16 Jan 2019 19:08:28
Just had a thought guys it's 2 hours till end of transfer window window and O'Neil call back Worral back just to bugger us from getting a replacement have we got the rite to tell him naw.

16 Jan 2019 21:25:40
transfer window closes end of month.

16 Jan 2019 22:05:24
I wouldn't put it past Oneil, and It's a good question to worry about. Let's see if any new CB's arrive in the window.

16 Jan 2019 22:30:52
Beatsgowl, I believe Dsgersfan was giving a scenario rather than actually saying there's only 2 hours of the wibdow left lol.

16 Jan 2019 23:05:13
Yea let’s see if he will do that . good senate gersfan . and I really wouldn’t put it past him and then of course not play joe 9 games out of ten.

16 Jan 2019 23:22:07
I would like to think he would be profession enough not to do it just to get one over us but you never know.

16 Jan 2019 23:45:40
I’m sure Rangers would be due a fee if Forrest recall Worrell early so can’t see it happening that late in the window. However if Forrest did recall him I’m sure we would have a contingency plan in place to sign someone.

17 Jan 2019 07:16:11
Honestly don't get the massive drama around forest recalling Worral. Pre tims game he was absolutely honking and everybody wanted him away anyway. Imo Katic a better player.

17 Jan 2019 07:35:35
Who cares re Worral. Contract will say what can or cannot happen.

17 Jan 2019 12:26:18
Apparently NF can only take Worral back early with our approval and it would also cost them a fee to take him back early as he has played the required number of games this Mandy explains why Gerrard stuck with him but in any case if he did go back it would allow Katiç to get a foothold back in the first 11 but in saying that I would still like to get Jake Cooper but looks like his value is rising above our budget unfortunately.

16 Jan 2019 15:36:08
I'm sure we'll all agree on this one fellow bears. I would love our manager steven gerrard to play in a cameo appearance for us,
in the famous royal blue rangers jersey! Even at 38 years old, i still think, without a shadow of a doubt, he'd be the best midfielder in scotland, by a country mile! I wish he would have played on for another 2 years with us,
as our player manager! That's how good i still think stevie G is! What a midfielder!

16 Jan 2019 16:29:27
😂😂😂.

16 Jan 2019 16:33:00
He's said before his legs have gone.

16 Jan 2019 16:42:28
Super, I'm sure that's about the 40th time you have said thst on here, every player we sign will be the best player in the league or the best in there position according to you. Always by a country mile as well 😂😂😂.

16 Jan 2019 16:53:34
Watch his documentary. The guy had an epidural just to get through a match his last season along with regular painkillers and injections. He had a tough career at the top and put his body through hell because he cared so much about helping his team. We have that mentality as our manager now. Try and just be happy with that!

16 Jan 2019 17:36:23
I've an epidural just to get through a Monday.

16 Jan 2019 17:43:28
He is not registered as a player with any association.

16 Jan 2019 18:13:35
You guys are so easy to wind up, so yous are! Quite funny really!

16 Jan 2019 18:37:23
SG is the manager not a player. Give Kelly a run out.

16 Jan 2019 19:03:33
Aha! Thank goodness you've cleared that up Coops. There was me, and many others on here, thinking your posts were just Jimmy White. But we were all wrong. You were actually outfoxing us with your superior wit, intellect and cunning mind. Well played Moriarty. We are indeed no match for your untamed wit.
Aye right! The words backtracking and saving face spring to mind here, Coops.
I would say good try, but I'd be lying.

16 Jan 2019 19:19:35
A think Coops been reading Mutton in the Record and like the controversy😭😜🇬🇧.

16 Jan 2019 19:37:11
Actually agree with supercoop to an extent. Surely he could play some part in the up and coming friendly against Helsinki.

16 Jan 2019 20:42:52
Arthur d u are as bad as coops.

16 Jan 2019 22:34:56
Think a 10 minute cameo against Helsinki would do it, also sell a load of tickets!

16 Jan 2019 23:11:50
I agree, surely it wouldn't be asking too much for the boss to knock the ball about for 10 minutes or so. It is a froendly and it would add to the gate i'm sure.

16 Jan 2019 23:13:56
Listen he will be playing for the rangers legends soon so let’s keave it at that . The guy has to focus like never in his life before. He knows niw how much we are all relying on him and what it means to us . He gets it totally . Because of the way that mob treated us at parkhead goading our hurting fans into a riot. He saw that and in turn showed them a total lack of respect by turning his back on them when leaving pitche at ibrox . Thought that spoke volumes about how he understands the intensity now. I truely beleive that if we hadn’t come off a horrendous trip from Russia we would have got a draw at the piggery.

17 Jan 2019 12:24:27
Jboy21,

What’s wrong with him playing a small part in the Helsinki game? And how does that make me as bad as super cooper? I think even 10-15 mins of Gerrard against Helsinki would sell a few more tickets.

17 Jan 2019 20:17:49
He is the manager arthur, let's not turn us into a circus.

18 Jan 2019 08:15:51
Agree jboy. Brought in to manage let him manage it's impossible to do both.

16 Jan 2019 14:19:28
heard it from an unreliable source that every player who is a free agent or who's contract is up in the summer will be linked with us and signing a pre contract. my source? every fecking newspaper! jeeze its beyond a joke really.

16 Jan 2019 14:28:53
We did superb with our free transfers last summer and hopefully we will continue to use this market to improve the squad each summer.

16 Jan 2019 15:22:09
Quite agree wee bear i'm just pointing out how ridiculous the press repoting on us is!

16 Jan 2019 18:40:18
we don't need sources mate, got two poaters on here best mates with the queens park captain for all the gossip? funniest chat i have seen on here for a while 😂.

