Can any so called fan that leaves Ibrox 10 minutes before the final whistle give this forum the reason why, Like I said in a previous post I dont regard yous as die hard supporters, I would rather stay and watch my team being beaten than get on a subway , bus or car just to be home or in a boozer earlier. Yous will be the ones who if things go wrong will not be to bothered about giving up your season books , the take it or leave it fans , We all have a part to play and i believe if the ground was full at 90 odd minutes and we sang to the end the club would have had another 3 points and put more preassure on the shambles across the city . Rangers to the end {Ed003's Note - Rather harsh,nobody knows what reasons people have for leaving 10 mins early,work or childcare reasons perhaps, everyone doesnt work Mon-Fri,9-5. They pay their money, so their choice as far as I'm concerned }

Believable3 Unbelievable0

I agree Ed, think it's a bit naive to say that a full ground would have secured 3 points. Fact is, had the players not 'mentally' left the ground early we may well have secured 3 points.
It is frustrating but there was always going to be points dropped and we're still firmly in the driving seat.
Onwards and upwards

Agree0 Disagree2

Well said ed this guy is just a clown an fans leaving early is not the reason we didnt win this game

Agree1 Disagree0

I leave early because my bus leaves early. simple
s-bear

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree on this and it is the most stupid thing in football. Fans pay good money to watch games 26pounds and they dont stay till the game is over. Not once have I left a game early as I want to see 90 mins of football. As for the people who do leave early, where are they going? To beat the traffic? The traffic at Ibrox is not that bad so there simply are no reasons to do it. I watch the gams on Rangers TV as I live in a different contry and even the comentator upset me by saying well at least Rangers secure 3 points with about 3 mins to go. Writing teams off is stupid and we paid the price against the Buddies who deserved nothing less than the draw.

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree with the original post. By all means if you need to leave early on occasion do so. Lots of fans leave early to avoid queuing for the subway. Lots leave early to avoid traffic, the match lasts 90 mins. What does my head in is the people who arrive ;ate, want out early for a HT pie, arrive back late, and then leave at 85 mins. You miss half the game because of these people.

i have just copied this from the football rumours page, what are your thoughts ?

David Weir could be appointed as the new St. Johnstone boss, should Derek McInnes move to Bristol City. Jim Jeffries is also in the frame.

BALLYBOY

Believable2 Unbelievable1

He has no future at Rangers so why not? A bit of a risk though since he has never managed before.

Agree1 Disagree0

Weir will play his part in the team this year. Whenever one of the two center halfs get injered he will step in. He has not had any cover while he has been at Gers... Will see out his contract I am sure till the end of the season then hang up his boots.

Have to laugh at some of the posts, how many of you that posted about individual players performances and manager decisions left the stadium with 10 minutes to go, why was the stadium so quiet again , cmon we are Rangers Super Rangers supporters and have the privilege to watch the best team in Scotland and with that privilege comes responsibility to support our team through however many minutes it takes to get our team over the line. Many great football people over the years have often praised the Rangers support for being Magnificent and 12th man like , well yesterday when we still had a game to win Thousands let there club down. Is it Rangers till I die or Rangers till 80 minutes, man we are top of the league with our city rivals in a shambles and we cant help our team for 90 odd minutes.

Believable5 Unbelievable0

Its the subway loyal. drives me mental. from 85 mins onwards at least 10/15 seats in my row and the two in front of me are are empty. seems the only time they stay is if we are getting beat and they want to boo the team off the park. bang on post mate. j1985

Agree2 Disagree0

Dont like to say it but in my opinion you are not a die hard if you dont stay to the end. if you are one of the go early mob i would love to hear a good enough reason why you leave early, i dont expect any answers, well done to you mate for staying

Agree2 Disagree0

What if people have jobs to go to that start at half 5 or 6? Would you rather they didn't give the money to the club and not go, or that they paid and left a wee bit early so they could make the money they give to the club?

hello Ed and fellow bears

ok logic time

Where is Allys logic when it comes to selection and substitutions ? we chased down Bedoya to get him early, and yet dot play him. We chased down a work permit for McKay yet don't play him. We got Ortiz as a right sided winger yet play him on the left, then my final point is when Broadfoot is brought into the team he usually goes to left back yet he played central defence for St Mirren
McCoist has learned nothing as a coach and i stick to my original opinion on banter - Rangers need a door kicker like Souness to get the message home to this mob. The team is carrying chancers who think the Scottish game is easy street. It might not be the best league in the world, but you have to have "win mentality" to survive and i'm afraid Gers haven't got it. Remember most of the selected players WERE available for the European fiasco yet the are still saying the squad was too small to cope.
Bulls**t - attitude more like !Look at what some of them are being paid

Believable4 Unbelievable4

Good point on the players we have signed. The two defenders have been a major hit but outside of that the jury is still out on them all. McKay should have got a place on the bench but Ally said the Oz trip took it out of him. I am sure McKay would tell us different. My mate lives in Melbourn in Oz and has seen him play a number of times and says he has got an engin in him, which is what we need.

