it is looking certain that kris Boyd is leaving turkey as his manager has told him he has no future in turkey which means he will propabley be a free in januray well a think we should get him signed up as at the end of the day he will come back and guaranteed he will score goals without a doubt never mind for a minute if he isn't a very good player because lets be realistic here goals win games and he has goals he is a great poacher as we all know so without a doubt we should get him

campbell

Believable10 Unbelievable5

How much of a wage cut would he have to take?

Agree5 Disagree0

No wage cut whatsoever if he's a free agent. However, if you mean from his current wage i'd say about 50%? But would he rather have £0 per week, or £15k per week? Muzz

Agree2 Disagree0

I'd take him back in a heartbeat, the guy is goal machine... Granted he's been found out elsewhere but his heart belongs at ibrox. He took a chance and chased the money, big deal, who wouldn't in this current financial climate, can't blame the guy, boydy ur always welcome at Rangers!
Kingbear

Agree9 Disagree2

No way rangers would give Boyd 15k per week!! 5 if he's lucky!

Agree2 Disagree2

Obviously he'll have to take a cut from what he's been used to earning in Turkey. If a Championship club makes an offer, it'll be more than Rangers will be able to offer.

Last week v Hibs was probably the worst rangers performance I have seen for a long time. Bartlet is a central defender so don't try dress him up as something else ally, Davis must play in the middle, Edu and McCulloch can't play in same team, Wilde is not good enough and why did we need Wallace? Where are the likes of McKay, Ortiz and Bedoya and why are they not pushing for a starting spot?

Believable6 Unbelievable0

Hopefully ortiz is back in Spain

Agree6 Disagree1

Totally agree mate- it was horrendous. Hibs were actually robbed. I saw Rangers had two shots on target and two off target while hibs had four of each. Useless. Anyone that carps on about "winning ugly" and "supporting the team" as usual when anyone says they don't like the mince they're watching is just burying the head.

Agree0 Disagree0

You are obviously not a rangers fan, "I saw they had 2 shots" just read the stats after the game? Belter

Agree0 Disagree0

Didnt celtic "win ugly" against hearts hours later??

Agree0 Disagree0

Rangers only ever "win ugly", coz they're no so hot. I saw the game and know they were $hite, I'm no like your good self captain belter knowing the stats as to just how gash they are (only two shots on target and only four attempts at goal) as I watch it. You're my hero. :-P

Agree0 Disagree0

4-2? Ring any bells?

coisty keen to add much needed flair to the team by luring natham redmond from birmingham city!

Believable0 Unbelievable7

The kid who's played 6 matches for Birmingham, had a good game last night and is suddenly brilliant.

Think you might be suffering from a touch of what is commonly known as MOTD fever.

2 Timalloy I see you are on spelling patrol tonight how about this then, your own manager has said he was surprised that the clowns who were at your game last night managed 2 spell their banner correctly any thoughts on this einstein
NTYABOW

Believable6 Unbelievable0

Nytabow, small case for your small mind.
If you had bothered to read any of my posts or other Celtic posts we all condemned these stupid guys with their banner. Good thing is these guys will be rooted out of Celtic Park to leave it for all the decent fans. sadly if they rooted out all Rangers fans that caused bother Ibrox would be EMPTY hail hail Timalloy

Agree1 Disagree4

Fail fail timalloy 4 in a row

Agree4 Disagree0

Timalloy Celtic will not ban them they never do, the guys with the anti poppy banner were never banned.

Agree5 Disagree0

Agree with the first part of post Timalloy watched the game last night and had to agree, though it hurts to admit it your team did play well and probably deserved a better performance from the ref ,but your fans let you down as they have done us,so please dont tar us all with the same brush as i dont to you,

Agree1 Disagree0

Only one man was responsible for this banner? Ross Connelly take a bow son, that has to be one of the biggest banners I've ever seen. I mean where did he keep it? Up his jumper? What a cracker!

Agree2 Disagree0

Keep believing it timalloy, your deluded mhob are now suddenly getting a reality check as to the quality of your fans.

