Yesterday first time ever I sat in a pub with Celtic fans they had there tops on I had my Rangers one on it was requested by the man that passed RIP George XX there was respect on both sides actually had a laugh good night was.

16 Nov 2019 16:09:16
used to live through in West Lothian and it was common to sit in the same pub if i couldn't make it through to the game. must admit was always a good laugh, good banter and never any fights. a lot of my best mates are of the other persuasion, my wife too and all of her family (filipinos) and i don't even think of it to be honest. you can't honestly look at someone and think they are different from us. as my departed mother always said, we are all Jock Tamsons Bairns.

Geesadodothat where about in West Lothian did you stay 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇦🇺⚽️👍.

People please stop the post I wrote about Marco Negri earlier I know he left in a bad way. UNFORGIVABLE

I simply wrote it because you can't ignore the 6 months he had it our famous Glasgow Rangers club is probably the Best 6 Months any Striker has had at our club.

I was simply asking will we ever see a 6 months like that ever again at our club I know Alfredo is on 22/ 23 goals this season will he move on level or past negri before 2020 starts if not will we ever see it again in future with Alfs replacement who ever that may be or from anyone else in future.

That's what I wanted to know thank you fellow

BEARS&BEARETTS 🔴⚪️🔵🇬🇧.

15 Nov 2019 12:49:27
That you sobered up now mate? 😂.

15 Nov 2019 15:38:08
The answer in short is no we can’t see it because none of us are psychic.

15 Nov 2019 16:37:08
Paracetamol helps mate and another dozen cans, I suspect we probably will see the likes again m in the next hundred years as there is always another one coming along
HOWS YIR HEID? I think btw mcoist far outdone NEGRI.

15 Nov 2019 18:44:04
No. Chance tomster. Negri a phenomenan . did ally score 5 in one game? I kn Kenny Millar did but Negri 35 goals in half a season? Wow.

15 Nov 2019 19:52:19
Negri doesn’t even come close to McCoist in my book Molsgoals.

15 Nov 2019 20:18:24
Negri seemed to take the huff but was a cracking striker.

16 Nov 2019 00:14:54
Negri came from Perugia, no chance he knew our history. Some striker though, unlimited talent but sometimes you need more.

16 Nov 2019 00:22:30
Hufy guy but what a finisher. Hid movement and composure around the box was unbelievable.

15 Nov 2019 10:25:30
Rangers should not even bother with the tax controversy! The club is in a good place now, let's leave the past where it belongs!

15 Nov 2019 10:56:03
Jason, come on? HMRC who never comment on any cases ever have taken to Twitter today to plead?
Something not right😤🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧.

15 Nov 2019 12:03:20
Jason, I might agree with you but if 50m recompense to gers at stake plus possible highlighting of financial malpractice towards bears I say let it run.

15 Nov 2019 12:51:46
What's mentioned by something not rite is this a HMRC coment.

15 Nov 2019 13:57:44
Jason tell that to the Manks fans . They will cling on to our downfall longer than remembrance day and the poppies.

They are squirming all over the media in case anything does come out of the HMRC scandal to our advantage. Nothing will of course we are talking about the tax man.

15 Nov 2019 14:11:41
Jason brown, i'm inclined to agree. as much as it was a dirty thing to do, and i'm sure it was done that way, its history. leave it in the depths of the book.
We now have a marvellous academy with top men running it and a top of the tree man running first team. none of that would have happened if what happened didnt.
We have a chance now to be a top club with talent coming through each year. We will eventually win league and may well stay at top. it might take a year or too but we will get there.

15 Nov 2019 15:13:34
Struth your comment reminds me of the saying "every cloud has a silver ligning" and this cloud certainly has.

15 Nov 2019 16:46:32
Struth well said mate! 😉.

15 Nov 2019 09:12:33
Hi fellow bears if you scroll down the rangers fiance page i wrote about the reason had nothing to do with Ebts us going bust the sun news paper today has wrote just about word for word whay i wrote 24hours earlier i run my own company and what has happened here is the tax man has agreed to reduce money owed to recoup what the can from what money is left in the liquidation pot (BDO) this is normal practice and usually further down the line as the taxman is the first person to be paid after PAYE is paid out the times as i said have spun this by saying its a mistake it wasnt i was a final reduction to get as much money back as they can the Tims are having a field day cause of this news paper (ENGLISH) by the way read the sun it tells you what happened we refused to paye just a paltry 9 million in PAYE in installments but cause that dick whyte took tictus money to pay off Murrys 19million to bank he failed in the first payment would of meant we wouldn't get a Euro licence to play for 3 year cause of fair play rules this has just opened sore wounds and mischief journalism trying to sell papers were not much better off than we were in 2012 if not worse just that we have paid PAYE keeps the wolfs away from the doors back to football for me.

15 Nov 2019 09:36:03
Could someone please translate big blue bear rant into english please.

15 Nov 2019 11:20:13
ger4life ill explain it in nursery language for you we don't have a leg to stand on plain and simple times spun the story to sell papers we fell for it the record and sun are backing down on the story now as are radio clde and skysports.

15 Nov 2019 12:27:03
It's nothing do do with needing nursery language. Its near impossible to read. No punctuation, poor spelling etc.

F- Do better.

15 Nov 2019 12:51:51
You run your own company but can’t even put a full stop between sentences? Nothing to do with nursery language, your post was a dugs dinner.

