17 Dec 2017 16:36:24
Guys,

We all in same boat so hear me out, I heard GM post match interview, clearly taking it's toll some one from board ( Dave King) has to come out and speak it not fair on us anymore and totally unfair on GM
personally whatever happens will always remember he stood by us
worried the board don't know what to do and how to take us forward
welcome your thoughts.

17 Dec 2017 18:45:24
Totally agree. I think the players need stability and need to know who the next manager is going to be. Murty has done well however leading up to the old firm game the pressure will get worse. The board and the DOF have this window to get it sorted or fans will need to vote with their feet.

17 Dec 2017 21:41:06
At the end of the day we are pish and that's a fact

18 Dec 2017 09:41:19
Talking about our DOF what does this guy even do, he should at least come out and let us know what's going on instead of leaving it to murty who I think is doing a fantastic job in the circumstances we are in, because we are a complete shambles at boardroom level and again we are laughing stock again, enough is enough we need answers and we need them now!

18 Dec 2017 19:12:55
THe players need to start performing or the next manager won’t want any of them

18 Dec 2017 19:21:32
naw did you see them all laughing an joking at their xmas night last night if that was me i'd have hid after yesterdays shambolic display

17 Dec 2017 16:07:06
Does anybody really think these players feel our pain and frustration. I mean no disrespect but Hamilton, Dundee, St Johnstone should not put 3 points in the back pocket against us.

17 Dec 2017 21:29:55
I think guys like Young McCrorie does. Came through the ranks. Plays for jersey. Can see the disappointment in his face

There is however many imposters who possibly can’t handle the pressure of playing for our club.

I feel for Murty. Board need to act now. This is utter nonsense now.

17 Dec 2017 22:25:23
Bigalthunder, if the rumours about pulis are true then maybe he doesn't want to take over less than two weeks before we face celtic. After all if he took the job now and we get hammered at the end of the month what chance would he be given then. At least if he takes over in January he can assess the squad now and look at who he possibly wants or doesn't want and who he needs to bring in. After the hearts result maybe there is a slim chance of the league this season. You never know. Who would have predicted hearts beating them 4-0?

17 Dec 2017 23:34:27
Pulis will be in start of January. Also a punter placed £5 on 4 - 0 and walked away with a grand lol what a maniac

18 Dec 2017 19:16:55
Rangers fans should stay away from Ibrox until a new manager is announced otherwise it will drag on and on. Need to hit the board in the pocket. They appoint or need to prop it up again which they will do because they are in too far to stop now

17 Dec 2017 15:55:28
just think right now, if we had beaten Hamilton, Dundee and St Johnstone, which let's be honest we SHOULD have, we would now be ahead at the top by 4 points and Celtic with only one game in hand, MAKES YOU SICK doesn't IT.

17 Dec 2017 16:09:48
I was just thinking the same Ritchie. Things could be so much different but i am still happy that we are only single figures behind them even if they win the game in hand

17 Dec 2017 20:33:19
Agreed, and after Hearts pumping them today, it shows what desire and fight can do and also they are there for the taking, certainly not playing with the same level of intensity they did last season, however it's do frustrating that we keep shooting ourselves in the foot.

17 Dec 2017 20:52:43
If your auntie had b. s!

18 Dec 2017 19:03:39
Correct, Robbie73w, we're moaning because things are undoubtedly bad right now, at the start of the season most posters on here were saying cut the gap to single figures and maybe reach a cup final they would consider that a successful season. Now the Fickle Loyal want everybody's head because that's what is actually happening.

18 Dec 2017 19:04:32
What is sick is the amount of money wasted on the foreign duds. With the exception of morelos are any of them any better than what warbs signed? Herrera-garner. Candieas-waghorn. Alves-hill. Cardoso-wilson. Pena-windass. Now that's a sickener. 8mil straight down the drain and to be honest the majority of people on here could have spent that 8mil better. I hope this dof knows what he is doing in january because he is the last excuse standing between the board and the fans.

18 Dec 2017 19:07:43
It's all ifs and buts. By your logic what's to say Celtic wouldn't have went in and won a couple of their games? Hypothetical nonsense

18 Dec 2017 19:17:34
Let’s put this nonsense that we should have beat Kilmarnock, Hamilton, Dundee and St Johnstone to bed.

We weren’t good enough to beat them. The odd freak result I get. Upsets happen. But 4 times? Also the performance against hibs was terrible.

