I'm glad we've spent £5m max on the team. It'll make things even funnier when the league comes back home to Ibrox. The internet will be a quieter place when their pages dry up and none of them will show up here. Must are keyboard warriors I'd think and probably don't have friends to talk to. We mustn't mock that, tempting as it is, but watching us return to the top will be perfect. I'm willing to keep reading their nonsense for another few months but the league title will destroy them all. I'd love to meet the wharriors on a night out and just stand laughing at them.

I can guarantee u mate if u win the league I will still be on here, I not running scared I can assure u.
I have seen off the likes of union jack and a few others who disappear when things not been good for u, and I predict I will see u off too.
I will happily take u winning the league once every 8 years.
The worrying thing for u guys is if u do win the league imagine the reaction from our side, just like after the semi final a few years ago. The celtic board would have to pull out all the stops to rectify it similar to what you are trying to do the now.
Only difference is we would prob spend 30m where u have spent 5m.

Lads fear not, they may well be able to spend big on transfers but not on wages, therefore they will only be able to replace players with similar standard to the ones that leave/ left. They will need to hope the new back four settles quickly!

You hear all these deluded tims on about them being cash rich well where exactly is it all? they need to balance there books with any cash that comes in for tierney there wage bill is 60 million a season no champions league money last season they depend on that.

We don't depend on champions league money we don't depend on anybody now the devt we had was to directors and now there is no debt any money were spemding is season ticket money or shirt sales.

the most important thing is that there is a plateau in scottish football where you just can't get better players because the most important thing is that the players that are better don't want to play in scotland, it really is that simple, so while Celtic have more money to spend you just can't attract the players you would hope the money can buy, unless its a player at the end of his career or one that's looking to make the step up to the EPL. sad but true, we are a mickey mouse league, not saying its bad football but its not playing good football once in a while that attracts star players.

spending more money does not mean you buy better players? its about identifying the right player at the right price who fits into your team.

I am kind of surprised that we are not looking at more strikers.
We have plenty options in defence and the midfield department, but we have to take in to consideration Defoe's age and Potentially Morelos being sold.

As1974 you are spot on. We have bought well, and wisely for defence, midfield and wingers. The final piece in the jigsaw is another out and out striker, or maybe two, to keep everyone on there toes, and fighting for their place. ONWARDS AND UPWARDS TO 55.

I agree! Also Lafferty looking to be sold also. Leaves us very short of options up top. I hope we bring someone in before the start of the season even if we do manage to keep Morelos! Still love to see Kemar Roofe coming but that was a non starter 😑.

Bairdy90 how many strikers have we been linked to? Roofe from Leeds but I can't imagine him being or tried to be bought unless we sell El Buffalo. I would say say another 2 strikers. Not sure who though. Don't think anyone in Scotland would cut it. Maybe the championship down south. I can't see Dodoo or Hardie getting a run to be honest. Maybe they should get a chance?

I think its telling McPake and Mayo were not even on the bench in the development squad against Cambridge. Middleton and even Murphy were. Perhaps these 2 laddies are now considered part of the first team squad? Certainly hope so. Dallas and Barjonas scored for us, sadly I don't think either will be first team material hope I'm wrong. So maybe 1 established striker and then home grown youngsters.