You are also right about attitude, it is poor and I think the reason why we start so slow. The team needs a good kick up the back side every game right now. We got bossed in the midfield against St. Mirren the other day, well done to them but for a team full of international players that is not good enough by our standards.

I read both the rangers and celtic sites and cant believe how much page space is spent saying how bad celtic are..how bad rangers are.... Allys rubbish... Lennon hasnt a clue. Consider for one magical moment that both teams or even a glasgow select team were invited to the epl or even the championship to compete, hands on hearts how many of either team would you consider to be good enough to compete? For one moment take off the green and blue tinted specs and see these dumplins for what they are.....overpaid and vastly under skilled. For too long both teams have accepted not even second best but third or forth best in some cases. We pump good money into both teams and dont really get the product we deserve. Surely both teams could get together decide jointly that youth was the way to go,get rid of all the overpaid crap and invest all the money on the youth systems.

Believable5 Unbelievable0

Bears i rekon we have the spl in the bag...we are aiming for 5 in a row...men next seasons a big one after that we can start dreming of the holy grail......10 in a row....................

Agree2 Disagree1

And then the English teams will just come and cherry pick our best talent for pennies. The whole game needs to be reformed right across the board. A salary cap needs to be put in place, agents need to be abolished as they are greedy barstewards and a limit must be put in place regarding the amount of foreign players allowed per team.

Agree3 Disagree0

Your proposal needs to apply globaly mate, or it is still the ones with money who take the prizes

Agree1 Disagree0

If agents are given the bullet how are players going to move you muppet? Can you imagine Ian Durrant trying to negotiate terms with a player? Get real.

What's the new song being sung by the Blue Order to tune of Sloop John B??

Believable2 Unbelievable0

Bears bears bears..calm down..this is the way i see it..if we had have strolled 12 clear yesterday theres every chance lennon would have been sacfificed..we dont want that..i dont wana win the league by 20 odd points..i point will do..it gives them believe that lennons there man...this is the best chance we will ever have of doing 10 in a row.but it will only happen while the have lennon at the helm..god bless wee lennon...

Agree1 Disagree0

As ive stated before ed..lennon is our gateway to 10 in a row...im fully behind celtic keeping the wee chap...rangers need this man at parkhead for years to come

4 young men had a dream, to start a football team
They had no money, no kits or even a ball.
They still carried on, the Rangers were born.
54 titles and still going strong.

Brilliant wee tune. Love it.

broadfoot should never wear a rangers strip again.he thinks he's a football player

Believable5 Unbelievable7

Does he actually think?

Agree0 Disagree0

Grow up ........... We were shocking as a team and if we had played more in the right areas and shown a professional aproach, we would and should have won comfortably. I was raging yesterday, I'm still not happy, but a look at the fixtures and the fact that the deranged ones fail failed again yesterday, just gave me a wee lift. That shower are struggling miserably and had a six minute spell when they got lucky. On another day, Killie would have taken five, or six off of them. Take a look at the Europa, spl fixtures, they will NEVER come through that without taking a mauling along the way and dropping points. The problem we have, is lifting our performance level for the jambo's and then the sheep after that. Always a believer, Rangers ' til I die, onward and upwards Bears............ :)

Agree4 Disagree1

Broadfoot, edu , wylde , whitaker, and now mcgregor and davies for some reason will all leave there mark on our season broadfoot certain to f@ck up edu cetain to go missing wylde certain to never get his cross past first man whitaker every so often major blunder that will cost a game, put us out of europe now mcgregor comes into the whitaker mould every so ofter he will cost us and now every so often davies is going missing now the players CANT be trusted to close a game down, ally the midfeild need strengthend,we aint good enough to score 3,4 so you,ll need to close the game better

Agree1 Disagree3

McGregor going to cost us?? don't talk nonsense mate! McGregor wins us points with some of his saves!!
Dmrangers

Agree3 Disagree0

Im totally gutted..we shoukd have had the spl wrapped up yesterday.....comforting thing is the plague are playing s**te...

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree on all players apart from McGregor, he has made two blunders in the last couple of years, but the other saves he should not get more than make up for it. He is the best we can get in the nets right now and we cant afford any of the Spanish keepers so play with the cards we have.

Edu, Boradfoot and Whitaker need to take a good look at themselves as does Davis on his game yesterday. Wylde need some heavy training on how to cross a ball, which he should spend all training sessions doing. I dont think the training staff are that advanced to be doing this with him. Come here son, run down that line and kick the ball into the box 100 times... Get it right and you are done for the day, mess it up then keep working on getting it right. Basics