Wake up. We haven’t improved from the team that got promoted. Jason Holt is arguably still our best midfielder and Danny Wilson our best defender. We are a miles away from having a team that can mount a challenge. Not one of Pedros signings have improved the team . We are going back the way. Our board can’t even appoint a manager and our director of football and chief exec are hiding behind our under 20s manager and yet we have people on here saying we should be top of the league by 4 points. Really?

It’s not good enough.

19 Dec 2017 02:06:51
Ordinarily we could torture ourselves with what-if scenarios regarding Hamilton, Dundee and St Johnstone because they might have sneaked a win against us. However, they didn't, they all pumped us fair and square and we didn't look like winning any of them. St Johnstone were even better than us before we scored.

I think it's remarkable that we still get 40k + crowds.

17 Dec 2017 14:13:34
Am sick of this either get a manager in or give murty the job. What type of a team keeps interm manager this long. Get a grip board or the fans will do some talking for you with there pockets. Are we in that bad a state we can't attracted any calibre or manager, personally am sick of it. I can't only get behind the team so far and am struggling atm. I want a manager In that dugout wearing a suit and tie for the next game.

17 Dec 2017 15:09:43
After today's result it makes our 3 defeats worse thoughts

18 Dec 2017 19:02:03
It doesn't matter what that mob do because we’ve not got any sort of consistency at all. even if you take them out the league i'm not convinced we’d beat Aberdeen over the course if i'm being honest

17 Dec 2017 13:52:27
I would give the kids a chance there's to many fraudsters playing for rangers Morelos couldn't score in a brothel the others can't tackle a fish supper can't pass water never mind a ball . a really feel sorry for the true diehards who're wasting their hard earned cash to go and watch this crap.

17 Dec 2017 14:06:59
Is that the same Morelos who is the league's top scorer and has three goals in the last three games?

17 Dec 2017 21:05:05
Morelos isn’t very good. Big boydie is scoring loads of goals for killie just now. Does that make him a great player?

Compare Morelos to jelavic, our last forward of note, and there isn’t much of a comparison is there?

17 Dec 2017 22:07:34
Morelòs is a good player would be a brill player if we could sign a player that could pass ball to his feet reckon he would score plenty

17 Dec 2017 22:12:16
Morelos's movement is really good, he is scoring goals, offers a physical challenge for defenders marking him and he's still only 21 and will certainly improve. Yes he's missed a few sitters in the last few games but as stated he will improve with age.

Boyd is a natural goal scorer and 34.

If you think the two are comparable then that is your opinion and your welcome to it but it certainly differs from mine.

17 Dec 2017 22:12:34
Jelavic was a fully seasoned pro that if i'm right cost us 4 mill? what would that be in todays money? Morelos is a young stiker learning his trade and the state we are in are asking him to learn at the sharp end. for a million quid and the age he is at, i don't think we can grumble at the return he has given us so far and he will only get better. there are a lot of flaws in our squad we should be addressing before him

18 Dec 2017 18:58:41
Good job Morelos wasn’t in a brothel last 3 games then. is this where drunk people come to express narrow mindednes and un thought out jibberish?

17 Dec 2017 13:50:53
If we had got our act together after warbs, I really think we could have made a challenge this year. I don't really think Celtic are very good bar 2 or 3 players. Considering we are a club in crisis, we are only 5 points off the so called domestic invincible. Get a mix with youth and a bit of experience, so disappointed the board allowed Pedro to waste all that money on Pena and herrera. I honestly could have built a better team with that dough.

17 Dec 2017 14:03:04
If we'd won yesterday we'd only be two behind, tic getting hammered the day, a lot to play for, 4-0 Hearts!

17 Dec 2017 14:32:26
Before the board let pedro go they should had a replacment lined up and that would have gave us a fighting chance.
majority of these players are not good enough so i do no if a new manager would have made a diffrence
the new man has to be backed in jan

17 Dec 2017 14:38:04
Angyman why do people keep saying if we had won yesterday we didn't we're not good enough in your world if we'd beaten Hamilton and Dundee we'd be miles out in front but we didn't that team are gutless imposters

17 Dec 2017 15:13:46
Murty is an honourable man and a good coach, the team have improved under him compared to Pedro, but I've said it before we can't challenge for anything until we consistently beat everyone else in the league, then the OF games take care of themselves. I think we need now someone who gets in a few players faces and let's his feelings be known when they're not doing it!