16 Jan 2019 11:13:36
There's been plenty discussion about the need for a natural no.10. The easy and obvious solution is to get back Lewis McLeod. Problem solved.

16 Jan 2019 12:48:18
As much as i liked mccleod. Thought he was a great wee player. But he played at a very low level of football for us so impossible to say that.

16 Jan 2019 14:38:32
Just read that there is a possibility of Adam Lallana coming to Rangers on loan, strange one I know, but that’s what I read.

16 Jan 2019 17:34:11
KFraser, if McLeod is the height of your ambitions for our club maybe we're too big for you.

16 Jan 2019 22:25:45
I heard the same myself about 2 weeks ago about Lallana coming on loan but thought it was a fake rumour? Is the source reliable?

16 Jan 2019 22:33:27
Paul86 incase you don't know pal he plays in english championship and he's scored a few too, not too shabby level to be fair.

17 Jan 2019 06:10:17
Yes i have seen him play. But to say its and easy and natural choice is a bit daft. Would say we currently have better midfielders at the club now. And also Waghorn plays in that same league and he was shocking for us in his last season so i would not use the English championship to set standards.

16 Jan 2019 11:10:09
Fire at the training ground this morning, things are really heating up.

16 Jan 2019 12:08:59
really heating up? just hope no one was hurt.

16 Jan 2019 16:10:20
Somebody set alight to Pena's stash of Tequila LOL. damage is not bad but do not know cause no statement from club yet.

16 Jan 2019 19:46:34
I read earlier it was the residual heat from the players boots on the 29th.

16 Jan 2019 11:05:50
Reading Adam Lalanna a possibility! Oft I doubt it but if we did. if we did, what a loan signing that would be!

16 Jan 2019 20:46:33
Was talking to a fireman tonight who says he overheard SG on the phones training today Says he spoke to llalana, then skirtle, followed by company all deals agreed and to be announced Sunday.

15 Jan 2019 22:45:33
Just like to take this opportunity to wish kevin thomson, all the very best, in his about to be appointment, of the new rangers under 18 coach! Terrific step up for thommo, from his shared coaching position, with gregory vignal,
from coaching the rangers under 13's,14's and 15's, to the under 18 coaching position! Thommo is very highly rated within ibrox and the hummel training centre. His work in his very own "KEVIN THOMSON ACADEMY" hasn't gone unnoticed and has been spoke about very highly! Our DOF mark allen, said when he was appointed our DOF, that he would look to appoint future rangers manager's/ head coaches, from within, if he felt they were good enough! You just never know in years to come, what position within our club, kevin thomson could be appointed to! We all know mark allen and craig mulholland rate kevin thomson very highly!
I loved thommo when he was at ibrox as a player. He was a terrific midfielder and barring multiple injuries, he was a future glasgow rangers captain IMO! You just never know in football, especially with allen, willing to promote from within, that a good few years down the line, kevin thomson could be appointed to the very privileged position, as the manager/ head coach of glasgow rangers!
Would love to read other bears views on this,
with thought and sensibility of course,
without decrying other supporters views and thoughts, on this!

16 Jan 2019 08:51:04
If he is good enough then aye. Wouldn't have a problem with it at all.

16 Jan 2019 13:45:01
Agree with some of your post but regarding our future 1st team manager, let’s see how he gets on, give the guy a chance and calm down . We all know what happens every time you get ahead of yourself.

16 Jan 2019 14:08:51
Good luck KT for sure. Hope he's a great coach. But can we just get one thing straight here. He was an utterly appalling footballer for us. Seems to be the trend that anyone who speaks with passion about the club once they have left gets elevated to legendary status.

Thomson was a trier, but just because someone has no attacking/ flair to their game and works hard, it doesn't make them a world class holding midfielder. He was utterly dreadful.

16 Jan 2019 14:25:34
Oh dear! When are you going to learn? Talk about creaming your Y's too early. Take a deep breath and control yourself before posting. Enthusiasm is one thing. Depositing your load far too early is another.
I make no apology if that is not the response you crave.

16 Jan 2019 15:04:24
Glasgowrangersgooner, everyone entitled to their opinion and all that, but your words are very harsh on our former midfielder, kevin thomson! He was a very good midfielder as far as i'm concerned and like a helluva lot of bears,
including myself, i thought he was a future rangers captain, in the making! Barring his horrendous luck with injuries of course. I think your miles away with your opinion of his ability as a midfielder. To call thommo an appalling footballer is shocking and well wide of the mark!

16 Jan 2019 15:35:55
Thomson wasn’t appalling for us I thought he did quite well only thing I would have said against him was his frequent stupid challenges which resulted in some unnecessary yellow and red cards.

16 Jan 2019 16:48:50
I agree he was a really decent player for us coops, believe if it wasn't for injuries he would have been a top player for us. You do need to take a chill pill sometimes tho the guys only coaching the 18s and you have his path mapped out to be our manager.

16 Jan 2019 17:14:05
Thought Kevin Thompson was a cracking player for us a winner! He wasn't so appalling when he broke through the smeltic defense via a couple of one two's then slotting the ball in the goal.

16 Jan 2019 17:42:35
Calm down! you really are a bumptious! over excitable! utterly unbearable! person! on here, SC11!

16 Jan 2019 18:16:58
Glad you enjoy my posts asayouth!
Means a lot matey!

16 Jan 2019 22:09:37
I remember at the time Hibs had a good young team with their central midfield being Brown and Thompson. Both us and Celtic were bidding for Brown but I think we ended up with Thompson after he chose Celtic. Injuries definitely curtailed his time with us and his career in general.
