I told everyone on here when I posted in last week that christian purslow IS getting the top job within the rangers board if jim mccoll & paul murray win the power struggle which they now will do, well fellow 'bears fans christian purslow WILL be the new chief executive of rangers just as I said, 100% guaranteed!GAZZA8!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Nothing with Rangers is 100% guaranteed.

Agree0 Disagree0

Oh we have voted already then, screw the 21 days notice.

get a grip FFS!

Agree0 Disagree0

You're spot on GAZZA8, I also have it on very good authority that christian purslow will be rangers new chief executive with dave king as our new chairman, what a stunning appointment purslow will be, he has some business acumen and some, BIG RAM! {The Ed039's Note - Good authority?? You mean the back pages of todays newspapers?)

Just one question to Paul Murray.
Why did he, and his backers, not take action against the preferred bidder situation with Green's consortium and saved all the trouble associated with what followed OR is it just a case that his group want to do everything without spending any money?
The current debacle, although the fault of the existing board, is the use of a technicality to get on the board.
My prediction is that, with the backing of the major shareholders,
it will just be another costly exercise.

Op, in answer to your question I think through time when bdo have completed their investigation there will be criminal charges laid to those they deem responsible in relation to the takeover, BT

Agree0 Disagree0

Bt that gave me a laugh there

JG

Agree0 Disagree0

BT, I hope that happens, but surely action by Murray and his backers would have accelerated this.
billyb

Agree0 Disagree0

N3 I also hope it happens but p murray and his crew had to wait until current board fecked up surely if pm and his crew made a noise at the begining and current board had done a good job pm would have made a fool of himself

Watch for Celtic and their supporters coming out and trying to put the boot in about anything again, they have a free ride to 10 in a row and CL every year with the nonsense going on at ibrox but if king, Murray get control others will come on board and rangers will be massive in 4 years again.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Rangers r massive already rangers in spfl will win league at first time of asking if not second season the boardroom struggle will get sorted out eventually there's absolutely no way that lot will win 10 titles r u insane

Agree0 Disagree0

No one needs to come in "to put the boot in" anymore. Rangers are perfectly capable of kicking themselves when they are down.

@1 bold statement then you suffer a bit of the jitters, pure comedy gold!

Agree0 Disagree0

First of all Celtic as a club are not interested in taking this proposed motion forward. They can see the implications of it and will distance themselves from it. Secondly UEFA will kick there ( Celtic fans/shareholder group ) ridiculous proposal into touch. They are now grasping at straws to get RFC shut down indirectly trying to blame the SFA.

Agree0 Disagree0

If uefa did act they could suspend scotlands membership. Bye bye europe and byw bye players coming to scotland.

Agree0 Disagree0

N4 and the reason for Celtics fans actions are they now know we will be back stronger and now quicker than they thought tmwnn

Would appear to be a lot of confidence stemming from yesterday in getting rid of the spivs by democratic vote but what happens if the vote favours the current regime? The actual make up of shareholder percentage is still open to debate so I would be cautious at this stage as I'm still worried that a agm in Dec might come too late

Believable0 Unbelievable0

OP it will also depend on the method of voting
if a show of hands will be accepted whereby every shareholders vote is counted equal regardless of the number of shares they own
or
if a poll will be required wherby a shareholder has one vote for every share they own

Knowing the current board I believe it will be the latter, if this is the case then we will see sandy easdales true colours, he would have a major say as he has voting rights for just under 25% of shares

Is Ally going to vote for his pal Mather or Dave King?

Bet he's hoping to keep his vote to himself and then claim whoever wins the vote has his support.

If he really does love Rangers more than he does money then he has to come oyr for the Brogues not Rogues.

Agree0 Disagree0

Op I would imagine pm and jmc know they will have more votes or they would have backed down by now n2 I think am will vote with pm and crew cause he knows where thier loyalties lie

Paul Murray who won yesterdays court
case still believe's whyte & green are
major stakeholder's in the club (todays
papers)
billy h

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Paul Murray DID NOT say they were still major shareholders, when asked he said "the short answer is I do not know but I still have concerns"

Agree0 Disagree0

@ 1 I did not say he said they WERE
I said BELIEVE'S so if he said as you
say concern's, or what ever way he
put to interviewer he must still
think they have some sort of
influence.
billy h

Agree0 Disagree0

Let us not forget that p. murray wants the punters on his side so saying I don't know but have concerns gets the punters thinking it is the case it also means he can not be accused of telling porkies. For the moment everyone should be aware of all of them being somewhat ambiguous.

Agree0 Disagree0

The official statements show Paul Murray was representing 0. 71% of shareholders in the court of session, which is ridiculously small.

Agree0 Disagree0

@4 no mate the four guys that want on the board have 0. 71% shares between them

Agree0 Disagree0

Op I've said all along I think cg and his sotter cw still have a big say on current board matters get them out
