I mentioned Greg docherty doing well on loan the other night, don't want to bang on about him but I was reading an interview with him and his attitude is outstanding (the article was on the daily record if anyone wants to read) you know the guy just has royal blue blood in his veins fair enough the first team may be hard to break into currently if he comes home in jan but players with that kind of application to there club is what's needed and hope gerrard see's potential in him and trust our boss to treat him correctly as he did with Andy Halliday, a player who was constantly slated by our own fans and Gerrard and Halliday attitude has kept him playing for the club he loves, we need players who understand the determination you need to be successful at the famous and I think docherty has it in spades 🇬🇧🇬🇧.

Richmar 100 % Agree mate, was dissapointed that he was allowed to go on loan but the experience playing in League 1 which is a very tough league in terms of ability and physicality will do him the world of good and he'll come back and be a very important player for us.

15 Oct 2018 21:28:36
Really hope so guys! I really like greg docherty and his attitude is spot on! Still think he has a good future ahead, playing for his beloved rangers!

16 Oct 2018 07:24:23
I must admit I was a bit surprised he was sent on loan as I think he would have done well here right now. Can't fault his attitude and really hope he makes it when he comes back.

16 Oct 2018 08:13:04
I rate him higher than Halliday. Both are doing well this season so all good either way.

15 Oct 2018 12:20:07
Barry Ferguson to be announced new manager of Lowland League side Kelty Hearts at some point today.

Thought it might have been of some interest to be people.

15 Oct 2018 15:08:56
Would be interesting to see how 5he SFA deal with his registration. Apparently he's not to keen on our ruling body.

15 Oct 2018 10:20:36
I like Kyle Lafferty as a player for Rangers and NI, but he has a flawed character, to phone up his NI manager at 12 midnight to say he wouldn’t be turning up in the morning because of injury is a bit hard to believe when Rangers said he had no injuries, personally I wouldn’t pick him again because his interest in playing for NI has gone, bring in someone maybe not as good but wants to play for his flag and be proud to do so. Griffiths should also be gone for the same reasons from the Scottish set up.

15 Oct 2018 20:03:36
I’m glad he didn’t play for N. I, it means he’ll be more fresher for the famous which is the number 1 priority.

15 Oct 2018 20:37:44
Lumie quite right bud, not intrested in ANY national side tbh my only concern is Rangers and if players pulling out of playing for their national side means they are fitter and fresher for us then so be it.

15 Oct 2018 20:54:43
So big Lafferty gets slated for saying he's injured, the thumb gets called brave strange world we live in.

16 Oct 2018 07:28:21
Seems it's ok for the reprobate to do and say whatever he likes (scarves, women, sectarian issues etc etc) . Comes with the timmitory (see what I did there? )

15 Oct 2018 09:03:51
Perhaps Billy Davies would be a good shout for Scotland manager (I'm assuming he doesn't have a club at the moment? ) . He would have the personality to produce results and wouldn't suffer fools gladly.

15 Oct 2018 09:15:53
Perhaps you could enlighten us as to what you know that every potential employer in football for the last few years has missed?

15 Oct 2018 12:10:44
For once I agree DK, in my opinion Stevie Clarke would do a difficult job better than most. The job he has done with Killie is nothing short of amazing.

15 Oct 2018 12:26:21
He may not be everyone's cup of tea but Davies took Derby County into the English Premier League and took Nottingham Forest to the Championship play-offs. He also took Motherwell to the brink of European football. He couldn't do any worse than others!

15 Oct 2018 12:50:29
Billy davies is an absolute person. There is a reason why he hasn't had a job in years. Hopeless.

15 Oct 2018 13:03:04
Supercooper touted him as a strong candidate for us last year so he must be good lol
Strangely he never mentioned him in one of his polls.

15 Oct 2018 14:05:49
I never mentioned wee billy davies because i don't think there's ANY chance of the useless SFA going for davies! Davies is most certainly not a yes man and the sfa want someone in there with the least confrontation as possible! There's one thing i will say, billy davies is a very good manager/ coach IMO! I think he would do very well as scotland manager!

15 Oct 2018 14:11:35
No he isn't coops, he's tragic. Why has no one offered him a job? He's a clownđź‘Ť.

15 Oct 2018 15:30:05
Because he was bad mouthed by one of the forest hierarchy and is currently going through a legal fight to clear his name! Hope that answers your question coldo!

