Did anybody else fear the worst when they heard Ryan Jack was going to be out for weeks? I really think he will be badly missed. He is one of these players that takes care of the dirty work. Breaking up play and linking the defence and the front men. Don't get me wrong O love Kamara. He is a special talent and seems to stroll through a match unflustered. The only problem for me is Kamara does not have the physical presence that Jack does. I love a combative midfielder who doesn't get pushed around and can take care of himself and others around him. I don't see where the physicality will come from during Jack's spell on the sidelines. Edmondson? Or even Balougoun? Or can Scotty Arfield play this role? Davis is not that type of player. Does anybody think we are stepping up the search for a couple of midfielders to make sure we are well covered?

15 Sep 2020 21:52:52
Seeker, do you think McCrorie could have stepped up if he had remained.

15 Sep 2020 21:58:44
Thought Kamara looked better without Jack there tbh. We will miss that physicality without Jack but from the games so far, everyone else playing well so I don't see it being a major problem. Airfield looked really sharp when he came on. Still need an extra man for center mid.

15 Sep 2020 23:43:01
Aye Bankie, I feel McCrorie might have played a part in the CM role. Of course we don't see the full package in the way the boss does and we have to trust the fact that he knows best. I'm sure we will be looking at bringing in a more physical type. Where's Terry Hurlock or wee McCall when you need them?

15 Sep 2020 23:45:48
I get that huey, and not a lot of teams will play against us as physically as that mob from up the road so in that sense you are right. I always like at least one or two more physical types. They are out there.

15 Sep 2020 23:56:19
Would love a Terry hurlock but don't think you would get away with him in the modern game. You heard the rumour of him unsettling Dave Mackay by giving him a piece of paper in the tunnel pre match? It was the dinner menu at the royal infirmary 🤣.

16 Sep 2020 08:06:53
If Docherty hadn't been allowed to leave he could have stepped in for Jack.

16 Sep 2020 09:21:50
I think this area is ready made for Arfield now. he's one of my fave players and having met him, a nice guy. But as you wish, he isn't afraid to get stuck in with the added bonus he can play a bit too. Agree kamara is better in a slightly more advanced role. But yeah Arfield would be my choice to replace jack. I think Davis n kamara n Arfield will be the trio. Then Davis, jack and aribo.

16 Sep 2020 10:03:37
I remember Terry Hurlock standing staring at Paul McStay and mouthing something. The fear on McStay's face said it all. Rangers went on to win and McStay was very average that day, whatever Terry said really got to him.

16 Sep 2020 11:14:11
I thought we were better with kamara and davis seeker. I don't think we will miss jack or aribo. Can't say we have missed morelos either to be honest. I think hagi is getting better game by game as is roofe. Balogun is really the only player injured just now that would improve our starting 11👍.

16 Sep 2020 12:49:32
Snell it was Gary MacKay Dave MacKay would have taken Hurlocks head off 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇦🇺⚽️😎👍.

16 Sep 2020 16:52:06
Haha Dave McKay, I was thinking about that for ages, and starting to question my memory.

16 Sep 2020 16:52:47
I think Jack should play if he is fit. He does a lot of dirty work and links up well with the rest. And he has inproved going forward. Kamara is some player as well and I must admit I would find it hatd to leave him out the side.

15 Sep 2020 20:29:27
See Daniel Johnson scores the winner tonight for Preston came on as a sub and scored a penalty.

15 Sep 2020 19:46:55
No retrospective action against Scumdee Utd's Edwards for his horrendous tackle on Morelos! 😳
If the shoe was on the other foot.? 👀
SFA Compliance Officer is useless. 👍.

15 Sep 2020 21:21:10
Was listening to open goal which is normally good but silly footballers make me laugh Si Ferry "It was never a red card, Slaney - If you follow the rules its a red, Ferry, aye if you follow the rules its a red but it was never a red card. WTF LOL.

Clear red.

15 Sep 2020 21:33:04
It wasn’t a red card never in a million years in my eyes said at the time booking at best.

15 Sep 2020 21:43:58
Remember Jacks red against the sheep where he played ALL of the ball and may got caught with the follow through? Well all the "experts" called that as a red and edwards one was far worse. He was a nobody and now he has a wee bit of notoriety he must be loving it. He'll be back to being a nobody again soon enough.

15 Sep 2020 22:09:38
I don't think there was any intention but arguable whether it was excessive or reckless. Seen them given but I don't see it as clear either way and some of the reaction has been totally over the top.

As a club, to be winners, I think we need to stop all these distractions and not feed the media. The results are all that matter and do our talking in private.

15 Sep 2020 22:14:32
I’m with kJ not a red.

15 Sep 2020 23:38:52
Strange that Charlie nick says its a red and without even being debatable, we must remember now that according to kj and John, a straight studs showing tackle on the knee when ball is on the ground is not a red card, even though I've been trying to find a player who agrees with them, not a red? Bizarre,

15 Sep 2020 23:51:30
I felt at the time there was intent and still do. Btw I said at the time that Jack's tackle was a red all day as well. As far as I am aware only the tim referee from down south, Dermot something or other, and one or two of you guys along with the manky mhob think it shouldn't have been red.