18 Dec 2017 11:00:59
Listen the new manager will not be making lots signings, I would hope the board let him buy 3 descent quality players, even try and be a bit braver but until a new manager is appointed we won't know. As for murty getting lessons from lennon no wonder we got beat.

18 Dec 2017 19:08:58
Totally agree with you there, and Mark Hughes who i hear is either away to leave stoke cause of lack of investment in January for new players, or if Rumours are right is just 2 possibly 1 game away from the sack, would be perfect at that and he would definitely get into players faces if needed and would also get rid of the Premadona's and the dead wood without a blink of an eye.

17 Dec 2017 13:06:28
Daily Record saying there is a 3 man short list of Pulis, Giggs and Osian Roberts for the job. Giggs is an interesting one but I quite fancy Pulis. Personally think he’s a bit under rated as a manager. He was also talking us up the other day and said he didn’t want to start a job until new year

17 Dec 2017 13:34:33
Mprent111
Think you need to read article again that's the list for the welsh job not the Rangers job

17 Dec 2017 19:20:52
Yeah that's the wales job

17 Dec 2017 11:58:41
We know we do not have the quality players to compete week in week out. What we took in were not Rangers class. Unfortunatley we do not have the funds to buy better. We must play our young players to gane experience and they will be fighters that's what our team needs fighters not shirkers that hide during a game. Until we get a new manager in I think that's they way to go.

17 Dec 2017 19:23:37
We have played mcorie bates barjonas and hardie this season so don't understand people keep saying we need to play youth because we are. We can't realistically play anymore young kids than that after all we still have the pressure of must win every week.

17 Dec 2017 11:53:03
Not impressed by the 4 mentioned today.

17 Dec 2017 11:43:19
what do fellow rangers fans think of pulis i personally feel he would be a good choice as manager knows the game and knows how to get results and make his team solid and to work as a unit something we lack.

I think our club would also benifit from trying to get some good coaches on board to get the best out of the players aswell instead of jobs for old players

17 Dec 2017 13:59:25
Hes rank rotten. Pulis might aswell get the kilbirnie ladeside manager in.

17 Dec 2017 14:38:20
fodtheprod-you don't half talk some bile mate, pulis is a better manager than mcinnes done it at a higher level

17 Dec 2017 15:06:33
Totally echo your full post truebluesotrue! Fodtheprod, is your real address 66,moon crescent in Mars mate? You are certainly from a different stratosphere my friend!

17 Dec 2017 18:22:04
Pulis might end up back at Stoke when they sack Mark Hughes unless the board get the finger out. some chance!
Pulis would not put up with the lack of fight and the crap defending we saw against St Johnstone. He would sort them out and get them playing for the jersey.

17 Dec 2017 18:42:40
PulIs is miles better than McInnes. Came second has he? Won a cup has he? . away and Gez peace. I would back him all the way if he becomes manager but on what grounds is he better than McInnes? It's like comparing Derek Johnstone to Terry Butcher. different

17 Dec 2017 19:09:28
dutch- remind me who did derek johnstone manage and what has butcher won you talk more drivel than fodtheprod, butcher sacked from every job he has been in

17 Dec 2017 19:56:39
dutch- pulis has consistently performed in the EPL at a number of clubs and forged a solid repuatation. you know the EPL? the league no one would ever let McInnes near? Who cares if he has won one diddy cup and finished second when all real rivals to it weren't even in the league.

17 Dec 2017 21:29:54
Tony Pulis has managed in the EPL for over 10 years. Can't believe people are trying to say he's not as good as McInnes because he's not came second in the SPL 😂! I'm sure keeping teams afloat in a position worth over £80m a year to them isn't pressure. And triumphing in the pursuit of the EPL dream doesn't come with prestige.
Waken up. Pulis is a great manager but Macdoj is right, he will end up at Stoke when Hughes gets sacked and will be given millions for a short term contract.

18 Dec 2017 18:59:48
I’d take Ian Holloway

17 Dec 2017 11:39:10
If the board don't come up with a new proven manager soon and let him improve that squad in jan i won't be renewing my book which I've held for 30 years pains me to say it but 45000 of us paying to watch the same rubbish season after season and be treated like mugs its an absolute embarrassment.