15 Nov 2019 12:54:25
and he is also missing the point like his newspaper mob pals. the debt made us look totally unattractive to buy out. if he had read my posts he would have known the ebt dept always settles for less. I know cause I used to work for them.

15 Nov 2019 14:12:26
I believe Eric is correct Big Blue, HMRC over estimated our debt liability which put any real investors off and gave the weazels the chance to make a fast buck.

To me that is the only road that could be taken in any possible claim .

However, when has HMRC ever been successfully sued for damages? .

15 Nov 2019 14:17:29
Big blue bear, read the article from the gers chairman at the time. It's an interesting read.

15 Nov 2019 17:28:12
Big Blue Bear, I am 66 and left the nursery long long ago. If you are what you say you are then GOD HELP US. Your use of the english language is absolutely atrocious.

15 Nov 2019 18:35:19
Her for life big blue at it.

15 Nov 2019 18:52:01
Big blue . your post is all very well and reasonable but that dosnt explain the fact that Hmrc have now dropped any intention of chasing anyone paid by ebts fir unpaid tax . Or chase any other club that used it . Which would possibly ask the question why did they not just close the loophole at the time without all the scaremongering, putting our club and only our club through the ringer?

15 Nov 2019 21:03:49
one of the reasons maybe molsgoals that HMRC only got permission to appeal the rangers directors and other side issues (souness) ebt's.
maybe one they don't want to tussle with because the legislation should only apply to paye employees (players) . they got a decision but might only be a technical win as they don't want to destroy beneficial loans benefits to other workers.

15 Nov 2019 08:33:47
Just like all stories headlined by the newspapers we should be careful about getting too excited about the HMRC story in the Times.

I'm sure that there is no smoke without fire and that the story will develop but we wo t know the full detail until next year.

Like all legal disputes there will be two opposing arguments. David Murray's empire was struggling for cash at the time and most likely did not have the resources to really fight the tax demand particularly as the Big Tax case was so enormous. He was under pressure from the banks and needed out.

If as claimed the monies owed was over egged by +£50m there is going to be one hell of a mess to sort out.

I'd imagine that IOM and billyb will even come out and retract their complaints about DM and perhaps tone down their mistrust in DK! 😇.

15 Nov 2019 09:04:54
Spot on Dk 19.

15 Nov 2019 17:23:05
Well the Bank called in the loan because they feared if we did have to pay HMRC they would be preferred creditors and the bank would have got nothing. Murray was told by the bank to sell. so the point and i know its all ifs and buts, is that if the debt was 20M and not 70M or even the 110M then the bank may well have allowed us to continue without selling as we were already paying back i believe 4M year or year to the bank.

15 Nov 2019 18:58:50
Wow DK read my post of earlier if Ed posts it . I say exactly the same thing In regards to David Murray . This is getting very scarey now .

15 Nov 2019 19:00:53
Exactly gees. This is infact the point . The bank wanted a piece of Murray, and the rangers scaremongering was the final straw for them.

15 Nov 2019 08:13:37
Folks, I know there's no tax experts on here (unlike their pages), however does anyone know if there is anything stopping DK buying back old co and merging with new co so any compensation received from HMRC can benefit us just now?

15 Nov 2019 10:05:02
without knowing all the details of course, funds that become available will go to the original creditors listed at the time. So / i think if the new company didn't exist it won't be a creditor.
The fun comes in decidingwhere the surplus if ant might go.
Whet if Whyte is on that list.

15 Nov 2019 17:25:10
aye whyte will be on the list for the 1pound he put in. but you are correct if the surplus if any then made the company solvent as such and ability to clear its debt you can request the courts to cancel the liquidation.

15 Nov 2019 07:53:26
Lets put this argument to bed once and for all. Morelos is going nowhere in January. We are neck in neck with Celtic (I won't call them them mankies as some do), we are in a title race, looking as if we will qualify from the group stages, so very bad time to sell your star man. In addition, Morelos value is only going one way, UP UP UP, he is only 23 years old, tons of potential and may one day reach the highest level, prolific goal scorer, including Europe, tremendous work rate, Colombian internationalist, this guy will sell for £30+ in the summer, he is not going to be sold in January.

15 Nov 2019 07:44:28
This isn't a rumour, and won't happen, but to me sounds ideal on paper.

Olivier Giroud available for £5m and £5m a year salary over two years.

Alfie could net us £25m and seems to want to go.

Giroud would be an equal, if not an upgrade for the short term, and £10m left over to plug a short term hole.

Obviously this won't happen and we won't sell Alfie til the summer and at that point we will reinvest in a younger and cheaper player. But if he forced a move in January, it'd be a good solution.

Fantasy football stuff I know, but it's amazing what my mind will wander to before I need to actually do some work.

15 Nov 2019 08:58:51
Imo although giroud has a bit of skill is a very lazy player and would not fit our system in the slightest. would rather we went and tapped up Gayle who is out of favour at newcastle. But never gona happen.

15 Nov 2019 09:20:56
Giroud is one of the most complete team strikers around. He’s anything but lazy. But I’m wasting time on this because it’s pure fantasy anyway!

15 Nov 2019 09:53:53
All about opinions. don't think he would play well through middle himself. Like you said will never happen anyway. Could jot afford his wages.

True what everyone is sayin. alfie is happy enough here. A kid on the way, happy wife, lucky him and the slim prospect of champ league footie. He's on good money, top scorer in demand etc. He wants to win something before moving. A league title will only add to his value. He knows this. On and up.

15 Nov 2019 16:38:41
Who is everyone mate.