15 Oct 2018 16:55:24
Davies Manchester night clubs, end of story.

15 Oct 2018 17:58:18
Coop you spouted that crap the last time we went through this, its just a pathetic excuse đź‘Ť. If he was any good then clubs would have snapped him upđź‘Ť.

15 Oct 2018 18:14:41
Coldo. gives us all your lowdown on Billy Davies. I would guess u no hee haw about him. He took Derby to the premiership and u think he's pish.

15 Oct 2018 18:39:37
Just cause he took derby up means hee haw, the guy is a paranoid obsessed wreck. According to him "he'll be back at the top of footbal and clubs should be biting his hands off to take him". He might have taken derby up but 6 points from 14 games before he started blaming everyone else but himself. The guy is deludedđź‘Ť. Top class clownđź‘Ť.

15 Oct 2018 18:52:33
Would like to see Davies back in football shut a few folk up as he's a good coach.

15 Oct 2018 19:09:07
He needs to shut himself up jzerđź‘Ť, total moon howler of a man. Just for the record I'm not being paid by a PR company to say thatđź‘Ť. Are these Coldo's own words.? Yes, yes they aređź‘Ť.

15 Oct 2018 20:26:41
Agree with coldo, balloon of a man.

15 Oct 2018 20:31:00
Billy davies's managerial record at motherwell, preston, derby and notts forest is good! Kris boyd also said not long ago, that billy davies is the best manager/ coach, he's played under! Ex scotland manager and sir alex said several years ago, that billy davies is a terrific coach, with tremendous attention to detail, in his coaching style! But you have a bee in your bonnet coldo, regarding billy davies, don't you? But your right and kris boyd, sir alex and craig brown are all wrong, NO CHANCE! Billy davies is a very good coach in a nutshell pal and you won't convince me otherwise! On football alone, davies has got it, end of!

15 Oct 2018 20:55:40
Does anyone remember his role in tommy case.

15 Oct 2018 21:02:24
Billy Davies is not the answer. He hasn't managed in years. Supercoop blaws about his managerial career, its really not that good. Apparently sir Alex and Craig broom think he's great? Really? Think they've said the same things about McLeish. Nobody cares what Kris Boyd says or thinks. I like McLeish and loved what he did with rangers and thought he'd be good for Scotland but its been hard going.

15 Oct 2018 21:29:07
So Coop my friend, a few days after saying Eck shouldn't have got the Scotland job back as we should have went for a young, vibrant manager who had new ideas you know say Billy Davies would do a good job. I am confused? 🤔.

15 Oct 2018 21:31:55
Who is the answer blueberry?

15 Oct 2018 21:52:34
To be honest with this squad of players its not an easy job. Steve Clarke would be my choice. Would he take it on? No idea. David moyes?

15 Oct 2018 22:09:50
Wow! What a debate. I only asked, as Bernard Bresslaw used to say.

15 Oct 2018 22:32:43
Snell, i do think scotland need a young vibrant coach, with modern day methods! That doesn't stop me thinking billy davies or stevie clarke for that matter, wouldn't do well as the scotland manager, because IMHO they would do well! Still confused?

16 Oct 2018 08:44:35
With a group like ours, Scotland just need a man to galvanise them, make them hard to beat and get everyone playing above their normal level and pulling in the one direction. It would have to be Steve Clarke from all the options at the moment. McLeish simply hasn’t done all of this and his player selection is poor, Shinnie?

16 Oct 2018 13:46:22
I believe Billy Davies is probably an informed and astute football coach. I also believe he has made some unwise choices over the company he keeps away from football. As long as no one is suggesting he coould ever be a candidate for manager of Glasgow Rangers I wish him well.

16 Oct 2018 19:19:47
Arrogant tube of a man, might be a decent coach but every club he's at can't wait to be rid of him. He's not been out of football this long for no reason.

15 Oct 2018 08:17:55
Not being a Scot maybe I shouldn’t be involved in your debate concerning the Scotland manager? But there are good Scottish managers out there who could do a job for Scotland ( given time) one comes to mind Jack Ross.

15 Oct 2018 09:00:00
McLeish is going embrass himself soon.

16 Oct 2018 14:39:02
Mate it’s has embraced himself not going to
Have a look round you can select the dynasors in football
Well past the sell buy sate
David moyse
Big Alex
Sam Allerdice
Steve Mclaren
Past it.
