I'd take Billy Sharp from Sheffeild United in a heartbeat right know. yes he's 31, but also the top scorer across England's 4 leagues! Out of contract at the end of the season, and affordable.

17 Apr 2017 16:29:26
We need a striker who is sharp in the box and billy fits the bill.

17 Apr 2017 17:31:56
Some Rangers supporters slaughtered MW for bringing in lower league players from England, now you want one from Sheffield United? make your minds up!

17 Apr 2017 18:33:24
Not saying we should or shouldn't sign him, but surely you can see the difference between Billy Sharp and the players MW signed from the English lower leagues, dth100? No comparison.

18 Apr 2017 10:13:57
Billy Sharp is at least 30 and is hardly exactly mobile.

18 Apr 2017 10:16:47
One striker I would love us to sign is kaspar dolberg, but I think we would have to sell our full squad to afford half his fee lol.

18 Apr 2017 10:45:33
I would give nile RANGER a chance at the gers an goalie rossbach from odd

18 Apr 2017 11:22:36
Nile Ranger is an absolute trouble-making head banger! wouldn't want him anywhere near our team! he has a tattoo inside his mouth!

The big goalie Rossbach is a good keeper but I actually think Wes deserves his place in the team, by far one of our most consistent performers

18 Apr 2017 13:19:08
Nile ranger what a waste of space he is

18 Apr 2017 14:28:25
Wes, Kelly and mcrorie should be our keepers next season.

18 Apr 2017 22:41:19
wes is a brilliant keeper and will be better if we can get a good defence in this season that and a striker should be our focus as i think if the team is defending better and scoring more the players we already have will pick up their game i. e. barry mckay! (hopefully)

i hope the manager sees that cb's and a striker are a must if he doesn't bring in better quality rather than quantity we will fall even further behind that manky mob across the city

19 Apr 2017 14:33:32
I know its all about opinions guys but how anyone can question Big Wes' quality is beyond me. If it wasn't for him we'd have dropped far more points than we have

17 Apr 2017 13:20:21
I see Matt Crooks has succumbed to a season ending injury at Scunthorpe. Same happened to him last season, he wasn't fit for pre-season and never got going after that though he was never given a proper chance. Looks like the same will happen this summer. Shame for the big guy but have to wonder whether he'll be on his way when fit again?

17 Apr 2017 16:40:29
If he has any ambition he'll turn down scunny and return to us to show pedro what he's all about. We need a big tall defensive midfielder and he could save us a bit of money if he can stay fit.

17 Apr 2017 18:08:15
JD90

With that injury I don't think he will have any choice but to return and then prove his fitness again.

17 Apr 2017 18:56:43
Hopefully next season he'll actually be giving a chance then as warburton clearly didn't trust him in there and played halliday instead. He and rossiter will be like two new signings if we ever get them fit.

18 Apr 2017 08:22:30
Does anyone believe that he is the player that some folk on here would want us to believe he is. I for one held great hope for him but to be honest I don't think he is, look at the crap some justified that tav, halliday, holt, Wilson, waghorn, Wallace, foderingham and mackay have taken but they have given more than crookes and who knows some of these guys will have had knocks and played through pain that others would feel the need to go on the treatment table with but they have the balls to put themselves in the firing line, where as crookes and rossiter have done nothing to justify this great hope status to me they could just be more in the Daniel prodan mold. Durrant, mols, nesbit, maclaren all played before and showed courage and determination to get back these guys don't have that as they get too much too young, hopefully I'm proved wrong but it really doesn't seem that way.

18 Apr 2017 09:14:52
Crooks was unlucky with injury last season and it looks like the guy is jinked. Until we see him play we cannot make a fair decision on his ability and he has certainly been playing well while on loan. The guy was never given a chance by Warburton who played Halliday consistently out of position.

No wonder Halliday was rubbish and no wonder Crooks wanted out!

Perhaps we will see an all round better more aggressive team now that Warburton is gone and I wish Crooks every success in making it at Rangers.

18 Apr 2017 10:17:33
I feel gutted for crooks, he was playing well for scunny, the guy has had a torrid time with injuries. this latest injury might rule him out of this pre season again. I would love to see a fully fit mat crooks to see how good or bad he can be.

18 Apr 2017 22:42:07
for me crooks had a first touch like flo's and didn't impress at all when i saw him

18 Apr 2017 23:21:28
Matt Crooks looked average anytime he was guven game time. Wont be missed sorry. When fit ship him out. We are Rangers. Sell out crowds all season. We have one team to catch next season.

19 Apr 2017 14:36:58
He played like twice!

20 Apr 2017 01:27:40
How can you say when he was given game time, he was played out of position in the one full game he was given by a manager that was not fit for purpose in the SPL.

20 Apr 2017 12:01:31
Spot on tom, he was playing well down south, the is the last thing he needed.

17 Apr 2017 12:51:34
Who would you bin, who would you try bring in?

If I was pedro it would be goodbye to -
Kiernan,
Halliday,
MOH,
Garner/ Waghorn (not both)
Forrester,
Hill,
McKay (if we get over £3mil which is a push) .

I cannot have an idea of all his targets but I would definitely bring in -
Jack,
A. Crawford,
Liam Lindsay,
Cadden

Add into that a new RB, striker, another cb and another winger and i'd be happy. The boys I've mentioned would bring some real stability and domestic talent who know the league, then add some flair and talent on top to take us to the next level.