Agree3 Disagree0

We both have our fair share of idiots, but am I the only one who thinks the banner although stupid was not going to hurt anyone,a bigger concern for me was the flares that were lit. Sometimes the media here try to whip up a story and thats what they are doing here,Celtic have said they are stupid fans, they will root them out, so for me thats end of. On the same tack did anyone see the stoke game players getting pelted with lighters and coins but not 1 colum inch in the papers, mainly because Stoke have not made an issue, this type of fan behaviour is what they should be tackling

They are a certain poster that is never off this page posting about Tax, Craig Whyte, debt, bills and tax again. Can anyone guess who I'm talking about? Can anyone recall that certain poster saying he doesn't give any abuse to anyone and we give it to them all the time? Well he must have let his guard down because he was giving it to us big time the other night. It's was a case of we are bad but youse are worse, we are the shame ipox lmao. Ed007 said tonight he hates all the point scoring BS and so do I. It is so boring all his posts now. He is totally fascinated with us. Let's all get back to talking about football and have banter about football.
FF81

Believable9 Unbelievable0

Aye he's pitiful FF81. Just ignore his posts nowadays. Everyone knows he's a laughing stock.

Gerry The Ger.

Agree7 Disagree0

FF81,spot on pal.i understand this is a banter page and thats all well but its actually interesting to see just how fascinated they are with us.when all is said and done, tax case settled, what is he/they going to go on about? all the 'scotlands shame' patter, well, last night went a long way to earning that title.may i add that thats no refelction on the result, which i for one reckon theres no shame at all in taking a draw away from udinese.best to probaly just ignore said dafties and enjoy our ride towards 4 in a row.
drumlad

Agree4 Disagree0

Aw bears and FF81 am I upsetting you all talking about Tax? Well here is the answer get your owner to PAY ALL THE BILLS HE OWES! hail hail Timalloy

Agree1 Disagree4

Timalloy me, Gerry or drumlad weren't referring to yourself lmao. Tim puts his foot in it lol. I thought you never gave anyone abuse? To the reply to NTYABOW you gave about Ibrox being empty lmao. You just haven't got a clue. Go on turn it on us again lol. Point scoring BS boooooo. Just admit it Tim your club has a bigger problem than you, NL and PL what to admit. Timalloy has the blinkers on again. Man up and grow a pair for goodness sake. What is it you normally say we have a wee tiny problem but youse are worse lmao. Both sides have a problem. So they are no point in point scoring are they? It's not going to get rid of the problem. Tim can you give me back my hook? You took the bate Big Time lmao.

The Celtic fans seem th have this fairytale idea that strachan left them. They couldn't wait to get him out the door because he wasn't " Celtic minded ".

As I said to Celtic fans I knew, be catefull what you wish for.

Oranjeboom

Believable2 Unbelievable0

Who cares,its a rangers forum..........

Agree6 Disagree0

Aye on paper he done the damage last 16 twice, won us the league 3 out of 4 times. Strachen even said when he joined cfc he said 4 years at any club is long enough.

He was good but to much off the park ie mcgeady & balde. Plastered baldes house last year & he said strachen just didn't like him hence why he never got a game.

last season we were walking the leauge but then the fact there was games called of over winter period and we had a ficture pile up allowed the tims to take a false lead in the spl for to long we then finaly caught up and took our rightfull place back at the top And we not celtic nearly threw the title away that we were strolling away with by slipping up at home to the arabas letting the tims go back top and putting it in there hands but lets be honest inverness where alawys gona be tricky and proved so! So get over yersels manky mob yous never threw it away we just gave you a chance of winning it *ksd*

Believable4 Unbelievable1

Lets face it, and be serious here, Jelavic will not be sold in January.

Sunderland who have been continually linked with him don't even have the cash to bring Asamoah Gyan back to the club who is away on loan, they are not going to afford the £9 million which is what it would take for Rangers to let Jelavic go, as they only have about 20 days to find someone to replace him. The only striker we would have would be Lafferty, and we know Ally isn't one of his biggest fans and on top of that no Naismith.
Be serious it would take a double figure offer for McCoist to be that narrow minded and he won't be forced to sell.

I do think we need one or two players in January, and Scott Allan for £600,000 would be good and Graham Dorrans on loan, which would make our midfield almost unbeatable.

Believable2 Unbelievable1

I think we still need an engine to replace Naisy, like a jonny russell or something similar.
McCoist doesn't seem to think we need a spark, or a flair player. But we do need to replace the gap left by Naismith, the performances since his injury have been pretty woeful

rikkisixx

Agree4 Disagree0

It's not that Sunderland don't have the cash but that the terms of Gyan's loan don't allow him to be recalled apparently. I think Sunderland would be able to afford Jelavic if they wanted him.

i am a big rangers fan,but it was refreshing watching celtic having a go last night.i hope you were watching ally.wee went out to ordinary teams.and played 5 at the back and 1 up awaay from home, del.