16 Sep 2020 00:17:34
Definite red. Look at porteous one v barisic last year and the jack one v sheep, they won all the ball as well. can't follow through like that.

16 Sep 2020 08:52:13
Guys, if that tackle had been on French Eddie, it would have been a red card, all this crap about intention, it matters not a jot, you are not allowed to tackle with your foot that high, clear cut.

16 Sep 2020 10:18:59
intent does not come into it, or shouldnt.

16 Sep 2020 16:57:37
I know the rule regarding intent and not having to prove it guys. I'm just pointing out that I thought the player knew exactly what he was doing, which makes it even worse.

16 Sep 2020 18:09:11
Seeker they were no intent at all and if you think that you need glasses.

TT it wasn’t even a tackle he played the ball And unfortunately caught fredo with follow thru a lot of people on here need to take the blue tinted specs off.

15 Sep 2020 16:01:46
Hi

Even though Rangers have a few players missing, let's see if rangers can do what Celtic couldn't by beating Lincoln red imps away.

Rangers are playing good football ATM and I hope that continues in the main target the league.

According to some of Celtics own fans they are getting worried about this season.

15 Sep 2020 16:57:37
They'll be even more worried if Eduoard leaves at the last minute especially with only a West Ham reject, a Polish flop and Leigh Griffiths up front for them.

15 Sep 2020 17:56:49
Don't really care if Celtic lost to them means nothing, we lost to progres. I've not spoke to one Celtic who is worried. We need to stop talking the talk and do the business, they are the champions not us.

15 Sep 2020 21:34:24
Exactly sweep I haven’t heard any from
Any of there fans saying they are worried most think they will win it at a canter.

15 Sep 2020 23:54:14
Couldn't care less what they think tbh. And I'll stick my neck out and predict an easy win on Thursday. Just hope we can get everybody through the match unscathed. Does anybody know if the game is to be played on grass or plastic?

16 Sep 2020 00:08:10
I have been a regular in a pub with a selling bus for years, not one is anything but confident that its already won, personally I can't stop worrying that gerard should have been replaced and the money to rebuild should have been given to an experienced manager, but heyho, I know for a fact many were worried last Xmas, and the couple who work for me had virtually accepted that rangers were far and away the best team in the league but then the wheels came off, now they certainly aren't worried.

16 Sep 2020 08:53:50
its a plastic pitch Seeker, the same pitch we played St Josephs on last season ( only have the one stadium/ pitch in gibralter.

15 Sep 2020 13:47:52
Great News About Brian Laudrup getting the All Clear after Ten Years of Treatment for cancer.

15 Sep 2020 18:01:15
Couldn't agree more.

15 Sep 2020 18:52:50
Yes couldn't agree more my favourite player of all time.

15 Sep 2020 11:22:21
3 Hamilton players now tested positive 😳
Will football be stopped at some point?

15 Sep 2020 13:07:26
It's a strong possibility but I'm sure the league will be called null n void this time.

15 Sep 2020 13:12:54
thats right raym and with no conspiracy involved it will definitely cement the gift.

15 Sep 2020 13:15:20
Don't be so sure.
If Celtic win Wednesday then Saturday, they will go top before we play! 😳😷👀😉.

15 Sep 2020 14:50:30
Aye they will go top on goal difference and they will call the league lol.

15 Sep 2020 15:14:35
League wouldn't be called now as it is so early in the season. Can you totally say in an unbiased way the position then and now is similar?

Constant conspiracy talk just makes us look like moon howlers, that's the other lots forte.

15 Sep 2020 16:18:45
Well said snell.

15 Sep 2020 16:25:21
Correct Snell 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇦🇺⚽️😎👍.

15 Sep 2020 17:16:11
Snell, it was a joke mate lol.

15 Sep 2020 17:29:57
You must be desperate to weigh in here BB🤭, hurry before yately beats you to post the most outrageous conspiracy😂😂👍.

15 Sep 2020 19:31:22
Sorry c of I, my comment was posted under yours but wasn't a pop at you mate. Just hate the conspiracy word kicking about here. Unless that's what the C in your name stands for? 😜 Lol.

15 Sep 2020 19:42:29
Anyone with an opinion different to yours is berated by you and I have heard you say it’s all about opinions. I don’t keep going on about your opinion that Kent would never ever be joining our club from your inside info? Noticed a lot of your posts seem to be the funny man and rather nasty but like you say banter. Keep up your daily opinions on everything as you are the heart of this site👍.

15 Sep 2020 19:50:46
According to the dark side is stands for C U Next Tuesday Snell lol Can you tell I get under their skin a little bit lol.

