Absolute Mince today to slow to get the ball forward, some of the passing is shocking, we are easy to play against too predictable, celtic humped them 3 times. Manager is to blame he picks the team he decides how we play, so he gets the blame. Time to kick there arses stevie or you will be getting it off the fans. you know I'm right it does not take long for the rangers fans to turn on there own.

So just looking at the goalies and what they had to do today. Bell had to catch a Connor Goldson header that was right at him and get down on a Candeias pass across the face of goal.
ods had a massive block on a first half shot, a diving save on a header and a pickup off the underside of the crossbar. You tell me who was the more dangerous attacking side? Refereeing was horrible but our payroll should overcome that. How does everyone like Defoe up front by himself?
The biggest mistake for this season will be not picking up a decent striker in the January window. If defoe has to go there Lafferty has to go with him. Kamara looked bright though. Candeias missing his two chances isn't acceptable at this level. Rangers should sign me to miss chances like that. I can do that for half the price.

Am still not sold on Defoe. I said I didn’t think he was the answer when he arrived. For me he done nothing today. Whether that is to do with tactics/ formation I don’t know but for me he is a sub never a starter in this formation.

The team isn't set up to help defoe. He needs runners around him and we don't have that. We're horribly unbalanced. There's no point in playing wingers who hug the touchline when our full backs get so far forward, we don't need 4 players whipping crosses in to a 5"8 striker. Time to change to a 442 diamond or a 352 for me.

It's very sad to admit that if Morelos is not playing then we are going to struggle to score. Defoe is a penalty box striker who needs to have balls fed to him.
Now I look at tomorrow's game with Killie and Celtic and pray for a draw. Celtic win and that's it all over for me. A Killie win then they are back on our heels.

Aye but in the same respect if it wasn't for all our bad results we would probably be top of the league.
At the end of the day we are the only team capable of stopping them, no other team was able to do it when we were out the league so it's up to Rangers to stop them no one else can and we probably won't do that this season.

Don't see much point in changing now as after that shambles today, the league is gone. On a side note, my Tim supporting mates have said since the 29th Dec, that they would still win the league by a double figures points margin - I completely disagreed with them then, but now it looks like they might be right given they can go 8 clear tomorow (don't see Clark telling Killie to put the same effort in as they do against us) and still 2 O.F. games to play.
For a club like ours, for 0 goals in 2 games when 1 player is missing is disgraceful. And Davis - don't start me, thank christ it's only 6 month loan cause I'd send him back now.

Defoe waste of shirt if wee don't create for him he's just a passenger and overpaid, Davis gone back a mile not at level required. We knew we needed a number 10 in the window but signed a goalie, striker, holding midfielder and Davis whatever he is regarded as these days.

If Jack and Arfield were not injured, then why were they dropped? I see our manager has thrown the players under the bus by coming out and tearing a strip off them. No leadership? Considering he chose the captain, bought the players, and chose the team, then the buck stops with him.
How many times is he going to get it wrong? He obviously hasn't learned from previous mistakes.
Yes, we can forget the league. However, the manager has to take responsibility for this.

today's performance was exactly like kilmarnock we just can't score without morelos in the team.
Very poor not any other players willing to take the responsibility and win us a game i would hate to think where we would be without him in the league.
Going forward i think we need get rid of all the players that are not good enough and all the loan players these signings have just not worked out well for us.
I think we need sign young hungry players with a point to prove and not loans need to be permanent signings and start getting more of our youth players involved in the first team.
Our midfield and strikers have a very poor return when you look at the goals and assists they contribute apart from morelos.

I'm totally with you frustrated blue, as i also thought glen kamara played well enough and was easily our best player today. At least kamara was always looking to play the forward pass and never gave the ball away. Two games without morelos now and 0 goals, says everything! We badly miss morelos and the different dimension, he brings to this rangers team! Like i said, kamara apart, this was a very poor performance from rangers today! Absolutely sick coming out of ibrox today, after that performance.

As bad as it was today (and it was pretty bad) that wasn't our best / first team. Davis and Defoe aren't bad players but they're just not the players we all remember. Missing from the team, McGregor, katic, jack, arfield, Morelos. Saying that, we should be beating teams like st Johnstone, especially at home.

I agree with all the others on todays game, no penetration. Kamara looks a player, Alfie's indiscipline has cost us dearly, but, one player should not be a major loss to a Club like us. Just keep playing away and hope for the best.

nobody wants gerrard to succeed more than me but that formation today baffles me a totally flat midfield formation all holding midfielders apart from an unfit steve davis who by the way i think will still come good but not the answer today and going from what i have seen defoe just can't play the lone striker up front he has to play in a 2 we are at home and yes our 2 strikers were a doubt but if strong enough to be deemed fit should both start at home to a let's face it poor st johnstone side and go for the kill especially at home, rant over.

How many more players do we have to get on loan or sign to actually look like a Rangers team? Having said that the ref was awful, where do they get them from?

Why can, t we play 2 forwards at home cause alone Defoe is a waste of space. Camara was super but rest of the Team were simply not good enough. I am afraid to say Steven Davis is passedhis best and I’m glad it’s a 6 month loan however bringing him and Defoe in on loans was a gamble and has not paid off. Lafferty is another waste of a shirt. We would be better playing the kids up top than them. Without morales we are mediocre.

No I agree title is over, also clearly our 2 backup strikers aren't good enough either as when they are called upon they are not good enough. It could be argued that Gerrard chose the wrong one today but again a poor display at home against a poor side. There will be people coming on saying oh your not a real supporter or why so negative, well there was nothing positive about that today. It's highly unlikely but even if killie win tomorrow it will be a massive task to challenge for the league, as I think to win it we would need to beat them home and away and that is just not going to happen. We now just have to make sure we finish best of the rest which is very frustrating when you look at some of the points we have dropped.

I read the article sky had on him yesterday and it seems that nobody could get his head screwed on properly. It's the same story at every club he's been, impresses in his first few games then barely plays after that. Terrible attitude and zero appreciation for the frequent chances he's been given.