Believable4 Unbelievable4

Who did we play five at the back against? Celtic did play well last night but I can't remember who we played five at the back against.

GovanFR

Agree2 Disagree4

Last season we played 5-4-1 in europe

It almost worked in the games against Man U home and away, Valencia at home

You have to respect desicion by managers when they are faced by superior opposition, as its their neck on the line.

Udinese knew a draw would see them through, but credit to Celtic for having a go, and TBH I would have much rathered watching the gers play in europe than Celtic so i can't really slag them off for getting knocked out

Rikkisixx

Agree1 Disagree0

Come on Celtic were hardly playing man utd last night. Lol and they had to win the game, at least be realistic. Yes they gave it a go but come on only a win would have put them through.

Agree2 Disagree0

To the last poster: have you seen where Udinese are in the Italian league, the league that has more representatives than any in the latter stages of the Champions League?

Given Utd's latest European match, Celtic might have had a chance playing like they did last night.

Agree1 Disagree2

They might have, maybe if they had a go in the other games against udinese and Madrid then they would have had a chance. One good game against udinese and all of a sudden they are world beaters? Fact Celtic have a woefull defence, that is why they are in second place! P.s it's a bad day when big spammy is the best you've got'

Agree1 Disagree0

And mind you only got there by default. Some European record you guys have! Fud

Agree0 Disagree0

To the last poster: you should be happy that Celtic have gone some way to prevent Scotland's coefficient being even worse by narrowly missing out on qualification - they only lost two matches out of their six in a tough group.

See Mr Whyte only has 1 more months wages to fork out before transfer window opens, then fun begins as he has to now find the funds to repay the money he borrowed from Close Brothers, pay the PAYE and NI that he has so far not paid to HMRC, then there is the the "Wee Tax" case money £4m,
Then there is the £10m "black hole" that he has already admitted needs to be found, THEN on top of all that is the "BIG TAX CASE" ruling in Jan/Feb, oops seems whyte really will need to prove he is a Billionaire when all this debt has to be paid, or will he sell half your team ha ha. Watch this space........
Timalloy

Believable1 Unbelievable4

Did the east end mob have a game last night ? must have got put out as the bold timmy is back to talk about our finances ........... football not important to this chap

Agree3 Disagree0

No name all your debts are now coming home to roost because of Rangers and no one else. We at Celtic pay our debts. LOL Timalloy

Agree0 Disagree3

It seems the content of the post is not important as long as you attach a tag ---
timmyboy try telling us bears why when we have had all these financial constraints your team have remained in second place - mind the gap.

BN

Agree2 Disagree0

I'll explain bn

Old manager leaves after failing to make it 4 in a row for Celtic, we sign Mowbray messes it up, golden hand shake Lennon gets a few month out the job & buys a new team. Last season got unlucky could have won the lot but everyone wrote off calls that cost us the league. This year every defender has been on the injury list bar one I think, now were out of Europe with a cheque of a couple of million to play with & closed the gap from 12 to 4 in over a week ?

So to break that down

1iar strachen leaves after getting us 3 iar
2iar Mowbray leaves us in a mess
3iar we blew it with a brand new team

Just now team with a year to gel, rangers with a new owner who's trying to out do mad vlad cutting the gap by 8 points in over a week & Celtic hitting there run of form with the injury list about cleared while rangers have no money, no naismith & we will see who's sharing a taxi with jelavic down south

Enjoy

Lenny

Agree0 Disagree2

Timalloy all you talk about is our debt, aint you worried that were going for 4 in a row? you seem more worried than us rangers fans about this.. Were top and will stay top regardless! celtic fans most used phrase is ' we will see next year ' always arguing about something in the future !! i would have been gutted if yous got hammered 4 or 5 nil, the fact yous deluded fans thought yous were going through was so much better
FauldsRFC

Agree1 Disagree0

Fair play Lenny your points are well made. Dimalloy however just spouts tax tax tax. Im sure Lenny would rather win the spl and Dimalloy would rather anyone win it but us. Wats you gents thinking on the banners last night? Im a bit surprised to be honest, CheltBlue

