Greg Stewart was signed for the type of game face against East Fife tomorrow. Really hope he plays and does well.

17 Aug 2019 20:44:44
The McCoist stand. In honour of the greatest ever Ranger!

17 Aug 2019 21:32:16
Hes not the greatest ever ranger though.

17 Aug 2019 21:39:25
Wouldn't argue with that, as a player and also his devotion when we hit rock bottom.

17 Aug 2019 21:48:49
Now that’s a proper suggestion. A true legend.

17 Aug 2019 22:54:38
He was/ is Paul. There's nobody will ever come close in my eyes. I am glad I am old enough to remember every single goal that broke Tim hearts!

17 Aug 2019 22:57:14
I agree, McCoist is a legend but is not the greatest ever Ranger.

17 Aug 2019 23:11:32
I thought john greig already had that title? . Each to there own opinion tho.

18 Aug 2019 00:26:25
Coisty was the one thread of continuity in the dark years, it was like a one man ship. He wasn't a great manager, but he would not let it sink, and on top of that one of our finest strikers to boot.

18 Aug 2019 09:16:12
Yeah I’d agree with that, let’s recognise the guy who took £850k a year to manage us in the third division. They once he was sacked, still took his £850k pay off.

Not a chance, loved him as a player, loved his goals, hated what he done post liquidation.

18 Aug 2019 09:46:50
Bill Struth, was the greatest Ranger. Bowler hat and all.

18 Aug 2019 11:19:18
Yes rock . plus slated green until he got his thousands of shares and mysteriously backed him overnight . John Greg walked out and didn’t accept a penny.

18 Aug 2019 13:03:27
SRK, Mols Have to agree with both off your comments regarding McCoist, I remember when he first came to Rangers from Sunderland he struggled big time, But once he found his feet He was a great goal scorer, Scored many Important goals for us, Especially against THEM, But as a manager he was 🐕💩, And took Rangers for a ride financially, He went down in my estimations massively 😡Anyway all the best to the Famous today. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇦🇺.

18 Aug 2019 14:00:09
Honestly guys, I wouldn’t hear a bad word about him as a player, loved the guy and I really wanted him to succeed as our manager. I just can’t accept he’s a true legend after what happened. I’d have paid Rangers to let me manage them!

18 Aug 2019 14:38:33
McCoist not a true legend. The Tims and Lennon are rubbing of on you lads. I am having none of that. He is and forever shall be, the greatest man to belong to our club. Case closed your honour!

18 Aug 2019 15:29:53
C of Ibrox. So what You are saying. He was worth the 850 thousand a year he collected as The Rangers Manager, Have a wurd wi yurself Son, The greatest Ranger will Always be John Greig, Case closed. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇦🇺.

17 Aug 2019 16:54:56
leonbhoy back into hiding 🤣🤣🤣🤣.

17 Aug 2019 16:43:19
Any news on Thursdays game in Poland on TV? 🇬🇧.

17 Aug 2019 20:51:43
Yately1, I'm sure Rangers TV will be covering the game mate.

17 Aug 2019 21:54:40
Rangers have swapped the rights with TVP and will show both games on rangers TV. More money from rangers TV than premier sports offer. Unless premier sports come up with another 35k at least it will be on rangers TV.

18 Aug 2019 08:05:39
Lately, apparently it's also on BT sport.

18 Aug 2019 11:24:59
Apologies for last post. Today's game on BT and Thursday's game on Rangers TV.

17 Aug 2019 16:06:42
What do think guys naming the new stand at the hummel arena. The Fernando Rickson stand.

17 Aug 2019 18:09:51
Absolutely awful what has happened to Ricksen and what he is going through is an incredible shame. But he seems to have become a legend due to his illness, when as a player he was nowhere near it. So it’s a no from me.

17 Aug 2019 18:20:57
Good shout but surely Davie Cooper should be awarded an accolade at our great club. A man who gave his career to the club he adored🇬🇧.

17 Aug 2019 18:41:42
I would like to see a memorial outside Ibrox that could accept more than one ex player that were taken in their prime due to ill health. Perhaps linked to the Rangers Charity. To name the stand is not a bad idea but is it going to be a permanent fixture, will it still be there in 20 years.
Another idea would be to name a trophy after Fernando Ricksen and perhaps a one off game between us and one of his other teams or a dutch 1st eleven with all proceeds going to a MND charity.
We will do something, I have no doubt, that keeps his memory and spirit alive for as long as Ibrox and Rangers exist.

17 Aug 2019 18:03:34
Love fernando mate, but why not the davie cooper, Jim Baxter etc, we have lost a lot of heroes before their time.

17 Aug 2019 19:13:03
Yeah fernando is behind a long list of legends am afraid. While were on sensitive matters. Folk die every single day but seems like since last season folk are wanting a mins applause at almost every game for the brother or aunty. Can we not just have like 2 mins applause at end or start of every season for the bears that are no longer with us?