17 Apr 2017 13:41:26
I'd say goodbye to halliday, but he would probably walk back in the door

17 Apr 2017 16:03:31
Alnwick (Liam Kelly is more than capable to be back up to fod)
Hodson
Kiernan
Senderos
Hill
Moh
Forrester

Bring in:
Stevie mallan
Liam Lindsay
Weiss
Jason Cummings

And a more experienced centre half and centre mid.

17 Apr 2017 16:30:38
I would keep hill for another year. As for the four boys you would bring in spoc, I don't think they are any better than what we have, and they certainly wouldn't help us compete with celtic. It all depends on the budget I suppose.

17 Apr 2017 16:38:53
Spoc, you really don't have much ambition for our club, do you? The four players you want the manager to bring in are already playing at the highest level they will ever reach, and that's mediocre. Pedro has to build a squad capable of winning the league and maintaining European places in the next two years. These players wouldn't take us anywhere near that. In fact they'd be lucky to get a game right now, never mind next season.

17 Apr 2017 20:50:50
The successful rangers team of recent times have always had solid talent with better players on top. McCulloch, Whittaker, Edu, Papac, Weir, Thomson. its a long list. We need a solid group we can rely on.

17 Apr 2017 22:33:23
Liam Lindsay will be a Scotland international. It's a certainty

18 Apr 2017 00:03:04
Being a Scotland international isn't much of an accolade these days. Especially when it's the same old favorites picked

18 Apr 2017 09:16:05
Spoc, I agree with those that should leave but I want to see a significantly higher calibre of player arrive at Rangers than most of those that you have suggested.

18 Apr 2017 10:03:21
I could get a game for Scotland so that's no biggy.

18 Apr 2017 10:14:03
He is the best centre back in Scotland out with celtic and rangers. Easily.

18 Apr 2017 10:18:54
I don't want any Scottish based players, I hope the gaffer has a few players he knows from abroad, but time will tell.

18 Apr 2017 12:03:16
I would bring in
Liam Lindsay or micky devlin
Weiss
Paulinho
Jack
Patterson

Along with the Ghana cb and a good striker and another mid

Get rid of
Halliday
Kiernan
Garner
Forrester
Mon
Senderos

Resign
Miller
Hill

Next year team
Fodderinham
Patterson
Ghana cb
Wilson
Bergman
Jack
Holt
Weiss
McKay
Paulinho
Waghorn

Bench
Miller
Alnwick
Hill
Lindsay or Devlin
New mid
New striker
Wallace

18 Apr 2017 16:51:16
If you want to play for scotland join celtic.

18 Apr 2017 18:05:26
Benny0812 no Beerman? Have you consigned him back to the under 20s?

18 Apr 2017 20:00:46
Bergman was meant to read beerman

17 Apr 2017 04:53:11
Rangers players I want out this summer

Senderos gets released
Halliday 600k
Moh 1 M
Forester 500k
Tavernier only if bid is 3M or above
Wilson 600k
McKay 2.5 M
Hill gets released

8M recouped

keeps.
Hynman if possible
Miller 1 year contract

Pedro gets atleast 10 M to spend .

17 Apr 2017 05:03:32
To much alcohol tonight love to have a few glasses of what your drinking

17 Apr 2017 05:46:35
If you divide them by ten then you will be closer

17 Apr 2017 07:57:03
Game of Football Manager happening right there!

17 Apr 2017 09:49:19
There isn't a chance those players would get us anywhere near that amount. Would be doing well to get half that. Who would honestly pay £1m for O'Halloran when he only cost £500k and has went backwards? Rangers would be delighted to get £300k for him.

17 Apr 2017 10:27:31
So you want to sell Wilson and keep Kiernan? OK!

17 Apr 2017 10:35:04
You working out O'halloran's price with the Dembele dollar calculator?

17 Apr 2017 12:13:17
Wouldn't bank on beerman being here either next season.

17 Apr 2017 12:14:33
1m for MOH? the guys not scored an spl goal and he's played the equivalent of about 4 games this season

17 Apr 2017 12:17:55
Your a mile out with your valuations there pal we will not get anywhere near that for most of them Tav maybe £1 million tops and McKay you're maybe about right there in my opinion but the rest of your valuations are laughable.

17 Apr 2017 12:19:25
If we get 1 million for o'halloran I will eat my own feet!

17 Apr 2017 12:30:50
Tavernier 5x the value of Wilson! Not a lot of the post makes any sense and I hope you've not put your name down as an applicant for Director of Football. Admit it, how much thought did you actually give to this?!

17 Apr 2017 16:04:25
We will not get a better centre half than Wilson for what we can afford so no point in selling.

17 Apr 2017 22:40:19
Rangers should raid the African players and don't go anywhere near the epl championship but quite happily sell to them . They need a spine like bougherra in defence Davis midfield and cousin upfront you get the idea the rest of the team should be pace 3-4-3 formation like juventus no boys allowed in the team . Aggressive bullying tactics and speed is the way i'd go

18 Apr 2017 00:06:27
And here I was thinking that nobody could top the post from del the other week about Rooney and scouting boys from pub games.

18 Apr 2017 22:41:20
got to say the only one interesting to me down there is kyle bartley as he is a solid big guy who done well in a rangers top still young and has improved and we would do well to get him for under 2 million don't think he would cost much more than that tbh.

i like the idea of getting 2-3 players in from the african league but we have to be carefull not to get many more than that or we will miss them for a few weeks.
i would like to see some scandanavian players come in now that jj is on our coaching staff.

maybe pedro is going to bring in a few from portugal that may help but we need quality not quantity