Agree2 Disagree0

See tbh in my eyes Celtic need to be rattled by ufea like what happened to rangers, no away fans etc hit us with a big ass fine. I don't get to the games as much as I would like to but always watch them & my mate sits about 30 yards away from the GB.we believe the GB think there untouchable because like the blue order they get the crowd going so if Celtic split them up who would create the sing songs ? That's how I think they see it. I was at the dumfermline game when we won 2-1 their was about a dozen Stewart's in with the GB then about 3/4 of the way threw the game the pat McCourt song started loud & clear,I even said to my mate is that not 'sectarian' he's like we'll aye but how do you stop them ? I hope we get hammered for it or they stop the usual suspects but think a big fine is on the cards as nothing was done about the poppy carry on

Just a straight eye Celtic fan giving his input.

Lenny

Agree4 Disagree0

Do most Celtic fans have wonky eyes Lenny? Fair play to you though mate you are the only Sellik fan who comes on here and makes a fair point and offers a bit of intelligent conversation and actually talks about football. Did i just praise a Smeltic fan? Its must be Christmas lol

Gerry The Ger.

Agree4 Disagree0

9 out of 10 for effort Gerry was good up until the smelltic part lol

No point in using green or blue specs all the time cause you just get a slap in the face with the facts. As above hope they get hammered for it, sometimes you need to learn the hard way

Went on Youtube 2 see footage of scott allan as I have never seen the boy play & still haven't don't think the people from the city of discovery know what youtube is yet, but anyway I have heard the boy is a RANGERS fan but I have heard that about broonie & goodwillie so took this 1 with a pinch of pepper, but there was an interview with him, he was asked who was his first footballing idol was he said Paul Gascoigne, also asked the last game he attended he said the old firm game when samarass missed the penalty with a big smile on his face so lets get another RANGERS man in the more the better, on another note I see another team from scotland were unhappy that they have given RANGERS the title of scotlands shame so they have decided 2 take it for themselves have you ever seen a more idiotic support in your life before you's soapdodgers out there have a hissy fit I must add I was on your page the other day & I really feel sorry for guys like your ed007 who can't stand that element of your support & he slaughtered a poster called paddy for his views, but maybe a few of my fellow bears can help me out here paddy & kft davybhoy were of the opinion that RANGERS have given a section of IBROX 2 the blueorder & they sing sectarian songs at IBROX, I sit in the copland road & have nothing 2 do with the blueorder but I can guarantee that there his no sectarian singing in this section, I stopped talking 2 them as I said 2 there ed they are thicker than a concrete floor any of my fellow bears back this up for me cheers

Anybody thinks rangers are going win the league this year are kidding themselves on.

Believable9 Unbelievable16

Yes, that's how we are top of the league currently. It doesn't matter how much the point gap was or is, for the last 3 seasons Rangers have been where it matters whether we win by a goal or 1 point we always prevail. WATP.

Agree6 Disagree2

You know what they say??? if first you dont succeed.......aw wait thats not right.........third time lucky???......sh#t thats no it either!!!! so is this celtics season then??? bo##ocks!!! we weren't goni win the league a few seasons back because we were skint, the following season the banks running the club n robbie keane has joined superstars such as fortune n n'guemo in jan so celtic will claw their way back into title contention (the family fortune wrong answer buzzer is echoing inside my head here)....wait lennys in charge now, first full season n the titles ours.....rangers sell our top scorer in jan n still make 3iar...go for a wee lie down pal cause i think you've rattled too much md the nite when watchin your team, have a wee dream about winning a league title then we'll speak tomorrow.

Celtic over the last 3 years.

Gordon strachen leaves after failing to make it 4 in a row.

Tony Mowbray comes in makes a boo boo then Lennon is left to pick up the mess. (2 in a row)

Celtic nearly win the treble but lost 3-2 to rangers after jelavic 18th shot on goal hits the net. Celtic wrote of ict which cost us the league in between this season Celtic buy a whole new team which after one season now gel.

This season. Celtic claw back from 12 points to 4 in just over a week while playing in Europa. Now Europa is over for Celtic they generate a couple of million that rangers don't have.

Rangers 3 league titles & still in debt with a tax case going to crush them.

Celtic spend nearly 15 million over 3 & a half years from a new team to give old mangers a golden hand shake to buying players & have less than a million of debt plus just made a lovely couple of million from Europa
