hasnt paid in full....would the new owner be liable for the shortfall?be back to square one again.

Agree2 Disagree1

Whyte has previous of not paying debts.

in fact he's still at it by not submitting or paying p.a.y.e

so, do you really think HMRC will allow this conman to pay up in installments eh?

Agree7 Disagree0

I honestly think a deal will be u struck up at a fraction of the quoted 49million,but i am concerned in the running of our club. WATP

Agree1 Disagree5

This case has become very very high profile in the media. I would be shocked if HMRC just accepted part payment on this. They cant show that the company can win this fight as what message does that put across to other businesses? Do what you want and just pay part of the amount due? No. I see HMRC taking the gers to the cleaners on this am afraid. We are in trouble and we have to realise that. To us gers are everything to them it is just another company which owes them money. be afraid bears be very afraid.

Don

Agree7 Disagree1

We are going into administration if we lose tax case anyway

Agree5 Disagree0

Its only high profile in the scottish press - nobody else gives a s**t - - which shows exactly where scottish football sits in the big scheme of things

Agree0 Disagree2

Just a thought but could whyte not 'sue' those who put RFC in this position - - & why are those people getting an easy ride??

Agree0 Disagree3

He bought rangers for a quid, why would he sue murray etc?whyte hasnt got the cash....why did he buy rangers?

Agree2 Disagree1

Looks like whyte has a secret agenda.maybie his co-directors hold the key along with the new G51 regeneration, grants etc plus investment from ellis n betts.seems pretty certain were heading to admin. blueforyou

Agree1 Disagree2

Bollox.first off,the two glasgow giants are the old firm, not the auld firm, nice bit of research there.secondly,i think you,ll find a company doing her majestys government out of £50m is a wee bit different to john smith no paying his £30 a month sky subscription.get real mate

Read the post my friend. I am not talking about just Joe Blogs saying 'hey am not gona pay the vat on that' I am talking about business's. I run a rather large business myself. Why should I then pay PAYE? If Rangers can get away with it and just pay a part of the mount then why cant I? No my friend we are getting shut down.

i told yous that in december that he is only a front man for sir d murray and after the hrmc case is over will buy back so he can try to be the savior of our club and hoping the fans will for give him for the mess he caused that what i heard

Believable1 Unbelievable5

Murray's other businesses are in big trouble he's losing money by the day, he's no interest in rangers.

Agree5 Disagree1

Murray is semi retired in France. M I H are due the bank of Scotland over 700 million pounds. Just can't see him wanting any thing to do with us.