17 Aug 2019 20:43:05
Ricksen as a player was not a legend. His illness made him that? Can't believe I have just read that to be honest!

17 Aug 2019 21:00:23
Bears, this could spiral out of control. Please think before posting. We don't want to start a pissing contest on the back of ex Rangers players serious misfortunes and how we rank them. Please show some respect and humility when speaking about this subject.

17 Aug 2019 22:01:50
Good post TJBB.

17 Aug 2019 22:25:02
Well said TJBB I'm glad someone tried to put a stop to this matter before the wrong words were said. I'm not saying anyone is right or wrong in their opinions but best keep them to ourselves 👍.

18 Aug 2019 01:26:37
The twelth man stand. Respect to ever member of the family and respect to the family who are no longer with us.

18 Aug 2019 07:51:02
TJBB, that’s a great shout. Maybe a pre season challenge cup or something with another of his clubs? Or a mini tournament. Like that idea a lot and with an opportunity to help charity. Excellent idea. I’d love to see that happen.

18 Aug 2019 08:57:05
Of course big respect to all members of our rangers family that are still around and of course the absent friends, who are no longer with us!
I truly think its a good idea/ shout,
to name our recently errected stand,
at the hummel training centre, after a glasgow rangers legend, why not? It personally would come down to these 3 great rangers legends for me, to have the stand named after them/ in their honour. The 3 i think it should be between is sir walter smith (he's a sir in my eyes), ally mccoist (the greatest goalscorer in our history) and the late great davie cooper (an absolute genius of a left winger with a left peg like a wand) . I wouldn't grumble with any of these 3 greats having a stand named after them!

18 Aug 2019 20:25:04
I suggested a while ago in Twitter about all his ex clubs and team mates competing in a cup and the proceeds going between his family, the hospice and MND charities.

18 Aug 2019 23:29:09
With regards to who is and who is not a legend. Any player who played for the famous and still has us in his heart is a legend.

17 Aug 2019 11:23:33
Anyone think we should go for the boy Evander from FC Midtjylland he looked really good against us and watching him online also he can certainly hit a ball from range and he's very skilful and technically brilliant. Would only cost 3-5 million mark.

17 Aug 2019 13:07:42
The boy Sory Kaba looked useful. Big, strong, quick and technically good. Would be delighted with him, Morelos and Defoe as striking options this season.

17 Aug 2019 13:47:21
Thought both these players looked useful. How do you know the price for evander though lol.

17 Aug 2019 16:45:17
Didn’t think any of the Danes players were good enough for us! 😬.

17 Aug 2019 20:27:22
I agree with Yately, we should only be looking at players that stand out against us like Barasic!

The big centre forward did look pretty decent, with very limited service.

17 Aug 2019 22:55:50
Nope, not for me.

18 Aug 2019 17:55:55
Barasic looked good against us too.

17 Aug 2019 10:27:25
Dunfermline are 35/ 1 to win today's match at the midden heap. Tempted to stick a £10 for fun. You never know! Also, the unwashed play Hearts at home in the league before they come to Ibrox. Perhaps the Jam Tarts can take points of them. Regardless of what they do, it is looking much more likely this season that the team will not make the slip-ups of last season against the like of Dundee or St Johnstone.

17 Aug 2019 11:30:20
Save your money DOIGER and bet us to win the league doubled with alfredo morelos to be the top goalscorer, in the scottish premiership mate.

17 Aug 2019 13:46:09
Doiger I've stuck £15 on Dunfermline btts and win at 45/ 1. No chance Celtic don't score but Dunfermline have scored a lot recently so if they are to win there's going to be goals. Highly unlikely bet but just couldn't resist the thought of their week getting worse 🤣.

17 Aug 2019 08:27:12
I've watched videos Legia Warsaw v Atromitos and they are a dangerous side going forward, tricky right winger and decent strikes at goal, intimidating crowd, good passers of the ball so this will be a tough game. Their weakness seems to be in defence so hopefully we can grab a goal or three, but we have to cut out the sloppiness at the back or they will punish us. Com on the Gers!

17 Aug 2019 10:47:58
Those sloppy goals conceded against the Danes need to be eliminated. McGregor and defence need to do better.

17 Aug 2019 11:32:48
What i will say is that our games against legia warsaw, won't be as open as our games against midtjylland. But i still rate midtjylland a better team than legia warsaw.

17 Aug 2019 12:56:30
Bankie, it’s not just the defence and goalkeeper to blame for conceding goals. The entire team dipped for 15mins in both games, the midfield couldn’t string two passes together during those spells. The entire team need to take responsibility for conceding.

17 Aug 2019 14:26:54
Well said Zikos it’s not one or two players that make a team, Everyone is responsible, From the first eleven to the Subs, 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇦🇺.

18 Aug 2019 11:29:56
Looking for McGregor to up his game, does not look as confident or comfortable between the sticks.