15 Sep 2020 20:13:59
Fair play mate 🤣 long may it continue.

15 Sep 2020 21:36:29
Exactly yately he tries to play the banter card all the time when it’s a disgrace with some of the stuff he comes away with on here.

16 Sep 2020 00:10:02
Who? Come on kj, are you trying to get someone put off from here mate?

16 Sep 2020 00:55:55
ah sarcasm. the lowest form of wit but the highest form of intellect.

16 Sep 2020 12:00:26
Not really Mr Thumbs Up. Too busy laughing at you thinking PR7 would walk into our team 🤦‍♂️👍👀
Sorry, don’t take offence Coldo, I’m being sarcastic 🤥
Anyway, for the uneducated (👍👀 ) theirs a big difference between Corruption and Conspiracy.
But you carry on with the cheap digs if it makes you feel good about the nonsense you continually post . 👍👀.

16 Sep 2020 12:38:45
Corruption is the word 100% and he now makes up the word conspiracy.

15 Sep 2020 10:23:23
Davis, Kamara, Aribo, Jack, Hagi, Arfield, Jones, Barker, Kent. In order, how do you rate these midfield players (including Kent as a midfielder) and what would our best midfield four be if playing two up front?

15 Sep 2020 12:32:30
Kent, Davis, Jack, aribo, kamara, arfield, hagi, Barker, Jones.

Aribo, jack, Davis, Kent.
We'll very rarely play 4-4-2. (sorry 👍)

15 Sep 2020 12:55:22
Kent Davis aribo Jack arfield hagi kamara barker Jones.

15 Sep 2020 13:37:27
4-4-2 doesn't compliment our team

McLaughlin
Goldson Helander
Tav Jack Davis Barasic
Aribo/ Hagi
Roofe Kent
Morelos
Playing Roofe as an inside forward not a winger.

15 Sep 2020 08:10:06
All the talk about us having to get a number 10 as priority? I thought that was why Hagi was brought in? Maybe Hagi isn't going to be as good as StevieG thought✌️.

15 Sep 2020 08:33:23
Yately 01, I personally think Hagi is a fine young player, some of his play on Saturday was exceptional, and he had a hand in two of the goals. Kamara is another player who get abuse on this forum, he again gave us a more positive approach when he came on.

15 Sep 2020 09:36:55
I’m on the fence with hagi. I know he has it. CN use both feet and can see a pass. Had a decent game on sat but up to that in the league this year he’s been pretty disappointing. Not holding ball up and letting it get nicked away or a stray pass losing possession. I think he needs to bulk up a bit and work on his speed. I hope he kicks on from here and finds his feet so to speak. The talent is there definitely, we’ve seen glimpses. Just need to him to show it a lot more. 🔴⚪️🔵.

15 Sep 2020 09:38:34
Guys like Kamara and Hagi are really young and raw and as a result of this, they will always have patchy and poor performances. Given time to settle into the role and the league, consistency will come. I have no doubts both are hugely talented and will be massive players in the future. They will also frustrate the life out of us at times. Hagi has vision far beyond his years. Some of his forward passing behind the lines is exceptional. I can’t wait to see Hagi, Kent and co get at the Tims clumsy big defenders. That game can’t come quick enough. We have been slowly churning out some fantastic performances all over the pitch👏🏻.

15 Sep 2020 10:11:14
C of Ibrox, do you think StevieG would play Hagi at Porkheid? A don’t think he would as he would probably be a passenger? The guy has great ability there is no doubt it and wants to show everyone how two footed he is? But maybe being two footed is everything. It seems his previous two clubs have basically lost patience with him which in time may come to our advantage ✌️.

15 Sep 2020 11:00:20
I think he will play mate. I like Hagi but if I can definitely understand people’s frustration with him. One minute he is unbelievable and the next minute he is the invisible man. I think we just need to be patient with him. He is still very young.

15 Sep 2020 11:47:43
I keep hearing so much negativity regarding some of our new players. may I just say one word - Barisic. now one of our best players.

15 Sep 2020 11:55:14
Hagi looks like the type of young player that feeds off the crowd. Sounds daft I know but when you see how he played against Braga when Ibrox was jumping its night and day since the fans have been stopped attending.

15 Sep 2020 13:13:59
i mean its not as if kamara's not had up and down form.

15 Sep 2020 15:52:19
No crowds should be a massive leveller, most will play better without 50000 screaming when they make a mistake, some will not perform so well without the buzz, without crowds the better teams will come to the fore, however nobody really has an excuse, it’s raw football if you like

I now await the resident bb clowns abuse.

15 Sep 2020 16:32:59
Hagi does have great talent but not exactly setting the Heather on fire. I think he has played mostly out on the right this season if I am right which may not be his best position and obviously will switch into no.10 role at times during the game where I think he is best.
I don't think the will start against Celtic as I expect us to go back to the old 4-3-3 formation. Depending how the game goes he may come on as a sub if Stevie changes the shape or whoever is on the right needs subbed.
