Just been watching the championship semi between Leeds and Derby. With us looking for a good option at left back, what do you think about looking at Stuart Dallas for that role? Seems like a mirror image of Tav to me. Commentator seems to think he's playing left back although I thought he was always more of a winger.

Thewanpacer. He was playing out of position, he is a winger, also plays the same at right back . Very good player.
Wilson was excellent too, Kent won't get in front of him at Liverpool, could be a bonus.

Stuart Dallas is a very good player who scores goals, also a bluenose from Cookstown in NI. He signed a 4 year contract with Leeds at beginning of season, not sure but I think he is 28/ 29?

Interesting parallels between Lampard and Gerrard in their first season as managers. Both former England legends and they have both done well, a breath of fresh air compared to all those foreign coaches. Perhaps a Derby County and Rangers double next season!

The only difference between us and them this season, is if we had beaten them at celtic Park, We were 10 behind and got beaten 2/ 1, if the score had gone the other way we would of been 7 behind and just 3 behind going into the old firm, in a match that we should of won with 10 men. We could of had a helicopter day so the season has been closer than people think. It's all what ifs, but they are the for the taking and everyone know it, Davis and kamarra have been the steel and flair our team needed, stronger going forward and better at the back, great signings for 50 k amazing. we have had a great season and I never really thought we could win it this season after the mess that Gerrard took over, We will be stronger next season with a more settled squad and can't wait for next season, not many celtic fans can say that.

It would now seem that Rangers are being targeted and scrutinised more closely than any other club in the SPFL - so be it.
SG now knows what it is like to manage Rangers in this celtic influenced league.
SG will (now) be telling his players to be professional but ruthless in every game - we will not be getting any favours, at all, from referees, SPFL, SFA or the media.
From now on every game must be won clinically and professionally with every point grabbed and held - no complacency, no slacking and no surrender!

As all fellow bears on here knows, southampton have been linked with wanting to sign both james tavernier and scott arfield, from us. As we all know in football, money does talk and with the money the clubs get down in england, they could easily afford both our players. What do we think bears, how much minimum, being realistic of course,
could/ should we expect from southampton,
or any other club for that matter, for the combined transfer fee of both tav and arfield?
I reckon for both a fair fee would be £15million!

Minimum price for bang average squad players who don't even get 1st team minutes, in that league start at 15mill.
For our Captain and for me our player of the year in Arfield, tell them 25 mill and settle for 20.

Tav Has 49 goals and 77 assists in his 4 years with us and I know some of this was in the championship but this is his best year statistically. Who you are going to get to replace those assists is beyond me. Arfield in his last 8 or so games for us has been truly terrific how much a replacement would cost is probably silly money. I want us to improve and selling our best players won't achieve that. I love Kent but I'd rather us lose out on him and keep the others. ideally we keep all 3. Morelos is the only top player I'd consider selling. Coop I appreciate your posts but I would not take £15m for either one of them.
Having said all that its not my money so wiser heads may prevail.

Coldo, I only had to watch it once and that was without my glasses on to know that was a red card as well as flannagans elbow. It truely is a disgrace the way these issues are handled. The sheer level of incompetence in scottish football is laughable.

I think at the end of the day it might be a good thing. If they say flanagans is a red, then its obvious the bias then to everyone watching as its no different to what was done to defoe. If they confirm a yellow as elbow didn't hit browns face, then questions have to arise around why the celtic captain grabbed his face when he dropped to the ground.
Fair play to Defoe, does what a real man does and just gets up no play acting no theatrics.
We know the whole thing is a farce. Re-referring games is a joke. Mistakes happen its part of the game. Where is it going to end up? Do we get to apply because Defoe missed an open goal and want it to be given as he made a mistake in the game and we should have won it?
Am happy if VAR comes in but only if its for goals or red cards.

Tilla die, I read it on rangers news now. Go over there and check it out. Its says they failed to reach a unanimous decision because they were split. The corruption, bias and downright dislike of Rangers by the SFA and SPFL is so blatant that is laughable. Best thing we can do is get the Gers back to the top as champions and do so year after year. Even they won't be able to do anything about that. With these corrupt institutions and the muppets in the media like Walker, Mutton and Stewart, who'd blame Rangers if they wanted to join the EPL?

Posted this earlier but it got lost.
Two long term dropped players have come back much hungrier and stronger i. e. Flanno and Barassic.
Flanno, in particular, looks as though he he lost a stone in weight and 3 years in age. Morelos also leaner and busier.
Also, look at the transformation in Halliday.
Could be that Stevie G is a better man manager than some give him credit for.
I have a sneaky wee suspicion that SG has the potential to become a serious Gers legend.
