Bears, I've not looked at any other team signings at all on purpose. I wonder as a Rangers management team we play down any signings and just go 11 v 11, after all their signings are not really well known. Mindset is important, that's what's been missing over the past 2 years. we now have the players to instil the Rangers motto aye ready. Tic have used their reputation to win cups and leagues. We will win with hard work, skill and sheer mindedness.

Who typed that LOL. I think what I was trying to say is Celtics and the rest of the SPLs signings have been poor and we have nothing to fear. Our team should go head to head all over the pitch, our players are now good enough in every position, subs too. Celtic have lost their edge with us. 2 years ago the site of green and white would have some of our players going into their shell, no longer will that be the case, I would argue it may now be the other way round. We need to ratchet the fear factor up every week and be absolutely relentless for 93 minutes and completely destroy teams. I want every other team and opposition player to think after 5 minutes, were in for a doing here.

Press build up all week had us as strong second favourites then bang two minuets in and big Hately scores a screamer . Then the goalie makes save after save and we score a wonderful breakaway second, honestly great days .

Any game beating that eastend mob for me. The gazza hat-trick against the sheep, to secure 8 in a row. Brian laudrup's header at tannadice, to clinch 9 in a row. I was fortunate to have been at our history making game that night lauders header won us 9 in a row. To witness what it meant to all connected to our great club, ie grown men crying with joy (our great captain richard 'the lionheart' gough) bawling his eyes out with sheer elation! Beating them at the breezeblock boulevard in 1999, to clinch the league by winning 3-0,at their home, as neil mccann ripped them apart. The list goes on! 😂.

We've already made more than 700k in the Europa League. First round pays 240k. Second 260k and last night's third round pays280k. If we beat Warsaw we'll get 300k and more than 2 million for qualifying. Then 570k for every win and 100k for every draw. In last year of contract so will be a free when loan runs out. Paying only half of his wages for the year.
Now going on premiership prices, if Leicester had, had sold him to say Burnley or Brighton ect. How much do you think he would have cost.
I'm guessing at a minimum of between 5 and 7 million poss more based on his above stats. Look at Armstrong who cost Southampton 7 million, who's stats, experience, goals are no where near that of Kings.
No wonder SG jumped at the chance to sign him. A younger version of Steven Davis experience wise and more of a goal threat.

Gerrard says it was a no brainer when we're top heavy in midfield and still trying to offload wages. A no brainer for me is a left back with a left foot as first choice. Barasic good enough for Croatia but not for us? Why not Taylor from Kilmarnock? McGinn is now rated as Aston Villa's best player and worth millions. Time will tell but a Premiership player not selected for the first 18 of his club doesn't strike me as a steal for us.

Gotta say rfcrb1872 and Fraser, I disagree that we are top heavy in midfield. We had 5 players for 3 positions before king signed. You need 2 players for every position. And bankie he didn't play last year as he had a bad year with injuries. Ok he wasnt first name on the team sheet, but neither was arfield when we signed him from Burnley or defoe from Bournemouth or Davis from Southampton or goldson from Brighton. We aren't going to be signing first team players from premier league teams anytime soon. Personally think king is a good signing who improves the squad.

Interesting that King said today he's in the last year of his Leicester deal. Free at the end of the season so this year is effectively a trial. By all accounts the Leicester fans rate him. I wasn't overly enamoured with the Arfield signing and that has worked out perfectly. Hopefully this lad is the same. Premier league experience and came up the league's so has obviously worked hard. I'm positive about this one.

It felt like a huge step was made where this team will start to believe, believe that a trophy is possible this season, a title is possible this season, the Europa league is achievable again!

Fantastic result last night. SG is building a very good looking team. It’s a big powerful looking bunch with plenty of skill and more importantly football knowledge on how to manage a game. Fredo looks a different player from last season. Hopefully maturity is happening. If he gets a Red this season mark my words the media will be all over it like a rash yet not a peep about this way way he has conducted him self so far this season.

The team played magnificent not just tonight but over the 2 legs and proved a lot of doubters wrong,
Hopefully we can get by Warsaw and get into the group stages not wanting to say to much to jinx it.
But Gerrard on the sidelines tonight cut a figure looks the part is playing the part
I was excited when he came in some folk were not confident in him.
No matter what happens this season, the man is going places and I really think he's going to take this team with him to the top.
Does not look or act or play the part where something he thinks will be better comes along he will jump ship

Just a thought, how lucky to have dodged McInness when we did? Think it was 50/ 50 at the time and he certainly wouldn’t have been a unanimous choice however his bottle crashing set us on this course so in a way we must be grateful!