17 Dec 2017 11:25:00
So Walter was giving Murty some advice before the Hibs game, I think Murty has selected the wrong W on his contact list before the game yesterday and spoke to Warburton, because that's the p. h I watched when he was at Ibrox. Absolutely no idea going forward. All Jack did was play the ball across the middle of the park. Windass is never a Ranger, no heart, Morelos needs balls to his feet and on the occasions we get up the park what do we do! . Lump high balls into the box with no Rangers players in it as they are still trying to get up the park.
I'm fed up hearing time for a new manager and we need two or three or four quality players. There's nothing any manager could do with that dross and were lucky if we have three or four players fit to wear that jersey. And still we follow on.

17 Dec 2017 09:54:07
For years now we have not been a good footballing side and get out played by many teams that on paperhave lesser players than us. this goes back to when we played in bottom divisions. Part timers were out performing us with ease yet we would scrape a win. How is it Hibs, Ross County, Dundee’ saints and others play decent passing football yet we can’t put 3 passes together with so called superior players. Coaches can make players tactically better and assist with fitness yet good footballers all can pass. it seems that once a player has arrived at the mighty Glasgow Rangers they have hit a height that they may never surpass and give up taking the wage to go with it. It’s ok saying other teams try harder against us. so what does that mean all tactics and footballing skills knowledge goes out the window and it’s licence to run about aimlessly. Rant over.

17 Dec 2017 09:31:00
Has anybody watched Si Ferry's interviews on YouTube with Kevin Thomson, Lee Mccolluch, Kris Boyd etc?

They talk about Walter being feared if he players did not perform and Big Jig even mentioned that if Watty gave them a look at training for arsing around then they would know they were in for a bollocking.

This is exactly what this lot need, Murty said in his post match interview that he entered the dressing room at FT and said 'I'm not going to shout and get angry but that wasn't good enough'. Well i'm sorry but even at HT, those players should be scared going into the Rangers dressing room at 1-1 to St Johnstone with that pityful performance.

At full time dressing room door should be locked and every single one of those players should be roasted for how they performed. Not let off the hook that easily and be told 'it wasn't good enough' and off they go.

We need a strong figure to lead this mob.

18 Dec 2017 18:52:32
Agree 100% he sees himself as one of them, he knows most of them well and doesn’t want to burn bridges. I noticed that comment too, I thought this team needs a teacup smasher at half time and Murty was never doing to do that. The problem is as I can see at the moment they are being ‘over coached’ it’s like you can see they’re thinking about being in triangles all the time and positioning too much instead of just playing with a flow.

Murty said they had a meeting and looked at how St j would play and set up etc, no need with teams like that, hows about saying right just go out there and enjoy it and tear into this mob, I want 100% commitment, win the 50/ 50 and play with confidence or you’ll be coming off. Tactical analysis against teams like this is not needed, it’s the SPL, we shouldn’t be worried about what they’re going to do, just play our own game.

17 Dec 2017 08:46:53
Alves can forget getn another call up for Portugal. he's been shockn for us.

17 Dec 2017 09:44:43
Very slow. All opposing strikers have to do is go wide and he's lost at sea. Predictable.

17 Dec 2017 02:16:44
So sky sports reporting that rangers managerial search set to go into new year as Tony pullis wants Xmas off. interesting

17 Dec 2017 06:40:51
I've repeatedly said on here, that our directors should have appointed a new manager, long before now! In saying that, if it is tony pulis that we're now wanting to appoint, as the new rangers manager, then waiting another 2 weeks to get him, i'd honestly take that, as tony pulis would be worth the extra wait! Hopefully get everything tied up just now and all things being well, we could hopefully unveil pulis early january!

17 Dec 2017 09:35:15
If it is Pullis (and I very much doubt it ) they need to get him signed up and the fans and players told then maybe the players will give a bit as they will know the manager is watching them

18 Dec 2017 18:48:36
Pulis will be off to Stoke when Hughes gets the bullet

17 Dec 2017 00:23:03
That's the worst performance I've seen in a long long time. We were all over the place and shape was all wrong. Murty is fire fighting or papering over cracks or whatever you wanna call it, he can't be blamed for the mess we are in and even after the Aberdeen wins I never believed he was the man to take us forward. We need someone in ASAP and I really fear for us in old firm game if we don't. Need to be realistic with next manager as we are skint, O'Neil and after today st Johnstone manager will be obvious choices but I think Clarke just in at Killie is a good shout! Has EPL experience and now SPL also.

17 Dec 2017 09:37:16
Scotty totally agree can't blame Murty he is out of his depth and been hung out to dry by this shambles of a board who need to tell us what the hell is happening
