I was in the stands Andy, stil remember saying to my pal “ that’s in” soon as he hit it, funny how you get a knack for these things, I’ve said it many times, most notable was Gary Macs shot at ibrox, but cooper is my hero and the drybrough cup final goal also is a day il never forget, mainly due to the heartache of the previous old firm game.

I was the same bluebell, right behind the goal in the family section with my father, uncle and cousin. What I loved about it was that it wasn’t a curler, or up and over the wall with dip on it, he just rifled it straight into the top corner. Absolute genius of a player.

Totally agree guys and i also have special memories of super cooper's stunning free kick in the league cup final against aberdeen 👏I was in the rangers end that day and when coops struck that free kick into the celtic end, we could actually hear the noise it made, striking the back of jim leighton's net, such was the power/ ferosity of the strike 👌Coops was a very special talent indeed, god rest his soul 🙏.

Talking about super goals from supercoop. I remember many years ago watching Davie Cooper scoring a wonder goal, when he played for the Bankies. He was out on the right wing around about the centre line. He stopped, looked up, and sent a sublime ball into the top corner with that wonderful left foot. The keeper had absolutely no chance. A master at at work. God Rest Him.

This may be of interest to one of you. A friend of mine has two tickets in a corporate box for England v Scotland. He paid £300 each, but he didn't realise when he bought them that it was going to be the same day as his C.V. postponed wedding. If you are interested, he is looking for someone to take his place.
It's at Hamilton Registry Office, at 2.30pm. The bride's name is Moira, she's 5'4", about 8 stone, quite pretty, has her own income and is a really good cook.

Anyone thinks at least 4 players won’t be sold in jan/ summer are seriously misinformed, this is why young promising players must be bought cheaper than what goes out, simply economically sound and will help Rangers go forward without financial concerns, Ferguson is a good player, so is Kenny McLean, and both rangers fans, don’t get the instant dislike of youngsters who are obviously recognised elsewhere as good players, is it that they’re Rangers fans? It’s strange but some have a problem with that, doesn’t happen with other clubs fans, and anyone thinks Ferguson isn’t good enough must also think they know better than the manager and the people who voted him ypoy.

I think Ronald waterreuss actually retired klos. After klos came back from injury and Ronnie kept his place in team that’s when klos packed it in I think. I may be wrong. I also loved charbonnier paul86 thought he was a great keeper.

I agree paul86, that before lionel charbonnier picked up a rib injury,
which kept him out for a while, he was superb for us. I'll never forget his save from a henrik larsson header from point blank which he touched onto the bar 👌It was a stunning save and i had a cracking view of it in the copland road stand. The game ended 0-0 that day but what a save that was from charbonnier 👌.

McCloy played in an era when no keeper was like Goram or Stefan, goalkeepers were mainly tall and rarely made the kind of saves more modern keeper makes, and big Peter couldn’t have made such saves, Goram has disgraced himself and the club as far as I’m concerned, knowing what I know about him, it’s my opinion, but in any case I always thought Stefan to be a world class keeper.

I see we're being linked this morning with norwich city and scotland midfielder kenny mclean, about a possible move to us in january 🤔 Although kenny is a massive rangers fan and would undoubtedly want to sign for us, i honestly just don't know how he would get into our midfield, even though he's left sided, with a terrific left peg? I don't see the point in any January signings unless it could significantly improve on what we have. The competition in our midfield right now is great and Zungu has hardly kicked a ball yet! Up front, we have Morelos, Defoe, Roofe and Itten and we have four very good centre backs, two great goalies and cover for both full back positions. Good to see young Patterson involved with the Scotland under-21 squad last week.
